Architecture design for reliable and reconfigurable FPGA-based GNC computer for deep space exploration显示文摘SRAM(static random access memory)-based FPGA(field programmable gate array), owing to its large capacity, high performance, and dynamical reconfiguration, has become an attractive platform for So PC(system on programmable chip) development. However, as the configuration memory and logic memory of the SRAM-based FPGA are highly susceptible to SEUs(single-event upsets) in deep space, it is a challenge to design and implement a highly reliable FPGA-based system for spacecraft, and no practical architecture has been proposed. In this paper, a new architecture for a reliable and reconfigurable FPGAbased computer in a highly critical GNC(guidance navigation and control) system is proposed. To mitigate the effect of an SEU on the system, multi-layer reconfiguration and multi-layer TMR(triple module redundancy) techniques are proposed, with a reliable reconfigurable real-time operating system(Space OS) managing the system level fault tolerance of the computer in the architecture. The proposed architecture for the reconfigurable FPGA-based computer has been implemented with COTS(commercial off the shelf) FPGA and has firstly been applied to the GNC system of a circumlunar return and reentry flight vehicle. The in-orbit results show that the proposed architecture is capable of meeting the requirements of high reliability and high availability, and can provide the expressive varying functionality and runtime flexibility for an FPGA-based GNC computer in deep space. | YANG MengFei LIU Bo GONG Jian LIU HongJin HU HongKai DONG YangYang SHI Lei ZHAO YunFu MIAO ZhiFu | 2016 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2016,59,2: | 10
Size, morphology, and composition of lunar samples returned by Chang'E-5 mission显示文摘This study focuses on the physical and chemical properties of surficial lunar regolith(LR)samples returned from the Moon by the Chang’E-5(CE-5)mission.Insights regarding the effect of a new sampling geological site on the surficial lunar sample CE5 C0400 were illustrated using nondestructive techniques such as laser diffractometry coupled with image analysis,X-ray computed tomography, and field emission scanning electron microscopy equipped with energy dispersive spectroscopy, and Xray diffraction combined with Rietveld refinement. From the characterization analyses, the CE-5 sampling site in the northeastern Oceanus Procellarum on the Moon yields a unique collection of relatively regular-shaped and fine basalt-dominated particles. The median grain size D_(50) is(55.24±0.96)μm,falling within the relatively low end of the range of the Apollo lunar returned samples. The coefficient of uniformity C_(u)of 15.1 and the coefficient of curvature C_(c)of 1.7 could classify CE5 C0400 to be well-graded.The minerals in CE5 C0400 comprise approximately 44.5%pyroxene,30.4%plagioclase,3.6%olivine,and6.0%ilmenite.There is a relatively low content of approximately 15.5%glass phase in the CE-5 lunar sample. From the results,we deduce that the CE-5 LR structure could have mainly resulted from micrometeoroid impacts to achieve such a high level of maturity. | Hui Zhang Xian Zhang Guang Zhang Keqi Dong Xiangjin Deng Xiaosong Gao Yaodong Yang Yuan Xiao Xiao Bai Kaixin Liang Yiwei Liu Wenbin Ma Shaofan Zhao Ce Zhang Xiaojing Zhang Jian Song Wei Yao Hong Chen Weihua Wang Zhigang Zou Mengfei Yang | 2022 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2022,65,2: | 4
Health-related quality of life among rural residents aged 45-69 years in Hua County, Henan Province, China: Results of ESECC Trial for esophageal cancer screening with endoscopy显示文摘Objective: There have been few population-based studies evaluating health related quality of life(HRQOL) in rural populations in China, and this study aimed to assess the current status of and risk factors for HRQOL in a general rural population in high risk region of esophageal cancer in China. Methods: From November 2015 to September 2016, 12,085 permanent residents aged 45–69 years from 257 villages in the Endoscopic Screening for Esophageal Cancer in China(ESECC) trial(Clinical Trials.gov:NCT01688908) randomly selected from Hua County, Henan Province, China were interviewed. The EQ-5 D-3 L,a generic measure of HRQOL, and a questionnaire were used to assess their HRQOL and potential risk factors. Results: Among all the participants, 30.62% of the participants reported problems in at least one EQ-5 D dimension. Pain/discomfort(25.52%) was the most frequently reported problem followed by anxiety/depression(7.97%), mobility(5.82%), usual activities(2.61%) and self-care(1%). These rural residents had a mean EQ-5 D index score of 0.948, and lower EQ-5 D index scores were associated with older age, female gender, lower levels of household annual per capita income, living alone, using shallow wells as main source of drinking water, exposure to family members smoking, testiness, unhealthy dietary habits, overweight or obesity, upper gastrointestinal cancer related symptoms and chronic diseases. Conclusions: Rural residents in China have a relatively low quality of life. Health promotion programs in this population should focus on the elderly, especially elderly women and the elderly living alone. Improving basic living circumstances and primary medical care services should be priorities. Results of this study will also serve as the basis for the cost-utility evaluation in our ESECC screening trial. | Hui Wang Yaqi Pan Chuanhai Guo Fenglei Li Ruiping Xu Mengfei Liu Zhen Liu Fangfang Liu Hong Cai Yang Ke Zhonghu He | 2018 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2018,30,2: | 3
