| 2 | Clinical research linking Traditional Chinese Medicine constitution types with diseases:a literature review of 1639 observational studies显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To analyze clinical studies on correlations between Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)body constitution types and diseases published in the past 10 years,and to provide an evidence base to support the use of such correlations for health maintenance and disease prevention.METHODS:We searched five databases for the period April 2009 to December 2019:China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database,Wanfang Database,China Science and Technology Journal Database,PubMed and Embase.Three types of observational studies on correlation between constitution types and diseases were included:cross-sectional,case-control and cohort studies.Descriptive statistical methods were employed for data analysis.RESULTS:A total of 1639 clinical studies were identified:1452(88.59%)cross-sectional studies,115(7.02%)case-control studies and 72(4.39%)cohort studies covering 30 regions of China and five other countries(Malaysia,South Korea,Singapore,Thailand and France).The collection of studies comprised 19 disease categories and 333 different diseases.The 10 most commonly studied diseases were hypertension,diabetes,stroke,coronary atherosclerotic heart disease(CAHD),sleep disorders,neoplasm of the breast,dysmenorrhea,fatty liver disease,chronic viral hepatitis B and dyslipidemia.We found high distributions for each biased constitution type in different patient populations as follows:Qi-deficiency constitution in stroke,diabetes,chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,acquired immunodeficiency syndrome and hypertension;Yang-deficiency constitution in female infertility,osteoporosis,irritable bowel syndrome,gonarthrosis and dysmenorrhea;Yin-deficiency constitution in hypertension,diabetes,constipation,female climacteric states and osteoporosis;phlegm-dampness constitution in hypertension,stroke,fatty liver disease,diabetes and metabolic syndrome;damp-heat constitution in acne,chronic gastritis,chronic viral hepatitis B,human papillomavirus infection and hyperuricemia;blood-stasis constitution in CAHD,endometriosis and stroke;Qi-stagnation constitution in hyperplasia and neoplasms of the breast,insomnia,depression and thyroid nodules;and inherited-special constitution in asthma and allergic rhinitis.CONCLUSION:Eight biased TCM constitutions were closely related to specific diseases,and could be used to guide individualized prevention and treatment.More rigorously designed studies are recommended to further verify the constitution-disease relationship. | Liang Xue Wang Qi Jiang Zeqiang Li Zhuqing Zhang Mengxing Yang Peiying Wang Xin Wang Yanqiu Qin Yuehua Li Tianxing Zhang Tianyi Wang Yi Sun Jianxiang Li Yusi Luo Hui Li Lingru | 2020 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,4: | 29 |
| 3 | Spectral analysis and self-adjusting mechanism for oscillation phenomenon in hydrogen-oxygen continuously rotating detonation engine显示文摘The continuously rotating detonation engine(CRDE)is a new concept of engines for aircraft and spacecraft.Quasi-stable continuously rotating detonation(CRD)can be observed in an annular combustion chamber,but the sustaining,stabilizing and adjusting mechanisms are not yet clear.To learn more deeply into the CRDE,experimental studies have been carried out to investigate hydrogen-oxygen CRDE.Pressure histories are obtained during each shot,which show that stable CRD waves are generated in the combustor,when feeding pressures are higher than 0.5 MPa for fuel and oxidizer,respectively.Each shot can keep running as long as fresh gas feeding maintains.Close-up of the pressure history shows the repeatability of pressure peaks and indicates the detonation velocity in hydrogen–oxygen CRD,which proves the success of forming a stable CRD in the annular chamber.Spectrum of the pressure history matches the close-up analysis and confirms the CRD.It also shows multi-wave phenomenon and affirms the fact that in this case a single detonation wave is rotating in the annulus.Moreover,oscillation phenomenon is found in pressure peaks and a self-adjusting mechanism is proposed to explain the phenomenon. | Liu Yusi Wang Yuhui Li Yongsheng Li Yang Wang Jianping | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2015,28,3: | 14 |

