1The growth mechanism of hydrotalcite crystal显示文摘From the point of growth units, the growth mechanism of hydrotalcite (HT) crystal is investigated in this paper. Results show that the growth morphology of HT is consistent with the model of anion coordination polyhedron growth units. The Raman shift of growth solutions of HT, Cu-HTlc, and Cu-Zn-HTlc are monitored using Raman spectroscopy. In the experiment, the growth units of Mg-Al-hydrotalcite are [Mg-(OH)6]4- and [Al-(OH)6]3-, and the growth units of Cu-Htlc and Cu-Zn-HTlc are [Mg-(OH)6]4- and [Al-(OH)6]3-, respectively. The growth process of hydrotalcite is as follows: growth units first incorpo- rate into metal layers, then metal layers adsorb An- and H2O, and the growth units incorporate into layer compounds according to this rule. Growth units will have different incorporations and growth morphologies caused by different growth surroundings. 2Intensive phototherapy vs.exchange transfusion for the treatment of neonatal hyperbilirubinemia:a multicenter retrospective cohort study显示文摘Background:Intensive phototherapy(IPT)and exchange transfusion(ET)are the main treatments for extreme hyperbilirubinemia.However,there is no reliable evidence on determining the thresholds for these treatments.This multicenter study compared the effectiveness and complications of IPT and ET in the treatment of extreme hyperbilirubinemia.Methods:This retrospective cohort study was conducted in seven centers from January 2015 to January 2018.Patients with extreme hyperbilirubinemia that met the criteria of ET were included.Patients were divided into three subgroups(low-,medium-,and high-risk)according to gestational week and risk factors.Propensity score matching(PSM)was performed to balance the data before treatment.Study outcomes included the development of bilirubin encephalopathy,duration of hospitalization,expenses,and complications.Mortality,auditory complications,seizures,enamel dysplasia,ocular motility disorders,athetosis,motor,and language development were evaluated during follow-up at age of 3 years.Results:A total of 1164 patients were included in this study.After PSM,296 patients in the IPT only group and 296 patients in the IPT plus ET group were further divided into the low-,medium-,and high-risk subgroups with 188,364,and 40 matched patients,respectively.No significant differences were found between the IPT only and IPT plus ET groups in terms of morbidity,complications,and sequelae.Hospitalization duration and expenses were lower in the low-and medium-risk subgroups in the IPT only group.Conclusions:In this study,our results suggest that IPT is a safe and effective treatment for extreme hyperbilirubinemia.The indication of ET for patients with hyperbilirubinemia could be stricter.However,it is necessary to have a contingency plan for emergency ET as soon as IPT is commenced especially for infants with risk factors.If IPT can be guaranteed and proved to be therapeutic,ET should be avoided as much as possible.Meng Zhang Yang He Jun Tang Wenbin Dong Yong Zhang Benjin Zhang Hong Wan Quanmin Deng Lirong Guan Bin Xia Zhong Chen Min Ge Jing Zhao Wenxing Li Jingjun Pei Yi Qu Dezhi Mu 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,5:7
3Multi-shelled CuO microboxes for carbon dioxide reduction to ethylene显示文摘The electroreduction of CO2 to valuable chemicals and fuels offers an effective mean for energy storage.Although CO2 has been efficiently converted into C1 products(e.g.,carbon monoxide,formic acid,methane and methanol),its convention into high value-added multicarbon hydrocarbons with high selectivity and activity still remains challenging.Here we demonstrate the formation of multi-shelled CuO microboxes for the efficient and selective electrocatalytic CO2 reduction to C2H4.Such a structure favors the accessibility of catalytically active sites,improves adsorption of reaction intermediate(CO),inhibits the diffusion of produced OH−and promotes C-C coupling reaction.Owing to these unique advantages,the multi-shelled CuO microboxes can effectively convert CO2 into C2H4 with a maximum faradaic efficiency of 51.3%in 0.1 M K2SO4.This work provides an effective way to improve CO2 reduction efficiency via constructing micro-and nanostructures of electrocatalysts.Dongxing Tan Jianling Zhang Lei Yao Xiuniang Tan Xiuyan Cheng Qiang Wan Buxing Han Lirong Zheng Jing Zhang 2020Nano Research2020,13,3:6
4A flow cytometer based protocol for quantitative analysis of bloom-forming cyanobacteria(Microcystis) in lake sediments显示文摘A quantitative protocol for the rapid analysis of Microcystis cells and colonies in lake sediment was developed using a modified flow cytometer,the CytoSense.For cell enumeration,diluted sediment samples containing Microcystis were processed with sonication to disintegrate colonies into single cells.An optimized procedure suggested that 5 mg dw(dry weight)/mL dilution combined with 200 W × 2 min sonication yielded the highest counting efficiency.Under the optimized determination conditions,the quantification limit of this protocol was 3.3×10 4 cells/g dw.For colony analysis,Microcystis were isolated from the sediment by filtration.Colony lengths measured by flow cytometry were similar to those measured by microscopy for the size range of one single cell to almost 400 μm in length.Moreover,the relationship between colony size and cell number was determined for three Microcystis species,including Microcystis flos-aquae,M.aeruginosa and M.wessenbergii.Regression formulas were used to calculate the cell numbers in differentsized colonies.The developed protocol was applied to field sediment samples from Lake Taihu.The results indicated the potential and applicability of flow cytometry as a tool for the rapid analysis of benthic Microcystis.This study provided a new capability for the high frequency monitoring of benthic overwintering and population dynamics of this bloom-forming cyanobacterium.Quan Zhou Wei Chen Huiyong Zhang Liang Peng Liming Liu Zhiguo Han Neng Wan Lin Li Lirong Song 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,9:5
