1Vertical distribution characteristics of PM in the surface layer of Guangzhou显示文摘Measurements of particulate matter(PM),i.e.,PM10,PM2.5,and PMl,have been performed on the Canton Tower,a landmark building in Guangzhou,at heights of 121 and 454 m since November 2010,using a GRIMM 180 aerosol particle spectrometer(Germany).Analyses of data from November 2010 to May2013 showed that the annual average values of PM10,PM2.5,and PMl at the observation height of 121 m above the ground were 44.1,38.2,and 34.9μg/m3,respectively,and those at 454 m above the ground were 35.7,30.4,and 27.5 μg/m3,respectively.By considering the values of the secondary concentration limits given in the Ambient Air Quality Standards issued in 2012,it was observed that the annual average values of PM10 at the observation heights of 121 and 454 m,as well as those of PM2.5 at 454 m,reached those standards.Furthermore,the over-standard amplitude of the annual average value of PM2.5 at the observation height of 121 m was 9.1%.During the observation period,the maximum daily average values of PM10,PM2.5,and PM1 at the observation height of 121 m were 183.3,144.8,and 123.8 μg/m^3,respectively,and those at 454 m were 102.8,92.7,and 86.4 μg/m3.The daily average values of PM 10 at the observation height of 454 m were not above the standards.The over-standard frequencies of the daily average values of PM10 and PM2.5 at the observation height of 121 m were 0.6%and 10.7%,respectively,and the over-standard amplitudes were 9.0%and 24.4%,respectively.The over-standard frequency of the daily average value of PM2.5 at the observation height of 454 m was 2.0%,and the over-standard amplitude was 10.4%.Accordingly,it can be stated that the air at the observation height 454 m above the ground did not reach the secondary limit of the new standards.The pollution was most serious during winter,and the air was relatively cleaner during summer.Overall,the vertical distributions of PM 10,PM2.5,and PMl decreased with height.The lapse rates showed the following sequence:PM10 > PM2.5 > PM1,which indicates that the vertical distribution of fine particles is more uniform than that of coarse particles;the vertical distribution in summer is more uniform than in other seasons.Xuejiao Deng Fei Li Yuanhong Li Jianyong Li Hongzhi Huang Xiantong Liu 2015Particuology2015,13,3:10
2Autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in chemotherapy-sensitive lymphoblastic lymphoma: treatment outcome and prognostic factor analysis显示文摘Objective: The study evaluated the effectiveness of autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(AHSCT) in the treatment of lymphoblastic lymphoma(LL).Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the data from 41 patients with chemotherapy-sensitive LL who underwent hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(HSCT) from December 1989 to December 2009 in a single institution.Results: HSCT was conducted as first-line consolidation therapy and salvage therapy in 36 and 5 patients, respectively. The median follow-up was 97.1 months(range, 24.6-173.1 months). The 5-year overall survival(OS) and event-free survival(EFS) rate were 64% and 47% for the initially treated patients, respectively, and were both 20% for the relapsed ones. 3Self-Assembled Silane Film and Silver Nanoparticles Coating on Magnesium Alloys for Corrosion Resistance and Antibacterial Applications显示文摘Contamination resulting from microbial adhesion on magnesium alloys is very common in many applications.Self-assembly technology was employed to prepare an antibacterial composite coating by fixing silver nanoparticles(AgNPs)onto the surface of magnesium alloys.The AgNPs were immobilized on the surface of3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane(APTMS)-modified magnesium alloy AZ31(APTMS/Mg)through electrostatic inter-attraction between partially protonated amino groups and negatively charged citrate-capped AgNPs,resulting in the AgNPs attached APTMS/Mg(AgNPs/APTMS/Mg)substrate.The prepared Ag colloid and functionalized AZ31 alloy were characterized by ultraviolet-visible(UV-vis)spectroscopy,Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and electrochemical methods.Finally,the bactericidal activity of AgNPs/APTMS/Mg substrate against Escherichia coli was assessed by the inhibition zone.The results demonstrated that Si-O-Si covalent bonds existed on the substrate with the formation of inorganic Si-O-Mg bonds.AgNPs were immobilized and well-dispersed,forming a uniform submonolayer on the silane film in two dimensions.The AgNPs/APTMS-pretreated AZ31 alloys exhibited better corrosion resistance and excellent antibacterial performance.Rongchang ZENG Lijun LIU Shuoqi LI Yuhong ZOU Fen ZHANG Yanan YANG Hongzhi CUI En-hou HAN 2013Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2013,26,6:8