| 5 | Geological significance of nickeliferous minerals in the Fule Pb–Zn deposit, Yunnan Province, China显示文摘The Fule Pb–Zn deposit is located in the Sichuan–Yunnan–Guizhou Province, and it is an important and giant low temperature metallogenic domain in China.In our research area, the Pb–Zn deposits are mainly hosted in the Permian Yangxin Formation and are composed of dolostone and limestone. The distance between the ore bodies and the Permian Emeishan basalt ranged from 50 to160 m. In this study, the nickel rich minerals, including vaesite, polydymite and millerite, were reported for the first time in the Fule deposit. These minerals occurred as xenomorphic mineral aggregate and were sporadically distributed in the sphalerite–galena–calcite vein, which is the main ore type in the deposit. Our study indicated that the paragenetic sequence of minerals in the Fule deposit is the following order: polydymite → vaesite→ millerite → sphalerite → galena → tetrahedrite(tennantite).The geological occurrence characteristics of those nickeliferous minerals suggested that the Permian Emeishan basalt is a possible barrier layer of Pb–Zn ore-forming fluid, and it is an important source for the Ni and part of the Cu in the deposit. The Sichuan–Yunnan–Guizhou Pb–Zn mineralization province is a world-class production base of Pb and Zn, in which the Permian Emeishan basalt and Pb–Zn deposits have uniformly spatial distribution, but the relationship of mineralization between them is still under debate. | 6 | Secondary organic aerosols in Jinan, an urban site in North China: Significant anthropogenic contributions to heavy pollution显示文摘Secondary organic aerosols(SOAs) are an important component of particulates, but whether biogenic SOAs(BSOAs) or anthropogenic SOAs(ASOAs) are the dominant contributors to haze pollution remains poorly characterized. In this study, particulate samples were collected from September 2014 to August 2015 at an urban site in Jinan, which is the capital of Shandong Province and a typical city in the North China Plain. The PM2.5 samples were analyzed for BSOA(isoprene(SOAI) and monoterpenes(SOAM)) and ASOA(aromatic(SOAA)) tracers. The concentrations of the SOAAtracer(1.1 ± 1.0 ng/m3) were lowest, and those of SOAItracers(41.8 ± 86.2 ng/m3) were highest, with the concentrations of SOAMtracers(19.4 ± 9.9 ng/m3) being intermediate. The SOAItracers were more abundant in the summer and less abundant in the winter. Both SOAIand SOAMincreased with increasing ozone level but decreased with increasing NOx level. Correlation analysis revealed a good correlation between 2,3-dihydroxy-4-oxopentanoic acid and levoglucosan levels in three seasons. These results suggested that biomass burning activities occurring in the NCP can enhance the emissions of aromatics and should be controlled, especially in the autumn and winter. SOA tracers were classified according to pollution degree, and the results showed that as pollution increases, the contributions of SOAAincrease. | 8 | Trace Elements in Sphalerite from the Dadongla Zn-Pb Deposit, Western Hunan-Eastern Guizhou Zn-Pb Metallogenic Belt, South China显示文摘The western Hunan-eastern Guizhou Zn-Pb metallogenic belt is one of the important Zn-Pb mineralization regions in China.The Dadongla deposit,located in the northeast of Guizhou Province,is one of the typical Zn-Pb deposits in the region and has estimated resources more than 12 million metric tons(Mt)with an average grade of 4.11 wt%Zn+Pb.Its orebodies are hosted in the lower Cambrian Aoxi Formation dolomite,occurring as bedded,para-bedded in shape,and in conformity with the wall rock.The ore mineral assemblage is simple,dominated by sphalerite with minor pyrite and galena,and the gangue minerals are composed of dolomite,calcite with minor bitumen and barite.In view of the lack of geological and geochemical researches,the genesis of Zn-Pb ore is still unclear.Laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(LA-ICPMS)spot and mapping analyses were used to obtain sphalerite trace element chemistry in the Dadongla Zn-Pb deposit in Guizhou,China,aiming to constrain its ore genesis.The results show that sphalerite is characterized by the enrichment of Cd,Fe,Ge and Hg,corresponding with that of typical MVT deposits.Four zones were identified in the sphalerite crystal from Dadongla from the center to margin according to the color bands.in which the zone in the center,representing the early ore-stage sphalerite,is characterized by enrichment of Cd relatively,while the zone forming at late ore-stage is enriched in Ge and Hg relatively.The finding was controlled by differential leached metals content in ore-forming fluid from its source rock.Notably,critical element Ge trends to be enriched at the late ore-stage and follows a substitution of 2 Zn^2+(?)Ge^4++□(vacancy).Moreover,the calculated ore-forming temperature ranges from 79.9℃to 177.6℃by the empirical formula,which is similar to that of typical Mississippi Valley-type(MVT)deposits.Compared with the features of trace elements in sphalerite from different types of deposits,together with the geology,the Dadongla deposit belongs to an MVT Zn-Pb deposit. | HU Yusi YE Lin WEI Chen LI Zhenli HUANG Zhilong WANG Haoyu | 2020 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2020,94,6: | 3 |
