1The PI3K/Akt/GSK-3β/ROS/eIF2B pathway promotes breast cancer growth and metastasis via suppression of NK cell cytotoxicity and tumor cell susceptibility显示文摘Objective: To examine the effect of pSer9-GSK-3β on breast cancer and to determine whether the underlying metabolic and immunological mechanism is associated with ROS/eIF2B and natural killer(NK) cells.Methods: We employed TWS119 to inactivate GSK-3β by phosphorylating Ser9 and explored its effect on breast cancer and NK cells. The expression of GSK-3β, natural killer group 2 member D(NKG2D) ligands, eIF2B was quantified by PCR and Western blot. We measured intracellular reactive oxygen species(ROS) and mitochondrial ROS using DCFH-DA and MitoSOX^(TM) probe,respectively, and conducted quantitative analysis of cellular respiration on 4T1 cells with mitochondrial respiratory chain complex Ⅰ/Ⅲ kits.Results: Our investigation revealed that TWS119 downregulated NKG2D ligands(H60 a and Rae1), suppressed the cytotoxicity of NK cells, and promoted the migration of 4T1 murine breast cancer cells. Nevertheless, LY290042, which attenuates p-GSK-3β formation by inhibiting the PI3K/Akt pathway, reversed these effects. We also found that higher expression of p Ser9-GSK-3β induced higher levels of ROS, and observed that abnormality of mitochondrial respiratory chain complex Ⅰ/Ⅲ function induced the dysfunction of GSK-3β-induced electron transport chain, naturally disturbing the ROS level. In addition, the expression of NOX3 and NOX4 was significantly up-regulated, which affected the generation of ROS and associated with the metastasis of breast cancer. Furthermore, we found that the expression of pSer535-eIF2B promoted the expression of NKG2D ligands(Mult-1 and Rae1) following by expression of pSer9-GSK-3β and generation of ROS.Conclusions: The PI3K/Akt/GSK-3β/ROS/eIF2B pathway could regulate NK cell activity and sensitivity of tumor cells to NK cells,which resulted in breast cancer growth and lung metastasis. 3Generation of B Cell-Deficient Pigs by Highly Efficient CRISPR/Cas9-Mediated Gene Targeting显示文摘Generating B cell-deficient mutant is the first step to produce human antibody repertoires in large animal models. In this study, we applied the clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeat(CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated(Cas) system to target the JHregion of the pig Ig M heavy chain gene which is crucial for B cell development and differentiation. Transfection of Ig M-targeting Cas9 plasmid in primary porcine fetal fibroblasts(PFFs) enabled inducing gene knock out(KO) in up to 53.3% of colonies analyzed, a quarter of which harbored biallelic modification, which was much higher than that of the traditional homologous recombination(HR). With the aid of somatic cell nuclear transfer(SCNT) technology, three piglets with the biallelic Ig M heavy chain gene mutation were produced. The piglets showed no antibody-producing B cells which indicated that the biallelic mutation of the Ig M heavy chain gene effectively knocked out the function of the Ig M and resulted in a B cell-deficient phenotype. 5A Study on Spatial Interpolation of Temperature in Anhui Province Based on ANUSPLIN显示文摘To achieve refined temperature grid data with high accuracy and high spatial resolution,hourly temperature grid dataset with spatial resolution of 1 km in Anhui Province from January to December in 2016 was established using the ANUSPLIN thin plate spline algorithm,which meets the needs of climate change research and meteorological disaster risk assessment. And the interpolation error was analyzed. The results show that the interpolated values of hourly temperature by ANUSPLIN are close to the observed values in 2016. The error is generally below 1. 5 ℃,and the root mean square error is 0. 937 6 ℃. On monthly scale,the interpolated values of hourly temperature by ANUSPLIN are also close to the observed values.In October,November,June and May,the interpolation accuracy is the highest,and the proportion of absolute error of hourly temperature lower than 2 ℃ is up to 99%,97. 4%,98. 