4Mining the key regulatory genes of chicken inosine 5'-monophosphate metabolism based on time series microarray data显示文摘IMP(inosine 5'-monophosphate) is a compound that enhances the flavor of poultry meat.IMP has become a new breeding trait to improve poultry meat quality.We tried to identify several potential regulatory genes,and construct their predicted regulatory relationships.Time series gene expression profiles of thigh muscle tissues of Rugao chicken,a famous indigenous breed in China,were performed for analysis of genes that are co-expressed or correlated with the concentration of IMP.We found 15 crucial co-expression genes,which are Hspa2,Pten,Gabpa,Bpi,Mkl1,Srf,Cd34,Hspa4,Etv6,Bmpr2,Gde1,Igfbp5,Cd28,Pecam1 and Gja1,that may directly or indirectly regulate IMP metabolism.Eventually,we computed the correlation coefficient between 19 IMP Genes and 15 CGs(15co-expression genes),and we identified and constructed a predicted regulation network.In conclusion,variation of IMP concentration was primarily connected with the muscle development process.During this process,15 CGs were identified that may have significant influence on IMP metabolism.In particular,Bmpr2,Pten and co-expression genes correlated with Entpd8 might play important roles in regulating IMP de novo synthesis,decomposition and salvage synthesis.Teng Ma Lu Xu Hongzhi Wang Jing Chen Lu Liu Guobin Chang Guohong Chen 2015Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2015,6,3:6
5miR-23b promotes cutaneous wound healing through inhibition of the inflammatory responses by targeting ASK1显示文摘Wound healing is a complicated event that develops in three overlapping phases:inflammatory, proliferative,and remodeling.MicroRNAs (miRNAs)have been proved to play an important role in the healing process of skin trauma,and alteration of specific miRNA expression during different phases may be associated with abnormal wound healing.In this study,we determined the variation of miR-23b expression after trauma in normal mice and in cultured cells exposed to lipopolysaccharide.We further demonstrated that excessive miR-23b could significantly accelerate wound healing in vivo.Up-regulation of miR-23b decreases infiltration of inflammatory cells,as evidenced by pathologic staining.Meanwhile,miR-23b could significantly inhibit the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines,including TNF-α,IL-1β,IL-6,and Ccl2,and significantly increase antiinflammatory factor IL-10.Furthermore,miR-23b could also promote α-SMA expression in a fiber pattern and increase the expression of Col1a1 and Col3a1.Importantly,we also showed that miR- 23b could inhibit inflammation to promote wound healing by targeting apoptotic signal-regulating kinase 1 (ASK1).Notably,knockdown of ASK1 could reduce inflammation factor expression in vitro.Together,our data reveal that miR-23b is a potent therapeutic agent for cutaneous wound healing that shortens the period of inflammatory responses and promotes keratinocyte migration for the re-epithelialization of wound sites.Hongzhi Li Xiao Han Kuiyang Zuo Li Li Jieting Liu Xiaohuan Yuan Yongchao Shen Minglong Shao Daxin Pang Yanhui Chu Binghai Zhao 2018Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2018,50,11:5

7Versatile synthesis of yolk/shell hybrid nanocrystals via ion-exchange reactions for novel metal/semiconductor and semiconductor/semiconductor conformations显示文摘Yolk/shell (Y-S) hybrid nanoarchitectures, owing to the interior voids createdfor individualized catalyst applications, have emerged as new candidates foreffectively isolating catalytic species. 