Influence of ocean tidal loading on InSAR offshore areas deformation monitoring显示文摘The ocean tide can cause the redistribution of the seawater mass, resulting in earth's surface deformation, namely ocean tidal loading(OTL).OTL vertical displacement may reach several centimeters, especially in coastal areas,so its effect in the field of high precision geodesy must be considered. This study concentrates on the influences of OTL on InSAR deformation measurements. We improve the osu.chinasea.2010 regional model and then compare the improved regional model with other regional models. It turns out that the improved regional model can achieve higher precision. Then we use it to replace the offshore part of the global model to generate the present model. We find that the displacement observed by the present model is 2-3 mm larger than that of other models on some sites. Finally, the present model is used to correct the deformation observed by InSAR of Shanghai and Los Angeles.A comparison between the displacements of IGS station with the corrected data shows that the OTL correction can improve the accuracy of InSAR deformation results by about 20%. | Mengfei Lei Qijie Wang Xiaoli Liu Bing Xu Hongqiang Zhang | 2017 | Geodesy and Geodynamics2017,8,1: | 3
p190A inactivating mutations cause aberrant RhoA activation and promote malignant transformation via the Hippo-YAP pathway in endometrial cancer显示文摘The Rho family of GTPases is strictly regulated by a large family of GTPase-activating proteins(GAPs)that stimulate the relatively weak intrinsic GTP-hydrolyzing activity of Rho GTPases.p190A is a potent and widely expressed GAP that acts on RhoA GTPases.p190A is frequently mutated in endometrial cancer, but the contribution of p190A mutations to endometrial tumorigenesis remains unclear. Here we identified that p190A is an upstream regulator of the Hippo-YAP signaling pathway, which is a critical regulator of cell proliferation, apoptosis, and cell fate.p190A knockout in endometrial cancer cells promoted cell proliferation, migration, and epithelial–mesenchymal transition(EMT),which were partially dependent on YAP activation.Wild-type p190A,but not endometrial cancer-associated mutants, suppressed the nuclear localization, transcriptional activity, and malignant transformation function of YAP.Moreover, the nuclear localization of YAP was enhanced in p190A-mutated endometrial cancer. These findings reveal novel molecular mechanisms underlying Hippo-YAP pathway-driven endometrial tumorigenesis and elucidate the potential for therapy targeting the Hippo-YAP pathway in p190A-mutated endometrial cancer. | Xiaoli Wen Jing Wan Qizhi He Mengfei Wang Shuangdi Li Mei Jiang Zhen Qian Binya Liu Wen Lu Kai Wang Kun Gao Xiaoping Wan | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 3
Oral microbiome and risk of malignant esophageal lesions in a high-risk area of China:A nested case-control study显示文摘Objective:We aimed to prospectively evaluate the association of oral microbiome with malignant esophageal lesions and its predictive potential as a biomarker of risk. Methods:We conducted a case-control study nested within a population-based cohort with up to 8 visits of oral swab collection for each subject over an 11-year period in a high-risk area for esophageal cancer in China. The oral microbiome was evaluated with 16 S ribosomal RNA(rRNA)gene sequencing in 428 pre-diagnostic oral specimens from 84 cases with esophageal lesions of severe squamous dysplasia and above(SDA)and 168 matched healthy controls.DESeq analysis was performed to identify taxa of differential abundance.Differential oral species together with subject characteristics were evaluated for their potential in predicting SDA risk by constructing conditional logistic regression models. Results:A total of 125 taxa including 37 named species showed significantly different abundance between SDA cases and controls(all P<0.05&false discovery rate-adjusted Q<0.10).A multivariate logistic model including 11 SDA lesion-related species and family history of esophageal cancer provided an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC)of 0.89(95%CI,0.84-0.93).Cross-validation and sensitivity analysis, excluding cases diagnosed within 1 year of collection of the baseline specimen and their matched controls,or restriction to screenendoscopic-detected or clinically diagnosed case-control triads,or using only bacterial data measured at the baseline, yielded AUCs>0.84.Conclusions:The oral microbiome may play an etiological and predictive role in esophageal cancer, and it holds promise as a non-invasive early warning biomarker for risk stratification for esophageal cancer screening programs. | Fangfang Liu Mengfei Liu Ying Liu Chuanhai Guo Yunlai Zhou Fenglei Li Ruiping Xu Zhen Liu Qiuju Deng Xiang Li Chaoting Zhang Yaqi Pan Tao Ning Xiao Dong Zhe Hu Huanyu Bao Hong Cai Isabel Dos Santos Silva Zhonghu He Yang Ke | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,6: | 3