1% and 97. 4% respectively. In February,March,August and December,the interpolation accuracy is the lowest,and the proportion of absolute error higher than 2 ℃ is 8. 1%,5. 3%,4. 1% and 4. 2% respectively. 7Photocatalytic decompositions of gaseous HCHO and methylene blue with highly ordered TiO_2 nanotube arrays显示文摘The highly ordered Ti O_2nanotubes(NTs) were fabricated by the anodic oxidation method.Their morphology,structure and crystalline phase were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and X-ray diffractometer(XRD).The effects of morphology,specific surface area,pore structures and photocatalytic activity of the Ti O_2 NTs were investigated.UV–vis spectra analysis showed that its light absorption had been extended to the visible light range.The photocatalytic activity of the as-prepared samples was evaluated by photocatalytic oxidation of gaseous HCHO and MB aqueous solution.The samples had better adhesion strength in the dark and showed a higher photocatalytic activity than nanoparticles.Especially,with ultraviolet light pretreatment,the nanotubes exhibited more stable active for photocatalytic decomposition and the photodecomposition rate remained at high level after 3 cycles of the photocatalysis experiment.Thus,how the number of surface active group ·OH increased and the mechanism for the great improvement for the photocatalytic activity are discussed.Lixia Li Jing Ya Fengjiao Hu Zhifeng Liu Lei E 2016Journal of Energy Chemistry2016,25,4:2
8Controllable Biosynthesis and Properties of Gold Nanoplates Using Yeast Extract显示文摘Biosynthesis of gold nanostructures has drawn increasing concerns because of its green and sustainable synthetic process. However, biosynthesis of gold nanoplates is still a challenge because of the expensive source and difficulties of controllable formation of morphology and size. Herein, one-pot biosynthesis of gold nanoplates is proposed, in which cheap yeast was extracted as a green precursor. The morphologies and sizes of the gold nanostructures can be controlled via varying the pH value of the biomedium. In acid condition, gold nanoplates with side length from 1300 ± 200 to 300 ± 100 nm and height from 18 to 15 nm were obtained by increasing the pH value. Whereas, in neutral or basic condition, only gold nanoflowers and nanoparticles were obtained. It was determined that organic molecules, such as succinic acid, lactic acid, malic acid, and glutathione, which are generated in metabolism process, played important role in the reduction of gold ions. 9A New Indicator for Global Food Security Assessment: Harvested Area Rather Than Cropland Area显示文摘Cropland area has long been used as a key indicator of food security.However,grain yield is not solely controlled by the area of the cropland.Therefore,we proposed a new indicator to assess food security.Results show that from 1992 to 2004,the global cropland area increased by 840200 km^(2)(99.4%),but the grain yield increased only by 310 million t(29.1%);and from 2004 to 2015,the cropland area decreased by 39000 km^(2)(4.64%),but the grain yield increased by 370 million t(70.84%).This result showed that grain yield was not linearly correlated with cropland area,and delimiting the threshold of cropland protection may not guarantee food security.Combined with further correlation analysis,we found that the increase in the global grain yield was more closely related to the harvested area(R^(2)=0.94),which indicated that the harvested area is a more scientific and accurate indicator than cropland area in terms of guaranteeing food security.Therefore,if governments want to ensure the food security,they should choose a new and more accurate indicator:harvested area rather than cropland area.SONG Fengjiao WANG Shijie BAI Xiaoyong WU Luhua WANG Jinfeng LI Chaojun CHEN Huan LUO Xuling XI Huipeng ZHANG Sirui LUO Guofeng YAN Mengqi ZHEN Qingqing 2022Chinese Geographical Science2022,32,2:2

