| 1 | Ten cities cross-sectional questionnaire survey of children asthma and other allergies in China显示文摘Asthma,rhinitis and eczema(allergic or non-allergic)have increased throughout the world during the last decades,especially among children.Changes in the indoor environment are suspected to be important causes.China has experienced a dramatic change in indoor environmental exposures during the past two decades.However,such changes and their associations with children’s asthma and other health aspects have not been thoroughly studied.China,Children,Homes,Health(CCHH),Phase I,was a cross-sectional questionnaire survey of 48219 children 1–8 years old in 10 Chinese cities during 2010–2012.The questionnaire includes the International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood(ISAAC)core health questions and additional questions regarding housing,life habits and outdoor environment.In health analyses,children aged 3–6 years old were included.The prevalences of doctor diagnosed asthma varied from 1.7%to 9.8%(mean 6.8%),a large increase from 0.91%in 1999 and 1.50%in2000.The prevalence of wheeze,rhinitis and atopic eczema(last 12 months)varied from 13.9%to 23.7%,24.0%to 50.8%and4.8%to 15.8%,respectively.Taiyuan had the lowest prevalences of all illnesses and Shanghai the highest,except for wheezewhere the highest value was for Urumqi.We found(1)no obvious association between disease prevalences and ambient PM10concentrations and(2)higher prevalences of disease in humid climates with hot summers and cold winters,but with no centrally heated buildings.Associations between the diseases and economic status as indexed by Gross Domestic Product(GDP)requires further study. | ZHANG YinPing LI BaiZhan HUANG Chen YANG Xu QIAN Hua DENG QiHong ZHAO ZhuoHui LI AnGui ZHAO JiaNing ZHANG Xin QU Fang HU Yu YANG Qin WANG Juan ZHANG Ming WANG Fang ZHENG XiaoHong LU Chan LIU ZhiJian SUN YueXia MO JinHan ZHAO YiLi LIU Wei WANG TingTing NORBCK Dan BORNEHAG Carl-Gustaf SUNDELL Jan | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,34: | 22 |
| 2 | Combination of ribavirin and reduning protects mice against severe pneumonia induced by H1N1 influenza a virus显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of ribavirin administration combined with Reduning in a mouse model of influenza A(H1N1)-induced severe pneumonia.METHODS:Influenza A/Beijing/501/2009(H1N1)-infected C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into four experimental groups treated with either a mock injection of phosphate-buffered saline(PBS),ribavirin(66.6 mg/kg daily)or Reduning(86.6 mg/kg daily),or a combination of both,for 7 days.Mice were monitored for clinical signs and survival,and body weight was measured daily for 14 days.Virus titer,lung wet-to-dry ratios,pathology and cytokines including interleukin(IL)-6,IL-10,and interferon(IFN)-γwere assayed on different days.RESULTS:In the untreated group injected with phosphate buffer saline,all the mice died of the infection.The survival rate of mice treated with Reduning was only 10%,whereas 100%of the ribavirin-and the combination-treated mice survived.Low lung viral loads indicated that ribavirin significantly inhibited virus replication,whereas Reduning did not.Lung wet-to-dry ratios demonstrated that both ribavirin and Reduning,administered together or separately,reduced acute lung edema compared with results in the untreated group.Pathology analyses also showed that treatment with a combination of both drugs relieved pathological lesions,whereas the single drug treatment did not.Levels of IL-6,IL-10 and IFN-γin mice treated with ribavirin or the combination of both ribavirin and Reduning were all significantly lower than in the untreated group,especially in the combination-treated group.In addition,Reduning administration significantly decreased both IL-6 and IL-10production but had no effect on IFN-γ.CONCLUSION:Due to the synergistic effect of antiviral and antiinflammation,the combination of ribavirin and Reduning could be an effective treatment for severe H1N1 which was considered to be significant to delayed antiviral and drug resistant. | Ma Yuexia Zhang Wei Zhao Zhongpeng Li Min Liu Jian Wang Yuguang | 2016 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,2: | 13 |
