| 1 | New-type urbanization in China: Predicted trends and investment demand for 2015-2030显示文摘The future development of new-type urbanization has drawn great attention from both the government and public alike. In this context, the present study had three related research aims. Firstly, it sought to predict the urbanization and population dynamics in China at both national and provincial levels for the period of 2015 to 2030. Secondly, on this basis, it sought to examine the spatial variation of urbanization given the predicted national urbanization rate of 70.12%. Thirdly, it sought to estimate and evaluate the national and provincial demands of investment in the development of new-type urbanization. The main conclusions from this study were as follows:(1) The population size and urbanization rate will reach 1.445 billion and 70.12%, respectively, from 2015 to 2030.(2) The demographic dividend will vanish when the population pressure reaches its maximum. During this period, there will be 70.16 million urban population born. The suburban population that becomes urbanized will be 316.7 million, and thus the net increase in urban population will reach 386 million.(3) Although the urbanization rate of every Chinese province will increase during 2015–2030, it will do so unequally, while differences in urbanization quality among provinces will also be substantial. In some provinces, moreover, the urbanization quality is not compatible with their eco-social development.(4) A total of 4,105,380 billion yuan is required to fund new-type urbanization and the investment demand for each province varies greatly; for example, Guangdong province requires the most funding, amounting to approximately 148 times that required by Tibet, the province in least need of funding. | 4 | Energy Abundance and China's Economic Growth: 2000–2014显示文摘Based on the interprovincial panel data of 2000–2014, this paper carries out an empirical analysis on the relationship between energy abundance and economic growth to test the theoretical hypothesis of ‘resource curse' and explore its transmission mechanism for China and its three regions. The results show that, at the national level, positive correlation is present between energy abundance and economic growth, proving that the ‘resource curse' phenomenon does not exist in China as a whole. Moreover, material capital input, human capital input and the level of opening to the outside world could promote economic growth, while technology innovation input may hinder economic growth. As seen by region, a positive correlation also exists between the energy abundance and economic growth in the eastern and western regions, and there is no ‘resource curse' phenomenon either. In all three regions, the human capital input could promote economic growth. Material capital input could promote economic growth in the eastern but hinder economic growth in the western region; the level of opening to the outside world could promote economic growth in the eastern region. It is known through further survey and analysis on the transmission mechanism of resource curse that, at the national level, material capital input, human capital input, and the level of opening to the outside world present positive correlation with energy abundance, indicating that energy development becomes an important transmission factor by strengthening material capital input and human capital input and raising the level of opening to the outside world. However, technology innovation input presents negative correlation with energy development. As seen by region, both the material capital input and human capital input present positive correlation with energy development strength in the three regions. | 5 | Passivation of Ge surface treated with trimethylaluminum and investigation of electrical properties of HfTiO/Ge gate stacks显示文摘In the current work, in situ surface passivation Ge substrate by using trimethylaluminum(TMA) prior to HfTiO films deposition and electrical properties of HfTiO/Ge gate stacks have been investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) and electrical measurements systematically. Based on analysis from XPS measurements, it has been confirmed that the interfacial layer of HfTiO/Ge gate stack has been suppressed effectively after 20 half-ALD cycles TMA pretreatment. Electrical properties of metal-oxidesemiconductor(MOS) capacitor based on HfTiO gate dielectrics have shown that the MOS capacitor with20 cycles TMA cleaning exhibits the lowest interface state density(~7.56 eV^(-1)cm^(-2)) and the smallest leakage current(~2.67 × 10^(-5)A/cm^2). | 6 | Effect of post-heat treatment on Ti_(2)AlNb-based alloy fabricated by twin-wire alternating dual-electron beam additive manufacturing technology显示文摘Thanks to its excellent high-temperature performance and moderate