| 1 | Advanced Ni-Nx-C single-site catalysts for CO2 electroreduction to CO based on hierarchical carbon nanocages and S-doping显示文摘Metal-nitrogen-carbon materials are promising catalysts for CO2 electroreduction to CO. Herein, by taking the unique hierarchical carbon nanocages as the support, an advanced nickel-nitrogen-carbon single-site catalyst is conveniently prepared by pyrolyzing the mixture of NiCl2 and phenanthroline, which exhibits a Faradaic efficiency plateau of > 87% in a wide potential window of −0.6 – −1.0 V. Further S-doping by adding KSCN into the precursor much enhances the CO specific current density by 68%, up to 37.5 A·g−1 at −0.8 V, along with an improved CO Faradaic efficiency plateau of > 90%. Such an enhancement can be ascribed to the facilitated CO pathway and suppressed hydrogen evolution from thermodynamic viewpoint as well as the increased electroactive surface area and improved charge transfer fromkinetic viewpoint due to the S-doping. The morphology and chemical composites of the corrosion products were investigated by scanning electron microscope, grazing-incidence X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectrometer. The results demonstrate that the initial corrosion products on the pure zinc mainly consist of zinc oxide/hydroxide and zinc/calcium phosphate compounds. | 8 | A FCC Catalyst Prepared by in situ Technique Based on Application of Filter Residue and Kaolin显示文摘This paper has provided an effective method to utilize the filter residue. A Y zeolite-containing composite and a fluid catalytic cracking(FCC) catalyst had been successfully prepared by an in-situ crystallization technology using filter residue and kaolin as raw materials. The samples were characterized by XRD, FT-IR, SEM, and N_2 adsorption-desorption techniques and evaluated in a bench FCC unit. In comparison to the reference samples synthesized from single kaolin,the silica/alumina molar ratio, the external surface area, and the total pore volume of the composite increased by 16.2%,14.5%, and 16.2%, respectively. The catalyst possessed more meso-and macro-pores and more acid sites than the reference catalyst, and exhibited better coke selectivity. The prepared catalyst had the optimum isomerization and aromatization performance. | 10 | The role of personality,social economic and prevention strategy effects on health-related quality of life among people living with HIV/AIDS显示文摘Background::HIV/AIDS has transformed into a chronic controllable but not yet curable infectious disease as other chronic diseases to some extent.The additional of so called fourth 90%that included the improved health-related quality of life(HRQoL)for people living with HIV(PLWHIV)required solutions beyond antiretroviral therapy and viral load suppression.This study will explore the role of personality,social economic and prevention strategy effection on HRQoL among people living with HIV/AIDS.Methods::A cross-sectional study was conducted among PLWHIV aged more than 16 years old in the 10 municipalities in Yunnan Province,China from October 2019 to May 2020,enrolling total 1997 participants.Individual-level HRQoL data were measured by 12-item Short Form Health Survey(SF-12)and EuroQol Five Dimensions Questionnaire(EQ-5D-5L).We assembled municipal-level data about social economic from Yunnan Statistical Yearbook in 2020 and strategy practice information from the self-evaluation system.We used the principal component analysis to build the social economic and strategy effect on each area respectively and one-way ANOVA was used to perform univariate analysis to identify the predictors with significant differences.Finally we used multi-level model(MLM)to explore the personality,social economic and strategy effects in health-related quality of life among PLWHIV.Results::The global score for quality of life measured using EQ-5D-5L had an estimated mean score(standard deviation,SD)of 0.901±0.146.The HRQoL score measured using PCS-12 had an estimated mean score(SD)of 46.62±8.55.The mean MCS-12 score(SD)was estimated to be 47.80±9.71.The area-level predictors explained a proportion of 13.6-17.2%for the between-area variation of the HRQoL scores,regardless of the total HRQoL,physical component and mental component.The impacts of stigma(P<0.01),social support(P<0.001),anxiety(P<0.001),depression(P<0.05)and social economic status(P<0.05)on HRQoL at the individual-level were significantly different.The plots visualized the impact of individual-level factors on a respondent’s HRQoL was modified by the area-level characteristics.Conclusions::The study identified the possible strategy determinant of individual HRQoL of PLWHIV and also the area effect on HRQoL.Stigma,social support,anxiety,depression and social economic status were the individual-level determinants on HRQoL.These could be a valuable resource for evaluating the overall health of the areas and help improve local decision making. | Xiaowen Wang Hongbing Luo Enlong Yao RenhaiTang Wenbin Dong Fuyong Liu Jun Liang Huilan Li Minyang Xiao Zuyang Zhang Jin Niu Lijun Song Liru Fu Xuehua Li Shicong Qian Qing Guo Zhizhong Song | 2021 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2021,10,4: | 3 |
| 11 | Survivin Antisense Oligodeoxy-Nucleotid Induces Apoptosis in Leukaemia Cell Line K562显示文摘OBJECTIVE To investigate the effects of survivin antisense oligodeoxy-nucleotid (ASODN) on proliferation and apoptosis in the chronic myeloid leukemia cell line K562. METHODS Different concentrations of an antisense oligodeoxy-nucleotid and control sequence (scrambled ODN) targeting the survivin gene were transferred into K562 by a lipofectin reagent. The MTT assay was used to measure the growth inhibitory rate, IC50, and to observe the cytotoxicity of survivin ASODN in the K562 cells. The morphologic changes in the nucleus and the apoptotic rate were observed by Hoechst33342/PI staining. Caspase-3 activity was evaluated by a kinase activity assay. The changes of survivin protein expression after transfection were detected by Western blots. RESULTS Eight hours after transfection, fluorescence in the K562 cells was well distributed. Treatment of the cells for 44 h with different