12Effect of Mn doping on the microstructure and magnetic properties of CuFeO2 ceramics显示文摘The effects of Mn doping on the microstructure and magnetic properties of CuFeO2 systems were studied using X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and a physical property measurement method.The microstructure measurements demonstrated that the substitution of Mn for Fe can cause lattice distortion,promote grain growth,and change the valence state of Fe and Mn ions.Ceramic samples with doping content x=0.00−0.03 exhibited two successive magnetic transition temperature(TN)at TN1≈14 K and TN2≈10 K.TN decreased gradually with the Mn4+content,and TN2 was not observed in the x>0.05 samples within a temperature range of T=5−300 K.Magnetic hysteresis loops revealed that only anti-ferromagnetic behavior occurred in the low-doped samples(x=0.00−0.03),and the coexistence of ferromagnetism and anti-ferromagnetism was observed in the high-doped samples(x=0.05−0.10).Besides,the x=0.10 sample had a maximum magnetization of 5.98 emu/g.This study provides basic experimental data for investigating the relationship between the microstructure and magnetic properties of CuFeO2 systems.Fengjiao Ye Haiyang Dai Ke Peng Tao Li Jing Chen Zhenping Chen Nannan Li 2020Journal of Advanced Ceramics2020,9,4:2

14A Study on Precipitation Products with High Resolution in Anhui Province Based on Thin Plate Smoothing Spline显示文摘In order to achieve refined precipitation grid data with high accuracy and high spatial resolution,hourly precipitation grid dataset with 1 km spatial resolution in Anhui Province from May to September (in the rainy season) in 2016 and from August 2017 to July 2018 was established based on thin plate smoothing spline (TPS),which meets the needs of climate change research and meteorological disaster risk assessment.The interpolation errors were then analyzed.The grid precipitation product obtained based on thin plate smoothing spline,CLDAS-FAST and CLDAS-FRT were evaluated.The results show that the interpolated values of hourly precipitation by thin plate smoothing spline are close to the observed values in the rainy season of 2016.The errors are generally below 0.9 mm/h.However,the errors of precipitation in the mountainous areas of eastern Huaibei and western Anhui are above 1.2 mm/h.On monthly scale,the errors in June and July are the largest,and the proportion of absolute values of the errors ≥2 mm/h is up to 2.0% in June and 2.2% in July.The errors in September are the smallest,and the proportion of absolute values of the errors ≥2 mm/h is only 0.6%.The root mean square (RMSE) is only 0.37 mm/h,and the correlation coefficient (COR) is 0.93.The interpolation accuracy of CLDAS-FRT is the highest,with the smallest RMSE (0.65 mm/h) and mean error ( ME =0.01 mm/h),and the largest COR (0.81).The accuracy of the precipitation product obtained by thin plate smoothing spline interpolation is close to that of CLDAS-FAST.Its RMSE is up to 0.80 mm/h,and its ME is only -0.01 mm/h.Its COR is 0.73,but its bias (BIAS) is up to 1.06 mm/h.Li Jun Wen Huayang Chen Fengjiao 2019Meteorological and Environmental Research2019,10,3:1
15Relationship between Extreme Precipitation and Temperature in Two Different Regions:The Tibetan Plateau and Middle–East China显示文摘The change of extreme precipitation with temperature has regional characteristics in the context of global warming.In this study, radiosonde data, co-located rain gauge(RG) observations, and Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission(TRMM) precipitation radar(PR) products are used to explore the relationship between extreme precipitation intensity and near-surface temperature in Middle–East China(MEC) and the eastern Tibetan Plateau(TP) during1998–2012. The results show that extreme precipitation intensity increases with increasing temperature at an approximate Clausius–Clapeyron(C–C) rate(i.e., water vapor increases by 7% as temperature increases by 1°C based on the C–C equation) in MEC and TP, but the rate of increase is larger in TP than in MEC. This is probably because TP(MEC) is featured with deep convective(stratiform) precipitation, which releases more(less) latent heat and strengthens the convection intensity on a shorter(longer) timescale. It is also found that when temperature is higher than 25°C(15°C) in MEC(TP), the extreme precipitation intensity decreases with rise of temperature, suggesting that the precipitation intensity does not always increase with warming. 