| 8 | Dexmedetomidine alleviates oxygen and glucose deprivation-induced apoptosis in mesenchymal stem cell via downregulation of MKP-1显示文摘Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell(MSC)-based therapy is a novel candidate for heart repair.But ischemiareperfusion injury leads to low viability of MSC.Dexmedetomidine(Dex)has been found to protect neurons against ischemia-reperfusion injury.It remains unknown if Dex could increase the viability of MSCs under ischemia.The present study is to observe the potential protective effect of Dex on MSCs under ischemia and its underlying mechanisms.Specific mRNAs related to myocardial ischemia in the GEO database were selected from the mRNA profiles assessed in a previous study using microarray.The most dysregulated mRNAs of the specific ones from the above study were subject to bioinformatics analysis at our laboratory.These dysregulated mRNAs possibly regulated apoptosis of cardiomyocytes and were validated in vitro for their protective effect on MSCs under ischemia.MSCs were pre-treated with Dex at 10μM concentration for 24 h under oxygen-glucose deprivation(OGD).Flow cytometry and TUNEL assay were carried out to detect apoptosis in Dex-pretreated MSCs under OGD.The relative expressions of mitogen-activated protein kinase phosphatase 1(MKP-1)and related genes were detected by quantitative polymerase chain reaction and western blotting.Microarray data analysis revealed that Dex regulates MAPK phosphatase activity.Dex significantly reduced in vitro apoptosis of MSCs under OGD,which suppressed the synthesis level of Beclin1 and light chain 3 proteins.Dex down-regulated MKP-1 expression and attenuated an OGDinduced change in the mitogen activated protein kinase 3(MAPK3)signaling pathway.Dex increases the viability of MSC and improves its tolerance to OGD in association with the MKP-1 signaling pathway,thus suggesting the potential of Dex as a novel strategy for promoting MSCs efficacy under ischemia. | RUICONG GUAN KUAN ZENG MINNAN GAO JIANFEN LI HUIQI JIANG LU ZHANG JINGWEN LI BIN ZHANG YUQIANG LIU ZHUXUAN LIU DIAN WANG YANQI YANG | 2022 | BIOCELL2022,46,11: | 0 |

| 10 | Enhancing lignin degradation by Mn^(2+)ion supplementation to assist enzymatic hydrolysis of cellulose in a two-stage pretreatment of bamboo显示文摘It is of great significance to reveal a key agent to improve the efficiency of conversion of lignocellulosic biomass to fermentable sugars for the production of bioethanol.This study investigated a two-stage pretreatment of bamboo comprising a microbial treatment using Ceriporiopsis sp.followed by a hydrothermal treatment to facilitate the process with Mn^(2+)as an accelerator.The effects of Mn^(2+)nutritional addition on ligninolytic activity,lignin degradation,total weight loss,pulp yield,sugar yield and sugars in the soluble fraction were examined.The results showed that the time required for the incubations supplemented with Mn^(2+)to achieve sufficient lignin degradation and sugar yield from both the pulp and soluble fractions was significantly shortened,whereas all three ligninolytic activities were significantly decreased.The enzyme activity varied according to the presence of Mn^(2+),although the amount and species of the expressed protein are similar.Considering the cost,microbial treatment with a one-time fed-batch supply of metal nutrition(MnSO4)was the most preferable contribution to hydrothermal pretreatment,resulting in 19.7%lignin degradation,66.7%pulp yield and 26.1%sugar yield over a period of 21 d.It was proven that microbial treatment by solid state incubation with Mn^(2+)nutrition has the potential to be a low-cost,environmentally friendly alternative to chemical approaches. | Liu Jian Gan Lihui Long Minnan | 2017 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,3: | 0 |

| 12 | Improving the performance of perovskite solar cells by surface passivation显示文摘NiO has a perfect-aligned energy level with CH3 NH3 Pb I3 perovskite such that it serves as a hole transport layer(HTL),but Ni O-based perovskite solar cells(PSCs)still suffer from low efficiency due to the poor interface contact between the perovskite layer and the Ni O HTL,and haphazardly stacked perovskite grains.Herein,poly[(9,9-dioctylfluorenyl-2,7-diyl)-alt-co-(1,4-benzo-{2,1,3}-thiadiazole)](PFBT)is introduced between the Ni O and perovskite layers in the form of a polymer aggregate to enhance perovskite crystallinity and decrease the interface charge recombination between perovskite and Ni O in PSCs,resulting in an improved performance.Moreover,PFBT modified perovskite films showed sharper,smoother,and more compact crystalline grains with fewer grain boundaries,leading to the decreased nonradiative recombination.This study offers a simple strategy to achieve highly efficient PSCs with the incorporation of polymer semiconductor aggregates to passivate the interface between the perovskite and Ni O layers. | Wenbin Han Guanhua Ren Zhiqi Li Minnan Dong Chunyu Liu Wenbin Guo | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,7: | 0 |
