1On the topographic entity-oriented digital elevation model construction method for urban area land surface显示文摘Human activity transforms a land surface into a complex surface where artificial and natural landforms coexist and continuous and emergent landforms merge.In this background,the problems of conventional digital elevation models(DEMs),such as morphological distortion,complicated updates,and lack of information,are increasingly prominent.This study proposes a new idea of DEM construction based on the concept of geographic ontology.First,landforms with common features are abstracted into a certain type of topographic entity based on their morphologies and semantics.For each type of topographic entity,a DEM was constructed independently based on the available elevation information and other information about the semantics and spatial relationships.Second,individual DEMs were merged into a complete DEM following certain rules.A 1 km2 area located in the suburb of Nanjing,Jiangsu Province,China,was selected as the experimental area.The effectiveness of the model construction method proposed in this study was verified.The results show that the DEM constructed according to the idea of this study has a significantly better performance than the conventional DEMs.The constructed DEM in this study can well represent ground objects,such as slopes,farmland,and ditches.In particular,the constructed DEM ensures the morphological accuracy of the ground objects.Mingwei ZHAO Ling JIANG Chun WANG Cancan YANG Xin YANG 2021Frontiers of Earth Science2021,15,3:2

3Electrochemical removal of ammonium nitrogen in high efficiency and N_(2) selectivity using non-noble single-atomic iron catalyst显示文摘Ammonia nitrogen (NH_(4)^(+)-N) is a ubiquitous environmental pollutant,especially in offshore aquaculture systems.Electrochemical oxidation is very promising to remove NH_(4)^(+)-N,but suffers from the use of precious metals anodes.In this work,a robust and cheap electrocatalyst,iron single-atoms distributed in nitrogen-doped carbon (Fe-SAs/N-C),was developed for electrochemical removal of NH_(4)^(+)-N from in wastewater containing chloride.The FeSAs/N-C catalyst exhibited superior activity than that of iron nanoparticles loaded carbon(Fe-NPs/N-C),unmodified carbon and conventional Ti/IrO_(2)-TiO_(2)-RuO_(2)electrodes.And high removal efficiency (>99%) could be achieved as well as high N_(2)selectivity (99.5%) at low current density.Further experiments and density functional theory (DFT) calculations demonstrated the indispensable role of single-atom iron in the promoted generation of chloride derived species for efficient removal of NH_(4)^(+)-N.This study provides promising inexpensive catalysts for NH_(4)^(+)-N removal in aquaculture wastewater.Fengjiao Quan Guangming Zhan Bing Zhou Cancan Ling Xiaobing Wang Wenjuan Shen Jianfen Li Falong Jia Lizhi Zhang 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,3:1

6In situ monitoring of Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction by using surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy on a bifunctional Au-Pd nanocoronal film显示文摘Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy(SERS), a powerful surface vibrational spectroscopic technique, is ideally suited for in situ monitoring the chemical transformations occurred at surfaces and/or interfaces.For in situ SERS monitoring, a platform integrated both plasmonic and catalytic activity is a prerequisite. Here, we fabricate a bifunctional Au-Pd nanocoronal film for in situ SERS monitoring Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction. This excellent bifunctional substrate leads to the coupling of high catalytic activity with a strong SERS effect at the center of two adjacent Au cores and shows fine reproducibility and stability of SERS signals. During investigating the Suzuki reaction with in situ SERS, we found two distinct catalytic kinetic processes resulted from two disparate catalytic sites on a Au-Pd nanocoronal.
