4Cratering process and morphological features of the Xiuyan impact crater in Northeast China显示文摘By using crater impact morphological theory and mathematics modeling,the paper studies the cratering process and morphological features of the Xiuyan Crater in Northeast China based on remote sensing imagery,digital elevation model(DEM)and drilling and measuring data.The results show that:1)Simulated calculation indicates the diameter of the transient crater was1406±12 m and the depth was 497±4 m.The diameter of the final crater was 1758±15 m and the depth was 374.5±3.5 m;the thickness of the breccia lens was 188.5±0.5 m.The data is basically the same as previous drilling data.2)Preliminary determination of the size of Xiuyan impactor:The diameter at about 55 m for an iron meteorite,and about 115 m for a stony meteorite.3)The depth-to-diameter ratio is 0.143,similar to the typical simple crater.The circularity index of the Xiuyan Crater is0.884,indicating erosion and degradation.4)The distribution pattern of radial fractures has priority in NW-SE and WNW-ESE and these fractures control the development and evolution of drainage inside the crater.WANG XinYuan LUO Lei GUO HuaDong MU LingLi LI Chao JI Wei CAI Heng 2013Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,10:4
5Effects of cerium substitution on phase components, microstructures and magnetic properties of Nd-Fe-Ti-B alloy显示文摘(Nd(1-x)Cex)(12)Fe(77)Ti5B6(x=0,0.2,0.3,0.4,0.6,0.8)alloys were prepared by melt-spinning and annealing techniques.The phase constitutions,microstructures and magnetic properties were investigated by powder X-ray diffraction(XRD),a differential scanning calorimeter(DSC),a vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM)and a transmission electron microscope(TEM).It is found that with the increase of Ce content,the coercivity of the(Nd(1-x)Cex)(12)Fe(77)Ti5B6 alloys reaches maximum first and then decreases.The maximum coercivity reaches 18.5 kOe obtained in the sample of 20%Ce substituted which is 34%higher than the Ce-free sample.TEM results reveal that the micro structure refinement effect is responsible for the coercivity improvement.This phenomenon implies that in some cases,Ce and Ti co-doping is more beneficial to improving of the coercivity than Ti single doping in Nd-Fe-B alloys.With further Ce addition,magnetic properties deteriorate due to the formation of CeFe2 and TbCu7-type phases.Haijun Peng Yang Luo Yakun Dou Xinyuan Bai Wenlong Yan Dunbo Yu Yuanfei Yang Shulin Diao 2019Journal of Rare Earths2019,37,8:4
6Land cover changes and the effects of cultivation on soil properties in Shelihu wetland,Horqin Sandy Land,Northern China显示文摘Land cover change plays an essential role in the alternation of soils properties.By field investigation and applying satellite images,land cover information in the Shelihu wetland was carried out in an area of 2,819 hm 2 in 1985,1995,2000,2005,2010 and 2011,respectively,in Horqin Sandy Land.A total of 57 soil sampling sites across Shelihu were chosen in wet meadow(CL0),cropland(CL) and sandy land(SL) according to the spatial characteristics of water body change.Soil texture,organic carbon(SOC),total nitrogen(TN) and total phosphorus(TP) contents,electrical conductivity(EC) and pH were measured at the soil depths of 0-10,10-20 and 20-40 cm to examine the influence of agricultural conversion and continuous cultivation on soil properties.The results showed that the study area was covered by water body in 1985,which gradually declined afterwards and then reclaimed rapidly at a mean annual rate of 132.1 hm 2 /a from wet meadow to cropland since 1995.In 2011,water body was drained and the area was occupied by 10.8% of CL0,76.9% of CL and 12.3% of SL.Large amounts of SOC,TN and TP were accumulated in the above depths in CL0.Soil in CL0 also had higher EC and silt and clay fractions,lower pH than in SL and CL.Soil in SL was seriously degraded with lower contents of SOC,TN and TP than in CL and CL0.SOC,TN content and EC in CL decreased with the increase of cultivation age,while pH showed a reverse trend with significance at plough horizon.The agricultural conversion in Shelihu was driven by the comprehensive factors of precipitation reduction,economic development and intense competitions for irrigation water.Continuous cultivation in this process is not sustainable because of SOC degradation and nutrient content reduction.The key point is that conventional tillage and removal of residuals induced further land degradation.Wetland reclamation for immediate economic interests led to greater costs in the long-term environmental restoration in Horqin Sandy Land.Jie LIANI XueYong ZHAO XiaoAn ZUO ShaoKun WANG XinYuan WANG YongQing LUO 2013Journal of Arid Land2013,5,1:4