| 3 | Risk assessment of gas control and spontaneous combustion of coal under gas drainage of an upper tunnel显示文摘The adjustment of the gas drainage rate has an immediate impact on air leakage in gob,thus resulting in the change of self-heating of coal.While regulating the gas drainage parameters,the risk of spontaneous combustion of coal should be considered.The risk assessment of gas control and spontaneous combustion of coal under gas drainage in a tunnel was investigated at different gas drainage rates.The distributions of the air volume along the working face,the gas management effects and the width of the oxidation zone were subjected to risk analysis.As the simulation results showed,with increasing gas drainage rate,although the safety of gas dilution by ventilation was assured,the intensifying air leakage caused the oxidation zone to move into the deeper gob and led to an increase in the width of the oxidation zone.A risk assessment method was proposed to determine a suitable gas drainage rate for the upper tunnel.The correctness of the risk assessment and the validity of the numerical modelling were confirmed by the field measurements. | Tingxiang Chu Pin Li Yuexia Chen | 2019 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2019,29,3: | 9 |

| 5 | Limitation of fault-sealing and its control on hydrocarbon accumulation——An example from the Laoyemiao Oilfi eld of the Nanpu Sag显示文摘Based on previous studies on the internal structures of fault belts, the fault belts in the Laoyemiao Oilfi eld of the Nanpu Sag can be divided into three units, a crushed zone, an upper induced fracture zone and a lower induced fracture zone according to the log response characteristics. The upper induced fracture zone is characterized by the development of pervasive fractures and has a poor sealing or non-sealing capability. It therefore can act as pathways for hydrocarbon migration. The lower induced fracture zone consists of fewer fractures and has limited sealing capability. The crushed zone has a good sealing capability comparable to mudstone and can thus prevent lateral migration of fluid. Through physical modeling and comparing laboratory data with calculated data of oil column heights of traps sealed by faults, it is concluded that the fault-sealing capability for oil and gas is limited. When the oil column height reaches a threshold, oil will spill over from the top of reservoir along the lower induced fracture zone under the action of buoyancy, and the size of reservoir will remain unchanged. Analysis of the formation mechanisms of the fault-sealed reservoirs in the Nanpu Sag indicated that the charging sequence of oil and gas in the reservoir was from lower formation to upper formation, with the fault playing an important role in oil and gas accumulation. The hydrocarbon potential in reverse fault-sealed traps is much better than that in the consequent fault-sealed traps. | 8 | Submarine canyons on the north of Chiwei Island:influenced by recent extension of the southern Okinawa Trough显示文摘Based on new multibeam bathymetric data and about 300 km long single seismic profiles,three topographic units were identified:the canyons,fractural valley and submarine terrace on the north of Chiwei Island where is a structural transition zone between the southern trough and the middle trough.The Chiwei Canyon and the North Chiwei Canyon are two of the largest canyons in the East China Sea(ECS)slope.Topographic features and architectures of them are described.The study shows that both of them are originated along faults.The evolution and spatial distribution of topographic units in the study area are controlled mainly by three groups of faults which were formed and reactive in the recent extensional phase of Okinawa Trough.The Chiwei Canyon was initiated during the middle Pleistocene and guided by F4 that is a N-S trending fault on the slope and F1,a large NW-SE trending fault on the trough.The pathway migration from the remnant channel to the present one of Chiwei Canyon is the result of uplift of tilted fault block that is coupled to the recent extension movements of the southern trough.The submarine terrace is detached from the ECS slope by the NEE-trending fault.The North Chiwei Canyon,developing during the late Pleistocene,is guided by F5,a N-S trending fault,diverted and blocked by the submarine terrace. | ZHAO Yuexia LIU Baohua LI Xishuang LIU Chenguang WU Jinlong WANG Kuiyang | 2008 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2008,27,4: | 1 |

