| 1 | Progress on design and related R&D activities for the water-cooled breeder blanket for CFETR显示文摘The water-cooled ceramic breeder (WCCB) blanket is one of the blanket candidates for Chinese fusion engineering testing reactor (CFETR) and is being developed at the Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ASIPP). This paper reviews design and evolution of the WCCB blanket for CFETR, and presents a new WCCB blanket design according to the latest CFETR core parameters (major and minor radii are R = 7.2 m and a = 2.2 m, respectively) and missions. This new design is expected to satisfy multiple CFETR operation modes of 0.2, 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5 GW fusion power and achieve tritium self-sufficiency. The feasibility of the updated blanket design is evaluated from the aspects of neutronics and thermo-hydraulics. | 2 | Low-complexity method for DOA estimation based on ESPRIT显示文摘A low-complexity method for direction of arrival(DOA) estimation based on estimation signal parameters via rotational invariance technique(ESPRIT) is proposed.Instead of using the cross-correlation vectors in multistage Wiener filter(MSWF),the orthogonal residual vectors obtained in conjugate gradient(CG) method span the signal subspace used by ESPRIT.The computational complexity of the proposed method is significantly reduced,since the signal subspace estimation mainly needs two matrixvector complex multiplications at the iteration of data level.Furthermore,the prior training data are not needed in the proposed method.To overcome performance degradation at low signal to noise ratio(SNR),the expanded signal subspace spanned by more basis vectors is used and simultaneously renders ESPRIT yield redundant DOAs,which can be excluded by performing ESPRIT once more using the unexpanded signal subspace.Compared with the traditional ESPRIT methods by MSWF and eigenvalue decomposition(EVD),numerical results demonstrate the satisfactory performance of the proposed method. | Xuebin Zhuang Xiaowei Cui Mingquan Lu Zhenming Feng | 2010 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2010,21,5: | 6 |

| 4 | Numerically stable method of signal subspace estimation based on multistage Wiener filter显示文摘In this paper,a numerically stable method of signal subspace estimation based on Householder multistage Wiener filter(HMSWF) is proposed.Numerical stability of the method lies on the fact that the Householder matrix in HMSWF ensures the unitary blocking operation and significantly strengthens the orthogonality of basis vectors,especially in the finite-precision implementation.In the following,we analyze the numerical stability of HMSWF and MSWF based on the correlation subtractive structure(CSS-MSWF) by establishing the equivalence between the forward recursion of MSWF and the Arnoldi algorithm in numerical linear algebra.Besides,the equivalence between HMSWF and the Householder QR decomposition(QRD) on the Krylov matrix underlying in MSWF is directly established.Based on the relationship,two theoretical upper bounds of the orthogonality error of basis vectors in signal subspace are obtained and it is demonstrated that the orthogonality of basis vectors based on HMSWF is perfectly preserved by the numerically well-behaved Householder matrix,and the corresponding signal subspace estimation is much more numerically stable than that based on CSS-MSWF.Simulations show the numerical stability of the proposed method of signal subspace estimation by HMSWF. | ZHUANG XueBin CUI XiaoWei LU MingQuan FENG ZhenMing | 2010 | Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,12: | 4 |
| 5 | Characteristics and distribution patterns of reef complexes on the carbonate platform margin in deep water areas:the western South China Sea显示文摘As a potential oil and gas reservoir,reef complexes have been a research focus from petroleum geologists for a long time.There are favorable conditions for the development of reef complexes in the South China Sea; however,their internal structures,evolution and distribution are still poorly understood.Based on 2D and 3D seismic data,the internal structures and evolution patterns of the reef complexes on the carbonate platform margin in the deep water areas over the western South China Sea were studied in detail.The result shows that two types of reef complexes,i.e.,fault controlling platform margin reef complexes and ramp reef complexes have been developed in the study area.The reef complexes have independent or continuous mound or lenticular seismic reflections,with three internal structures(i.e.,aggrading,prograding and retrograding structures).There are different growth rates during the evolution of the reef complexes,resulting in the formation of catch-up reefs,keep-up reefs and quick step reefs.The study also reveals that different platform margin reef complexes have different internal structures and distributions,because of the different platform types.These results may be applied to the exploration and prediction of carbonate platform margin reef complexes in other areas that are similar to the study area. | CHEN Ping LI Xushen WANG Yahui LU Yongchao ZHONG Zehong CHEN Lei ZUO Qianmei MA Yiquan WANG Chao DU Xuebin | 2015 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2015,34,10: | 3 |

| 8 | Evaluation of the toxicity of fluorine in Antarctic krill on soft tissues of Wistar rats显示文摘Antarctic krill are a potential food source for humans and animals, but krill are known to contain high levels of fluorine (F). In this study, we investigated the toxicity of F in Antarctic krill using Wistar rats. There were three experimental groups: The control group were fed a basal diet, the krill treatment group were fed the same basal diet mixed with krill powder (150 mg·kg-1 F), and the sodium fluoride (NaF) treatment group were fed the basal diet with added NaF (150 mg·kg-1 F). General toxicity indicators including body weight and food intake were measured during the experiment. After three months the rats were dissected and tissue samples were collected from the liver, kidney, spleen, brain, and testis. Morphological changes in the cells of these tissues were assessed using HE staining. There were no significant differences in the body weight, the food intake, or the viscera coefficients among the three groups. In both treatment groups some pathological changes were observed in all soft tissue samples except the testis, although there were fewer and less severe pathological changes in the krill treatment group than in the NaF treatment group. The results showed that the toxicity of F in Antarctic krill was lower than for an equivalent amount of F in NaF, but it was still toxic to rats consuming large quantities of krill. | 9 | New Seismic Attribute Technology for Predicting Dissolved Pore-Fracture of Deeply Buried Platform Margin Reef-Beach System in Northeast Sichuan Basin, China显示文摘The large reef complexes of the Upper Permian Changxing Formation, with a significant breakthrough for petroleum exploration, are an important target for petroleum exploration in the Yuanba area of the Sichuan Basin in SW China. The storage space types of reef complexes are dominated by the dissolved pore-fracture(DPF). However, using only single geophysical methods, it is difficult to predict effective distribution of DPF. Based on a combination of geological models and geophysics technology, this study proposes two new geophysical methods, including anisotropy coherence technique(ACT) and fracture intensity inversion(FII), to research the characteristics of DPF by faciescontrolling in Changxing Formation in Yuanba area. Two major findings are presented as follows:(1) the characteristics of DPF varying with facies are the result of different diagenetic and petrophysical property. The intensity of DPF decreases from reef and bioclastic bank to interbank sea and slope;(2) ACT can qualitatively identify the distribution of DPF with no-directional and dispersed distribution, while FII can quantitatively characterize the intensity of DPF development within various sedimentary facies.
