1RECTANGLE: a bit-slice lightweight block cipher suitable for multiple platforms显示文摘In this paper, we propose a new lightweight block cipher named RECTANGLE. The main idea of the design of RECTANGLE is to allow lightweight and fast implementations using bit-slice techniques. RECTANGLE uses an SP-network. The substitution layer consists of 16 4 × 4 S-boxes in parallel. The permutation layer is composed of 3 rotations. As shown in this paper, RECTANGLE offers great performance in both hardware and software environment, which provides enough flexibility for different application scenario. The following are3 main advantages of RECTANGLE. First, RECTANGLE is extremely hardware-friendly. For the 80-bit key version, a one-cycle-per-round parallel implementation only needs 1600 gates for a throughput of 246 Kbits/s at100 k Hz clock and an energy efficiency of 3.0 p J/bit. Second, RECTANGLE achieves a very competitive software speed among the existing lightweight block ciphers due to its bit-slice style. Using 128-bit SSE instructions,a bit-slice implementation of RECTANGLE reaches an average encryption speed of about 3.9 cycles/byte for messages around 3000 bytes. Last but not least, we propose new design criteria for the RECTANGLE S-box.Due to our careful selection of the S-box and the asymmetric design of the permutation layer, RECTANGLE achieves a very good security-performance tradeoff. 2Palaeogeomorphology and its control on the development of sequence stratigraphy and depositional systems of the Early Silurian in the Tarim Basin显示文摘The Silurian in the Tarim Basin was deposited on the basement deformed by the Caledonian tectonic movements at the end of the Late Ordovician. The development and distribution of sedimentary sequences of the Early Silurian have been clearly controlled by the palaeogeomorphology of the Late Ordovician. Based on unconformity characteristics and distribution of erosion, several zones can be differentiated including a high uplifted erosion zone, a transitional slope zone and a depression zone. The central and west Tabei Uplift zones show high angular unconformity and intense erosion. The Tarim Basin in the late Ordovician shows characteristics of higher in the west, lower in the east while higher in the south, lower in the north. The Early Silurian mainly developed transgressive and highstand systems tracts on the whole, while the lowstand systems tract only developed partly below the slope break. The palaeogeomorphology controlled the clastic source supply and deposit distribution. Braided delta system and tidal flat–estuary system were deposited. The duration of uplifting of the Tazhong paleouplift was longer than that of the Tabei paleo-uplift, and deposition was later. This led to the lower and middle members of the Kepingtage Formation missing in that area. As a large-scale transgression occurred during the deposition period of the upper member of the Kepingtage Formation, sediment from the west of the basin was transported and deposited by tides and waves, forming tidal–marine debris systems above the uplift. Proximal alluvial fan and fan delta coarse clastic deposits developed in proximal uplift zone in the east and southeast of the basin, and braided delta put forward to the transitional zone between the edge of uplift and the sea. Large-scale tidal channel, sub-distributary channel and mouth bar of the delta front can form favorable reservoirs, and they are primary targets for oil and gas exploration. 4Study on patterns and chemical features of NO effect on marine phytoplankton growth显示文摘This article discusses the patterns of NO effect on marine phytoplankton growth from chemical perspective.The experimental results of four algae,which are Platymonas hal-golandica var.tsingtaoensis,Platymonas subcordiformis,Skeletonema costatum and Nitzschia closterium farma minutissima,are as follows:(i) In f/2 medium or f/50 medium,the growth of these four algae was obviously promoted or inhibited when nitric oxide of different concentrations was added once or twice each day during the cultivation;(ii) The NO effects on the growth of marine phytoplankton are in normal distribution.Different phytoplankton has different optimum NO concentration,which is consistent with the influence of NO on the growth of high plants;(iii) The effect of NO on Platymonas halgolandica var.tsingtaoensi,which is a food alga,is different from that on the red tide algae Skeletonema costatum and Nitzschia closterium farma minutis-sima.The authors put forward a new opinion that every alga has its own NO threshold concen-tration.All the above results may provide new clues to understand the formation of red tide.ZHANG Zhengbin LIN Cai LIU Chunying XING Lei WU Zhenzhen SUN Feng 2005Science China Chemistry2005,48,4:9
