1Fertilization practices affect biological nitrogen fixation by modulating diazotrophic communities in an acidic soil in southern China显示文摘Biological nitrogen(N)fixation(BNF)driven by diazotrophs is an important pathway for N input in agricultural ecosystems.However,free-living BNF and its associated diazotrophic communities under different fertilization practices in acidic soils are poorly studied.Here,we conducted a long-term(29 years)fertilization experiment to explore how fertilization affected free-living BNF via changing biotic and abiotic variables.The fertilization treatments included an unfertilized control(CK),chemical N,phosphorus(P),and potassium(K)fertilizers(NPK),NPK plus lime(NPKL),NPK plus straw(NPKS),NPK plus straw and lime(NPKSL),and NPK plus manure(NPKM).Compared with CK(1.51 nmol C_(2)H_(2)g^(-1)d^(-1)),BNF rate was significantly(P<0.05)higher in NPKM(1.99 nmol C_(2)H_(2)g^(-1)d^(-1))but lower in NPK(0.55 nmol C_(2)H_(2)g^(-1)d^(-1)),NPKL(0.61 nmol C_(2)H_(2)g^(-1)d^(-1)),and NPKS(0.69nmol C_(2)H_(2)g^(-1)d^(-1)).Similarly,chemical fertilization treatments without manure reduced the gene abundance(0.71×10^(8)-1.18×10^(8)copies g^(-1))andα-diversity(Shannon index,1.11-2.43)of diazotrophic communities,whereas the treatment with manure had a positive effect on diazotrophic abundance(3.23×10^(8)copies g^(-1))and Shannon index(3.36).Non-parametric multivariate analysis of variance(PERMANOVA)suggested that manure application(R^(2)=0.212,P=0.001)had a stronger influence on diazotrophic community composition than the addition of lime(R^(2)=0.115,P=0.019)or straw(R^(2)=0.064,P=0.161).Random forest modeling revealed that BNF rates can be significantly(P<0.05)explained by soil pH(9.9%),diazotrophic community attributes(composition,8.5%;Chao 1 index,8.1%;abundance,6.0%;Shannon index,5.7%),and soil total carbon(5.1%).Partial least squares path modeling(PLS-PM)suggested that the diazotrophic community attributes and soil properties mainly provided direct and indirect contributions to the variations in BNF rates,respectively.The dominant genera,Pelomonas,Azospirillum,and Dechloromonas,were positively associated with BNF rates,with their members being observed as keystone species in the community network.Application of chemical fertilizers combined with manure is an effective practice for improving BNF in acidic soils by affecting soil diazotrophic communities.Long GUO Chao WANG Manman ZHENG Wenxing LI Zejiang CAI Boren WANG Juan CHEN Ren Fang SHEN 2023Pedosphere2023,33,2:0
2A comparative study on grid resource utilization rate between China Southern Power Grid and National Grid Plc of UK显示文摘Grid resource utilization rate plays a key role in power grid operation.Although the proportion of population and the area in China Southern Power Grid(CSG)and National Grid Plc of UK(NG)are nearly,grid resources utilization of CSG is lower than that of NG.In this paper,the utilization of human resources and equipment resources of CSG and NG have been reviewed.It is discovered that there is a large gap between these two companies.The results show that the utilization in CSG is about 20%to 50%of that in NG.And it is estimated that if the equipment resources utilization of CSG increases to the level of NG in 2012,the coal consumption and thus CO2 emissions would be reduced by 17 million tons and 21 million tons,respectively.As China is a developing country and Britain is a mature developed country,it is to some extent reasonable that grid resources utilization of CSG is lower than that of NG.The benefits of improving equipment resources utilization are illustrated in detail,which provided the reference for developing the grid resource utilization in China.Long Zhou Di Zhang Weijie Wu Manman Zhu Hanyu Yang Canbing Li Ge Li Fei Li Mingjian Cui 2018Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems2018,3,1:0

4Ultrahigh pyroelectric effect and energy harvesting density of Pb(Lu_(1/2)Nb_(1/2))O_(3)-PbTiO_(3) crystals induced by FE-AFE phase transition显示文摘Large pyroelectric and energy harvesting properties have been attracting increasing attentions due to the practical applications in infrared detectors and energy harvesting technologies.Ferroelectricantiferroelectric(FE-AFE)phase transitions are usually accompanied by a sharp drop in polarization,which will lead to excellent pyroelectric properties and energy harvesting density.Therefore,FE-AFE phase boundary design is an effective strategy to develop new pyroelectric materials.In this paper,Pb(Lu_(1/2)Nb_(1/2))O_(3)-PbTiO_(3) (PLN-PT)single crystals with FE-AFE phase transitions were obtained by molten salt growth method.The temperature-induced FE-AFE phase transition was verified by temperaturedependent macrodomain structure,DSC curves and dielectric properties.Obviously,PLN-PT crystals display excellent peak pyroelectric coefficient(~6.8μC/(cm^(2)·K)with a maximum depolarization temperature of 118℃.Meanwhile,the pyroelectric energy harvesting density is as high as 2.62 J/cm3,which is much higher than other pyroelectric materials.The results reveal that the PLN-PT crystal is a promising candidate for infrared detectors and energy harvesting devices.Lingfei Lv Manman Liu Ying Liu Zujian Wang Rongbing Su Xiaoming Yang Chao He Xifa Long 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,12:0
