1Seasonal Variations of Observed Raindrop Size Distribution in East China显示文摘Seasonal variations of rainfall microphysics in East China are investigated using data from the observations of a twodimensional video disdrometer and a vertically pointing micro rain radar. The precipitation and rain drop size distribution(DSD) characteristics are revealed for different rain types and seasons. Summer rainfall is dominated by convective rain,while during the other seasons the contribution of stratiform rain to rainfall amount is equal to or even larger than that of convective rain. The mean mass-weighted diameter versus the generalized intercept parameter pairs of convective rain are plotted roughly around the 'maritime' cluster, indicating a maritime nature of convective precipitation throughout the year in East China. The localized rainfall estimators, i.e., rainfall kinetic energy–rain rate, shape–slope, and radar reflectivity–rain rate relations are further derived. DSD variability is believed to be a major source of diversity of the aforementioned derived estimators. 2Chimeric antigen receptor T cell targeting EGFRvIII for metastatic lung cancer therapy显示文摘Lung cancer is the most common incident cancer and the leading cause of cancer death. In recent years, the development of tumor immunotherapy especially chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR-T) cell has shown a promising future. Epidermal growth factor receptor variant III (EGFRvlll) is a tumor-specific mutation expressed in various types of tumors and has been detected in non-small cell lung cancer with a mutation rate of 10%. Thus, EGFRvIII is a potential antigen for targeted lung cancer therapy. In this study, CAR vectors were constructed and transfected into virus-packaging cells. Then, activated T cells were infected with retrovirus harvested from stable virus-producing single clone cell lines. CAR expression on the surfaces of the T cells was detected by flow cytometry and Western blot. The function of CAR-T targeting EGFRvIII was then evaluated. The EGFRvIII-CAR vector was successfully constructed and confirmed by DNA sequencing. A stable virus-producing cell line was produced from a single clone by limited dilution. The culture conditions for the cell line, including cell density, temperature, and culture medium were optimized. After infection with retrovirus, CAR was expressed on more than 90% of the T cells. The proliferation of CAR-T cells were induced by cytokine and specific antigen in vitro. More importantly, EGFRvIII-CART specifically and efficiently recognized and killed A549-EGFRvIII cells with an effector/target ratio of 10:1 by expressing and releasing cytokines, including perforin, granzyme B, IFN-γ, and TNF-α. The in vivo study indicated that the metastasis of A549-EGFRvIII cells in mice were inhibited by EGFRvIII-CART cells, and the survival of the mice was significantly prolonged with no serious side effects. EGFRvIII-CART showed significantly efficient antitumor activity against lung cancer cells expressing EGFRvlll in vivo and in vitro. 3Polyimide-derived carbon nanofiber membranes as anodes for high-performance flexible lithium ion batteries显示文摘The strategy of N-doping in carbon materials could provide additional Li-ion storage sites to improve their electrochemical properties. Heteroatom-containing polymers could serve as good precursors to fabricate doped carbons due to the capability to in situ dope heteroatoms into the structures. In this work,electrospun heterocyclic polyimide(PI) nanofiber membranes containing biphenyl and pyrimidine rings were carbonized to fabricate freestanding and flexible heteroatoms-containing carbon membranes.When the polymer membranes were subjected to various calcination temperatures(from 550℃ to950℃) and durations(0.5-10 h), the structural evolutions strongly affect their electrochemical properties as anodes for lithium ion batteries. It demonstrated that the reversible specific capacity of obtained sample treated at 650℃ for 3 h could achieve 695 mAh/g at 0.1 A/g and retain 245 mAh/g at 1.5 A/g after300 cycles. 