| 1 | A privacy preserving two-factor authentication protocol for the Bitcoin SPV nodes显示文摘In the Bitcoin network, the simplified payment verification protocol(SPV) enables a lightweight device such as a mobile phone to participate in the bitcoin network without needed to download and store the whole Bitcoin blocks. A Bitcoin SPV node initiates and verifies transactions of the Bitcoin network through the Bitcoin wallet software which is deployed on a resource constrained device such as a mobile phone. Thus, the security of the wallet is critical for the SPV nodes as it may affect the security of user’s cryptocurrencies. However, there are some concerns about the security flaws within the SPV nodes which could lead to significant economic losses. Most of these vulnerabilities can be resolved by employing a secure user authentication protocol. Over the years, researchers have engaged in designing a secure authentication protocol. However, most proposals have security flaws or performance issues. Recently, Park et al. proposed a two-party authenticated key exchange protocol for the mobile environment. They claimed that their protocol is not only secure against various attacks but also can be deployed efficiently. However, after a thorough security analysis, we find that the Park et al.’s protocol is vulnerable to user forgery attack, smart card stolen attack and unable to provide user anonymity. To enhance security, we proposed an efficient and secure user authentication protocol for the SPV nodes in the mobile environment which can fulfill all the security requirements and has provable security. | 2 | Interfacial high-concentration electrolyte for stable lithium metal anode:Theory,design,and demonstration显示文摘Lithium metal anodes hold great potential for high-energy-density secondary batteries.However,the uncontrollable lithium dendrite growth causes poor cycling efficiency and severe safety concerns,hindering lithium metal anode from practical application.Electrolyte components play important roles in suppressing lithium dendrite growth and improving the electrochemical performance of long-life lithium metal anode,and it is still challenging to effectively compromise the advantages of the conventional electrolyte(1 mol·L^(−1)salts)and high-concentration electrolyte(>3 mol·L^(−1)salts)for the optimizing electrochemical performance.Herein,we propose and design an interfacial high-concentration electrolyte induced by the nitrogen-and oxygen-doped carbon nanosheets(NO-CNS)for stable Li metal anodes.The NO-CNS with abundant surface negative charges not only creates an interfacial high-concentration of lithium ions near the electrode surface to promote chargetransfer kinetics but also enables a high ionic conductivity in the bulk electrolyte to improve ionic mass-transfer.Benefitting from the interfacial high-concentration electrolyte,the NO-CNS@Ni foam host presents outstanding electrochemical cycling performances over 600 cycles at 1 mA·cm^(−2) and an improved cycling lifespan of 1,500 h for symmetric cells. | Haotian Lu Chunpeng Yang Feifei Wang Lu Wang Jinghong Zhou Wei Chen Quan-Hong Yang | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,6: | 0 |

| 5 | High-density genetic mapping identified a major locus for environmental sex expression in pumpkin(Cucurbita moschata Duch.)显示文摘Long-day length and high temperature inhibit sex expression in pumpkin(Cucurbita moschata Duch.),and therefore directly impact the production potential.In this study,female flowering patterns in photoperiod-insensitive(PPIS)and photoperiod-sensitive(PPS)germplasms differed significantly in a moderately long day and high temperature environment.However,both germplasms exhibited a similar response in short day with either low temperature or high temperature environment.Photoperiod sensitivity led to this difference in sex expression between the germplasms.For the traits of 1st female flowering node(FFFN)and number of female flowers(NFF),high-density linkage map construction and quantitative trait locus(QTL)mapping were performed using SLAF-seq technology and 162 F_(2) individuals generated from PPIS and PPS.In total,4655 SLAFs were selected and mapped on 20 linkage groups(LGs).The total map length was 2502.01 cM with an average interval distance of 0.75 cM.Major QTLs for both FFFN and NFF were detected on LG6 with intervals of 7.89 and 17.67 cM and PVE values of 30.5%and 22.9%,respectively.Further analyses of the major locus for FFFN revealed 73 protein-coding genes.Among them,4 were related to sex expression,photoperiod flowering,and hormone response.An InDel(insertion and deletion)marker partially correlated with FFFN of the F_(2) population was also developed.Our study identified the QTL for the sex expression response to environmental factors using the high-density linkage map.The identified candidate genes and markers will provide useful information about the molecular interaction between the environment and sex expression and for marker-assisted selection of pumpkin environment-insensitive resources. | Hafiz Muhammad Khalid Abbas Hexun Huang Tingquan Wu Rui Wang Hu Du Sen Lu Shudan Xue Chunpeng Yao Qingmin Jin Yujuan Zhong | 2022 | Horticultural Plant Journal2022,8,5: | 0 |
