1γ-MnO2 nanorods/graphene composite as efficient cathode for advanced rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion battery显示文摘Aqueous Zn//MnO2 batteries are emerging as promising large-scale energy storage devices owing to their cost-effectiveness,high safety,high output voltage,and energy density.However,the MnO2 cathode suffers from intrinsically poor rate performance and rapid capacity deterioration.Here,we remove the roadblock by compositing MnO2 nanorods with highly conductive graphene,which remarkably enhances the electrochemical properties of the MnO2 cathode.Benefiting from the boosted electric conductivity and ion diffusion rate as well as the structural protection of graphene,the Zn//MnO2-graphene battery presents an admirable capacity of 301 mAh g^-1 at 0.5 A g^-1,corresponding to a high energy density of 411.6 Wh kg^-1.Even at a high current density of 10 A g^-1,a decent capacity of 95.8 mAh g^-1 is still obtained,manifesting its excellent rate property.Furthermore,an impressive power density of 15 kW kg^-1 is achieved by the Zn//MnO2-graphene battery.Chao Wang Yinxiang Zeng Xiang Xiao Shijia Wu Guobin Zhong Kaiqi Xu Zengfu Wei Wei Su Xihong Lu 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,4:13
2Recent progress and challenges of carbon materials for Zn-ion hybrid supercapacitors显示文摘Zinc-ion hybrid supercapacitors(ZHSCs)have garnered increasing attention as promising energy storage devices in recent years,as they combine the advantages of high-energy Zn-ion batteries and high-power supercapacitors.However,the development of ZHSCs is still in its infancy and there are many bottlenecks to overcome.In particular,the challenge induced by the limited ion adsorption capability of carbon-positive electrodes severely restricts the energy density of ZHSCs.Therefore,it has become a key issue to design novel carbon-positive electrodes that enable high energy density yet do not deteriorate the intrinsic power capability and long-term durability.This study focuses on recent achievements in synthesis,morphology,and electrochemical performance of various carbon materials applied in ZHSCs.The modification strategies to optimize their electrochemical performance are briefly summarized.In addition,current challenges and future opportunities in this field are also outlined.This review will be beneficial to provide an organized framework for the research systems of carbon-positive electrodes and develop novel ZHSCs with high energy density.Qiyu Liu Haozhe Zhang Jinhao Xie Xiaoqing Liu Xihong Lu 2020Carbon Energy2020,2,4:10
3不同黏结长度锚杆拉拔承载特性研究显示文摘黏结长度是影响锚杆承载性能的关键因素之一,研究不同黏结长度锚杆的拉拔承载特性对锚杆支护设计具有重要意义。为此,基于锚固界面的“三线性”黏结-滑移模型,采用FLAC3D数值软件研究了不同黏结长度锚杆的拉拔承载特性。研究结果表明:黏结长度会显著影响锚杆拉拔载荷-位移曲线的形态和发展过程,增大锚杆黏结长度能够提高其承载能力,提高锚杆抵抗失效的能力。随着黏结长度的增加,锚杆峰值拉拔载荷先快速增大后稳定增大,锚杆软化载荷和摩擦载荷先逐渐增大后保持不变,锚杆存在临界黏结长度。拉拔载荷作用下,锚杆轴力沿锚杆长度方向逐渐降低,峰值剪应力最先出现在锚杆加载端,并逐渐向锚杆自由端移动。随着黏结长度的增加,锚杆轴力作用范围增大,锚杆剪应力的不均匀性增加。研究结果可为锚杆支护设计提供有益参考。杜云楼 冯国瑞 康红普 张玉江 ZHANG Xihong 2021采矿与岩层控制工程学报2021,3,3:10

5Dietary supplementation of Lonicera macranthoides leaf powder improves amino acid profiles in serum and longissimus thoracis muscle of growing-finishing pigs显示文摘A 60-days feeding trial was conducted to determine the effect of dietary supplementation of Lonicera macranthoides leaf(LML) on growth performance, meat quality, and free amino acid profiles in growingfinishing pigs. L. macranthoides leaves were harvested, air-dried and milled to powder. A total of 288 crossbred barrows(Large White x Landrace) with an average initial BW of 54.0 ± 3.4 kg were randomly allocated to 3 treatment groups and fed either a basal diet or a diet supplemented with 0.5% or 1.0% LML powder. Results showed that diet supplemented with LML powder did not affect average daily feed intake(ADFI) and feed: gain ratio(P> 0.05) in growing-finishing pigs. Moreover, diet supplemented with LML powder showed no significant effects on carcass traits(P > 0.05) including dressing percentage,backfat thickness and loin muscle area, and meat quality traits(P > 0.05) including meat color, intramuscular fat and cooking loss. However, diet supplemented with LML powder significantly improved free amino acid profiles in serum and longissimus thoracis muscle in growing-finishing pigs. Most importantly, dietary LML powder increased total free amino acids content(P < 0.001) and essential free amino acid content(P < 0.001) in longissimus thoracis muscle. 