4Near-infrared luminescent Nd^(3+)/Yb^(3+)-codoped metal-organic framework for ratiometric temperature sensing in physiological range显示文摘Self-calibrating luminescent thermometry employing luminescence within the optical transparency windows provides a promising prospect for temperature measurement in the biological fields.In this work,a new Nd^(3+)/Yb^(3+)-codoped metal-organic framework Nd_(0.95)Yb_(0.05)BPTC showing threedimensional anionic network,obtained by reacting ligand[1,1’-biphenyl]-3,3’,5,5’-tetracarboxylic acid(H4BPTC)with Nd^(3+)and Yb^(3+)ions under solvothermal conditions,is reported.Upon 808 nm photoexcitation,Nd_(0.95)Yb_(0.05)BPTC simultaneously emits the characteristic near-infrared luminescence of Nd^(3+)and Yb^(3+)ions based on the efficient energy transfer from Nd^(3+)to Yb^(3+)ions.In addition,the emission intensity ratio of Yb^(3+)and Nd^(3+)shows good exponential-like response to temperature in the physiological range of 293-323 K.The feature properties of Nd_(0.95)Yb_(0.05)BPTC include near-infrared absorption and emission,favorable temperature sensitivity and accurate temperature uncertainty,as well as good chemical stability,making such system useful in biomedical applications.Chao Gu Yanyun Ding Xinghua Quan Mengyao Gong Jiulong Yu Dian Zhao Chunxia Li 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,9:4
5Electronic-property dependent interactions between tetracycline and graphene nanomaterials in aqueous solution显示文摘Understanding the interactions between graphene nanomaterials(GNMs) and antibiotics in aqueous solution is critical to both the engineering applications of GNMs and the assessment of their potential impact on the fate and transport of antibiotics in the aquatic environment. In this study, adsorption of one common antibiotic, tetracycline, by graphene oxide(GO) and reduced graphene oxide(RGO) was examined with multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs) and graphite as comparison. The results showed that the tetracycline adsorption capacity by the four selected carbonaceous materials on the unit mass basis followed an order of GO > RGO > MWCNTs > graphite. Upon normalization by surface area,graphite, RGO and MWCNTs had almost the same high tetracycline adsorption affinity while GO exhibited the lowest. We proposed π-electron-property dependent interaction mechanisms to explain the observed different adsorption behaviors. Density functional theory(DFT) calculations suggested that the oxygen-containing functional groups on GO surface reduced its π-electron-donating ability, and thus decreased the π-based interactions between tetracycline and GO surface. Comparison of adsorption efficiency at different p H indicated that electrostatic interaction also played an important role in tetracycline-GO interactions. 6Circular RNA circCCNB1 inhibits the migration and invasion of nasopharyngeal carcinoma through binding and stabilizing TJP1 mRNA显示文摘Nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC)is a malignant tumor that usually occurs in people from Southeast Asia and Southern China.NPC is prone to migration and invasion,leading to poor prognosis.A large number of circular RNAs(circ RNAs)exacerbate the process of metastasis in NPC;however,their underlying mechanisms remain unclear.We found that the circular RNA circ CCNB1,encoded by the oncogene CCNB1,was downregulated in NPC biopsies and cell lines.In vitro assays show that circ CCNB1 inhibits NPC cell migration and invasion.Moreover,circ CCNB1 induces a protein,nuclear factor 90(NF90),to bind and prolong the half-life of tight junction protein 1(TJP1)m RNA.Upregulation of TJP1 enhances tight junctions between cancer cells and inhibits NPC cell migration and invasion.This study reveals a novel biological function of circ CCNB1 in the migration and invasion of NPC by enhancing the tight junctions of cancer cells by binding to NF90 proteins and TJP1 m RNA,and may provide a potential therapeutic target for NPC.Mengyao Zhao Yian Wang Fenghua Tan Lingyun Liu Xiangchan Hou Chunmei Fan Le Tang Yongzhen Mo Yumin Wang Qijia Yan Zhaojian Gong Zheng Li Qianjin Liao Can Guo He Huang Xi Zeng Guiyuan Li Zhaoyang Zeng Wei Xiong Fuyan Wang 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,11:4