| 9 | Enhance the delivery of light energy ultra-deep into turbid medium by controlling multiple scattering photons to travel in open channels显示文摘Multiple light scattering is considered as the major limitation for deep imaging and focusing in turbid media.In this paper,we present an innovative method to overcome this limitation and enhance the delivery of light energy ultradeep into turbid media with significant improvement in focusing.Our method is based on a wide-field reflection matrix optical coherence tomography(RM-OCT).The time-reversal decomposition of the RM is calibrated with the Tikhonov regularization parameter in order to get more accurate reversal results deep inside the scattering sample.We propose a concept named model energy matrix,which provides a direct mapping of light energy distribution inside the scattering sample.To the best of our knowledge,it is the first time that a method to measure and quantify the distribution of beam intensity inside a scattering sample is demonstrated.By employing the inversion of RM to find the matched wavefront and shaping with a phase-only spatial light modulator,we succeeded in both focusing a beam deep(~9.6 times of scattering mean free path,SMFP)inside the sample and increasing the delivery of light energy by an order of magnitude at an ultra-deep(~14.4 SMFP)position.This technique provides a powerful tool to understand the propagation of photon in a scattering medium and opens a new way to focus light inside biological tissues. | Jing Cao Qiang Yang Yusi Miao Yan Li Saijun Qiu Zhikai Zhu Pinghe Wang Zhongping Chen | 2022 | Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,5: | 2 |

| 12 | Growth asymmetry precedes differential auxin response during apical hook initiation in Arabidopsis显示文摘The development of a hook-like structure at the apical part of the soil-emerging organs has fascinated botanists for centuries,but how it is initiated remains unclear.Here,we demonstrate with highthroughput infrared imaging and 2-D clinostat treatment that,when gravity-induced root bending is absent,apical hook formation still takes place.In such scenarios,hook formation begins with a de novo growth asymmetry at the apical part of a straightly elongating hypocotyl.Remarkably,suchde novo asymmetric growth,but not the following hook enlargement,precedes the establishment of a detectable auxin response asymmetry,and is largely independent of auxin biosynthesis,transport and signaling.Moreover,we found that functional cortical microtubule array is essential for the following enlargement of hook curvature.When microtubule array was disrupted by oryzalin,the polar localization of PIN proteins and the formation of an auxin maximum became impaired at the to-be-hook region.Taken together,we propose a more comprehensive model for apical hook initiation,in which the microtubuledependent polar localization of PINs may mediate the instruction of growth asymmetry that is either stochastically taking place,induced by gravitropic response,or both,to generate a significant auxin gradient that drives the full development of the apical hook. | Yang Peng Dan Zhang Yuping Qiu Zhina Xiao Yusi Ji Wenyang Li Yiji Xia Yichuan Wang Hongwei Guo | 2022 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,1: | 1 |

| 14 | Genesis of fahlore in the Tianbaoshan lead–zinc deposit, Sichuan Province, China: a scanning electron microscopy–energy dispersive spectroscopy study显示文摘The Tianbaoshan deposit, located in the southwestern part of the Yangtze Block, is a representative Pb–Zn deposit in the Sichuan–Yunnan–Guizhou Pb–Zn metallogenic province. The Pb–Zn orebodies are hosted in the upper Sinian Dengying Formation dolostone. The predominant minerals are sphalerite, galena, pyrite, chalcopyrite, quartz, and calcite with minor arsenopyrite,fahlore, and dolomite. The deposit is characterized by relatively strong Cu mineralization. However, the relationship between Pb–Zn and Cu mineralization is unknown. We analyzed the mineralogy and composition of fahlore, chalcopyrite, arsenopyrite, sphalerite, and galena using scanning electron microscopy–energy dispersive spectroscopy, with the aim of providing new evidence for the genesis of the Pb–Zn–(Cu) ore. The results show that the Cu ore in the deposit is dominated by chalcopyrite and fahlore, both of which formed before or during the Pb–Zn ore-forming stage. The fahlore showed dramatic compositional variation and was characterized by negative correlations between Ag and Cu, and between As and Sb,suggesting substitution of Ag for Cu, and that As and Sb substitute in the same site in the fahlore lattice. Based on backscattered electron images and composition, the fahlorewas divided into two types. Type I fahlore crystallized early and is characterized by enrichment of Cu and depletion in Ag and Sb. Type II fahlore formed after Type I, and is rich in Ag and poor in Cu and As. Moreover,galena and fahlore are the host minerals of Ag. The variation of valence state with As host mineral—from fahlore to arsenopyrite—indicates the metallogenic environment changed from relatively oxidizing to reducing with a high p H. In the light of Gibbs energies of reciprocal reactions and isotherms for cation exchange, the composition of the fahlore implies its ore-forming temperature was lower than220 °C, corresponding with typical Mississippi Valley-type(MVT) deposits. | 16 | Relationship of serum GDF11 levels with bone mineral density and bone turnover markers in postmenopausal Chinese women显示文摘Growth differentiation factor 11(GDF11) is