1Bosonic quantum error correction codes in superconducting quantum circuits显示文摘Quantum information is vulnerable to environmental noise and experimental imperfections,hindering the reli-ability of practical quantum information processors.Therefore,quantum error correction(QEC)that can pro-tect quantum information against noise is vital for universal and scalable quantum computation.Among many different experimental platforms,superconducting quantum circuits and bosonic encodings in superconducting microwave modes are appealing for their unprecedented potential in QEC.During the last few years,bosonic QEC is demonstrated to reach the break-even point,i.e.the lifetime of a logical qubit is enhanced to exceed that of any individual components composing the experimental system.Beyond that,universal gate sets and fault-tolerant operations on the bosonic codes are also realized,pushing quantum information processing towards the QEC era.In this article,we review the recent progress of the bosonic codes,including the Gottesman-Kitaev-Preskill codes,cat codes,and binomial codes,and discuss the opportunities of bosonic codes in various quantum applications,ranging from fault-tolerant quantum computation to quantum metrology.We also summarize the challenges associated with the bosonic codes and provide an outlook for the potential research directions in the long terms.Weizhou Cai Yuwei Ma Weiting Wang Chang-Ling Zou Luyan Sun 2021Fundamental Research2021,1,1:3
2Experimental repetitive quantum channel simulation显示文摘Universal control of quantum systems is a major goal to be achieved for quantum information processing,which demands thorough understanding of fundamental quantum mechanics and promises applications of quantum technologies. So far, most studies concentrate on ideally isolated quantum systems governed by unitary evolutions, while practical quantum systems are open and described by quantum channels due to their inevitable coupling to environment. Here, we experimentally simulate arbitrary quantum channels for an open quantum system, i.e. a single photonic qubit in a superconducting quantum circuit.The arbitrary channel simulation is achieved with minimum resource of only one ancilla qubit and measurement-based adaptive control. By repetitively implementing the quantum channel simulation,we realize an arbitrary Liouvillian for a continuous evolution of an open quantum system for the first time. 3Degradable Hybrid CuS Nanoparticles for Imaging-Guided Synergistic Cancer Therapy via Low-Power NIR-II Light Excitation显示文摘Near-infrared(NIR)-II light-excitable photonic agents capable of generating tumor hyperthermia and cytotoxic free radicals are promising for synergistic phototherapy of tumors.However,the lack of NIR-II excitable agents makes it challenging to achieve combinational tumor phototherapy.Here,the authors have reported on a tumor-targeting and degradable hybrid copper sulfide(CuS)nanoparticle(AIBA@CuS-FA)via loading a hydrophilic Azo initiator(AIBA)into an amphiphilic lipid-encapsulating CuS nanoparticle.AIBA@CuS-FA shows high photothermal conversion efficiency(PCE≈47.5%)at 1064 nm,enabling heat production to trigger tumor hyperthermia and thermal decomposition of AIBA into cytotoxic free alkyl radicals upon irradiation with a 1064-nm laser under low-power density(0.5 W/cm2).Moreover,alkyl radicals can drive degradation of AIBA@CuS-FA and embedded CuS nanodisks,releasing Cu^(2+)ions that can catalyze a Fenton-like reaction for hydroxyl radical(•OH)production to promote tumor therapy.Findings demonstrate promise for combinational photothermal therapy(PTT),oxygen-independent alkyl radical therapy,and chemodynamic therapy(CDT)of tumors.Yidan Sun Hua Shi Xiaoyang Cheng Luyan Wu Yuqi Wang Zhengyang Zhou Jian He Hong-Yuan Chen Deju Ye 2021CCS Chemistry2021,3,5:2

5Study on Hyperspectral Estimation Model of Chlorophyll Content in Grape Leaves显示文摘In view of the shortage of using traditional methods to monitor chlorophyll content,hyperspectral technology was used to estimate the chlorophyll content of grape leaves rapidly,accurately and non-destructively. Based on the data of hyperspectral reflectivity and SPAD value of grape leaves collected from Wanjishan grape planting base in Tai'an,the correlations of SPAD value with the original spectral reflectivity of grape leaves and its first derivative were analyzed to select sensitive bands,and an estimation model of chlorophyll content in grape leaves based on hyperspectral reflectivity was established. 7An activatable ratiometric near-infrared fluorescent probe for hydrogen sulfide imaging in vivo显示文摘Ratiometric fluorescent probes hold great promise for in vivo imaging;however,stimuli-activatable ratiometric probes with fluorescence emissions in near-infrared(NIR)region are still very few.Herein,we report a hydrogen sulfide(H_2S)-activatable ratiometric NIR fluorescent probe(1-SPN)by integrating a H_2S-responsive NIR fluorescent probe 1 into a H_2S-inert poly[2,6-(4,4-bis-(2-ethylhexyl)-4 H-cyclopenta[2,1-b;3,4-b′]dithiophene)-alt-4,7(2,1,3-benzothiadiazole)](PCPDTBT)-based NIR semiconducting polymer nanoparticle(SPN).1-SPN shows'always on'PCPDTBT fluorescence at 830 nm and weak probe 1 fluorescence at 725 nm under excitation at 680 nm.The ratio of NIR fluorescence intensities between 725 and 830 nm(I_(725)/I_(830))is small.Upon interaction with H_2S,the fluorescence at 725 nm is rapidly switched on,resulting in a large enhancement of I_(725)/I_(830),which is allowed for sensitive visualization and quantification of H_2S concentrations in living cells.Taking advantage of enhanced tissue penetration depth of NIR fluorescence,1-SPN is also applied for real-time ratiometric fluorescence imaging of hepatic and tumor H_2S in living mice.This study demonstrates that activatable ratiometric NIR fluorescent probes hold great potential for in vivo imaging.Luyan Wu Wenhui Zeng Liandong Feng Yuxuan Hu Yidan Sun Yingxiao Yan Hong-Yuan Chen Deju Ye 2020Science China Chemistry2020,63,5:0

