2New progress of Double Star-Cluster joint exploration and study显示文摘The magnetic reconnection of magnetosphere and the magnetospheric space storms (including magnetospheric substorm, magnetic storm, magnetospheric particle storm) has long been one of the most challenging subjects in the so-lar-terrestrial physics. The reconnection mechanism and global triggering process of the magnetospheric space storms are still unclear up to now. Based on the Double Star Program (DSP) and Cluster joint measurements, we have observed the solar wind density hole, the component magnetic field reconnection in the magnetopause, the structures of magnetic storm ring current, global and multi-scale driven and triggering processes of magnetospheric substorm. 4Multiple hypothesis tracking based on the Shiryayev sequential probability ratio test显示文摘To date, Wald sequential probability ratio test(WSPRT) has been widely applied to track management of multiple hypothesis tracking(MHT). But in a real situation, if the false alarm spatial density is much larger than the new target spatial density, the original track score will be very close to the deletion threshold of the WSPRT. Consequently, all tracks, including target tracks, may easily be deleted, which means that the tracking performance is sensitive to the tracking environment. Meanwhile, if a target exists for a long time, its track will have a high score, which will make the track survive for a long time even after the target has disappeared. In this paper, to consider the relationship between the hypotheses of the test, we adopt the Shiryayev SPRT(SSPRT) for track management in MHT. By introducing a hypothesis transition probability, the original track score can increase faster, which solves the first problem. In addition, by setting an independent SSPRT for track deletion, the track score can decrease faster, which solves the second problem. 5Case study of small scale polytropic index in the central plasma sheet显示文摘This paper studies the effective polytropic index in the central plasma sheet(CPS) by using the method of Kartalev et al.(2006), which adopts the denoising technique of Haar wavelet to identify the homogeneous MHD Bernoulli integral(MBI) and has been frequently used to study the polytropic relation in the solar wind. We chose the quiet CPS crossing by Cluster C1 during the interval 08:51:00–09:19:00 UT on 03 August 2001. In the central plasma sheet, thermal pressure energy per unit mass is the most important part in MBI, and kinetic energy of fluid motion and electromagnetic energy per unit mass are less important. In the MBI, there are many peaks, which correspond to isothermal or near isothermal processes. The interval lengths of homogenous MBI regions are generally less than 1 min. The polytropic indexes are calculated by linearly fitting the data of lnp and lnn within a 16 s window, which is shifted forward by 8 s step length. Those polytropic indexes with |R|≥0.8(R is the correlation coefficient between lnp and lnn) and p-value≤0.1 in the homogeneous regions are almost all in the range of [0, 1]. The mean and median effective polytropic indexes with high R and low p-value in homogeneous regions are 0.34 and 0.32 respectively, which are much different from the polytropic index obtained by traditional method(?trad=?0.15). This result indicates that the CPS is not uniform even during quiet time and the blanket applications of polytropic law to plasma sheet may return misleading value of polytropic index. The polytropic indexes in homogeneous regions with a high correlation coefficient basically have good regression significance and are thus credible. 10Effects of a dipole-like crustal field on solar wind interaction with Mars显示文摘A three-dimensional four species multi-fluid magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) model was constructed to simulate the solar wind global interaction with Mars. The model was augmented to consider production and loss of the significant ion species in the Martian ionosphere, i.e., H^+, O2^+, O^+, CO^+2, associated with chemical reactions among all species. An ideal dipole-like local crustal field model was used to simplify the empirically measured Martian crustal field. Results of this simulation suggest that the magnetic pile-up region (MPR) and the velocity profile in the meridian plane are asymmetric, which is due to the nature of the multi-fluid model to decouple individual ion velocity resulting in occurrence of plume flow in the northern Martian magnetotail. In the presence of dipole magnetic field model, boundary layers, such as bow shock (BS) and magnetic pile-up boundary (MPB), become protuberant. Moreover, the crustal field has an inhibiting effect on the flux of ions escaping from Mars, an effect that occurs primarily in the region between the terminator (SZA 90°) and the Sun Mars line of the magnetotail (SZA 180°), partially around the terminator region. 