an important circulating factor that regulates aging.However,the role of GDF11 in bone metabolism remains unclear.The present study was undertaken to investigate the relationship between serum GDF11 level,bone mass,and bone turnover markers in postmenopausal Chinese women.Serum GDF11 level,bone turnover biochemical markers,and bone mineral density(BMD) were determined in 169 postmenopausal Chinese women(47–78 years old).GDF11 serum levels increased with aging.There were negative correlations between GDF11 and BMD at the various skeletal sites.After adjusting for age and body mass index(BMI),the correlations remained statistically significant.In the multiple linear stepwise regression analysis,age or years since menopause,BMI,GDF11,and estradiol were independent predictors of BMD.A significant negative correlation between GDF11 and bone alkaline phosphatase(BAP) was identified and remained significant after adjusting for age and BMI.No significant correlation was noted between cross-linked N-telopeptides of type I collagen(NTX) and GDF11.In conclusion,GDF11 is an independent negative predictor of BMD and correlates with a biomarker of bone formation,BAP,in postmenopausal Chinese women.GDF11 potentially exerts a negative effect on bone mass by regulating bone formation. | Yusi Chen Qi Guo Min Zhang Shumin Song Tonggui Quan Tiepeng Zhao Hongliang Li Lijuan Guo Tiejian Jiang Guangwei Wang | 2016 | Bone Research2016,4,1: | 1 |

| 18 | HLA-E-restricted Hantaan virus-specific CD8^(+)T cell responses enhance the control of infection in hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome显示文摘Infection with the Hantaan virus(HTNV)may result in severe hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome(HFRS).The functions of HLA-E-restricted CD8^(+)T lymphocytes in virus control and vaccine development have recently received increased attention.The purpose of this research is to discover HLA-E-restricted CD8^(+)T cell epitopes on HTNV as well as the features of these epitope-specific CD8^(+)T cells in HFRS patients.To anticipate HLA-Erestricted HTNV epitopes,the NetMHCpan servers were utilized.The K562/HLA-E cell binding test and the enzyme-linked immunospot assay were used to confirm epitope binding to HLA-E.The number and features of HLA-E-restricted epitope-specific CD8^(+)T lymphocytes in HFRS patients were investigated using tetramer staining,intracellular cytokine labeling,proliferation,and cytotoxicity assays.Six HTNV-derived HLA-Erestricted CD8^(+)T cell epitopes were found in this study.In mild/moderate HFRS patients,the frequency of HLA-E-restricted epitope-specific CD8^(+)T cells was greater than in severe/critical patients.CD38+HLA-DR+HLA-E-restricted CD8^(+)T cells were identified.Meanwhile,CD45RA^(+)CCR7^(-)effector memory-re-expressing CD45RA T cells with early and intermediate maturation and differentiation characteristics predominated.Notably,CD8^(+)T cells from milder HFRS patients produced more interferon-γ,interleukin-2,and granzyme B,had a stronger proliferative potential,and were inversely linked with the amount of plasma HTNV virus load.Furthermore,HLA-E-restricted epitope-specific CD8^(+)T cells demonstrated improved cytotoxic activity in vitro during the acute stage of HFRS.Taken together,the findings demonstrate the protective effects of HLA-E-restricted CD8^(+)T cells during HTNV infection,suggesting that HLA-E-targeted vaccines against HTNV might be developed for HLA-diverse populations. | Kang Tang Yusi Zhang Xinyu Li Chunmei Zhang Xiaozhou Jia Haifeng Hu Lihua Chen Ran Zhuang Yun Zhang Boquan Jin Ying Ma | 2023 | Biosafety and Health2023,5,5: | 0 |

| 20 | Impact of LHC probes of SUSY and recent measurement of(g-2)_μon Z_(3)-NMSSM显示文摘It is well known that excessively heavy supersymmetric particles(sparticles)are disfavored to explain the(g−2)_(μ) anomaly,but some people overlook that moderately light sparticles are also disfavored by the LHC probes of supersymmetry.We take the Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model as an example to emphasize the latter point.It is found that,if the theory is required to explain the anomaly at 2σlevel and meanwhile keep consistent with the LHC results,the following lower bounds may be set:tanβ&20,|M_(1)|&275 GeV,M_(2)&300 GeV,μ&460 GeV,m_(μL)&310 GeV,and m_(μR)&350 GeV,where M_(1)and M_(2)denote gaugino masses,μrepresents the Higgsino mass,and m_(μL)and m_(μR)are the mass of Smuons with L and R denot-ing their dominant chiral component.This observation has significant impacts on dark matter(DM)physics,e.g.,the popular Z-and Higgs-funnel regions have been excluded,and the Bino-dominated neutralino DM has to co-annihilate with the Wino-dominated electroweakinos(in most cases)and/or Smuons(in few cases)to obtain the correct density.It is also inferred that these conclusions keep valid for the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model since the underlying physics for the bounds are the same. | Junjie Cao Fei Li Jingwei Lian Yusi Pan Di Zhang | 2022 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2022,65,9: | 0 |