5Discovery of nitric oxide in marine ecological system and the chemical characteristics of nitric oxide显示文摘Nitric oxide was discovered in both the lab and the alga culture pond of Daya Bay (1―300 m3) before the growth of alga reached the maximum. The results included: (1) NO was detected before the growth of alga reached the maximum in the case of red tide alga and food alga, and the concentration of NO decreased rapidly after the growth maximum; (2) the curve between NO con-centration and time indicated that the concentration of NO in the daytime was more than that at night, and the maximal concentration of NO appeared in the midday (1―3 pm); (3) the growth of alga reached the maximum in the alga culture pond of Daya Bay in about 8―10 d, and NO was discovered in 5―7 d; (4) the measured NO concentration was 10-9 mol/L, 10-9―10-8 mol/L, and 10-8 mol/L for Haeterosigma akashiwo, mixed alga in Daya Bay and Chaetoceros Curvisetus individually; (5) the relation of illumination with NO production was discussed.ZHANG Zhengbin XING Lei WU Zhenzhen LIU Chunying LIN Cai LIU Liansheng 2006Science China Chemistry2006,49,5:7

7Copper-Catalyzed Carbotrifluoromethylation of Unactivated Alkenes Driven by Trifluoromethylation of Alkyl Radicals显示文摘Summary of main observation and conclusion We report herein an unprecedented protocol for radical carbotrifluoromethylation of unactivated alkenes. With Cu(OTf)2 as the catalyst, the reaction of unactivated alkenes, TMSCF3 and activated alkyl chlorides at room temperature provides the corresponding carbotrifluoromethylation products in satisfactory yields. 8Characterization and acid-mobilization study for typical iron- bearing clay mineral显示文摘In this study, iron speciation in five standard clay samples was characterized. Iron mobilization from these clays was then measured in acidic media. For comparison, a commercially available Arizona test dust(ATD) was also observed. The results showed that the free-Fe contents of clays were commonly lower than that of dust aerosols. The components of clays were dominant by the structural Fe held in the aluminosilicate lattice.The iron solubility of the clays were in the order of KGa-2 > SWy-2 > CCa-2 > IMt-2 > NAu-2. Based upon the M?ssbauer spectrum and transmission electron microscopy(TEM)analysis, the Fe(II) fraction and the Fe/Si ratio of clay particles changed after dissolution,suggesting the total Fe solubility depended on the Fe atom states existing within the aluminosilicate lattice. The Fe in KGa-2 and SWy-2 was most likely substituted for alkaline elements as the interlayer ions held by ionic bonds in the aluminosilicate, which are more liable to dissolution. However, the Fe in NAu-2 was more likely to be bound by strong covalent bonds in aluminosilicate mineral, which is less soluble. The much highly soluble Fe in ATD was not only linked to the dissolution of an appreciable fraction of Fe(II), but also could be attributed to the fact that the Fe bonds in the clay fraction of ATD were mainly present as ionic bonds. 