6Modeling tree root diameter and biomass by ground-penetrating radar显示文摘Roots play a key role in ecosystem functioning as they transfer water and nutrients from soil to plants.Traditional methods for measuring roots are labor-intensive and destructive in nature,which limits quantitative and repeatable assessments in longterm research.Ground-penetrating radar(GPR) provides a non-destructive method to measure plant roots.Based on the superiority of GPR with 2 GHz frequency,we developed a new,practical method to estimate root biomass.First,average root matter density was measured by collecting a small number of root samples.Second,under controlled,experimental conditions in a sandy area,a root diameter estimation model base on GPR was developed from which root diameter was estimated.Third,root volume was calculated using the estimated root diameter and assuming the shape of roots to be cylindrical.Finally,root biomass was estimated by averaging root matter density and root volume.Results of this study suggest the following:(1) the density of coarse roots with diameters greater than 0.5 cm is relatively uniform;(2) a new wave shape parameter,ΔT,extracted from profile data of 2 GHz frequency antenna is independent of root depth,thus enabling the construction of a root diameter estimation model with high accuracy;and(3) results of a field experiment demonstrated the GPR-based method to be feasible and effective in estimating biomass of coarse roots.These findings are helpful for improving GPR-based root diameter and biomass estimation models and suggest the potential of GPR data in studying root systems.CUI XiHong CHEN Jin SHEN JinSong CAO Xin CHEN XueHong ZHU XiaoLin 2011Science China Earth Sciences2011,54,5:8
7Building a sequence map of the pig pan-genome from multiple de novo assemblies and Hi-C data显示文摘Pigs were domesticated independently in the Near East and China,indicating that a single reference genome from one individual is unable to represent the full spectrum of divergent sequences in pigs worldwide.Therefore,12 de novo pig assemblies from Eurasia were compared in this study to identify the missing sequences from the reference genome.As a result,72.5 Mb of nonredundant sequences(~3% of the genome)were found to be absent from the reference genome(Sscrofa11.1)and were defined as pan-sequences.Of the pan-sequences,9.0 Mb were dominant in Chinese pigs,in contrast with their low frequency in European pigs.One sequence dominant in Chinese pigs contained the complete genic region of the tazarotene-induced gene 3(TIG3)gene which is involved in fatty acid metabolism.Using flanking sequences and Hi-C based methods,27.7% of the sequences could be anchored to the reference genome.The supplementation of these sequences could contribute to the accurate interpretation of the 3D chromatin structure.A web-based pan-genome database was further provided to serve as a primary resource for exploration of genetic diversity and promote pig breeding and biomedical research.Xiaomeng Tian Ran Li Weiwei Fu Yan Li Xihong Wang Ming Li Duo Du Qianzi Tang Yudong Cai Yiming Long Yue Zhao Mingzhou Li Yu Jiang 2020Science China(Life Sciences)2020,63,5:7
8Prevalence and Phylogenetic Analysis of Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever Virus in Ticks from Different Ecosystems in Xinjiang,China显示文摘The Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus(CCHFV),a member of the genus Orthonairovirus and family Nairoviridae,is transmitted by ticks and causes severe hemorrhagic disease in humans.To study the epidemiology of CCHFV in different ecosystems in Xinjiang,China,a total of 58,932 ticks were collected from Tarim Basin,Junggar Basin,Tianshan Mountain,and Altai Mountain from 2014 to 2017.Hyalomma asiaticum asiaticum was the dominant tick species in Tarim and Junggar basins,whereas Dermacentor nuttalli and Hyalomma detritum were found in Tianshan Mountain and Altai Mountain,respectively.Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction of the CCHFV small(S)genome segment was used for the molecular detection.The CCHFV-positive percentage was 5.26%,6.85%,1.94%,and 5.56% in Tarim Basin,Junggar Basin,Tianshan Mountain,and Altai Mountain,respectively.Sequences of the S segment were used for phylogenetic analysis and the results showed that the newly identified CCHFV strains belonged to two clades.Our study confirms that H.asiaticum asiaticum is the major vector of CCHFV in desert habitats which is consistent with previous studies,and also suggests that H.detritum and D.nuttalli are emerging vectors for CCHFV in Xinjiang.Moreover,this study reports the presence of CCHFV in the mountain habitat of Xinjiang for the first time,suggesting that future surveillance of CCHFV should also include mountainous areas.Abulimiti Moming Xihong Yue Shu Shen Chenchen Chang Cheng Wang Tao Luo Yanfang Zhang Rong Guo Zhihong Hu Yujiang Zhang Fei Deng Surong Sun 2018Virologica Sinica2018,33,1:5
9Flexible rechargeable Ni//Zn battery based on self-supported NiCo_2O_4 nanosheets with high power density and good cycling stability显示文摘The overall electrochemical performances of Ni-Zn batteries are still far from satisfactory, specifically for rate performance and cycling stability Herein, we demonstrated a high-performance flexible Ni//Zn battery with outstanding durability and high power density based on selfsupported NiCo_2 O_4 nanosheets as cathode and Zn nanosheets as anode. This Ni//Zn battery is able to deliver a remarkable capacity of183.1 mAh g^(-1) and a good cycling performance(82.7% capacity retention after 3500 cycles). More importantly, this battery achieves an admirable power density of 49.0 kW kg^(-1) and energy density of 303.8 Wh kg^(-1), substantially higher than most recently reported batteries. 10A high over-potential binder-free electrode constructed of Prussian blue and MnO2 for high performance aqueous supercapacitors显示文摘Extending the potential window of aqueous supercapacitors (SCs) up to 2.0 V is still a great challenge.Based on their good dynamic structural reversibility and open framework structure,the coordination superamolecular networks (CSNs) exhibit rapid charge/discharge ability and excellent cycle stability.As a typical coordination superamolecular network (CSN),Prussian blue (denoted as CSN-PB),which self-assembled by the CN-ligand and iron ions is firstly in-situ grown on carbon cloth,followed by electro-deposition of MnO2 to form CSN-PB/MnO2 composite electrode.Benefiting from synergistic effect of the constituent components,as well as the open framework structure of CSN-PB,this composite electrode reaches a high potential window of 1.4 V (vs.Ag/AgCl) and delivers a good specific capacitance of 315.3 F·g^-1 in aqueous electrolyte.An aqueous asymmetric device,constructed with CSN-PB/MnO2 composite as cathode and activated carbon as anode,can work in a stable potential window of 2.4 V,exhibits a high energy density of 46.13 Wh·kg^-1 and excellent cycling stability with 85.5% capacitance retention after 20,000 cycles.This work provides a new concept of high dynamic structural reversibility from CSNs to increase the cell voltage of asymmetric SCs for further boosting energy density.Gaowei Zhang Hua Yao Feng Zhang Zitao Gao Qiujun Li Yangyi Yang Xihong Lu 2019Nano Research2019,12,5:5
11A review on the dielectric materials for high energy-storage application显示文摘With the fast development of the power electronics,dielectric materials with high energy-storage density,low loss,and good temperature stability are eagerly desired for the potential application in advanced pulsed capacitors.Based on the physical principals,the materials with higher saturated polarization,smaller remnant polarization,and higher electrical breakdown field are the most promising candidates.According to this rule,so far,four kinds of materials,namely antiferroelectrics,dielectric glass-ceramics,relaxor ferroelectric and polymer-based ferroelectrics are thought to be more likely used in next-generation pulsed capacitors,and have been widely studied.Thus,this review serves to give an overall summary on the state-of-the-art progress on electric energy-storage performance in these materials.Moreover,some general future prospects are also provided from the existed theoretical and experimental results in this work,in order to propel their application in practice.Xihong Hao 2013Journal of Advanced Dielectrics2013,3,1:4