density,Ti_(2) AlNb-based alloy is con-sidered to be a new generation of high-temperature structural material in the aerospace field.However,its application is restricted currently due to the limitations of traditional processing methods.Recently,our group first successfully prepared this alloy with an unconventional approach named wire-based in-situ additive manufacturing(AM)technology,and great mechanical performance has been obtained.The unbalanced thermal process of AM easily causes inconsistent or undesired microstructures,as well as mechanical properties.Therefore,in this study,we further carried out post-heat treatment research on the as-printed sample so as to optimize its mechanical performance.Results show that theα2-phase will precipitate from the as-deposited samples(B2/β+O)after solution treatment(ST),while all precipitates were dissolved to the B2/β-matrix when the solution temperature was 1100℃.The aging treatment(AT)promoted a great number of O-phases precipitated and led to an increase in its proportion.With the increase in aging temperature,the tensile strength decreased(995 to 821 MPa)gradually coupling the increase of fracture strain(1.65%to 2.12%),while the aging duration time did not show an obvious ef-fect on its performance.In addition,after proper heat treatment,the high temperature(650℃)tensile strength of the samples was as high as 818 and 792 MPa.This research not only promotes the develop-ment of Ti_(2) AlNb-based alloy fabricated through in-situ AM,but also facilitates its further application in the aerospace field. | Zixiang Li Baohua Chang Dongqi Zhang Haoyu Zhang Zhiyue Liang Li Wang Changmeng Liu Dong Du | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,26: | 1 |
| 7 | Space-time analysis of the changing patterns of population pressure on the ecological environment in China显示文摘This paper examines the temporal change and spatial variation of population pressure on the ecological environment in China.We have collected sufficient data from the statistical yearbooks of 31 provincial administrative areas in 1990,1995,2000,2005,and 2010.Using a geographic information system(GIS) and relevant models,we analyzed the trend of the population pressure on ecological environment and the change of the gravity center of ecological environment quality.We conclude that:(1) generally,population pressure on the ecological environment in China was becoming higher during1990-2010,especially in some areas where the population and environment were in serious imbalance and the ecological environment experienced severe pollution;(2) during a certain period,population pressure on the ecological environment was becoming lower in some areas,but the ecological environment was getting worse;(3) the areas with super-high population pressure on the ecological environment were Beijing,Tianjin,and Shanghai;(4) the gravity center of population pressure on the ecological environment and the center of ecological environment quality move differently during the study time period,but the general trend was similar- both of them were moving from west to east.Based on the analysis,this paper also provides some policy suggestions on the control of ecological environment quality. | Dongqi Sun Jinliang Jiang Jianbin Xu Liang Zhou Yi Hu | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2015,13,4: | 1 |

| 9 | Spatiotemporal Evolution Characteristics of Urban Land Surface Temperature Based on Local Climate Zones in Xi’an Metropolitan,China显示文摘Local climate zones(LCZs)are an effective nexus linking internal urban structures to the local climate and have been widely used to study urban thermal environment.However,few studies considered how much the temperature changed due to LCZs transformation and their synergy.This paper quantified the change of urban land surface temperature(LST)in LCZs transformation process by combining the land use transfer matrix with zonal statistics method during 2000–2019 in the Xi’an metropolitan.The results show that,firstly,both LCZs and LST had significant spatiotemporal variations and synchrony.The period when the most LCZs were converted was also the LST rose the fastest,and the spatial growth of the LST coincided with the spatial expansion of the built type LCZs.Secondly,the LST difference between land cover type LCZs and built type LCZs gradually widened.And LST rose more in both built type LCZs transferred in and out.Finally,the Xi’an-Xianyang profile showed that the maximum temperature difference between the peaks and valleys of the LST increased by 4.39℃,indicating that localized high temperature phenomena and fluctuations in the urban thermal environment became more pronounced from 2000 to 2019. | ZHANG Liping ZHOU Liang YUAN Bo HU Fengning ZHANG Qian WEI Wei SUN Dongqi | 2023 | Chinese Geographical Science2023,33,6: | 0 |
