Gastric cancer: Epidemiology, risk factors and prevention strategies显示文摘Gastric cancer(GC) is a global health problem, with more than 1 million people newly diagnosed with GC worldwide each year. GC is more prevalent in less developed countries than in more developed countries. About half of all GC cases worldwide occur in East Asia, notably China. Globally, overall incidence rates of GC are declining, which is potentially attributed to a decrease in Helicobacter pylori(H. pylori) infection and the use of refrigeration to preserve foods rather than salt. GC is a multifactorial disease, and its occurrence and development were impacted by environmental and genetic factors. H. pylori infection is the primary risk factor for GC, especially for non-cardia. The prognosis of GC is poor due to stages at the first diagnosis. The 5-year survival rate is less than 10% when patients are diagnosed at an advanced stage, but the rate is as high as 85% if patients are detected at an earlier stage. Endoscopic screening can potentially prevent GC by early diagnosis and early treatment and has been widely adopted in screening programs in East Asian countries, such as Japan and Korea. This review summarizes updated epidemiological aspects, risk factors, and prevention strategies of GC in recent years to help researchers determine the most effective intervention strategies for reducing risk of GC. | Lei Yang Xiangji Ying Shuo Liu Guoqing Lyu Zekuan Xu Xi Zhang Huichao Li Qingyu Li Ning Wang Jiafu Ji | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,6: | 52

Effects of citrus tree-shape and spraying height of small unmanned aerial vehicle on droplet distribution显示文摘In order to explore the droplet penetration of spraying with unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)on citrus trees with different shapes, the tests were carried out at different working heights. The material was five years old Cocktail grapefruit(Citrus paradisi cv.Cocktail)grafted on Trafoliata(Poncirus trifoliata L.Raf.)and the type of UAV sprayer used was the 3W-LWS-Q60S.A solution of 300 times Ponceau 2R diluents liquid instead of pesticide was used for citrus fields spraying and the droplets were collected by paper cards.Droplets deposition parameters were extracted and analyzed using digital image processing after scanning the cards. The results showed that:1)For the trees with round head shape canopy, the droplet depositions of the upper, middle and lower layers had a significant difference at 0.05 level. The droplet deposition had the best effect when the working height was 1.0 m,where the average droplet deposition densities were 39.97 droplets/cm2 and the average droplet size was 0.30 mm,but the droplet coverage(3.19%)was lower than that at the working height of 1.5 m(4.27%).2)Under three different working heights of UAV,the tree with open center shape can obtain higher droplet deposition density at all three layers than that with the round head shape canopy. It was especially prominent when the working height was 1.0 m,as the middle layer increased by 49.92%.However,the higher range of droplet deposition density meant larger fluctuation and dispersion.3)The open center shape canopy and the 1.0 m working height obviously improved the droplet coverage rate and droplet density in the citrus plant. For these parameters of open center shape citrus tree, there was no obvious difference in the front and rear direction, but in the left and middle part of the tree crown, the difference reached a 0.05 significant level.Considering droplet deposition characteristics and the spray uniformity, the UAV performed better when working on open center shape plants at a 1.0 m working height. | Zhang Pan Deng Lie Lyu Qiang He Shaolan Yi Shilai Liu Yande Yu Yongxu Pan Haiyang | 2016 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,4: | 37

The Association of Maternal Body Composition and Dietary Intake with the Risk of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus during the Second Trimester in a Cohort of Chinese Pregnant Women显示文摘Objective To investigate the association of maternal body composition and dietary intake with the risk of gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM). Methods A total 154 GDM subjects and 981 controls were enrolled in a prospective cohort study in 11 hospitals from May 20, 2012 to December 31, 2013. Bioelectrical impedance analysis and dietary surveys were used to determine body composition and to evaluate the intake of nutrients in subjects at 21-24 weeks' gestation(WG). Logistic regression analysis was applied to explore the relationships of maternal body composition and dietary intake with the risk of GDM morbidity. Results Age, pre-pregnant body weight(BW), and body mass index(BMI) were associated with increased risk of GDM. Fat mass(FM), fat mass percentage(FMP), extracellular water(ECW), BMI, BW, energy, protein, fat, and carbohydrates at 21-24 WG were associated with an increased risk of GDM. In contrast, fat free mass(FFM), muscular mass(MM), and intracellular water(ICW) were associated with a decreased risk of GDM. Conclusion Maternal body composition and dietary intake during the second trimester of pregnancy were associated with the risk of GDM morbidity. | Xu Qing Gao Zhi Ying Li Li Ming Wang Lu Zhang Qian Teng Yue Zhao Xia Ge Sheng Jing Hong Jiang Yang Yong Tao Liu Xiao Jun Lyu Chun Jian Mao Lun Yu Xiao Ming Liu Ying Hua Kong Ai Jing Yang Xue Yan Liu Zhao Zhang Yong Wang Jin Zhang Xin Sheng Xue Chang Yong Lu Yan Ping | 2016 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2016,29,1: | 29