12Effect of Lactobacillus salivarius H strain isolated from Chinese dry-cured ham on the color stability of fresh pork显示文摘The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of lactic acid bacteria(LAB)on color stability of fresh pork.Of the seven LAB strains isolated from the Chinese dry-cured hams,H strain was identified as Lactobacillus salivarius(CCTCC M2010374)by serial biochemical tests and 16S rRNA analysis.The fresh pork samples were immersed in the H strain and Lactobacillus fermentum extracts for 1 min after ultrasonic cells disruption and samples immersed in sterile 0.9%(m/V)saline was served as a control group,then samples were vacuum packaged and stored at 4◦C.Nitrate oxide synthase(NOS)and metmyoglobin(MetMb)reductase were found in the cells extracts of H strain.After 6 days of storage,H strain group was found to be associated with the highest CIE a*values(P<0.05)and the lowest MetMb(41%).L.salivarius H strain has thus shown a beneficial effect on the color stability of fresh pork.Further research is necessary to elucidate its mechanism.©2013 Beijing Academy of Food Sciences.Production and hosting by Elsevier B.V.All rights reserved.Zhen Luo Vincent Gasasira Yuhui Huang Dengyong Liu Xihong Yang Shihong Jiang Wenfeng Hu 2013Food Science and Human Wellness2013,2,3:3
13A new cell death program regulated by toll-like receptor 9 through p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling pathway in a neonatal rat model with sepsis associated encephalopathy显示文摘Background:Sepsis,a serious condition with high mortality,usually causes sepsis associated encephalopathy(SAE)that involves neuronal cell death.However,the cell death programs involved and their underlying mechanisms are not clear.This study aimed to explore the regulatory mechanisms of different cell death programs in SAE.Methods:A neonatal rat model of SAE was established by cecal ligation and perforation.Survival rate and vital signs(mean arterial pressure and heart rate)were monitored,nerve reflexes were evaluated,and cortical pathological changes were observed by hematoxylin and eosin staining.The expression of pyroptosis,apoptosis,and necroptosis(PANoptosis)-related proteins,mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK),and its upstream regulator toll-like receptor 9(TLR9)were detected.The expression of TLR9 in neurons was observed by immunofluorescence staining.The ultrastructure of neurons was observed by transmission electron microscope.Results:First,PANoptosis was found in cortical nerve cells of the SAE rats.Meanwhile,the subunits of MAPKs,p38 MAPK,Jun N-terminal kinase,and extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK)were activated.After pharmacologically inhibiting each of the subunits,only p38 MAPK was found to be associated with PANoptosis.Furthermore,blocking the p38 MAPK signaling pathway activated necroptosis but inhibited apoptosis and pyroptosis.When necroptosis was pharmacologically inhibited,apoptosis and pyroptosis were reactivated.Finally,we found that the expression of TLR9,a regulator of MAPKs,was significantly increased in this model.After down-regulation of TLR9,p38 MAPK,and ERK signaling pathways were inhibited,which led to the inhibition of PANoptosis.Further analysis found that down-regulation of TLR9 improved the survival rate and reduced the pathological changes in SAE rats.Conclusions:Our study showed that the programs comprising PANoptosis are activated simultaneously in SAE rats.TLR9 activated PANoptosis through the p38 MAPK signaling pathway.TLR9 may work as a potential target for SAE treatment.Ruixi Zhou Junjie Ying Xia Qiu Luting Yu Yan Yue Qian Liu Jing Shi Xihong Li Yi Qu Dezhi Mu 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,12:3