9Reversing cold tumors to hot: An immunoadjuvant-functionalized metalorganic framework for multimodal imaging-guided synergistic photoimmunotherapy显示文摘Immunotherapy assays using immunoadjuvants and tumor antigens could greatly increase the survival rates of patients with malignant tumors.As effective carriers,metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)have been widely utilized in cancer therapy due to their remarkable histocompatibility and low toxicity.Herein,we constructed a multimodal imaging-guided synergistic cancer photoimmunotherapy by employing a specific MOF(MIL101-NH2)as the core carrier;the MOF was dual-dressed with photoacoustic and fluorescent signal donors(indocyanine green,ICG)and immune adjuvants(cytosine-phosphate-guanine sequence,CpG)and named ICGCpG@MOF.This nanocarrier could passively target the tumor site through the EPR effect and achieve multimodal imaging(fluorescence,photoacoustic,photothermal and magnetic resonance imaging)of the tumor.Synergistic cancer photoimmunotherapy was achieved via simultaneous photodynamic and photothermal methods with 808 nm laser irradiation.ICG-CpG@MOF achieved the GSH-controlled release of immunoadjuvant into the tumor microenvironment.Furthermore,the released tumor-associated antigen along with CpG could induce the transformation of tumor cells from cold to hot by activating the immune system,which significantly enhanced tumor cytotoxicity and achieved high cure rates with minimal side-effects.This strategy utilizing multimodal imaging and synergistic cancer photoimmunotherapy provides a promising approach for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.Zhijin Fan Hongxing Liu Yaohua Xue Jingyan Lin Yu Fu Zhaohua Xia Dongming Pan Jian Zhang Kun Qiao Zhenzhen Zhang Yuhui Liao 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,2:4

13Tunable Dynamic Black Phosphorus/Insulator/Si Heterojunction Direct-Current Generator Based on the Hot Electron Transport显示文摘Static heterojunction-based electronic devices have been widely applied because carrier dynamic processes between semiconductors can be designed through band gap engineering.Herein,we demonstrate a tunable direct-current generator based on the dynamic heterojunction,whose mechanism is based on breaking the symmetry of drift and diffusion currents and rebounding hot carrier transport in dynamic heterojunctions.Furthermore,the output voltage can be delicately adjusted and enhanced with the interface energy level engineering of inserting dielectric layers.Under the ultrahigh interface electric field,hot electrons will still transfer across the interface through the tunneling and hopping effect.In particular,the intrinsic anisotropy of black phosphorus arising from the lattice structure produces extraordinary electronic,transport,and mechanical properties exploited in our dynamic heterojunction generator.Herein,the voltage of 6.1 V,current density of 124.0 A/m^(2),power density of 201.0 W/m^(2),and energy-conversion efficiency of 31.4%have been achieved based on the dynamic black phosphorus/AlN/Si heterojunction,which can be used to directly and synchronously light up light-emitting diodes.This direct-current generator has the potential to convert ubiquitous mechanical energy into electric energy and is a promising candidate for novel portable and miniaturized power sources in the in situ energy acquisition field.Yanghua Lu Sirui Feng Runjiang Shen Yujun Xu Zhenzhen Hao Yanfei Yan Haonan Zheng Xutao Yu Qiuyue Gao Panpan Zhang Shisheng Lin 2019Research2019,,1:2
14Characterization of marine microplankton communities of Qingdao coastal areas using randomly amplified polymorphic DNA(RAPD)显示文摘Microplankton communities of three coastal sites of Qingdao,Shandong Province,China were investigated using RAPD(random amplified polymorphic DNA) molecular markers and morphological observations.Eight RAPD-primers were selected to amplify the DNA polymorphy.The genetic distances inferred from the pairwise similarities were calculated for the phylogenetic tree construction.Meantime,the traditional microscopic determination,a way of visualizing the species composition,was performed to detect the major taxa of microplanktons from all samples.Results showed that:(1) the band sharing index values were in the range of 0.504 2-0.763 2 among samples from the same sampling site at different time scales,while 0.406 5-0.685 7 among the samples from different stations at the same time scales,indicating that spatial variations of microplankton communities were more pronounced than temporal ones;(2) samples from the same station basically clustered together,corresponding to the geographic distribution of the sampling sites;(3) diversity derived from genetic and morphological data did not correspond with each other well.GAO Shan HU Xiaozhong CHEN Zigui XU Henglong YI Zhenzhen LIN Xiaofeng LI Jiqiu 2009Acta Oceanologica Sinica2009,28,1:2
