1Paleogene-Neogene stratigraphic realm and sedimentary sequence of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and their response to uplift of the plateau显示文摘Based on the data of 1:250000 geological mapping completed by CGS and the previous literature of the Cenozoic strata, 98 remnant basins and 5 stratigraphic realms with 13 stratigraphic subrealms have been recognized on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and its adjacent area. 2Alternative splicing of MaMYB16L regulates starch degradation in banana fruit during ripening显示文摘The alternative splicing of select genes is an important mechanism to regulate responses to endogenous and environmental signals in plants.However,the role of alternative splicing in regulating fruit ripening remains unclear.Here,we discovered that MaMYB16L,an R1-type MYB transcription factor,undergoes alternative splicing and generates two transcripts,the full-length isoform MaMYB16L and a truncated form MaMYB16S,in banana fruit.During banana fruit ripening,the alternative splicing process intensifies with downregulated MaMYB16L and upregulated MaMYB16S.Moreover,MaMYB16L is a transcriptional repressor that directly binds with the promoters of many genes associated with starch degradation and MaDREB2,a positive ripening regulator,and represses their expression.In contrast,MaMBY16S lacks a DNA-binding domain but competitively combines and forms non-functional heterodimers with functional MaMYB16L.MaMYB16L-MaMYB16S heterodimers decrease the binding capacity and transrepression activity of MaMYB16L.The downregulation of MaMYB16L and the upregulation of MaMYB16S,that is,a decreased ratio of active to non-active isoforms,facilitates the activation of ripening-related genes and thereby promotes fruit ripening.Furthermore,the transient overexpression of MaMYB16S promotes banana fruit ripening,whereas the overexpression of MaMYB16L delays this process.Therefore,the alternative splicing of MaMYB16L might generate a self-controlled regulatory loop to regulate banana fruit ripening.Guoxiang Jiang Dandan Zhang Zhiwei Li Hanzhi Liang Rufang Deng Xinguo Su Yueming Jiang Xuewu Duan 2021Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2021,63,7:2

4Hydrogen bonding of single acetic acid with water molecules in dilute aqueous solutions显示文摘In separation processes,hydrogen bonding has a very significant effect on the efficiency of isolation of acetic acid (HOAc) from HOAc/H2O mixtures. This intermolecular interaction on aggregates composed of a single HOAc molecule and varying numbers of H2O molecules has been examined by using ab initio molecular dynamics simulations (AIMD) and quantum chemical calculations (QCC). Thermodynamic data in aqueous solution were obtained through the self-consistent reaction field calculations and the polarizable continuum model. The aggregation free energy of the aggregates in gas phase as well as in aqueous system shows that the 6-membered ring is the most favorable structure in both states. The relative stability of the ring structures inferred from the thermodynamic properties of the QCC is consistent with the ring distributions of the AIMD simulation. The study shows that in dilute aqueous solution of HOAc the more favorable molecular interaction is the hydrogen bonding between HOAc and H2O molecules,resulting in the separation of acetic acid from the HOAc/H2O mixtures with more difficulty than usual.PU Liang SUN YueMing ZHANG ZhiBing 2009Science China Chemistry2009,52,12:1

7Geomorphologic Study of Anhui Section of Changjiang River Using Landsat TM Image显示文摘Fluvial landforms in the Anhui section of the Changjiang(Yangtze)River are often considered as the main factors for frequent floods.It is these special landforms that influence the channel changes of the Changjiang River.Using Landsat TM image of 2000,this paper conducted a series of image processing,including principal component analysis,multi-spectral composition,gray value statistics,and spectral analysis of ground objects.Then it got a new interpretation map of different kinds of fluvial landforms of the Changjiang River in the Anhui section.Based on the interpretation mentioned above,the paper analyzes the distribution and characteristics of such typical landforms as terraces,floodplains and battures,and their functions on the changes of river channel.The results show a consistence with the earlier conclusion that the Anhui section of the Changjiang River tends to deflect gradually toward south,which provides more implications for further study on the geomorphologic evolution of the river channel.Qi Yueming Tan Haiqiao Liang Xing 2007Chinese Geographical Science2007,17,3:0
8Low temperature synthesis of NiO/Co_3O_4 composite nanosheets as high performance Li-ion battery anode materials显示文摘NiO/Co3O4 composite nanosheets have been synthesized via a facile method at low temperature for the first time.The as prepared materials were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction(XRD) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and the performance of Li-ion batteries(LIBs) as anode materials were also studied.By controlling the atom ratio of Ni:Co,not only the size of the nanosheets can be controlled,the electrode's conductivity and stability could also be greatly improved.The composite material showed a stable capacity retention during cycling(87% of the second capacity was retained after 15 cycles) even at a relatively large current rate(400 mA/g).The NiO/Co3O4 nanosheet might be promising candidate anode materials in high performance Li-ion batteries.LIANG QingQin LI YueMing LI JingHong 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,32:0
9Full experimental determination of tunneling time with attosecond-scale streaking method显示文摘Tunneling is one of the most fundamental and ubiquitous processes in the quantum world.The question of how long a particle takes to tunnel through a potential barrier has sparked a long-standing debate since the early days of quantum mechanics.Here,we propose and demonstrate a novel scheme to accurately determine the tunneling time of an electron.In this scheme,a weak laser field is used to streak the tunneling current produced by a strong elliptically polarized laser field in an attoclock configuration,allowing us to retrieve the tunneling ionization time relative to the field maximum with a precision of a few attoseconds.This overcomes the difficulties in previous attoclock measurements wherein the Coulomb effect on the photoelectron momentum distribution has to be removed with theoretical models and it requires accurate information of the driving laser fields.We demonstrate that the tunneling time of an electron from an atom is close to zero within our experimental accuracy.Our study represents a straightforward approach toward attosecond time-resolved imaging of electron motion in atoms and molecules.Miao Yu Kun Liu Min Li Jiaqing Yan Chuanpeng Cao Jia Tan Jintai Liang Keyu Guo Wei Cao Pengfei Lan Qingbin Zhang Yueming Zhou Peixiang Lu 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,8:0

