| 1 | A first-principles study of site occupancy and interfacial energetics of an H-doped TiAl-Ti_3 Al alloy显示文摘We investigate the site occupancy and the interfacial energetics of TiAl-Ti 3 Al binary-phase system with H using a first-principles method.H energetically prefers to occupy the Ti-rich octahedral interstitial site because H prefers to bond with Ti rather than with Al.The occupancy tendency of H in the binary phase TiAl-Ti 3 Al alloy from high to low is 2-Ti 3 Al to/2 interface and-TiAl,because the decrease of the Ti local concentration is in the same order.We demonstrate that H can largely affect the mechanical properties of the TiAl-Ti 3 Al system.On the one hand,H at the interface reduces the interface energy with the H 2 molecule as a reference,implying the TiAl/Ti 3 Al interface is stabilized.On the other hand,the ratio between the cleavage energy and the unstable stacking fault energy decreases after H-doping,indicating H will reduce the ductility of the TiAl/Ti 3 Al interface.Consequently,the mechanical property variation of TiAl alloy due to the presence of H not only depends on the amount of TiAl/Ti 3 Al interfaces but also is related to the H concentration in the alloy. | WEI Ye ZHANG Ying LU GuangHong XU HuiBin | 2012 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,2: | 8 |

| 5 | Identification of the metabolites of polybrominated diphenyl ether 99 and its related cytochrome P450s显示文摘Objective:To investigate the metabolites of polybrominated diphenyl ether 99(BDE-99)and its related cytochrome P450s in an in vitro system.Methods:Rat primary hepatocytes were isolated and treated with BDE-99 for 24-72 h.Metabolites were then extracted from the hepatocytes and media,and detected by GC/MS.Several mRNAs of metabolic enzymes were also extracted from the same cells and the gene expression levels were determined using quantitative real-time PCR.In addition,selected recombinant cytochrome P450s(CYPs) were expressed in a bacurovirus/sf9 system,and these were further used to explore the metabolism of BDE-99 in vitro.The parent depletion approach was used for screening the ability of CYPs to eliminate BDE-99.Results: A reductively debrominated metabolite,BDE-47,and three oxidative metabolites,2,4,5-tribromophenol,5-OH-BDE-47,and 5'-OH-BDE-99,were identified from the BDE-99-treated rat hepatocytes,whereas no MeO metabolite was detected in the system.RT-PCR analysis showed that CYP 3A23/3A1,1A2,and 2B1/2 were induced by BDE-99.Furthermore,using the heterological expressed CYP proteins in in vitro BDE-99 metabolism experiments we found that CYP1A2 and CYP3A4 showed the highest metabolic efficiency for BDE-99,with the metabolic clearance rates of CYP1A2 and CYP3A4 being 30.3%and 27.7%,respectively.CYP1A1 and CYP2A6 displayed relatively low clearance rates,while CYP2E1 seemed not to be associated with the BDE-99 metabolism.Conclusions:In our in vitro rat primary hepatocyte metabolism system,four metabolites of BDE-99 were identified,and CYP3A4 and CYP1A2 were demonstrated to be involved in the BDE-99 metabolism. | Huibin Dong Ziyin Li Xiaoming Man Jingping Zhou Huiyuan Lu Shoulin Wang | 2010 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2010,24,3: | 2 |
| 6 | Colossal magnetoresistance and spin-glass properties of La(1-x)TexMnO3(x=0.04,0.1)显示文摘For the first time, a novel material of La1-x- TexMnO3 (x = 0.04, 0.1), in which the La ions are replaced by the nonmetal element Te in the Chalcogen, has been synthesized. The material has a rhombohedral lattice with the space group of R3c, and Te ions have a tetravalence state. The curves of the resistivity vs. temperature indicate that this material has the property of a metal-semiconductor transition and the colossal magnetoresistance (CMR) effect. The maximum magnetoreistance ratio MR=[(0)()]/(0)H? is about 51% at 4 T for x = 0.1. | 8 | Isothermal Oxidation Behavior of Dysprosium/S-Doped β-NiAl Alloys at 1200°C显示文摘A β-NiAl alloy with normal purity, a S-doped and a Dy and S co-doped b-NiAl alloys were prepared by arc-melting and their corresponding S contents were less than 20×10 6, 33×10-6 and 22×10-6, respectively. The isothermal oxidation behavior of the alloys at 1200° C was investigated and the extent of S segregation at the scalee alloy interface was determined by scanning Auger microscopy. S-doping had no significant effect on the phase transformation rate from q- to a-Al2O3, while the addition of Dy retarded this process. For the Sdoped alloy, scale rumpling occurred only after 2 h thermal exposure and numerous large voids were observed at the scalee alloy interface where S segregated. | 11 | High sensitive and ultrafast UV photodetector based on ZrO_2 single crystals显示文摘The fast-response ultraviolet (UV) photoelectric effect in ZrO2 single crystals with interdigitated electrodes has been investigated experimentally at room temperature. The photovoltage of ZrO2 single crystals exhibits a linear dependence on applied bias and light power density. The photocurrent responsivity to the UV light with a wavelength of 253.65 nm is 9.8 mA/W. For the photovoltaic pulse, a rise time of 501 ps and a full width at half maximum of 1.5 ns have been obtained, when the ZrO2 single crystal is illuminated by a 266 nm pulsed laser. X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy reveal that Fe, Fe3BO4, γ -Fe2BO3B and FeO coexist in the films. High resolution transmission electron microscopy shows the well-defined colum- nar grain structure with the unoxidized Fe as the core and iron-oxide as the shell. The low-field positive and high-field negative magnetoresistances coexist in such a system at room temperature, which can be explained by considering a shell/core model. | 16 | High resistance modulation by the electric field based on La_(0.9)Sr_(0.1)MnO_3/SrTiO_3/Si structure显示文摘A field-effect configuration based on La0.9Sr0.1MnO3/SrTiO3/Si structure is fabricated on Si substrate by laser molecular-beam epitaxy. The resistance modulation by electric field of the La0.9Sr0.1MnO3/SrTiO3/Si structure is investigated in detail. An evident resistance modulation effect is observed at 80 K. The channel resistance modulation by field effect reaches 1.4×107% and 2.6×106% when VDS are -2 and -6.5 V, respectively. The ON/OFF ratio of approximately 4000 is obtained.