| 10 | Geology and development of geothermal field in Neogene Guantao Formation in northern Bohai Bay Basin: A case of the Caofeidian geothermal heating project in Tangshan, China显示文摘Taking the Gaoshangpu-Liuzan geothermal field in the Nanpu sag of the Bohai Bay Basin as the research object, this paper discusses the geological conditions and potential of the geothermal resources of the Guantao Formation in the study area, and introduces the development practice of geothermal energy heating in Caofeidian. The average buried depth of the Guantao Formation is 1500–2500 m, the lithology is dominated by sandy conglomerate, and the average thickness of thermal reservoir is 120–300 m. The average porosity of thermal reservoir is 28%–35%, the permeability is(600–2000)×10^(-3) μm^(2), and the temperature of thermal reservoir is 70–110 ℃. The formation has total geothermal resources of 13.79×10^(18) J, equivalent to 4.70×10^(8) t of standard coal. Based on a large amount of seismic and drilling data from oil and gas exploration, this study carried out high quality target area selection, simulation of sandstone thermal reservoir, and production and injection in the same layer. The geothermal heating project with distributed production and injection well pattern covering an area of 230×10^(4) m^(2) was completed in the new district of Caofeidian in 2018. The project has been running steadily for two heating seasons, with an average annual saving of 6.06×10^(4) t of standard coal and a reduction of 15.87×10^(4) t of carbon dioxide, achieving good economic and social benefits. This project has proved that the Neogene sandstone geothermal reservoir in eastern China can achieve sustainable large-scale development by using the technology of 'balanced production and injection in the same layer'. | 17 | The influence of home environmental factors and life style on children's respiratory health in Xi'an显示文摘To assess associations between home indoor air environments and asthma,allergies and pneumonia,children aged 1–8 years were surveyed from 12 kindergartens in the city of Xi’an.2,020 questionnaires were responded with a response rate of 83.5%.The prevalences of doctor diagnosed asthma,hay fever,and pneumonia were 2.9%,3.6%,and 28.3%,respectively.Living close to a highway was a risk factor for current rhinitis(AOR 1.5,95%CI 1.2–1.8),eczema(AOR 1.7,95%CI 1.2–2.5),and diagnosed pneumonia(AOR 1.3,95%CI 1.0–1.6).Dampness problems in the home were associated with 50%–130%increases in the prevalences of asthma and allergy.Airing bed linen under sun-shine was protective,especially against rhinitis.Pet avoidance was consistently and significantly associated with asthma and allergy(AOR 1.3–2.4).Decoration of the home during children’s early life is a risk factor for current rhinitis(AOR 1.9,95%CI 1.3–2.9)and eczema(AOR 1.9,95%CI1.1–3.6).Risk factors for pneumonia were living in an apartment(AOR 1.4,95%CI 1.1–1.8),latex wall paint(AOR 1.3,95%CI 1.0–1.7),dampness(AOR 1.4–1.5),breast feeding\3 months(AOR 1.3,95%CI 1.0–1.7),never airing bed linen in sunshine(AOR 1.3,95%CI1.3–1.6),and cleaning children’s room less frequently than once per day(AOR 1.4,95%CI 1.1–1.7).This study demonstrates that home indoor environmental and life style factors may influence the health of children in Xi’an. | Angui Li Yuexia Sun Zhijian Liu Xiaoxia Xu Hongfa Sun Jan Sundell | 2014 | Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,17: | 0 |
| 18 | Numerical analysis and experimental research on detection of welding defects in pipelines based on magnetic flux leakage显示文摘Regular inspection of long-distance oil and gas pipelines plays an important role in ensuring the safe transportation of oil and gas,and inspection on welding defects is an important part of the inspection process.Magnetic flux leakage(MFL)is an electromagnetic non-destructive testing technique which has been commonly utilized to detect welding defects in pipelines.In the present study,Maxwell electro-magnetic simulation software was used to carry out numerical study on the welding defects in pipelines,including incomplete penetration and undercut.TheФ406 pipeline with a wall thickness of 7 mm was selected as the study case to establish the numerical model.Setting the life-off value at 1 mm,the distribution of magnetic leakage field was investigated for pipeline without defect,pipeline with incomplete penetration defect and pipeline with undercut defect respectively,the characteristic values describing the depth and width of defects were found.Furthermore,quantified equations which can be used to describe the defect depth were proposed.Finally,experimental research was carried out to validate the effectiveness of the numerical model,and the experimental results showed good consistence with the numerical calculation results.The research results indicate that,it is technically feasible and reliable to diagnose the incomplete penetration and undercut welding defects in pipelines using MFL. | Changsheng Zhang Jinpeng Bi Yuexia Lv Mengli Li Yongying Qi Kai Zhou Ming Zhang Tingting Du | 2023 | Petroleum Research2023,8,4: | 0 |