5Engineering single atomic ruthenium on defective nickel vanadium layered double hydroxide for highly efficient hydrogen evolution显示文摘Fabricating single-atom catalysts(SACs)with high catalytic activity as well as great stability is a big challenge.Herein,we propose a precise synthesis strategy to stabilize single atomic ruthenium through regulating vanadium defects of nickel vanadium layered double hydroxides(NiV-LDH)ultrathin nanoribbons support.Correspondingly,the isolated atomically Ru doped NiV-LDH ultrathin nanoribbons(NiVRu-R)were successfully fabricated with a super-high Ru load of 12.8 wt.%.X-ray absorption spectrum(XAS)characterization further confirmed atomic dispersion of Ru.As catalysts for electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)in alkaline media,the NiVRu-R demonstrated superior catalytic properties to the commercial Pt/C.Moreover,it maintained exceptional stability even after 5,000 cyclic voltammetry cycles.In-situ XAS and density functional theory(DFT)calculations prove that the Ru atomic sites are stabilized on supports through forming the Ru-O-V structure,which also help promote the catalytic properties through reducing the energy barrier on atomic Ru catalytic sites.Xiaoyu Chen Jiawei Wan Meng Zheng Jin Wang Qinghua Zhang Lin Gu Lirong Zheng Xianzhu Fu Ranbo Yu 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:0
6Nickel-iron in the second coordination shell boost single-atomicsite iridium catalysts for high-performance urea electrooxidation显示文摘Single-atom catalysts(SACs)with high catalytic activity as well as great stability are demonstrating great promotion in electrocatalytic energy conversion,which is also a big challenge to achieve.Herein,we proposed a facile synthetic strategy to construct nickel-iron bimetallic hydroxide nanoribbon stabilized single-atom iridium catalysts(Ir-NiFe-OH),where the nickel-iron hydroxide nanoribbon not only can serve as good electronic conductor,but also can well stabilize and fully expose single-atom sites.Adopted as catalyst for urea oxidation reaction(UOR),it exhibited excellent UOR performance that it only needed a low operated potential of 1.38 V to achieve the current density of 100 mA·cm^(-2).In-situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,X-ray absorption spectrum,and density functional theory calculations proved that Ir species are active centers and the existence of both Ni and Fe in the local structure of Ir atom can optimize the d-band center of Ir species,promoting the adsorption of intermediates and desorption of products for UOR.The hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)/UOR electrocatalytic cell demanded voltages of 1.46 and 1.50 V to achieve 50 and 100 mA·cm^(-2),respectively,which demonstrated a higher activity and better stability than those of conventional catalysts.This work opens a new avenue to develop catalysts for UORs with boosted activity and stability.Xiaoyu Chen Jiawei Wan Jing Chai Liang Zhang Fang Zhang Qinghua Zhang Lin Gu Lirong Zheng Ranbo Yu 2024Nano Research2024,17,5:0
7The structural optimization of roadheader conical picks based on fatigue life显示文摘Conical picks are the key cutting components used on roadheaders,and they are replaced frequently because of the bad working conditions.Picks did not meet the fatigue life when they were damaged by abrasion,so the pick fatigue life and strength are excessive.In the paper,in order to reduce the abrasion and save the materials,structure optimization was carried out.For static analysis and fatigue life prediction,the simulation program was proposed based on mathematical models to obtain the cutting resistance.Furthermore,the finite element models for static analysis and fatigue life analysis were proposed.The results indicated that fatigue life damage and strength failure of the cutting pick would never happen.Subsequently,the initial optimization model and the finite element model of picks were developed.According to the optimized results,a new type of pick was developed based on the working and installing conditions of the traditional pick.Finally,the previous analysis methods used for traditional methods were carried out again for the new type picks.The results show that new type of pick can satisfy the strength and fatigue life requirements.Zhenguo Lu Lirong Wan Qingliang Zeng Xin Zhang Kuidong Gao 2018International Journal of Modeling, Simulation, and Scientific Computing2018,9,2:0