Development and validation of a questionnaire-based risk scoring system to identify individuals at high risk for gastric cancer in Chinese populations显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to develop and validate a risk scoring system to identify high-risk individuals carrying malignant lesions in stomach for tailored gastric cancer screening. Methods:A gastric cancer risk scoring system(GC-RSS)was developed based on questionnaire-based predictors for gastric cancer derived from systematic literature review. To assess the capability of this system for discrimination, risk scores for 8,214 and 7,235 outpatient subjects accepting endoscopic examination in two endoscopy centers, and 32,630 participants in a community-based cohort in China were calculated to plot receiver operating characteristic curves and generate area under the curve(AUC).To evaluate the performance of GC-RSS,the screening proportion, sensitivity and detection rate ratio compared to universal screening were used under different risk score cutoff values.Results:GC-RSS comprised nine predictors including advanced age, male gender, low body mass index(<18.5 kg/m^(2)),family history of gastric cancer, cigarette smoking, consumption of alcohol, preference for salty food, irregularity of meals and consumption of preserved food. This tool performed well in determining the risk of malignant gastric lesions with AUCs of 0.763,0.706 and 0.696 in three validation sets. When subjects with risk scores≥5 were evaluated with endoscopy, nearly 50%of these endoscopies could be saved with a detection rate of over 1.5 times achieved. When the cutoff was set at 8,only about 10%of subjects with the highest risk would be offered endoscopy, and detection rates for gastric cancer could be increased 2-4 fold compared to universal screening. Conclusions:An effective questionnaire-based GC-RSS was developed and validated. This tool may play an important role in establishing a tailored screening strategy for gastric cancer in China. | Ren Zhou Hongchen Zheng Mengfei Liu Zhen Liu Chuanhai Guo Hongrui Tian Fangfang Liu Ying Liu Yaqi Pan Huanyu Chen Zhe Hu Hong Cai Zhonghu He Yang Ke | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,6: | 3
Identification of cancer patients using claims data from health insurance systems: A real-world comparative study显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the accuracy of identifying cancer patients by use of medical claims data in a health insurance system in China, and provide the basis for establishing the claims-based cancer surveillance system in China. Methods: We chose Hua County, Henan Province as the study site, and randomly selected 300 and 1,200 qualified inpatient electronic medical records(EMRs) as well as the New Rural Cooperative Medical Scheme(NCMS) claims records for cancer patients in Hua County People’s Hospital(HCPH) and Anyang Cancer Hospital(ACH) in 2017. Diagnostic information for NCMS claims was evaluated on an individual level, and sensitivity and positive predictive value(PPV) were calculated taking the EMRs as the gold standard. Results: The sensitivity of NCMS was 95.2%(93.8%-96.3%) and 92.0%(88.3%-94.8%) in ACH and HCPH,respectively. The PPV of the NCMS was 97.8%(96.7%-98.5%) in ACH and 89.0%(84.9%-92.3%) in HCPH.Overall, the weighted and combined sensitivity and PPV of NCMS in Hua County was 93.1% and 92.1%,respectively. Significantly higher sensitivity and PPV in identifying patients with common cancers than noncommon cancers were detected in HCPH and ACH separately(P<0.01).Conclusions: Identification of cancer patients by use of the NCMS is accurate on individual level, and it is therefore feasible to conduct claims-based cancer surveillance in areas not covered by cancer registries in China. | Hongrui Tian Ruiping Xu Fenglei Li Chuanhai Guo Lixin Zhang Zhen Liu Mengfei Liu Yaqi Pan Zhonghu He Yang Ke | 2019 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2019,31,4: | 3
Taking advantage of glass:capturing and retaining the helium gas on the moon显示文摘Helium-3(3He)is a noble gas that has critical applications in scientific research and promising application potential as clean fusion energy. It is thought that the lunar regolith contains large amounts of helium, but it is challenging to extract because most helium atoms are reserved in defects of crystals or as solid solutions. Here,we find large amounts of helium bubbles in the glassy surface layer of ilmenite particles that were brought back by the Chang’E-5 mission. The special disordered atomic packing structure of glasses should be the critical factor for capturing the noble helium gas.The reserves in bubbles do not require heating to high temperatures to be extracted.Mechanical methods at ambient temperatures can easily break the bubbles. Our results provide insights into the mechanism of helium gathering on the moon and offer guidance on future in situ extraction. | Ao Li Xiao Chen Lijian Song Guoxin Chen Wei Xu Juntao Huo Meng Gao Ming Li Lei Zhang Bingnan Yao Min Ji Yan Zhang Shaofan Zhao Wei Yao Yanhui Liu Jun-Qiang Wang Haiyang Bai Zhigang Zou Mengfei Yang Weihua Wang | 2022 | Materials Futures2022,1,3: | 2