9External control of qubit-photon interaction and multi-qubit reset in a dissipative quantum network显示文摘A quantum network is a promising quantum many-body system because of its tailored geometry and controllable interaction. Here,we propose an external control scheme for the qubit-photon interaction and multiqubit reset in a dissipative quantum network,which comprises superconducting circuit chains with microwave drives and filter-filter couplings. The traditional multiqubit reset of the quantum network requires physically disconnected qubits to prevent their entanglement. However, we use an original effect of dissipation, i.e., consuming the entanglement generated by qubits’ interaction, to achieve an external control of the multiqubit reset in an always-connected superconducting circuit. The reset time is independent of the number of qubits in the quantum network. 11Research on Estimation Models of Chlorophyll Content in Apple Leaves Based on Imaging Hyperspectral Data显示文摘In view of the shortage of using traditional methods to monitor chlorophyll content,hyperspectral technology was used to estimate the chlorophyll content of apple leaves rapidly,accurately and non-destructively. Based on the data of hyperspectral reflectivity and SPAD value of normal apple leaves and the leaves under the stress of red spiders collected from the Wanjishan base in Tai'an,the correlations of SPAD value with the original spectral reflectivity of apple leaves and its first derivative and between SPAD value and high spectral value were analyzed to select sensitive bands,and the estimation models of chlorophyll content in apple leaves based on hyperspectral reflectivity were established. The sensitive bands of chlorophyll content in normal apple leaves were 513-539,564-585,694,699 and 720 nm,and the best estimation model of chlorophyll content was SPAD = 152. 450-1 884. 851 R377. 12Spectral Characteristics Comparison of Two Summer Corn Cultivars under Different Fertilization Treatments显示文摘This study is aimed to explore the spectrum reflection characteristics of summer corn leaves in different fertilization conditions.Using hyperspectral remote sensing technology,the experiments were conducted in fields to collect the hyperspectral images of Denghai 605( DH605) and Ludan 981( LD981) in different growth period under five fertilization treatments,and then the reflectance of corn ear leaves was extracted by ENVI software. The five fertilization treatments included the control( CK) with no fertilization,40 kg and 30 kg of controlled-release fertilizer per 666. 67 m2 as base( K40 and K30),50 kg and 40 kg of compound fertilizer per 666. 67 m2 as base with 15 kg urea as seed fertilizer( F50 + N and F40 + N). The reflectance spectrums of the two corn cultivars under different fertilization treatments showed the approximately same changing trend with a reflection peak at green band( 550 nm) and a higher reflection platform at near infrared band( 760 nm-1050 nm). At the heading to filling stage,the reflectance of DH605 and LD981 was the highest under the CK,followed by the K30 and F40 + N respectively. At the filling to dough stage,the reflectance of DH605 and LD981 was the highest under the treatment K30 and F40 + N respectively,which was obviously higher than that of the other treatments. In the conditions of compound fertilizer,except the late filling stage,LD981 had little higher reflectance than DH605 at the other stages. 14Surface chemical structure of titania-silica nanocomposite powder显示文摘Titania-silica (TS) nanocomposite powder with three different composite structures, containing 10―30 mol% SiO2 in each structure, have been prepared by sol-gel processes. The surface characteristics of these titania-silica samples have been investigated by X-ray photo-emission spectroscopy (XPS) and high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). The study for all TS oxides annealed at 773 and 1173 K showed: an abnormal surface enrichment in Si increased with increasing annealing temperature; the Ti3+, Ti2+, Si3+ and Si2+ oxides coexisted with Ti4+ and Si4+ oxides, and the contents of these Ti/Si suboxides increased with increasing SiO2 content and annealing temperature; there was a layer rich in O on the topmost surface and the excess O could be attributed to the chemadsorption of H2O; different composite structures could lead to different contents of Ti/Si suboxides. These results indi- cated that the surface of TS oxide powder derived by sol-gel process was a double layer with enriched O first and then SiOx/TiOy (x, y<2). 15Thermal Runaway Characteristics and Modeling of LiFePO4 Power Battery for Electric Vehicles显示文摘LiFePO_(4)(LFP)lithium-ion batteries have gained widespread use in electric vehicles due to their safety and longevity,but thermal runaway(TR)incidents still have been reported.This paper explores the TR characteristics and modeling of LFP batteries at different states of charge(SOC).Adiabatic tests reveal that TR severity increases with SOC,and five stages are identified based on battery temperature evolution.Reaction kinetics parameters of exothermic reactions in each TR stage are extracted,and TR models for LFP batteries are established.The models accurately simulate TR behaviors at different SOCs,and the simulated TR characteristic temperatures also agree well with the experimental results,with errors of TR characteristic temperatures less than 3%.The prediction errors of TR characteristic temperatures under oven test conditions are also less than 1%.The results provide a comprehensive understanding of TR in LFP batteries,which is useful for battery safety design and optimization.Tao Sun Luyan Wang Dongsheng Ren Zhihe Shi Jie Chen Yuejiu Zheng Xuning Feng Xuebing Han Languang Lu Li Wang Xiangming He Minggao Ouyang 2023Automotive Innovation2023,6,3:0
