2Longitudinal parameter identification of a small unmanned aerial vehicle based on modified particle swarm optimization显示文摘This paper describes a longitudinal parameter identification procedure for a small unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)through modified particle swam optimization(PSO).The procedure is demonstrated using a small UAV equipped with only an micro-electro-mechanical systems(MEMS)inertial measuring element and a global positioning system(GPS)receiver to provide test information.A small UAV longitudinal parameter mathematical model is derived and the modified method is proposed based on PSO with selective particle regeneration(SRPSO).Once modified PSO is applied to the mathematical model,the simulation results show that the mathematical model is correct,and aerodynamic parameters and coefficients of the propeller can be identified accurately.Results are compared with those of PSO and SRPSO and the comparison shows that the proposed method is more robust and faster than the other methods for the longitudinal parameter identification of the small UAV.Some parameter identification results are affected slightly by noise,but the identification results are very good overall.Eventually,experimental validation is employed to test the proposed method,which demonstrates the usefulness of this method.Jiang Tieying Li Jie Huang Kewei 2015Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2015,28,3:10
3Transplantation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells improves cognitive deficits and alleviates neuropathology in animal models of Alzheimer’s disease: a meta-analytic review on potential mechanisms显示文摘Background Alzheimer’s disease is a neurodegenerative disorder.Therapeutically,a transplantation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMMSCs)can play a beneficial role in animal models of Alzheimer’s disease.However,the relevant mechanism remains to be fully elucidated.Main body Subsequent to the transplantation of BMMSCs,memory loss and cognitive impairment were significantly improved in animal models with Alzheimer’s disease(AD).Potential mechanisms involved neurogenesis,apoptosis,angiogenesis,inflammation,immunomodulation,etc.The above mechanisms might play different roles at certain stages.It was revealed that the transplantation of BMMSCs could alter some gene levels.Moreover,the differential expression of representative genes was responsible for neuropathological phenotypes in Alzheimer’s disease,which could be used to construct gene-specific patterns.Conclusions Multiple signal pathways involve therapeutic mechanisms by which the transplantation of BMMSCs improves cognitive and behavioral deficits in AD models.Gene expression profile can be utilized to establish statistical regression model for the evaluation of therapeutic effect.The transplantation of autologous BMMSCs maybe a prospective therapy for patients with Alzheimer’s disease.Chuan Qin Yalan Lu Kewei Wang Lin Bai Guiying Shi Yiying Huang Yongning Li 2020Translational Neurodegeneration2020,9,2:9
4Chemically robust carbon nanotube-PTFE superhydrophobic thin films with enhanced ability of wear resistance显示文摘A chemically robust superhydrophobic nanocomposite thin film with enhanced wear resistance is prepared from a composite comprising polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE) and carbon nanotubes.The superhydrophobic thin films with hierarchical structure are fabricated by spraying an environmentally friendly aqueous dispersion containing carbon nanotubes and PTFE resin on silicon wafer.Thin films with a contact angle of 154.1°± 2° and a sliding angle less than 2° remain superhydrophobic after abrading over 500 times under a pressure of 50 g/cm^2.The thin film is also extremely stable even under much stress conditions.To further the understanding of the enhancement of wear resistance,we investigated the formation of microsized structure and their effects.The growth of microbumps is caused by attracting solution droplet to the hydrophilic islands on hydrophobic surface.Kewei Wang Pan Xiong Xiuping Xu Kan Wang YanLong Li Yufeng Zheng 2017Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2017,27,3:4
5Mechanism of protective film formation during CO_2 corrosion of X65 pipeline steel显示文摘Electrochemical techniques, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were applied to study the corrosion behaviors of X65 steel in static solution with carbon dioxide (CO2) at 65°C. The results show that iron carbonate (FeCO3) deposits on the steel surface as a corrosion product scale. This iron carbonate scale acts as a barrier to CO2 corrosion, and can reduce the general corrosion rate. 13Weapon system portfolio selection based on structural robustness显示文摘The system portfolio selection is a fundamental frontier issue in the development planning and demonstration of weapon equipment.The scientific and reasonable development of the weapon system portfolio is of great significance for optimizing the design of equipment architecture,realizing effective resource allocation,and increasing the campaign effectiveness of integrated joint operations.From the perspective of system-ofsystems,this paper proposes a unified framework called structure-oriented weapon system portfolio selection(SWSPS)to solve the weapon system portfolio selection problem based on structural invulnerability.First,the types of equipment and the relationship between the equipment are sorted out based on the operation loop theory,and a heterogeneous combat network model of the weapon equipment system is established by abstracting the equipment and their relationships into different types of nodes and edges respectively.Then,based on the combat network model,the operation loop comprehensive evaluation index(OLCEI)is introduced to quantitatively describe the structural robustness of the combat network.Next,a weapon system combination selection model is established with the goal of maximizing the operation loop comprehensive evaluation index within the constraints of capability requirements and budget limitations.Finally,our proposed SWSPS is demonstrated through a case study of an armored infantry battalion.The results show that our proposed SWSPS can achieve excellent performance in solving the weapon system portfolio selection problem,which yields many meaningful insights and guidance to the future equipment development planning.JIANG Jiuyao LI Jichao YANG Kewei 2020Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2020,31,6:1

19Three-dimensional molecular dynamics simulation of hydrogen-enhanced dislocation emission and crack propagation显示文摘A three-dimensional molecular dynamics simulation using the embedded atom method (EAM) potentials shows that for both pure Ni and Ni+H, dislocations are firstly emitted during loading and the crack propagates after enough disloca tions are emitted. In the case of hydrogen embrittlement, local plastic deformat ion is a precondition for crack propagation. For the crack along the (1 11) slip pla ne, one atom fraction in percent of hydrogen can decrease the critical stress in tensity for dislocation emission KIe from 0.42 to 0.36 MPam 1/2, and that for crack propagation KIp from 0.80 to 0.76 MPam1/2.