concentrations of survivin ASODN produced a IC50 of 800 nmol/L. The growth inhibitory rate with 200, 400, 600 and 1000 nmol/L of survivin ASODN was 15.8±1.6%, 23.8±5.9%, 37.1±5.6% and 77.3±2.5% respectively. After 36 h of of survivin ASODN treatment, distinct morphologic changes characteristic of cell apoptosis such as karyopyknosis and conglomeration were observed by Hoechst33342/PI staining. Caspase-3 activity increased significantly after treatment of the cells with different concentrations of survivin ASODN(P<0.01)and following treatment with 800 nmol/L survivin ASODN, survivin expression decreased significantly. CONCLUSION Survivin ASODN exerts an anti-cancer effect by inducing apoptosis in K562 leukaemia cells. | 12 | Rapid and simultaneous analysis of multiple wine quality indicators through near-infrared spectroscopy with twice optimization for wavelength model显示文摘Alcohol,total sugar,total acid,and total phenol contents are the main indicators of wine quality detection.This study aims to establish simultaneous analysis models for the four indicators through near-infrared(NIR)spectroscopy with wavelength optimization.A Norris derivative filter(NDF)platform with multiparameter optimization was established for spectral pretreatment.The optimal parameters(i.e.,derivative order,number of smoothing points,and number of differential gaps)were(2,9,3)for alcohol,(1,19,5)for total sugar,(1,17,11)for total acid,and(1,1,1)for total phenol.The equidistant combinationpartial least squares(EC-PLS)was used for large-scale wavelength screening.The wavelength step-by-step phaseout PLS(WSP-PLS)and exhaustive methods were used for secondary optimization.The final optimization models for the four indicators included 7,10,15,and 13 wavelengths located in the overtone or combination regions,respectively.In an independent validation,the root mean square errors,correlation coefficient for prediction(i.e.,SEP and RP),and ratio of performance-to-deviation(RPD)were 0.41 v/v,0.947,and 3.2 for alcohol;1.48 g/L,0.992,and 6.8 for total sugar;0.68 g/L,0.981,and5.1 for total acid;and 0.181 g/L,0.948,and 2.9 for total phenol.The results indicate high correlation,low error,and good overall prediction performance.Consequently,the established reagent-free NIR analytical models are important in the rapid and real-time quality detection of the wine fermentation process and finished products.The proposed wavelength models provide a valuable reference for designing small dedicated instruments. | Jiemei CHEN Sixia LIAO Lijun YAO Tao PAN | 2021 | Frontiers of Optoelectronics2021,14,3: | 2 |
| 13 | Synthesis and Application of a Zeolite-containing Composite Material Made from Spent FCC Catalyst显示文摘Novel composite material with a wide pore distribution was synthesized by an in situ technique using spent FCC catalyst as raw material. The characterization results indicated that the composite material contained 56.7% of zeolite Y and exhibited a much larger specific surface area and pore volume as well as strong hydrothermal stability. Fluid catalytic cracking(FCC) catalyst was prepared based on the composite material. The results indicated that the as-prepared catalyst possessed a unique pore structure that was advantageous to the diffusion-controlled reactions. In addition, the attrition resistance, activity and hydrothermal stability of the studied catalyst were superior to those of the reference catalyst. The catalyst also exhibited excellent nickel and vanadium passivation performance, strong bottoms upgrading selectivity, and better gasoline and coke selectivity. | 16 | Combined effects of habitat and interspec ificinteraction define co-occurrence patterns of sympatric Galliformes显示文摘Background:Disentangling the relative importance of environmental variables and interspecific interaction in modulating co-occurrence patterns of sympatric species is essential for understanding the mechanisms of community assembly and biodiversity. For the two sympatric Galliformes, Silver Pheasants (Lophura nycthemera) and Whitenecklaced Partridges (Arborophila gingica), we know little about the role of habitat use and interspecific interactions in modulating their coexistence. Methods:We adopted a probabilistic approach incorporating habitat preference and interspecific interaction using occupancy model to account for imperfect detection,and used daily activity pattern analysis to investigate the cooccurrence pattern of these two sympatric Galliformes in wet and dry seasons. Results: We found that the detection probability of Silver Pheasant and White-necklaced Partridge were related to habitat variables and interspecific interaction. The presence of Silver Pheasant increases the detection probability of White-necklaced Partridge in both the wet and dry season. However, the presence of White-necklaced Partridges increases the detection probability of Silver Pheasants in the wet season, but decreases the probability in the dry season. Further, Silver Pheasants were detected frequently in the sites of high values of enhanced vegetable index (EVI) in both the wet and dry season, and in sites away from human residential settlement in the wet season. Whitenecklaced partridges were mainly detected in low EVI sites. The site use probabilities of two Galliformes were best explained by habitat variables, Silver Pheasants and White-necklaced Partridges preferred steeper areas during the wet and dry season. Both species mainly occurred in low EVI areas during the wet season and occupied sites away from the resident settlement during the dry season. Moreover, the site use probabilities of two species had opposite relationships with forest canopy coverage. Silver Pheasants preferred areas with high forest canopy coverage whereas White-necklaced Partridges preferred low forest canopy coverage in the dry season, and vice versa in the wet season. Species interaction factor (SIF)corroborated weak evidence of the dependence of the site use of one species on that of the other in the either dry or wet season.Temporally, high overlapping of daily activity pattern indicated no significantly temporal niche differentiation between sympatric Galliformes in both wet and dry seasons.