15Lymphangiogenesis contributes to exercise-induced physiological cardiac growth显示文摘Background:Promoting cardiac lymphangiogenesis exerts beneficial effects for the heart.Exercise can induce physiological cardiac growth with cardiomyocyte hypertrophy and increased proliferation markers in cardiomyocytes.However,it remains unclear whether and how lymphangiogenesis contributes to exercise-induced physiological cardiac growth.We aimed to investigate the role and mechanism of lymphangiogenesis in exercise-induced physiological cardiac growth.Methods:Adult C57 BL6/J mice were subjected to 3 weeks of swimming exercise to induce physiological cardiac growth.Oral treatment with vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 3(VEGFR3) inhibitor SAR1 3 1 675 was used to investigate whether cardiac lymphangiogenesis was required for exercise-induced physiological cardiac growth by VEGFR3 activation.Furthermore,human dermal lymphatic endothelial cell(LEC)-conditioned medium was collected to culture isolated neonatal rat cardiomyocytes to determine whether and how LECs could influence cardiomyocyte proliferation and hypertrophy.Results:Swimming exercise induced physiological cardiac growth accompanied by a remarkable increase of cardiac lymphangiogenesis as evidenced by increased density of lymphatic vessel endothelial hyaluronic acid receptor 1-positive lymphatic vessels in the heart and upregulated LYVE-1 and Podoplanin expressions levels.VEGFR3 was upregulated in the exercised heart,while VEGFR3 inhibitor SAR131675 attenuated exercise-induced physiological cardiac growth as evidenced by blunted myocardial hypertrophy and reduced proliferation marker Ki67 in cardiomyocytes,which was correlated with reduced lymphatic vessel density and downregulated LYVE-1 and Podoplanin in the heart upon exercise.Furthermore,LEC-conditioned medium promoted both hypertrophy and proliferation of cardiomyocytes and contained higher levels of insulinlike growth factor-1 and the extracellular protein Reelin,while LEC-conditioned medium from LECs treated with SAR131675 blocked these effects.Functional rescue assays further demonstrated that protein kinase B(AKT) activation,as well as reduced CCAAT enhancer-binding protein beta(C/EBPβ) and increased CBP/p300-interacting transactivators with E(glutamic acid)/D(aspartic acid)-rich-carboxylterminal domain 4(CITED4),contributed to the promotive effect of LEC-conditioned medium on cardiomyocyte hypertrophy and proliferation.Conclusion:Our findings reveal that cardiac lymphangiogenesis is required for exercise-induced physiological cardiac growth by VEGFR3 activation,and they indicate that LEC-conditioned medium promotes both physiological hypertrophy and proliferation of cardiomyocytes through AKT activation and the C/EBPβ-CITED4 axis.These results highlight the essential roles of cardiac lymphangiogenesis in exercise-induced physiological cardiac growth.Yihua Bei Zhenzhen Huang Xing Feng Lin Li Meng Wei Yujiao Zhu Shuqin Liu Chen Chen Mingming Yin Huimin Jiang Junjie Xiao 2022Journal of Sport and Health Science2022,11,4:2
16Fine-Tuning Contact via Complexation for High-Performance Organic Solar Cells显示文摘For organic optoelectronic devices,precise tuning of the electrical property of both active layers and interfaces is crucial to achieve enhanced device performance.Herein,we developed a facile method using complexation to modify the work function and energy levels of cathode contact layers in organic solar cells(OSCs)to achieve suitable work function and energy levels while retaining relatively good conductivity.Compared with the control devices with neat(N,Ndimethyl-ammonium N-oxide)propyl perylene diimide(PDINO)contacts,the tris(pentafluorophenyl)borane(BCF)-complexed PDINO cathode contacts showed enhanced power conversion efficiencies(PCEs),which is independent of the composition of the active layer.More specifically,single-junction OSCs employing PDINO cathode contact with 2 wt%BCF-additive achieved an average PCE of 17.7%.Based on experimental data and theoretical modeling,we found that the boron cores of BCF coordinate with the amino N-oxide terminal substituent of PDINO after generating BCF–H2O/methanol complexes.BCF segments with a strong electron-withdrawing property can effectively reduce the energy levels of the PDINO–BCF complex,and thus enhance device PCE when it is used as a cathode contact in OSCs.This strategy can be extended to other types of photovoltaic devices,photodetectors,and light-emitting diodes.Yawen Li Zhenzhen Zhang Xiaona Han Tao Li Yuze Lin 2022CCS Chemistry2022,4,3:2