11A Mechanoelectrical Coupling Model of Neurons under Stretching显示文摘Introduction Neurons are situated in a microenvironment composed of various biochemical and biophysical cues,where stretching is thought to have a major impact on neurons.For instance,during a moderate traumatic brain impact,the injury region in axons exhibits significant longitudinal strain;and in a rat model of spinal cord injury,the most severe axonal injury is located in the largest strain region.Stretching may result in microstructural changes in neural tissue and further leading to abnormal electrophysiological function.Hence,it is of great importance to understand the coupled mechanoelectricalbehaviors of neurons under stretching.In spite of significant experimental efforts,the underlying mechanism remains elusive,more works are needed to provide a detailed description of the process that leads to the observed phenomena.Mathematical modeling is a powerful tool that offers a quantitative description of the underlying mechanism of an observed biological phenomenon,including mechanical and electrophysiological behaviors of neurons.Thus,we developed a mechanoelectrical coupling model of neurons under stretching in this study.Mathematical model The mathematical model consists of three submodels,i.e.,the mechanical submodel,the mechanoelectrical coupling submodel and the electrophysiological submodel.The mechanical submodel deals with the relationship between stretching and the deformation of axons,which has specially considered the plastic deformation of axons.The electrophysiological submodel characterizes the feature of neuronal action potential(AP),which is based on the classical H-H model and the cable theory.The mechanoelectrical coupling submodel links the mechanical and electrophysiological submodels through strain-induced equivalent circuit parameter alteration and ion channel injury.Besides,we have discussed a more general deformation condition,where an expanded model coupling the axonal deformation and electrophysiology alteration was explored.As the most essential parameters in an electrophysiological assessment,the amplitude of the AP,the neuronal firing frequency and the electrophysiological signal conduction velocity,which could be affected by stretching,were used as outputs of the model.Results&discussion To understand the mechanoelectrical coupling of neurons under stretching,we developed a mechanoelectrical coupling model.To verify the model,we simulated a slow stretching on an axon following the experimental study in the literature,we observed that as the strain increases,the peak AP declines faster,which is consistent with the experimental data.Moreover,the reduced AP cannot be restored to the original peak,implying that the damage is irreversible.The simulation results also predict that strain induces a more frequent neuronal firing and a faster conduction.In a realistic situation,in addition to stretching,the loading condition is very complicated,which may induce complex axonal deformation(e.g., necking and swelling along the axons).We also simulated such necking deformation impairment and observed that the AP amplitude decreases at the necking region and recovers after that,indicating a blockage of the AP;and the conduction velocity decreases with the increase in deformation degree.Conclusions In this study,we developed a mechanoelectrical coupling model of neurons under stretching with consideration of axonal plastic deformation.With the model,we found that the effect of mechanical loading on electrophysiology mainly manifests as decreased membrane AP amplitude,a more frequent neuronal firing and a faster electrophysiological signal conduction.The model predicts not only stretch-induced injury but also a more gene ral necking deformation case,which may someday be revealed in future by experiments,providing a reference for the prediction and regulation of neuronal function under mechanical loadings.Jin Tian Guoyou Huang Min Lin Jinbin Qiu Baoyong Sha Tian Jian Lu Feng Xu 2019医用生物力学2019,34,A01:0

15Identification of a 10-pseudogenes signature as a novel prognosis biomarker for ovarian cancer显示文摘The outcomes of ovarian cancer are complicated and usually unfavorable due to their diagnoses at a late stage.Identifying the efficient prognostic biomarkers to improve the survival of ovarian cancer is urgently warranted.The survival-related pseudogenes retrieved from the Cancer Genome Atlas database were screened by univariate Cox regression analysis and further assessed by least absolute shrinkage and selection operator(LASSO)method.A risk score model based on the prognostic pseudogenes was also constructed.The pseudogene-mRNA regulatory networks were established using correlation analysis,and their potent roles in the ovarian cancer progression were uncovered by functional enrichment analysis.Lastly,ssGSEA and ESTIMATE algorithms was used to evaluate the levels of immune cell infiltrations in cancer tissues and explore their relationship with risk signature.A prediction model of 10-pseudogenes including RPL10P6,AC026688.1,FAR2P4,AL391840.2,AC068647.2,FAM35BP,GBP1P1,ARL4AP5,RPS3AP2,and AMD1P1 was established.The 10-pseudogenes signature was demonstrated to be an independent prognostic factor in patient with ovarian cancer in the random set(hazard ratio[HR]=2.512,95%confidence interval[CI]=2.03–3.11,P<0.001)and total set(HR=1.71,95%CI=1.472–1.988,P<0.001).When models integrating with age,grade,stage,and risk signature,the Area Under Curve(AUC)of the 1-year,3-year,5-year and 10-year Receiver Operating Characteristic curve in the random set and total set were 0.854,0.824,0.855,0.805 and 0.679,0.697,0.739,0.790,respectively.The results of functional enrichment analysis indicated that the underlying mechanisms by which these pseudogenes influence cancer prognosis may involve the immune-related biological processes and signaling pathways.Correlation analysis showed that risk signature was significantly correlated with immune cell infiltration and immune score.We identified a novel 10-pseudogenes signature to predict the survival of patients with ovarian cancer,and that may serve as novel possible prognostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets for ovarian cancer.YONGHUI YU SONGHUI XU ERYONG ZHAO YONGSHUN DONG JINBIN CHEN BOQI RAO JIE ZENG LEI YANG JIACHUN LU FUMAN QIU 2022BIOCELL2022,46,4:0