8An Application-Oriented Cache Allocation and Prefetching Method for Long-Running Applications in Distributed Storage Systems显示文摘Characteristics of long-running applications in cloud and big data environment are various and significantly influence the performance of cache systems.The gap between existing cache systems and the increasing performance requirements motivates us to propose the Application-oriented cache allocation and prefetching method(ACAP)to improve data access performance.An application-oriented cache allocation approach is designed based on hit count growth rates for a higher overall hit rate.Two application-oriented sequential prefetching approaches are proposed to improve the hit rate and prefetching accuracy by learning average read sizes of long-running applications.Based on correlation of data accesses,a parallelized correlated-directed prefetching approach is proposed to further increase the hit rate.Above approaches are intergrated to obtain the maximized hit rate and prefetching accuracy.Experimental results on12 public real system traces show that ACAP achieves14.03%(up to 33.82%)higher prefetching accuracy and2.01%(up to 7.54%)higher hit rate compared with the best combination of baselines.GUO Chang LI Ying LIU Hongzhi WU Zhonghai 2019Chinese Journal of Electronics2019,28,4:4
9Algorithm for Calculating Torque Base in Vehicle Traction Control System显示文摘Existing research on the traction control system(TCS) mainly focuses on control methods, such as the PID control, fuzzy logic control, etc, aiming at achieving an ideal slip rate of the drive wheel over long control periods. The initial output of the TCS (referred to as the torque base in this paper), which has a great impact on the driving performance of the vehicle in early cycles, remains to be investigated. In order to improve the control performance of the TCS in the first several cycles, an algorithm is proposed to determine the torque base. First, torque bases are calculated by two different methods, one based on states judgment and the other based on the vehicle dynamics. The confidence level of the torque base calculated based on the vehicle dynamics is also obtained. The final torque base is then determined based on the two torque bases and the confidence level. Hardware-in-the-loop(HIL) simulation and vehicle tests emulating sudden start on low friction roads have been conducted to verify the proposed algorithm. The control performance of a PID-controlled TCS with and without the proposed torque base algorithm is compared, showing that the proposed algorithm improves the performance of the TCS over the first several cycles and enhances about 5% vehicle speed by contrast. 11Arsenic concentration in peripheral blood is correlated with efficacy of a Traditional Chinese Medicine regimen containing realgar for the treatment of myelodysplastic syndromes显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To explore the relationship between the efficacy of realgar for the treatment of myelodysplastic syndromes with multilineage dysplasia(MDS-MLD)and arsenic concentration in the peripheral blood of patients.METHODS:In this prospective study,a total of 50 MDS-MLD patients were treated with traditional Chinese drugs containing realgar for 3 months in Xiyuan Hospital from March 2018 to January 2019.Routine blood examination as well as liver and kidney function were monitored before and after treatment.The concentration of arsenic in the peripheral blood was measured using an atomic fluorescence spectrometer after treatment.The correlation between clinical effect and arsenic concentration was analyzed by Spearman’s method.RESULTS:The treatment response rate was 54%.Two patients(4%)achieved complete remission,50%(25 of 50)showed hematologic improvement,and 23 patients had stable disease(23%).No disease progression was observed.Arsenic concentration in the peripheral blood ranged from 14.60 to 85.96μg/L.Clinical efficacy was positively correlated with arsenic concentration(P<0.05).The incidence of mild adverse reactions was 16%.CONCLUSION:A relatively high concentration of arsenic in the peripheral blood may improve the clinical efficacy of realgar in MDS-MLD patients.WANG Dexiu XU Yonggang DU Yu WANG Hongzhi LI Liu HU Xiaomei YANG Xiupeng MA Rou ZHOU Qingbing 2021Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,4:3