17Effects of water-cooled cover on physiological and production parameters of farrowing sows under hot and humid climates显示文摘The hot and humid climates,as encountered in the southern region of China with the open housing,can adversely impact the sows undergoing heat stress during the most vulnerable period at lactation.Hence,a water-cooled cover system(WCCs)for local cooling has essential practical value to improve productivity.The WCCs was developed for the sow crate of lactating sows separately,which performance was validated with the cooling efficiency in the sow occupied zone(SOZ)and physiological parameters.The results showed that the WCCs for the farrowing sows using aluminium plastic tubes connected in series could reach an appropriate cooling performance in adjacent units.The WCCs could decrease the SOZ air temperature by 3.0-4.5℃under the extremely hot climate when the indoor air temperature was 37℃,and maintain a suitable range(25-30℃)under the typical hot climate(<35℃).The respiration rate and skin temperature of farrowing sows had no significant difference between treatment group(WCC)and control group(sprinkle cooling)when the air temperature was below 30℃,but had a significant difference(p<0.05)when air temperature rose above 30℃.The control sows drank more during hot weather,and the feed intake was significantly lower than the sows with the WCCs(p<0.01).It was concluded that the WCCs could alleviate the heat stress of farrowing sows during typical hot climate.Pang Zhenzhen Li Baoming Zheng Weichao Lin Baozhong Liu Zuohua 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,4:2
18Interfacial Built-In Electric Field-Driven Direct Current Generator Based on Dynamic Silicon Homojunction显示文摘Searching for light and miniaturized functional device structures for sustainable energy gathering from the environment is the focus of energy society with the development of the internet of things.The proposal of a dynamic heterojunction-based direct current generator builds up new platforms for developing in situ energy.However,the requirement of different semiconductors in dynamic heterojunction is too complex to wide applications,generating energy loss for crystal structure mismatch.Herein,dynamic homojunction generators are explored,with the same semiconductor and majority carrier type.Systematic experiments reveal that the majority of carrier directional separation originates from the breaking symmetry between carrier distribution,leading to the rebounding effect of carriers by the interfacial electric field.Strikingly,NN Si homojunction with different Fermi levels can also output the electricity with higher current density than PP/PN homojunction,attributing to higher carrier mobility.The current density is as high as 214.0 A/m^(2),and internal impedance is as low as 3.6 kΩ,matching well with the impedance of electron components.Furthermore,the N-i-N structure is explored,whose output voltage can be further improved to 1.3V in the case of the N-Si/Al2O3/N-Si structure,attributing to the enhanced interfacial barrier.This approach provides a simple and feasible way of converting low-frequency disordered mechanical motion into electricity.Yanghua Lu Qiuyue Gao Xutao Yu Haonan Zheng Runjiang Shen Zhenzhen Hao Yanfei Yan Panpan Zhang Yu Wen Guiting Yang Shisheng Lin 2020Research2020,,1:2
19Convergence analysis and performance optimization of parallel concatenated systematic polar code显示文摘Similar to the analysis of Turbo codes,the parallel concatenated systematic polar code( PCSPC) can also be analyzed by the extrinsic information transfer( EXIT) chart. The convergence of the iterative decoding based on soft cancellation( SCAN) and belief propagation( BP) of PCSPC are analyzed by the EXIT chart.