8Processing and properties of rigid polyurethane foams based on bio-oils from microwave-assisted pyrolysis of corn stover显示文摘A new kind of rigid polyurethane(PU)foam was synthesized from the oil phase of bio-oils from microwave-assisted pyrolysis of corn stover.The recipes for the PU foams consisted of polyol-rich bio-oils,water as blowing agent,polyethylene glycol(PEG)as both polyol donor and plasticizer,diphenylmethane-4,4’-diisocyanate(polymeric MDI)as cross-linking agent,silicon-based surfactant,and tin-based catalyst.The mechanical properties of rigid foams were measured with universal testing machine(Instron4206).The effects of individual ingredients on the physical and mechanical properties of the foams were studied.It was found that water content,bio-oil content,and isocyanate dosage were important variables in making PU foams in terms of mechanical strength,density,and cellular structure Under optimal conditions,the compression strength of the prepared PU foams reached 1130 kPa with a density of 152.9 g/L.The results show that bio-oils are potential renewable polyol sources for making rigid PU foams.Jianping Wu Yuanhua Wang Yiqin Wan Hanwu Lei Fei Yu Yuhuan Liu Paul Chen Lirong Yang Roger Ruan 2009International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2009,2,1:0

10Finite element modeling and analysis of planetary gear transmission based on transient meshing properties显示文摘Planetary gear trains are widely applied in various transmission units.Whether strengths of all gears are accurately calculated or not can affect reliability of the entire system significantly.Strength calculation method for planetary gear trains usually follows the method for cylindrical gears,in which the worst meshing positions for both contact stress and bending stress cannot be determined precisely,and calculation results tend to be conservative.To overcome these shortcomings,a kinematics analysis for a planetary gear train is firstly performed,in which the influence of relative speed is investigated.Then the finite element strength analysis of a planetary gear train based on its transient meshing properties is carried out in ANSYS.Time–history curves of contact and bending stresses of sun gear,planetary gears and ring gear are respectively obtained.Also the accurate moment and its corresponding position of the maximum stress are precisely determined.Finally,calculation results of finite element method(FEM)and traditional method are compared in order to verify the effectiveness.Simulation and comparison show the stability of the proposed method in this paper.Researches in this paper establish the foundations for fatigue analysis and optimization for a planetary gear train.Qingliang Zeng Shoubo Jiang Lirong Wan Xueyi Li 2015International Journal of Modeling, Simulation, and Scientific Computing2015,6,3:0
11Amorphous NH_(2)-MIL-68 as an efficient electro-and photo-catalyst for CO_(2)conversion reactions显示文摘To produce metal-organic framework(MOF)catalysts with both high activity and durability is interesting but challenging.We report an amorphous MOF(NH_(2)-MIL-68),which combines the advantages of(1)a large number of open metal sites,(2)the basic building blocks and connectivity of crystalline NH_(2)-MIL-68,and(3)hierarchically meso-and microporous structure.It exhibits high performances in electrocatalytic reduction of CO_(2)and photochemical cycloaddition of CO_(2)under mild conditions.For the former reaction,the maximum Faradaic efficiency for product formic acid(FEHCOOH)reaches 93.3%with a current density of 34.2 mA·cm^(−2)at^(−2).05 V vs.Ag/Ag+catalyzed by amorphous NH_(2)-MIL-68,while the crystalline NH_(2)-MIL-68 shows FEHCOOH of 67.7%with considerable productions of CO and H_(2)at the same experimental conditions.For the photochemical cycloaddition of CO_(2)with styrene oxide,the yield by amorphous NH_(2)-MIL-68 can reach 94.1%at 12 h,which is higher than the reported value under similar conditions.The structure–efficiency relationship of the catalyst for the two reactions was investigated.This work opens up new possibility for designing high-performance MOF and MOF-based catalysts.Lifei Liu Jianling Zhang Xiuyan Cheng Mingzhao Xu Xinchen Kang Qiang Wan Buxing Han Ningning Wu Lirong Zheng Chenyan Ma 2023Nano Research2023,16,1:0
12Ultra-small UiO-66-NH_(2)nanoparticles immobilized on g-C_(3)N_(4)nanosheets for enhanced catalytic activity显示文摘UiO-66-NH_(2),an important metal-organic framework,is usually synthesized by solvothermal method and the particle size is generally larger than 200 nm,which limits its catalytic applications in chemical reactions.It is very meaningful to produce UiO-66-NH_(2) nanoparticles with ultrasmall size,but remains challenging.Herein,we synthesized UiO-66-NH_(2) nanoparticles in size of 8-15 nm that are immobilized on g-C_(3)N_(4)nanosheets.Compared with the UiO-66-NH_(2) synthesized by the traditional solvothermal method(>200 nm),the ultra-small UiO-66-NH_(2) nanoparticles immobilized on g-C_(3)N_(4)have more unsaturated coordination positions and increased Lewis acidity.Owing to these combined advantages,the ultra-small UiO-66-NH_(2)nanoparticles exhibit greatly improved catalytic activity for Meerwein-Ponndorf-Verley reaction than larger UiO-66-NH_(2)particles.Zhuizhui Su Bingxing Zhang Xiuyan Cheng Fanyu Zhang Qiang Wan Lifei Liu Xiuniang Tan Dongxing Tan Lirong Zheng Jianling Zhang 2022Green Energy & Environment2022,7,3:0