13Metabolic regulation of T cell development by Sinl-mTORC2 is mediated by pyruvate kinase M2显示文摘Glucose metabolism plays a key role in thymocyte development. The mammalian target of rapamycin complex 2 (mT0RC2) is a critical regulator of cell growth and metabolism, but its role in early thymocyte development and metabolism has not been fully studied. We show here that genetic ablation of Sinl, an essential component of mTORC2, in T lineage cells results in severely impaired thymocyte development at the CD4^- CD8^- double negative (DN) stages but not at the CD4^+ CD8^+ double positive (DP) or later stages. Notably, Sinl-deficient DN thymocytes show markedly reduced proliferation and glycolysis.Importantly, we discover that the M2 isoform of pyruvate kinase (PKM2) is a novel and crucial Sinl effector in promoting DN thymocyte development and metabolism. At the molecular level, we show that Sinl-mTORC2 controls PKM2 expression through an AKT-dependent PPAR-y nuclear translocation. 15MAP3K2 augments Th1 cell differentiation via IL-18 to promote T cell-mediated colitis显示文摘T cell-mediated immunity in the intestine is stringently controlled to ensure proper immunity against pathogenic microbes and to prevent autoimmunity,a known cause of inflammatory bowel disease.However,precisely how T cells regulate intestine immunity remains to be fully understood.In this study,we found that mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 2(MAP3K2)is required for the CD4^(+)T cell-mediated inflammation in the intestine.Using a T cell transfer colitis model,we found that MAP3K2-deficient naïve CD4^(+)T cells had a dramatically reduced ability to induce colitis compared to wild type T cells.In addition,significantly fewer IFN-γ-but more IL-17A-producing CD4^(+)T cells in the intestines of mice receiving MAP3K2-deficient T cells than in those from mice receiving wild type T cells was observed.Interestingly,under well-defined in vitro differentiation conditions,MAP3K2-deficient naïve T cells were not impaired in their ability to differentiate into Th1,Th17 and Treg.Furthermore,the MAP3K2-regulated colitis severity was mediated by Th1 but not Th17 cells in the intestine.At the molecular level,we showed that MAP3K2-mediated Th1 cell differentiation in the intestine was regulated by IL-18 and required specific JNK activation.Together,our study reveals a novel regulatory role of MAP3K2 in intestinal T cell immunity via the IL-18-MAP3K2-JNK axis and may provide a novel target for intervention in T cell-mediated colitis.Ningbo Wu Dongping Chen Hongxiang Sun Jianmei Tan Yao Zhang Tianyu Zhang Yuheng Han Hongzhi Liu Xinxing Ouyang Xiao-Dong Yang Xiaoyin Niu Jie Zhong Zhengting Wang Bing Su 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,3:3
16A novel humanized MUC1 antibody–drug conjugate for the treatment of trastuzumab-resistant breast cancer显示文摘Mucin 1(MUC1)has been regarded as an ideal target for cancer treatment,since it is overexpressed in a variety of different cancers including the majority of breast cancer.However,there are still no approved monoclonal antibody drugs targeting MUC1.In this study,we generated a humanized MUC1(HzMUC1)antibody from our previously developed MUC1 mouse monoclonal antibody that only recognizes MUC1 on the surface of tumor cells.Furthermore,an antibody–drug conjugate(ADC)was generated by conjugating HzMUC1 with monomethyl auristatin(MMAE),&the efficacy of HzMUC1-MMAE on the MUC1-positive HER2+breast cancer in vitro&in‘Xenograft’model was tested.Results from western blot analysis&immunoprecipitation revealed that the HzMUC1 antibody did not recognize cell-free MUC1-N in sera from breast cancer patients.Confocal microscopy analysis showed that HzMUC1 antibody bound to MUC1 on the surface of breast cancer cells.Results from mapping experiments suggested that HzMUC1 may recognize an epitope present in the interaction region between MUC1-N and MUC1-C.Results from colony formation assay&flow cytometry demonstrated that HzMUC1-MMAE significantly inhibited cell growth by inducing G2/M cell cycle arrest&apoptosis in trastuzumab-resistant HER2-positive breast cancer cells.Meanwhile,HzMUC1-MMAE significantly reduced the growth of HCC1954 xenograft tumors by inhibiting cell proliferation&enhancing cell death.In conclusion,our results indicate that HzMUC1-ADC is a novel therapeutic drug that can overcome trastuzumab resistance of breast cancer.HzMUC1-ADC should also be an effective therapeutic drug for the treatment of different MUC1-positive cancers in clinic.Guang Wu Lan Li Yuxin Qiu Wei Sun Tianhao Ren Yingshuai Lv Mengnan Liu Xiaoxia Wang Hongqun Tao Lingjie Zhao Jiawei Cao Licai He Hongzhi Li Haihua Gu 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,12:2
