2Mechanical and dielectric properties of porous and wave-transparent Si3N4–Si3N4 composite ceramics fabricated by 3D printing combined with chemical vapor infiltration显示文摘Porous Si3N4–Si3N4 composite ceramics were fabricated by 3D printing combined with low-pressure chemical vapor infiltration(CVI).This technique could effectively improve the designability of porous Si3N4 ceramics and optimize the mechanical and dielectric properties.The effects of process parameters including the deposition time and heat treatment on the microstructure and properties of porous Si3N4–Si3N4 composite ceramics were studied.The study highlights following:When CVI processing time was increased from 0 to 12 h,the porosity decreased from68.65%to 26.07%and the density increased from 0.99 to 2.02 g/cm3.At the same time,the dielectric constant gradually increased from 1.72 to 3.60;however,the dielectric loss always remained less than0.01,indicating the excellent electromagnetic(EM)wave-transparent performance of porous Si3N4–Si3N4 composite ceramics.The maximum flexural strength of 47±2 MPa was achieved when the deposition time attained 6 h.After heat treatment,the porosity increased from 26.07%to 36.02%and the dielectric constant got a slight increase from 3.60 to 3.70 with the dielectric loss still maintaining lower than 0.01.It has been demonstrated that the porous Si3N4–Si3N4 composite ceramics are a promising structural and EM wave-transparent material suitable for high temperature service.Zanlin CHENG Fang YE Yongsheng LIU Tianlu QIAO Jianping LI Hailong QIN Laifei CHENG Litong ZHANG 2019Journal of Advanced Ceramics2019,8,3:10

4Fabrication and Properties of Porous Si_3N_4 Ceramic with High Porosity显示文摘A novel process combining oxidation-bonding and sintering was developed to fabricate porous Si3N4 ceramic with high porosity. After sintering at 1800℃, the SiO2 in porous Si3N4 ceramic transforms into Si2N2O because of the reaction of SiO2 and Si3N4 . Due to the reaction of SiO2 and carbon, the porosity of porous Si3N4 ceramic increases obviously from 40.2% to 76.8% with the weight decreasing by 35.6%. As the porosity increases, the dielectric constant and loss of the porous Si3N4 ceramic decrease obviously from 3.08 to 1.61 and from 3.70×10(-3) to 0.74×10(-3) , but due to the production of Si2N2O whose mechanical properties are much higher than SiO2 and the increase of the bonding strength among Si3N4 particles, the flexural strength and the fracture toughness of the porous Si3N4 ceramic decrease from 55 to 39 MPa and from 0.7 to 0.5 MPa·m(1/2) , respectively, but its Vickers hardness increases from 1.2 to 1.3 GPa.Xiangming Li Litong Zhang Xiaowei Yin 2012Journal of Materials Science & Technology2012,28,12:3
5Effect of Deposition Temperature on Dynamics and Mechanism of Deposition for Si-B-C Ceramic from BCl_3/SiCH_3Cl_3/H_2 Precursor显示文摘The deposition rate, phase, chemical composition and microstructure of deposits were determined from 950 to 1100℃. With increasing temperature, the deposition rate increases, and the morphology changes from smooth to coarse, meanwhile, the concentration of silicon increases while that of boron decreases. The deposition process is controlled by chemical reactions, and the activation energy is 271 kJ/mol. At relatively lower temperature (below 1000℃), the deposition process is dominated by formation of B4C. While at higher temperature (above 1000℃), it is governed by formation of SiC. 8Efficient drug delivery and anticancer effect of micelles based on vitamin E succinate and chitosan derivatives显示文摘Nanocarriers have emerged as a promising cancer drug delivery strategy.Multi-drug resistance caused by overexpression of multiple-drug excretion transporters in tumor cells is the major obstacle to successful chemotherapy.Vitamin E derivatives have many essential functions for drug delivery applications,such as biological components that are hydrophobic,stable,water-soluble enhancing compounds,and anticancer activity.In addition,vitamin E derivatives are also effective mitocan which can overcome multi-drug resistance by binding to P glycoproteins.Here,we developed a carboxymethyl chitosan/vitamin E succinate nano-micellar system(O-CMCTS-VES).The synthesized polymers were characterized by Fourier Transform IR,and 1H NMR spectra.The mean sizes of O-CMCTS-VES and DOX-loaded nanoparticles were around 177 nm and 208 nm.The drug loading contents were 6.1%,13.0%and 10.6%with the weight ratio of DOX to O-CMCTS-VES corresponding 1:10,2:10 and 3:10,and the corresponding EEs were 64.3%,74.5%and 39.7%.Cytotoxicity test,hemolysis test and histocompatibility test showed that it had good biocompatibility in vitro and in vivo.Drug release experiments implied good pH sensitivity and sustained-release effect.The DOX/O-CMCTS-VES nanoparticles can be efficiently taken up by HepG2 cancer cells and the tumor inhibition rate is up to 62.57%.In the in vivo study by using H22 cells implanted Balb/C mice,DOX/O-CMCTS-VES reduced the tumor volume and weight efficiently with a TIR of 35.58%.The newly developed polymeric micelles could successfully be utilized as a nanocarrier system for hydrophobic chemotherapeutic agents for the treatment of solid tumors.Xiaotong Chen Junxiang Gu Le Sun Wenya Li Lili Guo Zhiyang Gu Litong Wang Yan Zhang Wangwang Zhang Baoqin Han Jing Chang 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,10:1