15Joint synchronization estimation based on genetic algorithm for OFDM/OQAM systems显示文摘This paper investigates the problem of synchronization for offset quadrature amplitude modulation based orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM/OQAM) systems based on the genetic algorithm. In order to increase the spectrum efficiency,an improved preamble structure without guard symbols is derived at first. On this basis, instead of deriving the log likelihood function of power spectral density, joint estimation of the symbol timing offset and carrier frequency offset based on the preamble proposed is formulated into a bivariate optimization problem. After that, an improved genetic algorithm is used to find its global optimum solution. 17Flexible Zn-ion batteries based on manganese oxides: Progress and prospect显示文摘The ever-growing market of wearable electronic devices has greatly stimulated the rapid development of flexible Zn-ion batteries(ZIBs).Manganese oxides are one of the most commonly used hosts for zinc ion accommodation and thus receive particular research interest for high-performance flexible ZIB constructions.In this review,a comprehensive summary of the recent development of flexible ZIBs with manganese oxides as cathode materials is presented.Apart from the brief introduction of flexible electronic devices and ZIBs,the charge storage mechanisms and crystal structures of various manganese oxides are summarized.Modifications of the cathode materials in terms of morphology,conductivity,structures,and flexibilities are illustrated in detail,together with the demonstration of structure-performance relationships and applications in flexible ZIBs.Finally,limitations to be overcome are indicated and the future work directions are proposed.Xingyuan Gao Haozhe Zhang Xiaoqing Liu Xihong Lu 2020Carbon Energy2020,2,3:2
18Influence of hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha on neuronal apoptosis in a rat model of hypoxia-or hypoxia-ischemia-induced brain injury显示文摘BACKGROUND: In addition to neuroprotective genes, the targeted genes of hypoxia-induciblefactor 1α (HIF-1α) include pro-apoptotic genes. However, the influence of HIF-1α on neuronalapoptosis in hypoxia-ischemia remains poorly understood.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the relationship between HIF-1α expression and neuronal apoptosis inhypoxia or hypoxia-ischemia brain injury and to determine the role of HIF-1α in regulating neuronalapoptosis.DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: A randomized, controlled animal experiment was performed at theLaboratory of Children Neurology of Sichuan University between May 2006 and May 2007.MATERIALS: In situ cell death detected kit was provided by Roche, USA; rabbit anti-mouse HIF-1αpolyclonal antibody was purchased from Santa Cruz Biotechnologies, USA; rabbit anti-mousecleaved caspase-3 polyclonal antibody was purchased from Chemicon, USA.METHODS: A total of 36 Sprague Dawley rats aged 10 days were randomly assigned to 3 groups:sham-surgery, hypoxia, and hypoxia-ischemia, with 12 rats per group. The rats were treated at 3time points: 4, 8, and 24 hours, with 4 rats per time point. In the hypoxia-ischemia group, the rightcommon carotid artery was exposed and permanently ligated through a midline cervical incision. A2.5-hour exposure to hypoxia (8% O_2/92% N_2) was used to induce hypoxia-ischemia injury. In thehypoxia group, rats were exposed to hypoxia without ligation of the common carotid artery. In thesham-surgery group, the common carotid artery was exposed without ligation or hypoxia.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Histopathological changes, HIF-1α and activated caspase-3 proteinexpression, integrated optical density of positive cells, and apoptosis-positive cells.RESULTS: Hematoxylin and eosin staining showed that neuronal degeneration and edema wasmost prominent at 24 hours after hypoxia-ischemia. HIF-1α protein expression was significantlyupregulated at 4 hours, peaked at 8 hours, and decreased at 24 hours after hypoxia orhypoxia-ischemia. HIF-1α protein expression was significant greater in the hypoxia andhypoxia-ischemia groups compared with the sham-surgery group (P < 0.01). Activated caspase-3protein expression began to increase at 4 and 8 hours following hypoxia or hypoxia-ischemia andwas significantly upregulated at 24 hours. Activated caspase-3 protein expression remained at lowlevels in the sham controls compared with the hypoxia and hypoxia-ischemia groups (P< 0.01).TUNEL staining showed that the number of apoptotic cells significantly increased at 24 hours afterhypoxia or hypoxia-ischemia. In addition, HIF-1α protein expression was greater in the hypoxiagroup compared with the hypoxia-ischemia group at the same time point (P< 0.05). 