| 1 | Implementing a “free” tuberculosis (TB) care policy under the integrated model in Jiangsu, China: practices and costs in the real world显示文摘Background:In the 1990s,China introduced a“free”tuberculosis(TB)care policy under the national TB control program.Recently,as a part of a new TB diagnosis and treatment model,it has been recommended that the integrated model scale up.This paper examines whether or not TB designated hospitals in the selected project sites have provided TB care according to the national and local guidelines,and analyzes the actual practices and expenditures involved in completing TB treatment.It also explores the reasons why“free”TB care in China cannot be effectively implemented under the integrated model.Methods:This study was conducted in three counties of Zhenjiang city,Jiangsu province.Mixed methods were used,which comprised reviewing the national and local TB control guidelines,conducting TB patient surveys,collecting TB inpatient and outpatient hospital records,and conducting qualitative interviews with stakeholders.Descriptive statistics were used for quantitative data analysis across counties and in order to compare patients who received only outpatient care and those who received both outpatient and inpatient care.The chi-square test and analysis of variance were performed where necessary.Qualitative data were analyzed using the framework approach.Results:Although the national TB care guidelines recommend outpatient care as a basis for TB treatment in China,we found high hospital admission rates for TB patients ranging from 39%in Yangzhong county to 83%in Dantu county.Almost all outpatient TB patients paid for lab tests and over 80%paid for liver protection drugs and around 70%paid for image examinations.These three components accounted for three-quarters of the total outpatient expenditure.For patients who received only outpatient care,the total expenditure upon completion of TB treatment was on average 1,135 Chinese yuan.For patients who received outpatient and inpatient care,the total expenditure upon completion of TB treatment was 11,117 Chinese yuan.Conclusion:The“free”TB care policy under the integrated model has not been effectively implemented in China.There has been substantial spending on non-recommended services,examinations,and drugs for TB treatment. | Xinxin Jia Jiaying Chen Siyuan Zhang Bing Dai Qian Long Shenglan Tang | 2016 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2016,5,1: | 4 |

| 3 | Strength-Toughening Model of Eutectic Ceramic Composite with Inherent Defects显示文摘Strengthening and toughening mechanisms in composite ceramics is complex. A change in a single parameter induces multiple property variations. The multiple changes in properties are often incompletely represented in theoretical models. This incompleteness in the parameter chosen fails to explain the mechanism of failure in composite ceramics. The exponential toughness function is used to represent the pull-out toughening mechanism, which dominates the crack growth resistance curve(R-curve). The strengthening-toughening model is established based on the Mori-Tanaka method(M-T method). The influence of inherent defects on toughness function and strength is analyzed by using this model. The theoretical result is compared with the experiment data. This model exactly reflects the change in strength. The theoretical result indicates that defects change the toughness function. Moreover, micro-cracks increase toughness size ac, and the strength of crack instable extensions acutely decreases as defect content increases. | 17 | Fully Printed High‑Performance n‑Type Metal Oxide Thin‑Film Transistors Utilizing Coffee‑Ring Effect显示文摘Metal oxide thin-films transistors(TFTs)produced from solution-based printing techniques can lead to large-area electronics with low cost.However,the performance of current printed devices is inferior to those from vacuum-based methods due to poor film uniformity induced by the“coffeering”effect.Here,we report a novel approach to print highperformance indium tin oxide(ITO)-based TFTs and logic inverters by taking advantage of such notorious effect.ITO has high electrical conductivity and is generally used as an electrode material.However,by reducing the film thickness down to nanometers scale,the carrier concentration of ITO can be effectively reduced to enable new applications as active channels in transistors.The ultrathin(~10-nm-thick)ITO film in the center of the coffee-ring worked as semiconducting channels,while the thick ITO ridges(>18-nm-thick)served as the contact electrodes.The fully inkjet-printed ITO TFTs exhibited a high saturation mobility of 34.9 cm2 V^(−1) s^(−1) and a low subthreshold swing of 105 mV dec^(−1).In addition,the devices exhibited excellent electrical stability under positive bias illumination stress(PBIS,ΔV_(th)=0.31 V)and negative bias illuminaiton stress(NBIS,ΔV_(th)=−0.29 V)after 10,000 s voltage bias tests.More remarkably,fully printed n-type metal–oxide–semiconductor(NMOS)inverter based on ITO TFTs exhibited an extremely high gain of 181 at a low-supply voltage of 3 V,promising for advanced electronics applications. | Kun Liang Dingwei Li Huihui Ren Momo Zhao Hong Wang Mengfan Ding Guangwei Xu Xiaolong Zhao Shibing Long Siyuan Zhu Pei Sheng Wenbin Li Xiao Lin Bowen Zhu | 2021 | Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,11: | 1 |

| 19 | Microstructural,crystallographic,and mechanical characteristics in Ni-Mn-Ga alloys directionally solidified under a transverse magnetic field显示文摘In this study,the effect of transverse magnetic field-assisted directional solidification(MFADS)on the microstructures in Ni-Mn-Ga alloys has been investigated.The results show that the magnetic field is capable of inducing transversal macrosegregation perpendicular to the magnetic field,causing the emergence of martensite clusters in the austenite matrix.Moreover,the magnetic field alleviates the microseg-regation on a dendritic scale and promotes the preferred growth of austenite dendrites.On the basis of the above investigation,several special samples are designed using the MFADS to study the crystallographic evolution and mechanical behavior during thermal/stress-induced martensite transformation.The martensite cluster in the austenite matrix is used to investigate the martensite transformation and growth under cooling-heating cycles.The crystallographic relationship and phase boundary microstructure between martensite and austenite have been characterized.In addition,the microsegregation on a dendritic scale can significantly influence the martensite variant distribution,corresponding to the performance during compressive circles based on the analysis of the deformation gradient tensor.The stress-induced superelasticity is closely dependent on orientation,well explained from the perspective of different resolved shear stress factors and correspondence variant pair formation transformation strain.The crystallographic evolution has been characterized during in-situ stress-induced transformation.The findings not only deepen the understanding of martensite transformation and mechanical behavior under a thermal/stress field in Ni-Mn-Ga alloys but also propose a promising strategy to obtain microstructure-controllable functional alloys by MFADS. | Xi Li Long Hou Siyuan Yang Ting Zhou Yue Wang Xing Yu Zongbin Li Daoyong Cong Yves Fautrelle Zhongming Ren Yanyan Zhu | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,11: | 0 |
| 20 | A survey of real-time rendering on Web3D application显示文摘Background In recent years, with the rapid development of mobile Internet and Web3D technologies, a large number of web-based online 3D visualization applications have emerged. Web3D applications, including Web3D online tourism, Web3D online architecture, Web3D online education environment, Web3D online medical care, and Web3D online shopping are examples of these applications that leverage 3D rendering on the web. These applications have pushed the boundaries of traditional web applications that use text, sound, image, video, and 2D animation as their main communication media, and resorted to 3D virtual scenes as the main interaction object, enabling a user experience that delivers a strong sense of immersion. This paper approached the emerging Web3D applications that generate stronger impacts on people's lives through “real-time rendering technology”, which is the core technology of Web3D. This paper discusses all the major 3D graphics APIs of Web3D and the well-known Web3D engines at home and abroad and classify the real-time rendering frameworks of Web3D applications into different categories. Results Finally, this study analyzed the specific demand posed by different fields to Web3D applications by referring to the representative Web3D applications in each particular field.
