1Construction of a genetic linkage map for cotton based on SRAP显示文摘A genetic linkage map of cotton was constructed with a newly developed molecular marker-SRAP (sequence-related amplified polymorphism) using a population consisting of 129 F2 individuals derived from the interspecific cross of Handan208 Pima90. A total of 136 primer pairs were used to detect polymorphisms between the two parents and 76 primer pairs with better polymorphisms were picked out to analyze the F2 population. 285 polymorphic bands were generated in total with an average of 3.75 polymorphic bands per pair of primers. The primer pair showing most polymorphic bands was the combination of me3 and em2, which produced 13 polymorphic bands. The 285 loci were used to construct linkage map with MAPMAKER/EXP3.0 and 237 loci were mapped at a LOD≥3.0 on 39 linkage groups. The total length of the map is 3030.7 cM, covering 65.4% of the whole cotton genome, and the average distance between adjacent markers is 12.79 cM. All the markers are distributed evenly among the linkage groups without clustering of loci. 2Combinations of Hd2 and Hd4 genes determine rice adaptability to Heilongjiang Province, northern limit of China显示文摘Heading date is a key trait in rice domestication and adaption, and a number of quantitative trait loci(QTLs)have been identified. The rice(Oryza sativa L.) cultivars in the Heilongjiang Province, the northernmost region of China,have to flower extremely early to fulfill their life cycle.However, the critical genes or different gene combinations controlling early flowering in this region have not been determined. QTL and candidate gene analysis revealed that Hd2/Ghd7.1/Os PRR37 plays a major role in controlling rice distribution in Heilongjiang. Further association analysis with a collection of rice cultivars demonstrated that another three major QTL genes(Hd4/Ghd7, Hd5/DTH8/Ghd8, and Hd1)also participate in regulating heading date under natural long day(LD) conditions. Hd2/Ghd7.1/Os PRR37 and Hd4/Ghd7 are two major QTLs and function additively. With the northward rice cultivation, the Hd2/Ghd7.1/Os PRR37 and Hd4/Ghd7 haplotypes became non-functional alleles. Hd1 might be non-functional in most Heilongjiang rice varieties,implying that recessive hd1 were selected during local rice breeding. Non-functional Hd5/DTH8/Ghd8 is very rare, but constitutes a potential target for breeding extremely early flowering cultivars. 4Traditional Chinese Medicine etiology and pathogenesis of acquired immune deficiency syndrome in simian immunodeficiency virus-infected Chinese rhesus macaques显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) etiology and pathogenesis of acquired immune deficiency syndrome(AIDS) by 18-month observation of Chinese rhesus macaques infected with simian immunodeficiency virus(SIV) mac 239.METHODS:Thirty-five healthy Chinese rhesus macaques were divided into a model group(n=30) and a control group(n=5).The model was established by inoculating monkeys intravenously with SIVmac 239.Changes in TCM symptoms after SIV infection within 18 months were then observed and recorded.Routine blood tests,SIV viral load,T-lymphocyte subsets,plasma triiodothyronine(T3),tetraiodothyronine(T4),adrenocorticotropic hormone(ACTH) and cortisol(Cor) were tested periodically during the experiment.RESULTS:During the acute infection period of SIV,model monkeys temporarily showed clinical symptoms such as diarrhea,dysphoria and slight weight loss.Decrease percentages of CD4+ T-lymphocytes were observed but levels of T3,T4,Cor,and ACTH were relatively unchanged.Monkeys in the model group during the early and middle periods of infection showed no obvious symptoms,except few monkeys exhibited transient diarrhea and reduced food intake.All variables at this stage showed normal fluctuations.In the middle period model group monkeys showed chronic and persistent diarrhea,weight loss,reduced food intake and low levels of T3 and Cor.In the late period,symptoms including emaciation,weight loss,listlessness,crouching in corners and low levels of T3 appeared.CONCLUSION:The results suggest that the rhesus monkey SIV/SAIDS model can be applied to research on TCM etiology and pathogenesis of AIDS.According to this model,the etiology of disease is the SIV virus.The pathogenesis manifests as the invasion of SIV virus,incubation of the virus,balance between virus and healthy 'Qi',damage to spleen and kidney as the disease progressed,exhaustion of vitality and finally the failure of five zang and six fu organs.Maoqing Li Linchun Fu Yinjie Hu Miaomiao Zhang Jinyang He Zhixi Chen Jinyan Chen 2012Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2012,32,4:5
5Controller design for 2-DOF underactuated mechanical systems based on controlled Lagrangians and application to Acrobot control显示文摘On the basis of controlled Lagrangians,a controller design is proposed for underactuated mechanical systems with two degrees of freedom.A new kinetic energy equation(K-equation)independent of the gyroscopic forces is found due to the use of their property.As a result,the necessary and sufficient matching condition comprises the new K-equation and the potential energy equation(P-equation)cascaded,the regular condition,and the explicit gyroscopic forces.Further,for two classes of input decoupled systems that cover the main benchmark examples,the new K-equation,respectively,degenerates from a quasilinear partial differential equation(PDE)into an ordinary differential equation(ODE)under some choice and into a homogeneous linear PDE with two kinds of explicit general solutions.Benefiting from one of the general solutions,the obtained smooth state feedback controller for the Acrobots is of a more general form.Specifically,a constant fixed in a related paper by the system parameters is converted into a controller parameter ranging over an open interval along with some new nonlinear terms involved.Unlike what is mentioned in the related paper,some categories of the Acrobots cannot be stabilized with the existing interconnection and damping assignment passivity based control(IDA-PBC)method.As a contribution,the system can be locally asymptotically stabilized by the selection of the new controller parameter except for only one special case.Maoqing LI 2009Frontiers of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in China2009,4,4:3