17Cross-task emotion recognition using EEG measures: first step towards practical application显示文摘Electroencephalographic(EEG)-based emotion recognition has received increasing attention in the field of human-computer interaction(HCI)recently,there however remains a number of challenges in building a generalized emotion recognition model,one of which includes the difficulty of an EEG-based emotion classifier trained on a specific task to handle other tasks.Lit-tle attention has been paid to this issue.The current study is to determine the feasibility of coping with this challenge using feature selection.12 healthy volunteers were emotionally elicited when conducting picture induced and videoinduced tasks.Firstly,support vector machine(SVM)classifier was examined under within-task conditions(trained and tested on the same task)and cross-task conditions(trained on one task and tested on another task)for pictureinduced and videoinduced tasks.The within-task classification performed fairly well(classification accuracy:51.6%for picture task and 94.4%for video task).Cross-task classification,however,deteriorated to low levels(around 44%).Trained and tested with the most robust feature subset selected by SVM-recursive feature elimination(RFE),the performance of cross-task classifier was significantly improved to above 68%.These results suggest that cross-task emotion recognition is feasible with proper methods and bring EEG-based emotion recognition models closer to being able to discriminate emotion states for any tasks.LIU Shuang MENG Jiayuan ZHAO Xin YANG Jiajia HE Feng QI Hongzhi ZHOU Peng HU Yong MING Dong 2014Instrumentation2014,1,3:2

19Enhanced strength and ductility in Ti46Al4Nb1Mo alloys via boron addition显示文摘To improve the strength and ductility of Ti Al alloys by second phase, Ti46 Al4 Nb1 Mo alloys doped with different B content(0.4%, 0.8%, 1.2%, 1.6% and 2.0%, atomic percent, hereafter in at.%, referred to as TNMx B) were prepared. Macro/microstructure evolution, mechanical properties and deformation mechanisms of the alloys were studied systematically. Results showed that the microstructure of TNM-0.4 B and TNM-0.8 B alloy remained columnar dendrites, and the secondary dendritic arms of columnar grains were more obvious. When the content of B is 1.2%, the columnar dendrites transformed to equiaxed grains, and theα2/γ lamellae colony size was further refined in TNM-1.6 B and TNM-2.0 B alloy. The morphologies and kinds of the borides were changed with increasing B content, XRD results showed that Ti B phase appeared with 1.6%B content, and both Ti B and Ti B2 phase formed in TNM-2.0 B alloy. There were straight and curved Ti B phases located around grain boundaries in TNM-0.4 B and TNM-0.8 B alloy, and when the content of B increased to 1.2%, the curved Ti B phases were reduced, while the tiny and straight Ti B phases increased. With further increasing B content to 1.6% and 2.0%, the tiny and straight Ti B phases were coarser. Compressive testing results showed that the mechanical properties of the TNM alloy were enhanced with increasing B content. The maximum strength and strain of TNM alloy were 2339 MPa and33.7% with 1.6% B addition. 20High-energy-density gelled fuels with high stability and shear thinning performance显示文摘Gelled fuels are the very promising propellants for new-generation rocket and ramjet propulsion.Here we report a new type of low-molecular mass organic gellant(Z),and prepared four kinds of stable gelled fuels based on HD-01,HD-03,RP-3 and QC liquid fuels,with the critical gellant concentration less than 1%(mass).The characterizations show that the gellant can form 3D network structure,via hydrogen bonding,π-πstacking and van der Waals forces,to fix fuel molecules during the formation of gelled fuels.So,the gelled fuels show high stability,with the remaining gel mass of 0.25%(mass)Z/HD-01 more than 90%even at high centrifugal speed of 7500 r·min^(-1),but the rheological property test shows that all gelled fuels have obvious shear thinning property,which benefits its storage in gelled state while supply in liquid state.The gelation of liquid fuels by gellant Z can increase the volumetric net heat of combustion(for HD-01,it increases from 39.58 MJ·L^(-1) to 40.76 MJ·L^(-1) with 1%(mass)Z),and liquefied gelled fuels show the comparable ignition delay time with the pristine liquid fuels.So,the gelled fuels made by gellant Z have better stability,shear thinning and combustion performances,which have great potential for the practical application.Yang Liu Hongzhi Zhang Lun Pan Kang Xue Xiangwen Zhang Ji-Jun Zou 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,3:2