Three-dimensional path planning for unmanned aerial vehicle based on interfered fluid dynamical system显示文摘This paper proposes a method for planning the three-dimensional path for low-flying unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) in complex terrain based on interfered fluid dynamical system(IFDS) and the theory of obstacle avoidance by the flowing stream. With no requirement of solutions to fluid equations under complex boundary conditions, the proposed method is suitable for situations with complex terrain and different shapes of obstacles. Firstly, by transforming the mountains, radar and anti-aircraft fire in complex terrain into cylindrical, conical, spherical, parallelepiped obstacles and their combinations, the 3D low-flying path planning problem is turned into solving streamlines for obstacle avoidance by fluid flow. Secondly, on the basis of a unified mathematical expression of typical obstacle shapes including sphere, cylinder, cone and parallelepiped, the modulation matrix for interfered fluid dynamical system is constructed and 3D streamlines around a single obstacle are obtained. Solutions to streamlines with multiple obstacles are then derived using weighted average of the velocity field. Thirdly, extra control force method and virtual obstacle method are proposed to deal with the stagnation point and the case of obstacles' overlapping respectively. Finally, taking path length and flight height as sub-goals, genetic algorithm(GA) is used to obtain optimal 3D path under the maneuverability constraints of the UAV. Simulation results show that the environmental modeling is simple and the path is smooth and suitable for UAV. Theoretical proof is also presented to show that the proposed method has no effect on the characteristics of fluid avoiding obstacles. | Wang Honglun Lyu Wentao Yao Peng Liang Xiao Liu Chang | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2015,28,1: | 27
The TanSat mission: preliminary global observations显示文摘The Chinese global carbon dioxide monitoring satellite (Tan Sat) was launched successfully in December2016 and has completed its on-orbit tests and calibration. Tan Sat aims to measure the atmospheric column-averaged dry air mole fractions of carbon dioxide (XCO_2) with a precision of 4 ppm at the regional scale, and in addition, to derive global and regional CO2fluxes. Progress towards these objectives is reviewed and the first scientific results from Tan Sat measurements are presented. Tan Sat on-orbit tests indicate that the Atmospheric Carbon dioxide Grating Spectrometer is in normal working status and is beginning to produce L1B products. The preliminary Tan Sat XCO_2products have been retrieved by an algorithm and compared to NASA Orbiting Carbon Observatory-2 (OCO-2) measurements during an overlapping observation period. Furthermore, the XCO_2retrievals have been validated against eight groundsite measurement datasets from the Total Carbon Column Observing Network, for which the preliminary conclusion is that Tan Sat has met the precision design requirement, with an average bias of 2.11 ppm.The first scientific observations are presented, namely, the seasonal distributions of XCO_2over land on a global scale. | Yi Liu Jing Wang Lu Yao Xi Chen Zhaonan Cai Dongxu Yang Zengshan Yin Songyan Gu Longfei Tian Naimeng Lu Daren Lyu | 2018 | Science Bulletin2018,63,18: | 23
Status of glycosylated hemoglobin and prediction of glycemic control among patients with insulin-treated type 2 diabetes in North China:a multicenter observational study显示文摘Background:Blood glucose control is closely related to type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)prognosis.This multicenter study aimed to investigate blood glucose control among patients with insulin-treated T2DM in North China and explore the application value of combining an elastic network(EN)with a machine-learning algorithm to predict glycemic control. Methods:Basic information, biochemical indices, and diabetes-related data were collected via questionnaire from 2787 consecutive participants recruited from 27 centers in six cities between January 2016 and December 2017.An EN regression was used to address variable collinearity. Then, three common machine learning algorithms(random forest[RF],support vector machine[SVM],and back propagation artificial neural network[BP-ANN])were used to simulate and predict blood glucose status.Additionally,a stepwise logistic regression was performed to compare the machine learning models. Results:The well-controlled blood glucose rate was 45.82%in North China. The multivariable analysis found that hypertension history, atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease history, exercise, and total cholesterol were protective factors in glycosylated hemoglobin(HbAlc)control, while central adiposity, family history,T2DM duration, complications, insulin dose, blood pressure, and hypertension were risk factors for elevated HbAlc.Before the dimensional reduction in the EN,the areas under the curve of RF,SVM,and BP were 0.73,0.61,and 0.70,respectively,while these figures increased to 0.75,0.72,and 0.72,respectively,after dimensional reduction. Moreover, the EN and machine learning models had higher sensitivity and accuracy than the logistic regression models(the sensitivity and accuracy of logistic were 0.52 and 0.56;RF:0.79,0.70;SVM:0.84,0.73;BP-ANN:0.78,0.73,respectively).Conclusions:More than half of T2DM patients in North China had poor glycemic control and were at a higher risk of developing diabetic complications. The EN and machine learning algorithms are alternative choices,in addition to the traditional logistic model, for building predictive models of blood glucose control in patients with T2DM. | Jiao Wang Meng-Yang Wang Hui Wang Hong-Wei Liu Rui Lu Tong-Qing Duan Chang-Ping Li Zhuang Cui Yuan-Yuan Liu Yuan-Jun Lyu Jun Ma | 2020 | Chinese Medical Journal2020,,1: | 19

A Review of Quality Assessment and Grading for Agarwood显示文摘Agarwood is an important non-timber forest product widely used in religious and cultural activities as perfume and fragrance and as traditional medicine in Asia. The high value of agarwood and the inflated consuming market have led to constant rising of the prices. In general, the price of the agarwood is determined according to its quality, which can be divided into different grades. But up to now, there is not any standard quality grading system which could be used overwhelmingly throughout the agarwood producing, commerce and consumption. Therefore, we reviewed agarwood in diversified grading indexes, systems and methods. | Yang-yang Liu Jian-he Wei Zhi-hui Gao Zheng Zhang Jun-chen Lyu | 2017 | Chinese Herbal Medicines2017,9,1: | 16

Temperature action and effect of concrete-filled steel tubular bridges:A review显示文摘Concrete-filled steel tube(CFST)has been widely applied in bridges due to its excellent structural and constructional performance. In CFST bridges, temperature action is not only an important but also a special load that must be considered in bridge design, construction and structural evaluation. This paper presents an overview on current researches of the temperature action and effect of CFST bridges. The historical and spatial characteristics as well as corresponding influencing factors of temperature distributions are summarized, and classifications of temperature actions are also reviewed. Results show that in-depth investigations of the contributions of temperature influencing factors can help to effectively reduce the adverse temperature effects on CFST bridges in the design stage.Due to the lack of long-term measurements and insufficient use of historical meteorological data, research on the representative value along with correlation analysis of CFST temperature actions and meteorological parameters have to be further carried out.In the meanwhile,a decomposition method of temperature distribution is proposed based on structural effects of CFST bridges in this paper. The decomposed temperature actions can be used for more accurate effect calculation than traditional temperature action classification method, especially for CFST truss bridges. At last, specific temperature action patterns still need to be investigated in some of the special problems, such as longitudinal temperature differences along the CFST arch rib and thermal debonding in the CFST interface.Further investigations are required on the accurate simulation of temperature distribution of CFST bridges considering the shading effects of components and terrain. | Jiang Liu Yongjian Liu Chenyu Zhang Qiuhong Zhao Yi Lyu Lei Jiang | 2020 | Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2020,7,2: | 15

Differential Hydrocarbon Enrichment and its Main Controlling Factors in Depressions of the Bohai Bay Basin Differential Hydrocarbon Enrichment and its Main Controlling Factors in Depressions of the Bohai Bay Basin显示文摘Significant differential hydrocarbon enrichment occurs in depressions in a petroliferous basin. There are multiple depressions in the Bohai Bay Basin, and each depression as a relatively independent unit of hydrocarbon generation, migration and accumulation, contains significantly different hydrocarbon generation conditions and enrichment degree. On the basis of previous documents and a large number of statistical data, this work comparatively analyzed the differential hydrocarbon enrichment and its major controlling factors in depressions of the Bohai Bay Basin. The results show that depressions in the Bohai Bay Basin have various hydrocarbon enrichment degrees, and can be categorized into four types, namely enormously oil-rich, oil-rich, oily and oil-poor depressions. In general, the enormously oil-rich and oil-rich