7Magnetic properties enhancement of hot-deformed NdFeB magnets by two different methods of CeNdCu diffusion显示文摘Two different ways were used to control the distribution of cerium for the enhancement of coercivity.One was by coating CeNdCu in the prepared magnet and annealing to make CeNdCu diffuse into the grain boundary to increase the coercivity,the other was by mixing CeNdCu with initial magnetic powders and then preparing the hot-deformed magnet.The SEM-EDS result indicates that cerium diffuses more easily into the main phase by the mixing way,while cerium is mainly distributed in the grain boundary via the coating way.The heat-treatment process may be one of the dominant influencing factors for the distribution of Ce,Multi-steps heat treatment in the mixing way,consisting of hot-pressing,hot-deforming and post heat process,easily introduces Ce into the main phase Nd2 Fe14B,which forms the Ce2 Fe14B shell resulting in the decrease of HA.But the coating way can ensure uniform dispersion of Ce in the grain boundary,which leads to the high coercivity.Guibing Shi Zilong Wang Xinyuan Bai Wenlong Yan Yang Luo Dunbo Yu 2020Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,12:3

9Magnetic properties and microstructures of terbium coated and grain boundary diffusion treated sintered Nd-Fe-B magnets by magnetron sputtering显示文摘Tb coating on the surface of commercial sintered Nd-Fe-B magnet was prepared by DC magnetron sputtering.The secondary heat treatment was used to regulate the microstructure for the enhancement of coercivity,namely diffusion treatment and annealing treatment.The coercivity increases significantly from 18.3 to 28.0 kOe,the remanence decreases slightly from 14.1 to 14.0 kGs,and the comprehensive magnetic properties are higher than 75(Hcj+(BH)_(max)=76.7).SEM results indicate that,on the one hand,950℃is the optimal diffusion temperature.Lower diffusion temperature results in insufficient diffusion of Tb element.Higher diffusion temperature can lead to the main phase grain growth,the decrease of Nd-rich phase,and forming holes in the magnet.On the other hand,500℃is the optimal annealing temperature.Lower annealing temperature can result in the reduction of Nd-rich phase.Higher annealing temperature can generate the non-defined Nd-rich thin layer between grains.Wei Zhu Yang Luo Zilong Wang Xinyuan Bai Haijun Peng Dunbo Yu 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,2:2

12Effects of grain boundary diffusion of PrCu alloy on microstructure and coercivity of hot deformed(Nd,Ce)-Fe-B magnets显示文摘The technology of using high abundance rare earth element Ce in permanent magnets has attracted many concerns.In this work,the magnetic properties and microstructures of hot deformed(Nd_(1-x)Ce_(x))_(13.8)Fe_(76.1)Co_(4)Ga_(0.5)B_(5.6) magnets and a selective magnet treated with PrCu grain boundary diffusion process(GBDP) were investigated systematically.It is found that Ce is beneficial to improving the plastic deformation ability of NdFeB magnets.The strongest c-axis orientation is achieved in the HD magnets with Ce concentration of x=0.3,resulting in good comprehensive magnetic properties of B_(r)=13.00 kGs,H_(cj)=10.12 kOe,(BH)_(max)=38.42 MGOe.Based on that,the GBDP was implemented on the magnets with the best orientation using Pr_(68)Cu_(32) ribbons and the magnetic properties of B_(r)=12.87 kGs,H_(cj)=15.65 kOe,(BH)_(max)=37.48 MGOe were obtained.The results of composition distribution and Curie temperature test of the GBDPed magnets illustrate that Pr diffuses into the(Nd,Ce)_(2)(Fe,Co)_(14)B grains to substitute Ce,which not only improves the Curie temperature of the grains,but also enhances the magnetic performance of the magnets.Through GBDP,the thermal stability of magnets has also been improved.Haijun Peng Dunbo Yu Xinyuan Bai Xiao Lin Yongjun Mao Zilong Wang Yang Luo 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,8:1
