1Large aperture N31 neodymium phosphate laser glass for use in a high power laser facility显示文摘Large aperture Nd:phosphate laser glass is a key optical element for an inertial confinement fusion(ICF) facility. N31,one type of neodymium doped phosphate glasses, was developed for high peak power laser facility applications in China. The composition and main properties of N31 glass are given, together with those of LHG-8, LG-770, and KGSS-0180 Nd:phosphate laser glasses, from Hoya and Schott, and from Russia. The technologies of pot melting, continuous melting, and edge cladding of large size N31 phosphate laser glass are briefly described. The small signal gain profiles of N31 glass slabs from both pot melting and continuous melting at various values of the pumping energy of the xenon lamp are presented. N31 glass is characterized by a stimulated emission cross section of 3.8 × 10-20cm2 at 1053 nm,an absorption coefficient of 0.10–0.15% cm-1at laser wavelength, small residual stress around the interface between the cladding glass and the laser glass, optical homogeneity of ~2 × 10-6in a 400 mm aperture, and laser damage threshold larger than 42 J/cm2 for a 3 ns pulse width at 1064 nm wavelength.Lili Hu Shubin Chen Jingping Tang Biao Wang Tao Meng Wei Chen Lei Wen Junjiang Hu Shunguang Li Yongchun Xu Yasi Jiang Junzhou Zhang Zhonghong Jiang 2014High Power Laser Science and Engineering2014,2,1:8
2Selective removal of heavy metal ions in aqueous solutions by sulfide-selector intercalated layered double hydroxide adsorbent显示文摘Remaining largely under-appreciated, a majority of metal ion sorbents are limited in their target selectivity. In this work, a 3D sulfide intercalated NiFe-layered double hydroxide (NFL-S) hierarchical sorbent has been synthesized for selective heavy metal removal. The intercalation of sulfurated groups in the interlayer of the layered double hydroxide (LDH) nanosheets endows NFL-S as a selective heavy metal ion filter;the selectivity of NFL-S for heavy metals is in the order of Pb^2+> Cu^2+≥ Zn^2+> Cd^2+> Mn^2+, and NFL-S has high kd values for Pb2+(~10^6 mL/g) and Cu2+(~10^5 mL/g). Scanning electron microscopy. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and powder X-ray diffraction were used to analyze the composition of the as-prepared nanoadsorbent. The selective adsorption behavior was systematically studied using batch experiments, and the performance was evaluated through kinetic and isotherm studies. 7High-index faceted noble metal nanostructures drive renewable energy electrocatalysis显示文摘Noble metallic nanocrystals are used in a wide variety of applications,such as catalysis,batteries,and bio-and chemical sensors.Most of the previous studies focus on the preparation of thermodynamically stable nanocrystals enclosed by low-index facets and discuss their corresponding catalytic properties.Recently,researchers have found that the nanocrystals with high-index facets(HIFs)are of more interest for electrocatalysis.Herein,we review recent key progress in the synthesis of noble metallic nanoparticles enclosed with HIFs and their facetdependent electrocatalytic behaviors.First,we introduce the concept of HIFs,and establish the correlation between their surface structure and catalytic activity.Then,we discuss various synthetic approaches for controlling the shapes and composition of the nanocrystals enclosed by HIFs.Afterwards,we showcase the enhanced electrocatalytic performance realized by HIF-based nanostructures.Finally,we provide guidance on how to improve the electrocatalysis by engineering HIFs on noble metallic nanocrystals.Chunji Li Mingchuan Luo Zhonghong Xia Shaojun Guo 2020Nano Materials Science2020,2,4:1

14M^(2)LC-Net: A Multi-Modal Multi-Disease Long-Tailed Classification Network for Real Clinical Scenes显示文摘Leveraging deep learning-based techniques to classify diseases has attracted extensive research interest in recent years.Nevertheless,most of the current studies only consider single-modal medical images,and the number of ophthalmic diseases that can be classified is relatively small.Moreover,imbalanced data distribution of different ophthalmic diseases is not taken into consideration,which limits the application of deep learning techniques in realistic clinical scenes.In this paper,we propose a Multimodal Multi-disease Long-tailed Classification Network(M^(2)LC-Net)in response to the challenges mentioned above.M^(2)LC-Net leverages ResNet18-CBAM to extract features from