11Direct Visualization of Deforming Atomic Wavefunction in Ultraintense High-Frequency Laser Pulses显示文摘Interaction of intense laser fields with atoms distorts the bound-state electron cloud.Tracing the temporal response of the electron cloud to the laser field is of fundamental importance for understanding the ultrafast dynamics of various nonlinear phenomena of matter,but it is particularly challenging.Here,we show that the ultrafast response of the atomic electron cloud to the intense high-frequency laser pulses can be probed with the attosecond time-resolved photoelectron holography.In this method,an infrared laser pulse is employed to trigger tunneling ionization of the deforming atom.The shape of the deforming electron cloud is encoded in the hologram of the photoelectron momentum distribution.As a demonstration,by solving the time-dependent Schrödinger equation,we show that the adiabatic deforming of the bound-state electron cloud,as well as the nonadiabatic transition among the distorted states,is successfully tracked with attosecond resolution.Our work films the formation process of the metastable Kramers-Henneberger states in the intense high-frequency laser pulses.This establishes a novel approach for time-resolved imaging of the ultrafast bound-state electron processes in intense laser fields.Jintai Liang Yueming Zhou Yijie Liao Wei-Chao Jiang Min Li Peixiang Lu 2022Ultrafast Science2022,,5:0

13Stability evaluation of the PROSPECT model for leaf chlorophyll content retrieval显示文摘The radiative transfer model,PROSPECT,has been widely applied for retrieving leaf biochemical traits.However,little work has been conducted to evaluate the stability of the PROSPECT model with consideration of multiple factors(i.e.,spectral resolution,signal-to-noise ratio,plant growth stages,and treatments).This study aims to investigate the stability of the PROSPECT model for retrieving leaf chlorophyll(Chl)content(Cab).Leaf hemispherical reflectance and transmittance of oilseed rape were acquired at different spectral resolutions,noise levels,growth stages,and nitrogen treatments.The Chl content was also measured destructively by using a microplate spectrophotometer.The performance of the PROSPECT model was compared with a commonly used random forest(RF)model.The results showed that the prediction accuracy of PROSPECT and RF models for Cab did not produce significant differences under varied spectral resolutions ranging from 1 to 20 nm.The ranges of the relative root mean square errors(rRMSE)of the PROSPECT and RF models were 12%-13%and 11.70%-12.86%,respectively.However,the performance of both models for leaf Chl retrieval was strongly influenced by the noise level with the rRMSE of 13-15.37%and 12.04%-15.80%for PROSPECT and RF,respectively.For different growth stages,the PROSPECT model had similar prediction accuracies(rRMSE=9.26%-12.41%)to the RF model(rRMSE=9.17%-12.70%).Furthermore,the superiority of the PROSPECT model(rRMSE=10.10%-12.82%)over the RF model(rRMSE=11.81%-15.47%)was prominently observed when tested with plants growth at different nitrogen treatment levels.The results demonstrated that the PROSPECT model has a more stable performance than the RF model for all datasets in this study.Li Zhai Liang Wan Dawei Sun Alwaseela Abdalla Yueming Zhu Xiaoran Li Yong He Haiyan Cen 2021International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,5:0
