| 1 | Metamodel-based Global Optimization Using Fuzzy Clustering for Design Space Reduction显示文摘High fidelity analysis are utilized in modern engineering design optimization problems which involve expensive black-box models.For computation-intensive engineering design problems,efficient global optimization methods must be developed to relieve the computational burden.A new metamodel-based global optimization method using fuzzy clustering for design space reduction(MGO-FCR) is presented.The uniformly distributed initial sample points are generated by Latin hypercube design to construct the radial basis function metamodel,whose accuracy is improved with increasing number of sample points gradually.Fuzzy c-mean method and Gath-Geva clustering method are applied to divide the design space into several small interesting cluster spaces for low and high dimensional problems respectively.Modeling efficiency and accuracy are directly related to the design space,so unconcerned spaces are eliminated by the proposed reduction principle and two pseudo reduction algorithms.The reduction principle is developed to determine whether the current design space should be reduced and which space is eliminated.The first pseudo reduction algorithm improves the speed of clustering,while the second pseudo reduction algorithm ensures the design space to be reduced.Through several numerical benchmark functions,comparative studies with adaptive response surface method,approximated unimodal region elimination method and mode-pursuing sampling are carried out.The optimization results reveal that this method captures the real global optimum for all the numerical benchmark functions.And the number of function evaluations show that the efficiency of this method is favorable especially for high dimensional problems.Based on this global design optimization method,a design optimization of a lifting surface in high speed flow is carried out and this method saves about 10 h compared with genetic algorithms.This method possesses favorable performance on efficiency,robustness and capability of global convergence and gives a new optimization strategy for engineering design optimization problems involving expensive black box models. | LI Yulin LIU Li LONG Teng DONG Weili | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2013,26,5: | 13 |
| 2 | Export competitiveness of agricultural products and agricultural sustainability in China显示文摘The competitiveness of a country’s agricultural products is not only related to its capacity to export agricultural products,but also to the sustainability of its agricultural sector.How to improve the international competitiveness of a country’s agricultural products while maintaining the sustainability of its agricultural sector is a practical problem of great urgency for a country with a large agricultural sector such as China.With this in mind,this study should have a considerable policy and practical significance.We used two evaluation indices,namely trade competitiveness(TC)index and revealed comparative advantage(RCA)index,to measure and analyze the international competitiveness of six China’s representative agricultural products,i.e.,live pigs,live chickens,live cattle,apples,tea,and beer,and to examine the changing trends of these products’competitiveness during 1994-2013.The results indicate that the export competitiveness of China’s agricultural products is weak and likely to deteriorate further.However,some traditional agricultural products with distinctive regional characteristics,for example,tea and live pigs,are relatively strong internationally.To this end,China should vigorously promote the production and foreign trade in traditional agricultural products with distinctive regional characteristics.At the same time,comprehensive measures should be taken to enhance the international competitiveness of disadvantaged agricultural products. | LONG Yulin | 2021 | Regional Sustainability2021,2,3: | 2 |
| 3 | Oxygen vacancies enriched nickel cobalt based nanoflower cathodes: Mechanism and application of the enhanced energy storage显示文摘The rational design of oxygen vacancies and electronic microstructures of electrode materials for energy storage devices still remains a challenge. Herein, we synthesize nickel cobalt-based oxides nanoflower arrays assembled with nanowires grown on Ni foam via the hydrothermal process followed annealing process in air and argon atmospheres respectively. It is found that the annealing atmosphere has a vital influence on the oxygen vacancies and electronic microstructures of resulting NiCo_(2)O_(4) (NCO-Air) and CoNiO_(2) (NCO-Ar) products, which NCO-Ar has more oxygen vacancies and larger specific surface area of 163.48 m^(2)/g. The density functional theory calculation reveals that more oxygen vacancies can provide more electrons to adsorb –OH free anions resulting in superior electrochemical energy storage performance. Therefore, the assembled asymmetric supercapacitor of NCO-Ar//active carbon delivers an excellent energy density of 112.52 Wh/kg at a power density of 558.73 W/kg and the fabricated NCO-Ar//Zn battery presents the specific capacity of 180.20 mAh/g and energy density of 308.14 Wh/kg. | 7 | 2-21 Attempt to Study the a-decay of 216U by 40Ca+natHf Reaction显示文摘An attempt has been made recently to synthesize very neutron-decient 216U isotope in 40Ca+natHf reaction atthe gas-lled recoil separator SHANS[1]. A beam of 40Ca12+ at an energy of Elab=194.6 MeV was delivered by thesector focusing cyclotron of the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou (HIRFL). The average beam intensity wasabout 100 pnA. Self-support targets of natural hafnium foils with thickness of 420 g/cm2 was mounted in a edframe. Evaporation residues recoiled from the target were separated from the primary beam by the separator andthen implanted into the Si-box detector (consist of three position sensitive silicon detectors and eight non-positionsensitive silicon detectors)[2]. In order to distinguish the -decay events from the implantation events, two multi-wire proportional counters (MWPCs) were mounted upstream from the Si-box detector. | 8 | Research on Influence of Guilin Topography on Haze显示文摘This paper analyzed space-time distribution features of haze at different topographical representative stations using haze days observation data of 50 years in different meteorological observatories of Guilin to study the topography influence on haze. Different topographical representative stations were classified into four types of mountain,hill,river and city. Mountain stations were classified into two types,surrounded by mountains and faced with mountains on two sides. Under parallel comparison method,change features of wind direction,wind speed,temperature and haze days at different meteorological observatories were analyzed to investigate the topography influence on haze with pollution increase factors excluded. The study found that the city station had the biggest haze occurrence rate,followed by the mountain station surrounded by the mountains,and the river station had the smallest haze occurrence rate. | 15 | Linear Power Amplifier Modeling Based on Predistortion Technology显示文摘Different power amplifier(PA) models have their own effects on PA linearization. In this paper, the nonlinear characteristic of the radio frequency power amplifier(RF PA) is simulated based on the two models combining predistortion technology, and the nonlinear effects of the two models are analyzed, respectively. The simulation results show that Power Series model normalized mean square error(NMSE) is-37.8 d B, which is less than Power Series model-30.4 d B before loading predistortion technology. NMSE of the two systems are-23.4 d B and-26.0 d B respectively, while Saleh model compensates better than the Power Series model combing predistortion technology. The error vector magnitude(EVM) of Power Series model is only 6.75%, whereas the Saleh model EVM is 9.99%, indicating that Power Series model can better describe the nonlinear characteristic of PA.