13Facing small and biased data dilemma in drug discovery with enhanced federated learning approaches显示文摘Artificial intelligence(AI)models usually require large amounts of high-quality training data,which is in striking contrast to the situation of small and biased data faced by current drug discovery pipelines.The concept of federated learning has been proposed to utilize distributed data from different sources without leaking sensitive information of the data.This emerging decentralized machine learning paradigm is expected to dramatically improve the success rate of AI-powered drug discovery.Here,we simulated the federated learning process with different property and activity datasets from different sources,among which overlapping molecules with high or low biases exist in the recorded values.Beyond the benefit of gaining more data,we also demonstrated that federated training has a regularization effect superior to centralized training on the pooled datasets with high biases.Moreover,different network architectures for clients and aggregation algorithms for coordinators have been compared on the performance of federated learning,where personalized federated learning shows promising results.Our work demonstrates the applicability of federated learning in predicting drug-related properties and highlights its promising role in addressing the small and biased data dilemma in drug discovery.Zhaoping Xiong Ziqiang Cheng Xinyuan Lin Chi Xu Xiaohong Liu Dingyan Wang Xiaomin Luo Yong Zhang Hualiang Jiang Nan Qiao Mingyue Zheng 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,3:1
14Synergistic effect of various elements in Fe_(41)Co_(7)Cr_(15)Mo_(14)C_(15)B_(6)Y_(2) amorphous alloy hollow ball on catalytic degradation of methylene blue显示文摘Metallic glasses have recently attracted great attention in terms of degrading dyes and other organic pollutants as an environmentally friendly material for wastewater remediation.Herein,we report a new type of amorphous catalyst Fe_(41)Co_(7)Cr_(15)Mo_(14)C_(15)B_(6)Y_(2) hollow balls.Results demonstrate that the catalyst can still completely decolorize the 20 mg/L methylene blue(MB)solution after reused for 50 times under conditions of pH=5,catalyst content 0.5 g/L,and temperature 80°C.The catalyst is easily broken during degradation,so the inner surface also provides additional active sites.The Fe_(41)Co_(7)Cr_(15)Mo_(14)C_(15)B_(6)Y_(2) amorphous alloy hollow balls were characterized by energy dispersive X-ray specroscopy(EDS),scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),respectively.The elements in the catalytic system have a synergistic catalytic effect.Redox cycle Fe^(2+)/Fe^(3+),Co^(2+)/Co^(3+)and Mo^(4+)/Mo^(6+) promote mutual conversion and accelerate the catalytic process of their reaction with H_(2)O_(2),forming a self-stable redox cycle process.Among them,Fe^(2+)promotes the conversion of Co^(3+)to Co^(2+),and Mo^(4+) promotes the conversion of Fe^(3+)to Fe^(2+),mainly Fe^(2+)and Co^(2+)react with H_(2)O_(2) to generate•OH.Mo and Cr elements form MoO_(2) and Cr_(2)O_(3) plasma compounds on the surface,which act as a protective film to make the catalyst more stable and be repeated used more frequently.Wenhu Luo Qingjun Chen Li Ji Xinyuan Peng Guosheng Huang 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,4:1
15Vaccination of Goats with 31 kDa and 32 kDa Schistosoma japonicum Antigens by DNA Priming and Protein Boosting显示文摘Two Schistosoma japonicum vaccine candidate antigens Sj 31 and Sj 32, which have shown particular promise to induce protective immunity in mice, were used to immunize goats by using a DNA priming-protein boosting strategy in present work. DNA vaccine formulations of the two antigens (VRSj31 and VRSj32) were produced and injected intramuscularly twice at a 2-week interval and then recombinant proteins (rSj31 and rSj32) together with Freund Complete Adjuvant (FCA) were used to boost the goats. The experiment was repeated in different batche cercariae. A strong anamnestic antibody response was induced after boost. A significant reduction of liver egg counts and miracidial hatching was showed in both experiments. 