6A novel dense descriptor based on structure tensor voting for multi-modal image matching显示文摘Automatic and robust matching of multi-modal images can be challenging owing to the nonlinear intensity differences caused by radiometric variations among these images.To address this problem,a novel dense feature descriptor and improved similarity measure are proposed for enhancing the matching performance.The proposed descriptor is built on a voting scheme of structure tensor that can effectively capture the geometric structural properties of images.It is not only illumination and contrast invariant but also robust against the degradation caused by significant noise.Further,the similarity measure is improved to adapt to the reversal of orientation caused by the intensity inversion between multi-modal images.The proposed dense feature descriptor and improved similarity measure enable the development of a robust and practical templatematching algorithm for multi-modal images.We verify the proposed algorithm with a broad range of multi-modal images including optical,infrared,Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR),digital surface model,and map data.The experimental results confirm its superiority to the state-of-the-art methods.Jiazhen LU Maoqing HU Jing DONG Songlai HAN Ang SU 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,9:3
7An efficient spherical mapping algorithm and its application on spherical harmonics显示文摘The sphere is a natural and seamless parametric domain for closed genus-0 surfaces. We introduce an efficient hierarchical optimization approach for the computation of spherical parametrization for closed genus-0 surfaces by minimizing a nonlinear energy balancing angle and area distortions. The mapping results are bijective and lowly distorted. Our algorithm converges efficiently and is suitable to manipulate large-scale geometric models. 8Genomic decoding of breeding history to guide breeding-by-design in rice显示文摘Deciphering the intrinsic molecular logic of empirical crop breeding from a genomic perspective is a decisive prerequisite for breeding-by-design(BbD),but remains not well established.Here,we decoded the historical features of past rice breeding by phenotyping and haplotyping 546 accessions covering the majority of cultivars bred in the history of Northeast China(NEC).We revealed that three groups founded the genetic diversities in NEC rice with distinct evolution patterns and traced and verified the breeding footprints to known or genome-wide association study(GWAS)-detected quantitative trait loci(QTLs),or introgressions from indica sub-species with chronological changes in allele frequencies.Then we summarized a rice breeding trend/principle in NEC,and combined with the successful example in breeding and application of Zhongkefa5 to demonstrate the guiding value of our conclusion for BbD in practice.Our study provides a paradigm for decoding the breeding history of a specific crop to guide BbD,which may have implications in different crop breeding.Zhuo Chen Qingyun Bu Guifu Liu Maoqing Wang Hongru Wang Huazhao Liu Xiufeng Li Hong Li Jun Fang Yan Liang Zhenfeng Teng Sai Kang Hong Yu Zhukuan Cheng Yongbiao Xue Chengzhi Liang Jiuyou Tang Jiayang Li Chengcai Chu 2023National Science Review2023,10,5:1
9Clinical value of ^(18)F-FDG PET/CT in evaluation of hepatic vein,inferior vena cava and right atrium tumor thrombi in hepatocellular carcinoma:Initial results显示文摘In this paper,eleven consecutive hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) patients with an embolus in the hepatic vein(HV),inferior vena cava(IVC)and right atrium(RA) were studied with 18F-FDG PET/CT and contrast enhanced CT.When correlated with final diagnosis,18F-FDG PET/CT and contrast enhanced CT was positive in 11 patients(100%),7 patients(63.6%),respectively.The accuracy of PET/CT and contrast-enhanced CT were 100%,63.6%.Three cases with secondary blood thrombi in the distant IVC,which were confirmed by PET/CT,cannot be identified by contrast enhanced CT.The average survival was 3 months(range,1-12mo).The 12 months survival rate was 9.1%.Our results suggest that highly metabolic tumor thrombus in the HV,IVC and RA may be depicted on 18F-FDG PET/CT in HCC patients.It may discriminate between malignant and secondary benign blood thrombi.SUN Long ZHAO Long LUO Zuoming JIANG Maoqing WU Hua 2012Nuclear Science and Techniques2012,23,3:1

14Design and Performance Study of Clutch Disc Assembly of Wide-Angle, Large-Hysteresis, Multistage Damper显示文摘The clutch is an important component of the vehicle driveline system.One of its major functions is to attenuate or eliminate the torsional vibration and noise of the driveline system caused by the engine.Based on experiments of vibration damping under different vehicle conditions,the structure and functional principle of a clutch-driven disc assembly for a wide-angle,large-hysteresis,multistage damper is investigated in this study using an innovative combined approach.Furthermore,a systematic integration of key technologies,including wide-angle low-stiffness damping technology,large-hysteresis clutch technology,a novel split pre-damping structure technology,damping structure technology for component cushioning,and multistage damping structure technology,is proposed.The results show that the total torsional angle of the wide-angle large-hysteresis,multistage damper is more than twice that of the traditional clutch damper.The multistage damping design allows a better consideration of various damping requirements under different vehicle conditions,which can effectively address problems of severe idle vibrations and torsional resonance that occur under idled and accelerated conditions.Meanwhile,the use of a large-hysteresis structure and wear-resistant materials not only improves the vibration damping performance,but also prolongs the product service life,consequently resulting in multi-faceted optimization and innovative products.Maoqing Xie Leigang Wang Yao Huang 2021Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2021,34,3:1