7Vascular protection and regenerative effects of intranasal DL-3-N butylphthalide treatment after ischaemic stroke in mice显示文摘Objective To investigate the effects of DL-3-N butylphthalide(NBP)via intranasal delivery after ischaemic stroke in mice.Methods C57BL/6 mice were divided into three groups:sham,stroke with vehicle and stroke with NBP treatment.Ischaemic stroke was induced by permanent ligation of right middle cerebral artery with 7 min common carotid artery occlusion.NBP(100 mg/kg)or vehicle was intranasally administered at 1 hour after stroke and repeated once a day until sacrifice.Bromodeoxyuridine(BrdU)(50 mg/kg/day)was given from the third day until sacrifice.Sensorimotor function was tested during 1-21 days after stroke.Local cerebral blood flow in the ischaemic and peri-infarct regions was measured using laser Doppler flowmetry before,during and 3 days after ischaemia.Expressions of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and endothelial nitric oxide synthase as well as regenerative marker BrdU in the peri-infarct region were analysed by western blotting and immunohistochemical methods.Results Compared with the vehicle group,NBP treatment significantly increased the VEGF expression in the poststroke brain.Stroke mice that received NBP showed significantly less vascular damage after stroke and more new neurons and blood vessels in the peri-infarct region at 21 days after stroke.In the adhesive removal test,the sensorimotor function of stroke mice treated with NBP performed significantly better at 1,3 and 7 days after stroke compared with vehicle controls.Conclusion Daily intranasal NBP treatment provides protective and neurogenic/angiogenic effects in the poststroke brain,accompanied with functional improvements after a focal ischaemic stroke in mice.Mengyao Qu Jingjie Zhao Yingying Zhao Jinmei Sun Liping Liu Ling Wei Yongbo Zhang 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,1:4
8Self-powered,flexible,and ultrabroadband ultraviolet-terahertz photodetector based on a laser-reduced graphene oxide/CsPbBr3 composite显示文摘Self-powered and flexible ultrabroadband photodetectors(PDs)are desirable in a wide range of applications.The current PDs based on the photothermoelectric(PTE)effect have realized broadband photodetection.However,most of them express low photoresponse and lack of flexibility.In this work,high-performance,self-powered,and flexible PTE PDs based on laser-scribed reduced graphene oxide(LSG)∕CsPbBr3 are developed.The comparison experiment with LSG PD and fundamental electric properties show that the LSG∕CsPbBr3 device exhibits enhanced ultrabroadband photodetection performance covering ultraviolet to terahertz range with high photoresponsivity of 100 mA/W for 405 nm and 10 mA/W for 118μm at zero bias voltage,respectively.A response time of 18 ms and flexible experiment are also acquired at room temperature.Moreover,the PTE effect is fully discussed in the LSG∕CsPbBr3 device.This work demonstrates that LSG∕CsPbBr3 is a promising candidate for the construction of high-performance,flexible,and self-powered ultrabroadband PDs at room temperature.YIFAN LI YATING ZHANG ZHILIANG CHEN QINGYAN LI TENGTENG LI MENGYAO LIHONGLIANG ZHAO QUAN SHENG WEI SHI JIANQUAN YAO 2020Photonics Research2020,8,8:3

10Sodium citrate and biochar synergistic improvement of nanoscale zero-valent iron composite for the removal of chromium(Ⅵ)in aqueous solutions显示文摘Sodium citrate(SC)is a widely-used food and industrial additive with the properties of com-plexation and microbial degradation.In the present study,nano-zero-valent iron reaction system(SC-nZVI@BC)was successfully established by modifying nanoscale zero-valent iron(nZVI)with SC and biochar(BC),and was employed to remove Cr(Ⅵ)from aqueous solu-tions.The nZVI,SC-nZVI and SC-nZVI@BC were characterized and compared using X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),thermogravimetric analy-ses(TGA),vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM),scanning electron microscope(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The results showed that nZVI was successfully loaded on the biochar,and both the agglomeration and surface pas-sivation problems of nanoparticles were well resolved.The dosage of SC,C∶Fe,initial pH and Cr(Ⅵ)concentration demonstrated direct effects on the removal efficiency.The maximum Cr(Ⅵ)removal rate and the removal capacity within 60 min were 99.7%and 199.46 mg/g,respectively(C∶Fe was 1∶1,SC dosage was 1.12 mol.%,temperature was 25℃,pH=7,and the original concentration of Cr(Ⅵ)was 20 mg/L).The reaction confirmed to follow the pseudo-second-order reaction kinetics,and the order of the reaction rate constant k was as follows:SC-nZVI@BC>nZVI@BC>SC-nZVI>nZVI.In addition,the mechanism of Cr(Ⅵ)removal by SC-nZVI@BC mainly involved adsorption,reduction and co-precipitation,and the reduction of Cr(Ⅵ)to Cr(Ⅲ)by nano Fe0 played a vital role.Findings from the present study demon-strated that the SC-nZVI@BC exhibited excellent removal efficiency toward Cr(Ⅵ)with an improved synergistic characteristic by SC and BC.Hongyi Zhou Mengyao Ye Yongkang Zhao Shams Ali Baig Ning Huang Mengyan Ma 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,5:3