16A MODEL FOR THE RELEASE BEHAVIOR OF DRUGS FROM HYDROGEL NANOPARTICLE显示文摘A model to correlate and predict the release behavior of drugs from hydrogel nanoparticles is presented in this paper. The nanoparticle is considered as a combination of a shell of an elastic semipermeable membrane and a core of a fluid phase (After swelling equilibrium). The fluid core consists of network building materials and other components that are able to partition in hydrogel nanoparticle phase and surrounding coexisting liquid phase, and is enveloped by the membrane shell. The excess Gibbs energies of the hydrogel nanoparticle phase and the surrounding coexisting fluid phase are expressed e.g. using UNIQUAC equation with “free-volume” contribution for non-ionic solution and VERS-model for ionic one. 18Electrochemical removal of ammonium nitrogen in high efficiency and N_(2) selectivity using non-noble single-atomic iron catalyst显示文摘Ammonia nitrogen (NH_(4)^(+)-N) is a ubiquitous environmental pollutant,especially in offshore aquaculture systems.Electrochemical oxidation is very promising to remove NH_(4)^(+)-N,but suffers from the use of precious metals anodes.In this work,a robust and cheap electrocatalyst,iron single-atoms distributed in nitrogen-doped carbon (Fe-SAs/N-C),was developed for electrochemical removal of NH_(4)^(+)-N from in wastewater containing chloride.The FeSAs/N-C catalyst exhibited superior activity than that of iron nanoparticles loaded carbon(Fe-NPs/N-C),unmodified carbon and conventional Ti/IrO_(2)-TiO_(2)-RuO_(2)electrodes.And high removal efficiency (>99%) could be achieved as well as high N_(2)selectivity (99.5%) at low current density.Further experiments and density functional theory (DFT) calculations demonstrated the indispensable role of single-atom iron in the promoted generation of chloride derived species for efficient removal of NH_(4)^(+)-N.This study provides promising inexpensive catalysts for NH_(4)^(+)-N removal in aquaculture wastewater.Fengjiao Quan Guangming Zhan Bing Zhou Cancan Ling Xiaobing Wang Wenjuan Shen Jianfen Li Falong Jia Lizhi Zhang 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,3:1

20A carbon-neutrality-capactiy index for evaluating carbon sink contributions显示文摘The accurate determination of the carbon-neutrality capacity(CNC)of a region is crucial for developing policies related to emissions and climate change.However,a systematic diagnostic method for determining the CNC that considers the rock chemical weathering carbon sink(RCS)is lacking.Moreover,it is challenging but indispensable to establish a fast and practical index model to determine the CNC.Here,we selected Guizhou as the study area,used the methods for different types of carbon sinks,and constructed a CNC index(CNCI)model.We found that:(1)the carbonate rock chemical weathering carbon sink flux was 30.3 t CO_(2)km^(-2)yr^(-1).Guizhou accounted for 1.8%of the land area and contributed 5.4%of the carbonate chemical weathering carbon sink;(2)the silicate rock chemical weathering carbon sink and its flux were 1.44×10^(3)t CO_(2)and 2.43 t CO_(2)km^(-2)yr^(-1),respectively;(3)the vegetation-soil ecosystem carbon sink and its flux were 1.37×10^(8)t CO_(2)and 831.70 t CO_(2)km^(-2)yr^(-1),respectively;(4)the carbon emissions(CEs)were 280 Tg CO_(2),about 2.8%of the total for China;and(5)the total carbon sinks in Guizhou were 160 Tg CO_(2),with a CNCI of 57%,which is 4.8 times of China and 2.1 times of the world.In summary,we conducted a systematic diagnosis of the CNC considering the RCS and established a CNCI model.The results of this study have a strong implication and significance for national and global CNC determination and gap analysis.Xiaoyong Bai Sirui Zhang Chaojun Li Lian Xiong Fengjiao Song Chaochao Du Minghui Li Qing Luo Yingying Xue Shijie Wang 2023Environmental Science and Ecotechnology2023,,3:1
