| 1 | Convolutional neural networks for time series classification显示文摘Time series classification is an important task in time series data mining, and has attracted great interests and tremendous efforts during last decades. However, it remains a challenging problem due to the nature of time series data: high dimensionality,large in data size and updating continuously. The deep learning techniques are explored to improve the performance of traditional feature-based approaches. Specifically, a novel convolutional neural network(CNN) framework is proposed for time series classification. Different from other feature-based classification approaches,CNN can discover and extract the suitable internal structure to generate deep features of the input time series automatically by using convolution and pooling operations. Two groups of experiments are conducted on simulated data sets and eight groups of experiments are conducted on real-world data sets from different application domains. | 2 | Cenozoic Evolution of Sediments and Climate Change and Response to Tectonic Uplift of the Northeastern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Through a comprehensive study of magnetostratigraphy and sedimentology of several basins in the northeastern Tibetan Plateau, we reveal that the study area mainly experienced six tectonic uplift stages at approximately 52 Ma, 34–30 Ma, 24–20 Ma, 16–12 Ma, 8–6 Ma, and 3.6–2.6 Ma. Comprehensive analyses of pollen assemblages from the Qaidam, Linxia, Xining, and West Jiuquan Basins show that the northeastern Tibetan Plateau has undergone six major changes in vegetation types and climate: 50–40 Ma for the warm-humid forest vegetation, 40–23 Ma for the warm-arid and temperate-arid forest steppe vegetation, 23–18.6 Ma for the warm-humid and temperatehumid forest vegetation, 18.6–8.5 Ma for the warm-humid and cool-humid forest steppe vegetation, 8.6–5 Ma for the temperate sub-humid savanna steppe vegetation, and 5–1.8 Ma for the cold-arid steppe vegetation. | 3 | Layer-by-layer slot-die coated high-efficiency organic solar cells processed using twin boiling point solvents under ambient condition显示文摘Layer-by-layer (LbL) strategy has been developed to form bulk heterojunction (BHJ) structure for processing efficient organic solar cells (OSCs). Herein, LbL slot-die coating with twin boiling point solvents (TBPS) strategy was developed to fabricate highly efficient OSCs, which matches with large-scale, high throughput roll-to-roll (R2R) industrialized mass process. The TBPS strategy could produce high-quality thin film without any additive, leading to the optimized vertical phase separation with interpenetrating nanostructures, as well as the enhanced charge transport and extraction. | 4 | Bioactive glass promotes the barrier functional behaviors of keratinocytes and improves the Re-epithelialization in wound healing in diabetic rats显示文摘Upon skin injury,re-epithelialization must be triggered promptly to restore the integrity and barrier function of the epidermis.However,this process is often delayed or interrupted in chronic wounds like diabetic foot ulcers.Considering that BG particles can activate multiple genes in various cells,herein,we hypothesized that bioactive glass(BG)might be able to modulate the barrier functional behaviors of keratinocytes.By measuring the transepithelial electrical resistance(TEER)and the paracellular tracer flux,we found the 58S-BG extracts substantially enhanced the barrier function of keratinocyte monolayers.The BG extracts might exert such effects by promoting the keratinocyte differentiation and the formation of tight junctions,as evidenced by the increased expression of critical differentiation markers(K10 and involucrin)and TJ protein claudin-1,as well as the altered subcellular location of four major TJ proteins(claudin-1,occludin,JAM-A,and ZO-1).Besides,the cell scratch assay showed that BG extracts induced the collective migration of keratinocytes,though they did not accelerate the migration rate compared to the control.The in vivo study using a diabetic rat wound model demonstrated that the BG extracts accelerated the process of re-epithelialization,stimulated keratinocyte differentiation,and promoted the formation of tight junctions in the newly regenerated epidermis.Our findings revealed the crucial effects of BGs on keratinocytes and highlighted its potential application for chronic wound healing by restoring the barrier function of the wounded skin effectively. | Fengling Tang Junliang Li Weihan Xie Yunfei Mo Lu Ouyang Fujian Zhao Xiaoling Fu Xiaofeng Chen | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,10: | 1 |
| 5 | Micro-motion dynamics analysis of ballistic targets based on infrared detection显示文摘The dynamic characteristics related to micro-motions,such as mechanical vibration or rotation, play an essential role in classifying and recognizing ballistic targets in the midcourse, and recent researches explore ways of extracting the micro-motion features from radar signals of ballistic targets. In this paper, we focus on how to investigate the micro-motion dynamic characteristics of the ballistic targets from the signals based on infrared(IR) detection, which is mainly achieved by analyzing the periodic fluctuation characteristics of the target IR irradiance intensity signatures.Simulation experiments demonstrate that the periodic characteristics of IR signatures can be used to distinguish different micromotion types and estimate related parameters.
