| 1 | A critical review on the health promoting effects of mushrooms nutraceuticals显示文摘Extensive elucidations focusing on the efficient health promoting properties and high nutritional values of mushrooms have been expanded dynamically from the past few decades.Due to its high quality of proteins,polysaccharides,unsaturated fatty acids,mineral substances,triterpenes sterols and secondary metabolites,mushrooms have always been appreciated for their vital role in protecting and curing various health problems,such as immunodeficiency,cancer,inflammation,hypertension,hyperlipidemia,hypercholesterolemia and obesity.Moreover,investigations in recent years have revealed the correlations between the health-promoting benefits and gut microbiota regulating effects induced by the mushrooms intake.Researches on the immense role in the nutritional and health benefits displayed by mushrooms have become an emergent task to study.The present article overviewed and compiled the latest information correlated to the health benefits and underlying functional mechanisms of mushroom nutraceuticals,and concluded that the supplementation of mushrooms as a dietary composition could become a natural adjuvant for the prevention and treatment of several health diseases. | Gaoxing Ma Wenjian Yang Liyan Zhao Fei Pei Donglu Fang Qiuhui Hu | 2018 | Food Science and Human Wellness2018，7，2： | 10 |
| 2 | Research and development of new neodymium laser glasses显示文摘This work presents a brief introduction on three kinds of newly developed Nd^(3+)-doped laser glasses in Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics(SIOM), China. Two Nd^(3+)-doped phosphate glasses with lower thermal expansion coefficient and thermal shock resistance 4 times higher than that of N31 glass are developed for laser processing.Nd:Silicate and Nd:Aluminate glasses with peak emission wavelength at 1061 and 1065 nm, effective emission bandwidth of 34 and 50 nm, respectively, are developed for Exawatt-class laser system application. Fluorophosphate glasses with low nonlinear refractive index(n_2=0.6–0.86) and long fluorescence lifetime(430–510 μs) are investigated for the purpose of decreasing B integral in high-power laser system. | 3 | Development of an Inactivated Iridovirus Vaccine Against Turbot Viral Reddish Body Syndrome显示文摘Turbot(Scophthalmus maximus L.) reddish body iridovirus(TRBIV) was propagated in turbot fin cells(TF cells) and inactivated as the TRBIV vaccine with its protection efficiency evaluated in this study.TF cells were cultured in 10% bovine calf serum(BCS)-containing MEM medium(pH7.0) at 22℃,in which TRBIV propagated to a titer as high as 105.6 TCID50 mL-1.The TRBIV was inactivated with 0.1% formalin and formulated with 0.5% aluminum hydroxide.The inactivated vaccine caused neither cytopathogenic effect(CPE) on TF cells nor pathogenic effect on turbots.After being administered with the vaccine twice via muscle injection,the turbot developed high-tittered TRBIV neutralizing antibodies in a dose-dependent manner.The vaccine protected the turbot from dying with an immunoprotection rate of 83.3% as was determined via subcutaneous vaccination in the laboratory and 90.5% via bath vaccination in turbot farms,respectively.The inactivated vaccine was very immunogenic,efficiently preventing tur-bot from death.It holds the potential of being applied in aquaculture. | FAN Tingjun HU Xiuzhong WANG Liyan GENG Xiaofen JIANG Guojian YANG Xiuxia YU Miaomiao | 2012 | Journal of Ocean University of China2012，11，1： | 5 |
| 4 | Classification and 3-D distribution of upper layer water masses in the northern South China Sea显示文摘Using the fuzzy cluster analysis and the temperature-salinity(T-S) similarity number analysis of cruise conductivity-temperature-depth(CTD) data in the upper layer(0–300 m) of the northern South China Sea(NSCS), we classify the upper layer water of the NSCS into six water masses: diluted water(D), surface water(SS),the SCS subsurface water mass(U_S), the Pacific Ocean subsurface water mass(U_P), surface-subsurface mixed water(SU) and subsurface-intermediate mixed water(UI). A new stacked stereogram is used to illustrate the water mass distribution, and to examine the source and the distribution of U_P, combining with the sea surface height data and geostrophic current field. The results show that water mass U_P exists in all four seasons with the maximum range in spring and the minimum range in summer. In spring and winter, the U_P intrudes into the Luzon Strait and the southwest of Taiwan Island via the northern Luzon Strait in the form of nonlinear Rossby eddies, and forms a high temperature and high salinity zone east of the Dongsha Islands. In summer, the U_P is sporadically distributed in the study area. | 8 | Structural basis of the ultrasensitive calcium indicator GCaMP6显示文摘GCaMP is one of the most widely used calcium indicators in neuronal imaging and calcium cell biology.The newly developed GCaMP6 shows superior brightness and ultrasensitivity to calcium concentration change.In this study,we determined crystal structures of Ca2+-bound GCaMP6 monomer and dimer and presented detailed structural analyses in comparison with its parent version GCaMP5G.Our analyses reveal the structural basis for the outperformance of this newly developed Ca2+indicator.Three substitution mutations and the resulting changes of local structure and interaction explain the ultrasensitivity and increased fluorescence intensity common to all three versions of GCaMP6.Each particular substitution in the three GCaMP6 is also structurally consistent with their differential sensitivity and intensity,maximizing the potential of using GCaMP6 in solving diverse problems in neuronal research and calcium signaling.Our studies shall also be beneficial to further structure-guided optimization of GCaMP and facilitate the design of novel calcium indicators. | DING JingJin LUO Andrew F.