19Effects of climate change and land use/cover change on the volume of the Qinghai Lake in China显示文摘Qinghai Lake is the largest saline lake in China.The change in the lake volume is an indicator of the variation in water resources and their response to climate change on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau(QTP)in China.The present study quantitatively evaluated the effects of climate change and land use/cover change(LUCC)on the lake volume of the Qinghai Lake in China from 1958 to 2018,which is crucial for water resources management in the Qinghai Lake Basin.To explore the effects of climate change and LUCC on the Qinghai Lake volume,we analyzed the lake level observation data and multi-period land use/land cover(LULC)data by using an improved lake volume estimation method and Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Trade-offs(InVEST)model.Our results showed that the lake level decreased at the rate of 0.08 m/a from 1958 to 2004 and increased at the rate of 0.16 m/a from 2004 to 2018.The lake volume decreased by 105.40×10^(8) m^(3) from 1958 to 2004,with the rate of 2.24×10^(8) m^(3)/a,whereas it increased by 74.02×10^(8) m^(3) from 2004 to 2018,with the rate of 4.66×10^(8) m^(3)/a.Further,the climate of the Qinghai Lake Basin changed from warm-dry to warm-humid.From 1958 to 2018,the increase in precipitation and the decrease in evaporation controlled the change of the lake volume,which were the main climatic factors affecting the lake volume change.From 1977 to 2018,the measured water yield showed an'increase-decrease-increase'fluctuation in the Qinghai Lake Basin.The effects of climate change and LUCC on the measured water yield were obviously different.From 1977 to 2018,the contribution rate of LUCC was -0.76% and that of climate change was 100.76%;the corresponding rates were 8.57% and 91.43% from 1977 to 2004,respectively,and -4.25% and 104.25% from 2004 to 2018,respectively.Quantitative analysis of the effects and contribution rates of climate change and LUCC on the Qinghai Lake volume revealed the scientific significance of climate change and LUCC,as well as their individual and combined effects in the Qinghai Lake Basin and on the QTP.This study can contribute to the water resources management and regional sustainable development of the Qinghai Lake Basin.WANG Hongwei QI Yuan LIAN Xihong ZHANG Jinlong YANG Rui ZHANG Meiting 2022Journal of Arid Land2022,14,3:2
20Thermal-Hydraulic Calculation and Analysis on Evaporator System of a 1000 MW Ultra-Supercritical Pulverized Combustion Boiler with Double Reheat显示文摘A double reheat ultra-supercritical boiler is an important development direction for high-parameter and large-capacity coal-fired power plants due to its high thermal efficiency and environmental value.China has developed a 1000 MW double reheat ultra-supercritical boiler with steam parameters of 35 MPa at 605℃/613℃/613℃.Reasonable water wall design is one of the keys to safe and reliable operation of the boiler.In order to examine the thermal-hydraulic characteristics of the double reheat ultra-supercritical boiler,the water wall system was equivalent to a flow network comprising series-parallel circuits,linking circuits and pressure nodes,and a calculation model was built on account of the conservation equations of energy,momentum and mass.Through the iterative solving of nonlinear equations,the prediction parameters of the water wall at boiler maximum continue rate(BMCR),75%turbine heat-acceptance rate(THA)and 30%THA loads,including total pressure drops,flow distribution,outlet steam temperatures,fluid and metal temperatures were gotten.The results of calculation exhibit excellent thermal-hydraulic characteristics and substantiate the feasibility of the water wall design of the double reheat ultra-supercritical boiler.WAN Li YANG Dong ZHOU Xihong DONG Le LI Juan 2021Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,3:2