11Electromagnetic interference shielding Ti3C2Tx-bonded carbon black films with enhanced absorption performance显示文摘The demand for flexible and freestanding electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding materials are more and more urgent to combat with serious electromagnetic(EM)radiation pollution.Twodimensional Ti3C2Tx is considered as promising EMI shielding material to graphenes because of the low cost and high electrical conductivity.However,the shielding performance still needs to be optimized to decrease the reflection effectiveness(SER)and increase absorption effectiveness(SEA).Herein,we prepared Ti3C2Tx-bonded carbon black films with a porous structure.The SER decreased from 20 dB to12 dB and the SEA increased from 31 dB to 47 dB.The best EMI shielding effectiveness can be as high as60 dB with SEA of 15 dB and SER of45 dB.Their calculated specific shielding effectiveness can be as high as8718 dB cm^2/g.These results indicate that the porous structure can enhance the absorption of the EMI shielding films,resulting from the enhanced scattering and reflectio n.Conseque ntly,this work provides a promising MXene-based EMI shielding film with lightweight and flexibility.Xiaomeng Fan Minghang Li Xin Li Fang Ye Jimei Xue Litong Zhang Laifei Cheng 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,4:1
12Powerful supercontinuum vortices generated by femtosecond vortex beams with thin plates显示文摘We demonstrate numerically and experimentally the generation of powerful supercontinuum vortices from femtosecond vortex beams by using multiple thin fused silica plates.The supercontinuum vortices are shown to preserve the vortex phase profile of the initial beam for spectral components ranging from 500 nm to 1200 nm.The transfer of the vortex phase profile results from the inhibition of multiple filamentation and the preservation of the vortex ring with relatively uniform intensity distribution by means of the thin-plate scheme,where the supercontinuum is mainly generated from the self-phase modulation and self-steepening effects.Our scheme works for vortex beams with different topological charges,which provides a simple and effective method to generate supercontinuum vortices with high power.Litong Xu Dongwei Li Junwei Chang Deming Li Tingting Xi Zuoqiang Hao 2022Photonics Research2022,10,3:1

14Nanosecond pulsed electric fields prime mesenchymal stem cells to peptide ghrelin and enhance chondrogenesis and osteochondral defect repair in vivo显示文摘Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) are important cell sources in cartilage tissue development and homeostasis,and multiple strategies have been developed to improve MSCs chondrogenic differentiation with an aim of promoting cartilage regeneration.Here we report the effects of combining nanosecond pulsed electric fields(ns PEFs) followed by treatment with ghrelin(a hormone that stimulates release of growth hormone) to regulate chondrogenesis of MSCs.ns PEFs and ghrelin were observed to separately enhance the chondrogenesis of MSCs,and the effects were significantly enhanced when the bioelectric stimulation and hormone were combined,which in turn improved osteochondral tissue repair of these cells within Sprague Dawley rats.We further found that ns PEFs can prime MSCs to be more receptive to subsequent stimuli of differentiation by upregulated Oct4/Nanog and activated JNK signaling pathway.Ghrelin initiated chondrogenic differentiation by activation of ERK1/2 signaling pathway,and RNA-seq results indicated 243 genes were regulated,and JAK-STAT signaling pathway was involved.Interestingly,the sequential order of applying these two stimuli is critical,with ns PEFs pretreatment followed by ghrelin enhanced chondrogenesis of MSCs in vitro and subsequent cartilage regeneration in vivo,but not vice versa.This synergistic prochondrogenic effects provide us new insights and strategies for future cell-based therapies.Kejia Li Litong Fan Jianjing Lin Boon Chin Heng Zhantao Deng Qiujian Zheng Jue Zhang Yangzi Jiang Zigang Ge 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,5:1