11Environmental taxation and regional inequality in China显示文摘In order to combat environmental pollution, China enacted the Environmental Protection Tax Law in early 2018. Yet the impacts of the environmental tax on individual regions with different socioeconomic statuses, which are crucial for social justice and public acceptance, remain unclear. Based on a MultiRegional Input-Output(MRIO) table and a nationally regulated tax payment calculation method, this study analyzes the distributional impacts of an environmental tax based upon province’s consumption from both inter-provincial and rural-urban aspects. The national tax revenue based on the current levy mechanism is estimated to be only one seventh of the economic loss from premature mortality caused by ambient particulate matter(PM2.5). The taxation may slightly alleviate urban-rural inequality but may not be helpful with reducing inter-provincial inequality. We further analyze two alternative levy mechanisms. 14UMSCs Attenuate LPS/D-GalN-induced Acute Liver Failure in Mice by Down-regulating the MyD88/NF-κB Pathway显示文摘Background and Aims:Acute liver failure(ALF)is an inflammatory process of acute liver cell injury.Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)are undifferentiated,primitive cells with antiinflammatory,anti-apoptotic,and multi-directional differentiation abilities.This study aimed to explore the therapeutic mechanism of umbilical cord(U)MSCs in ALF.Methods:Dgalactosamine(D-GalN)combined with lipopolysaccharide(LPS)was used to establish an ALF model.After model establishment,UMSCs were injected via the tail vein.After UMSC transplantation,the number of mouse deaths was monitored every 12 h.A fully automatic biochemical analyzer was used to detect changes in biochemical analysis.Pathological changes was observed by stained with hematoxylin and eosin.The expression of My D88 was detected by immunohistochemical analysis,quantitative reverse transcription,and western blotting.The expression of NF-κB was detected by quantitative reverse transcription,western blotting.The expression of Bcl-2,Bax were detected by quantitative reverse transcription,western blotting.The expression of TNF-α,IL-1β,IL-6 were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Results:The 48-h survival rate of the UMSC-treated group was significantly higher than that of the LPS/D-GalNexposed group.After 24 h of LPS/D-GalN exposure,UMSCs reduced serum alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase levels and improved the liver structure.Western blot and real-time fluorescence quantitative nucleic acid amplification analyses showed that UMSCs decreased MyD88 expression,thereby inhibiting LPS/GalN-induced phosphorylation and degradation of inhibitor of nuclear factor(NF)-κB(IκB).Additionally,NF-κB p65 underwent nuclear translocation,inhibiting the production of the inflammatory factors interleukin(IL)-1β,IL-6 and tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-αand played a protective role in ALF by down-regulating the pro-apoptotic gene Bax and up-regulating the anti-apoptotic gene Bcl-2.In summary,these findings indicate that UMSCs play a protective role in LPS/GalN-induced acute liver injury via inhibition of the MyD88 pathway and subsequent inhibition of NF-κB-mediated cytokine production.Conclusions:Through the above mechanisms,UMSCs can effectively reduce LPS/D-GalN-induced ALF,reduce mouse mortality,and restore damaged liver function and damaged liver tissue.Hailing Liao Siying Du Ting Jiang Mengyao Zheng Zhao Xiang Jinhui Yang 2021Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2021,9,5:2