depressions are distributed in the eastern part of the basin along the Tan-Lu and Lan-Liao faults, whereas depressions in the western part of the basin are poor in hydrocarbons. Moreover, the vertical distribution of hydrocarbons is also highly heterogeneous, with Pre-Paleogene strata rich in hydrocarbons in the northern and western depressions, Paleogene strata rich in hydrocarbons in the entire basin, and Neogene strata rich in hydrocarbons in the off-shore areas of the Bohai Bay Basin. From early depressions in onshore areas to the late depressions in offshore areas of the Bohai Bay Basin, the source rocks and source-reservoir-cap rock assemblages gradually become younger and shallower, and the hydrocarbon resource abundance gradually increases. Hydrocarbon supplying condition is the key factor constraining the hydrocarbon enrichment for different depressions, while the main source-reservoir-cap rock assemblage, sufficient hydrocarbons and the transportation capacity of faults control the vertical distribution of hydrocarbons. The main factors controlling hydrocarbon enrichment are different for different layers. The hydrocarbon supplying condition of source rocks is the key controlling factor, whereas the source-reservoir configuration, the main sourcereservoir-cap rock assemblages, and the fault transportation are the main factors of hydrocarbon enrichment in the Paleogene, Paleogene and Neogene, respectively. | JIANG Youlu LIU Hua SONG Guoqi WANG Yongshi LIU Jingdong ZHAO Kai LYU Xueying | 2017 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2017,91,5: | 15

Inulin Can Alleviate Metabolism Disorders in ob/ob Mice by Partially Restoring Leptinrelated Pathways Mediated by Gut Microbiota显示文摘Inulin has been used as a prebiotic to alleviate glucose and lipid metabolism disorders in mice and humans by modulating the gut microbiota. However, the mechanism underlying the alleviation of metabolic disorders by inulin through interactions between the gut microbiota and host cells is unclear. We use ob/ob mice as a model to study the effect of inulin on the cecal microbiota by16 S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing and its interaction with host cells by transcriptomics. The inulin-supplemented diet improved glucose and lipid metabolism disorder parameters in ob/ob mice, alleviating fat accumulation and glucose intolerance. The a diversity of gut microbial community of ob/ob mice was reduced after inulin treatment, while the b diversity tended to return to the level of wild type mice. Interestingly, Prevotellaceae UCG 001(family Prevotellaceae) was obviously enriched after inulin treatment. A comparative analysis of the gene expression profile showed that the cecal transcriptome was changed in leptin gene deficiency mice, whereas the inulin-supplemented diet partially reversed the changes in leptin gene-related signaling pathways, especially AMPK signaling pathway, where the levels of gene expression became comparable to those in wild type mice.Further analysis indicated that Prevotellaceae UCG 001 was positively correlated with the AMPK signaling pathway, which was negatively correlated with markers of glycolipid metabolism disorders. Our results suggest that the inulin-supplemented diet alleviates glucose and lipid metabolism disorders by partially restoring leptin related pathways mediated by gut microbiota. | Xiaofeng Song Liang Zhong Na Lyu Fei Liu Boxing Li Yanan Hao Yong Xue Jing Li Yuqing Feng Yue Ma Yongfei Hu Baoli Zhu | 2019 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2019,17,1: | 12
Epigenetic mechanism of Survivin dysregulation in human cancer显示文摘Survivin(coding gene BIRC5) is a dual functional protein acting as a critical inhibitor of apoptosis(IAP) and key regulator of cell cycle progression. It is usually produced in embryonic tissues during development and undetectable in most adult tissues.Overexpression of Survivin frequently occurs in various human cancers and increased Survivin correlates with poor clinic outcome, tumor recurrence, and therapeutic resistance. Because of its selective expression in tumor, but not normal tissues,Survivin has been recognized as an attractive target for cancer treatment. Although several therapeutic approaches targeting Survivin are actively under clinical trials in human cancers, to date no Survivin-targeted therapy has been approved for cancer treatment. Numerous studies have devoted to uncovering the underlying mechanism resulting in Survivin dysregulation at multiple levels, such as transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulation. The current article provides a literature review on the transcriptional and epigenetic regulation of Survivin expression in human cancers. We focus on the impact of DNA methylation and histone modifications, including specific lysine methylation, demethylation, and acetylation on the expression of Survivin. The latest development of epigenetic approaches targeting Survivin for cancer treatment are also discussed. | Hui Lyu Jingcao Huang Zhimin He Bolin Liu | 2018 | Science China(Life Sciences)2018,61,7: | 11