fundus images and Optical Coherence Tomography(OCT)images,respectively,and conduct feature fusion to classify 11 common ophthalmic diseases.Moreover,Class Activation Mapping(CAM)is employed to visualize each mode to improve interpretability of M^(2)LC-Net.We conduct comprehensive experiments on realistic dataset collected from a Grade III Level A ophthalmology hospital in China,including 34,396 images of 11 disease labels.Experimental results demonstrate effectiveness of our proposed model M^(2)LC-Net.Compared with the stateof-the-art,various performance metrics have been improved significantly.Specifically,Cohen’s kappa coefficient κ has been improved by 3.21%,which is a remarkable improvement.Zhonghong Ou Wenjun Chai Lifei Wang Ruru Zhang Jiawen He Meina Song Lifei Yuan Shengjuan Zhang Yanhui Wang Huan Li Xin Jia Rujian Huang 2021China Communications2021,18,9:0

18Selective flotation of chalcopyrite from pyrite via seawater oxidation pretreatment显示文摘The flotation separation of chalcopyrite from pyrite has attracted increasing attention due to the consumption of vast water resources and depressants.This study proposed the seawater oxidation pretreatment for non-depressant flotation separation of chalcopyrite from pyrite,as an effective and environmentally friendly strategy.Without the addition of depressants,seawater oxidation for 3 d effectively depressed pyrite flotation,with the highest recovery difference greater than 70%and a selectivity index greater than 6 between chalcopyrite and pyrite.The surface investigation showed that pyrite surface was more readily oxidized to form hydrophilic Fe oxidants/oxyhydroxides,as compared to that of chalcopyrite.Further UV-visible spectrophotometer and Fourier transform infrared spectrum(FTIR)results indicated that xanthate was less adsorbed onto the treated pyrite surface,resulting in un-floatable particles.Chalcopyrite surface was changed slightly due to seawater oxidation,thereby insignificantly affecting its flotation.The coordination theory was further used to reveal the combination mechanisms between xanthate and pyrite or chalcopyrite.This study therefore provides a promising strategy to effectively separate chalcopyrite from pyrite,especially in the freshwater-deficient area.Wanqing Li Yubiao Li Zhonghong Wang Xu Yang Wen Chen 2023International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2023,33,10:0
19A comprehensive modification enables the high rate capability of P2-Na_(0.75)Mn_(0.67)Ni_(0.33)O_(2) for sodium-ion cathode materials显示文摘The Na^(+)/vacancy ordering can effectively affect the electrochemical behavior of P2-type cathode material.In this work we proposed an integrated strategy by attaining a high Na content,In^(3+) doping in conjunction with NaInO_(2) coating in the P2-Na_(0.75)Mn_(0.67)Ni_(0.33)O_(2) which can inhibit the sodium vacancy order,smooth the electrochemical curve,and enhance the structural stability and rate capability.A combination of X-ray diffraction analysis and DFT calculation indicate that the In(3+) ions in the Na layer serve as'pillars”to stabilize the layered structure,especially for high current density charging.The P2-Na_(0.75)Mn_(0.67)Ni_(0.33)In_(0.02)O_(2) with an impressive sodium content exhibits a remarkable reversible capacity of 109.6 mAh g^(-1),superior rate capability capacity of 79.8 mAh g^(-1)at 20 C,and 85%capacity retention after 100 cycles at 5 C.This work demonstrates an efficient approach for the comprehensive optimization of sodium ion cathode materials.Xiaochen Feng Yong Li Qinhao Shi Xuan Wang Xiuping Yin Jing Wang Zhonghong Xia Haiyan Xiao Aibing Chen Xinxin Yang Yufeng Zhao 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,6:0
20Strategy dominance mechanism of autonomous collaboration in unmanned swarm within the framework of public goods game显示文摘The key advantage of unmanned swarm operation is its autonomous cooperation. How to improve the proportion of cooperators is one of the key issues of autonomous collaboration in unmanned swarm operations. This work proposes a strategy dominance mechanism of autonomous collaboration in unmanned swarm within the framework of public goods game. It starts with the requirement analysis of autonomous collaboration in unmanned swarm;and an aspiration-driven multiplayer evolutionary game model is established based on the requirement. Then the average abundance function and strategy dominance condition of the model are constructed by theoretical derivation.