15Effect of Mg/Al Ratios on Hydration Mechanism of Tabular Alumina Carbon Composites Reinforced by Al4C3 in situ Reaction显示文摘Hydration mechanism of tabular alumina carbon composites reinforced by Al_4C_3 in situ reaction with Mg and Al was researched in water steam using super automatic thermostatic water bath from 25 ℃ to 85 ℃. It is shown that hydration mechanism of the composites is chemical reaction control at 44.3 ℃-84 ℃ in H_2O(g). The hydration was controlled by diffusion from 24.7 ℃ to 33 ℃. The ratio of added Mg/Al influences the HMOR of the composites.The mechanism of HMOR of the composites with different ratios of Mg/Al can be discovered by means of SEM analysis. The active Mg/Al powder and flake graphite inside give the composites outstanding hot strength resulting from the interlocking structure of Al_4C_3 crystals at high temperature. Besides, the matrix changes into the Al_4C_3 with high refractoriness. 17A mechanically durable,excellent recyclable 3D hierarchical Ni_(3)S_(2)@Ni foam photothermal membrane显示文摘Solar-driven water evaporation is considered to be a viable and very efficient technology for fresh water production.Unfortunately,the photothermal membrane has a low absorptivity,low photothermal conversion and poor recyclability,which are difficult to meet the demands of self-floating solar driven evaporators in practical applications.Herein,a hierarchical nanostructure Ni_(3)S_(2) has been prepared by in-situ growing method on Ni foam(NF),which shows excellent absorptivity,outstanding recyclable and high mechanically durable properties.The photothermal membrane was composed of hierarchical nanostructure Ni_(3)S_(2)@NF,which exhibited excellent solar absorption(93.13%) in the wavelength range of 250–2500 nm and sustained anti-corrosion capacity for one month.In addition,the hierarchical nanostructure Ni_(3)S_(2)@NF has good hydrophilicity and strong binding force,indicating this photothermal membrane exhibits good stability and outstanding photothermal conversion efficiency.An evaporation system based on 3D Ni_(3)S_(2)@NF membrane exhibited excellent water evaporation ability,the highest water evaporation rate(1.53 kg m^(-2)h^(-1)) and the photothermal conversion efficiency(84.7%) under 1 sun illumination.In the desalination experiment,the water evaporation rate and photothermal conversion efficiency almost keep constant over 5 cycles tests and do not decrease compared with the experiment in pure water.This result demonstrated that the Ni_(3)S_(2)@NF membrane has shown good corrosion resistance and outstanding recyclability.Due to the simple preparation method,low cost,outstanding recyclability and high mechanical durability in the sea water,this Ni_(3)S_(2)@NF membrane have great potential for long-term solar distillation applications.Zhongping Yao Kailun Yu Mengyao Pan Hongbo Xu Tianqi Zhao Zhaohua Jiang 2022Green Energy & Environment2022,7,3:1

20Timing and Single-pulse Study of Pulsar J1909+0122 Discovered by CRAFTS显示文摘We report the discovery of PSR J1909+0122 by the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope(FAST)as part of the Commensal Radio Astronomy FAST Survey.PSR J1909+0122 has a spin period of 1.257 s and a dispersion measure of 186.2 pc cm^(-3).The averaged pulse profile shows two distinct components.We performed a single-pulse study based on a one-hour observation at 1.25 GHz on 2021 August 23.We used a threshold of 5σ_(ep) to measure the nulling fraction(NF)as 63%±1.5%.The longitude-resolved fluctuation spectra and fast Fourier transform spectra of the binary sequences revealed the quasi-periodicity of nulling with a period of 30 rotation periods.We examined the reliability of the periodicity by comparing it to random noise injection.The NF,E,and modulation periodicity P_(M) of PSR J1909+0122 were compared with other periodic nulling pulsars,showing that the source of J1909+0122 has the second largest NF in the population.Long-term timing observations over six months were used to derive the phase-connected ephemeris of this pulsar.The measured P and P values disfavor dipolar geometry for polar gap models,and the prediction for a space-charge-limited flow model in the case of inverse Compton scattering is only just above the death line.In this work,PSR J1909+0122 has revealed possible correlations between nulling behavior and pulsar properties,which will help to shed light on the pulsar emission mechanism and its temporal evolution in future observations.Yutong Chen Pei Wang Di Li Erbil Gügercinoğlu Rushuang Zhao Lingqi Meng Jianping Yuan Jiarui Niu Weiwei Zhu Yi Feng Chenchen Miao Chenhui Niu Qingdong Wu Na Wang Shen Wang Xiaoyao Xie Mengyao Xue Jumei Yao Mao Yuan Shanping You Xuhong Yu Youling Yue Jie Zhang Junshuo Zhang Lei Zhang Yabiao Wang Zhenye Gan Yuxi Li Zhongyi Sun Chengjie Wang 2023Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2023,23,8:0