17Nitrogen-Doped Carbon Nanotube-Supported Pd Catalyst for Improved Electrocatalytic Performance toward Ethanol Electrooxidation显示文摘In this study, hydrothermal carbonization(HTC)was applied for surface functionalization of carbon nanotubes(CNTs) in the presence of glucose and urea. The HTC process allowed the deposition of thin nitrogen-doped carbon layers on the surface of the CNTs. By controlling the ratio of glucose to urea, nitrogen contents of up to 1.7 wt%were achieved. The nitrogen-doped carbon nanotube-supported Pd catalysts exhibited superior electrochemical activity for ethanol oxidation relative to the pristine CNTs.Importantly, a 1.5-fold increase in the specific activity was observed for the Pd/HTC-N1.67%CNTs relative to the catalyst without nitrogen doping(Pd/HTC-CNTs). 18Basic Characteristics of a New Flexible Pneumatic Bending Joint显示文摘Several typical flexible pneumatic actuators(FPA) and different mechanical models describing their behaviors have been proposed, however, it is difficult to balance compliance and load capacity in conventional designs, and these models still have limitations in predicting behavior of FPAs. A new flexible pneumatic bending joint(FPBJ) with special anisotropic rigidity structure is proposed. The FPBJ is developed as an improvement with regard to existing types of FPA, and its principal characteristic is derived from the special anisotropic rigidity structure. With this structure, the load capacity in the direction perpendicular to bending plane is strengthened. The structure of the new FPBJ is explained and a mathematical model is derived based on Euler-Bernoulli beam model and Hook's law. To obtain optimum design and usage, some key structure parameters and input-output characteristics are simulated. The simulation results reveal that the relationship between the structure parameters and FPBJ's bending angle is nonlinear. At last, according to the simulation results, the FPBJ is manufactured with optional parameters and tested. The experimental results show that the joint's statics characteristics are reflected by the mathematical model accurately when the FPBJ is deflated. The maximum relative error between simulation and experimental results is less than 6%. However, the model still has limitations. When the joint is inflated, the maximum relative error reaches 20%. 19Industrial Carbon Emission Distribution and Regional Joint Emission Reduction:A Case Study of Cities in the Pearl River Basin,China显示文摘China’s low-carbon development path will make significant contributions to achieving global sustainable development goals.Due to the diverse natural and economic conditions across different regions in China,there exists an imbalance in the distribution of car-bon emissions.Therefore,regional cooperation serves as an effective means to attain low-carbon development.This study examined the pattern of carbon emissions and proposed a potential joint emission reduction strategy by utilizing the industrial carbon emission intens-ity(ICEI)as a crucial factor.We utilized social network analysis and Local Indicators of Spatial Association(LISA)space-time trans-ition matrix to investigate the spatiotemporal connections and discrepancies of ICEI in the cities of the Pearl River Basin(PRB),China from 2010 to 2020.The primary drivers of the ICEI were determined through geographical detectors and multi-scale geographically weighted regression.The results were as follows:1)the overall ICEI in the Pearl River Basin is showing a downward trend,and there is a significant spatial imbalance.2)There are numerous network connections between cities regarding the ICEI,but the network structure is relatively fragile and unstable.3)Economically developed cities such as Guangzhou,Foshan,and Dongguan are in the center of the network while playing an intermediary role.4)Energy consumption,industrialization,per capita GDP,urbanization,science and techno-logy,and productivity are found to be the most influential variables in the spatial differentiation of ICEI,and their combination in-creased the explanatory power of the geographic variation of ICEI.Finally,through the analysis of differences and connections in urban carbon emissions under different economic levels and ICEI,the study suggests joint carbon reduction strategies,which are centered on carbon transfer,financial support,and technological assistance among cities.JIANG Hongtao YIN Jian ZHANG Bin WEI Danqi LUO Xinyuan DING Yi XIA Ruici 2024Chinese Geographical Science2024,34,2:0