Reliable sensors based on graphene textile with negative resistance variation in three dimensions显示文摘The weft-knitted reduced graphene oxide(r-GO)textile that is made up of many conductive r-GO coated fibers was successfully prepared dependent on the electrospray deposition technique.Interestingly, the r-GO textile presents negative resistance variation not only in axial direction as the pressure increases but also in transverse direction as the lateral stretch increases which makes it has the advantage to fabricate the reliable sensors based on strain-resistance effect. The transverse-strain and pressure sensors based on the r-GO textiles all show the excellent sensing characteristics such as high sensitivity, reliability, and good durability, etc. The maximum gauge factors(GF)of the transverse-sensor are 27.1 and 153.5 in the x-and/-direction,respectively.And the practical detection range can up to 40%in the x-direction and 35%in the y-direction,respectively.The r-GO textile pressure sensor also shows high sensitivity for a broad pressure range that with a GF up to 716.8 kPa-1 for less than 4.5 kPa region and still has more sensitive pressure sensing characteristics even the pressure goes up to 14 kPa.Based on those good performances of r-GO textile sensors, its potential applications in human body states monitoring have been studied. | Wenpeng Han Yijun Wu He Gong Linxin Liu Junxiang Yan Mengfei Li Yunze Long Guozhen Shen | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,8: | 2
The partitioning behavior of trace elements in subduction zones:Advances and prospects显示文摘The partitioning behavior of trace elements is of key importance for understanding the geochemical process and material cycle mechanism in subduction zones. This paper focuses on the advances and prospects on the studies of trace element partitioning in subduction zones from the following four aspects.(1)The properties of fluids derived from subducting slabs and their ability in element transport. How slab-derived solute-rich fluids and supercritical fluids are formed and what the roles and key control factors of these fluids are in transferring of elements(especially the high field strength elements)from slab to wedge are discussed. We point out that the detailed investigations of supercritical fluids may provide a new perspective for the element migration mechanism, material cycle process, arc magma genesis and so on.(2)The behavior of transition elements during mantle wedge melting. The behavior of the first row transition elements(Sc,Ti,V,Cr,Mn,Fe,Co,Ni,Cu,Zn)in the mantle partial melting process is compatible or incompatible, depending on residual mineral assemblage and physicochemical conditions. The partitioning behavior of the elements such as Sc,Ti,Co,Ni and Zn whose valence states do not change in the melting process mainly depends on the residual mineral assemblage and temperature, whereas the partitioning behavior of the multivalent elements such as V and Fe is also the function of oxygen fugacity(fO_(2))in addition to mineral assemblage and temperature. Therefore, the partitioning behavior of transition elements has important applications in tracing lithologic inhomogeneity and fO_(2)of the mantle wedges.(3)The specificity of element partitioning behavior during arc magma evolution.Garnet has Dy/Yb partitioning behavior different from amphibole, and rutile has Nb/Ta partitioning behavior different from amphibole.Dy/Yb and Nb/Ta partitioning differences for these minerals enable to distinguish the specific evolution process of arc magmas. The Dy/Yb and Nb/Ta generally decrease with the increase of SiO_(2)in arc magmas, indicating that amphibole fractionation should be the most important during arc magma differentiation.(4)The behavior of sulfur and chalcophile elements and porphyry metallogeny. In subduction zones, the behavior of chalcophile elements such as Cu and Au is controlled by sulfide and fluid. Therefore, the stability of sulfide, the time at which the fluid exsolves from the melt relative to sulfide saturation, the fluid/sulfide mass ratio and fluid/melt Cu and Au partition coefficients in intermediate-felsic magma-H_(2)O systems are especially important in understanding Cu and Au enrichment in magma-hydrothermal processes.Intermediate-felsic magmas mainly originate from the differentiation of arc magmas at lower crustal reservoirs, and thus the fluid exsolution from the lower crustal reservoirs and the fluid/melt and fluid/sulfide partition coefficients of Cu and Au should be the keys to understanding quantitatively how Cu and Au are migrated from the deep crust to the shallow site of mineralization. | Xiaolin Xiong Xingcheng Liu Li Li Jintuan Wang Wei Chen Mengfei Ruan Ting Xu Zhongxing Sun Fangfang Huang Jianping Li&Lei Zhang | 2020 | Science China Earth Sciences2020,63,12: | 2

U-Pb Isotope Geochronology of Syntectonic Granites from Hainan Island,South China:Constraints on Tectonic Evolution of the Eastern Paleo-Tethys Ocean显示文摘Since the recognition of the Indosinian orogeny in northern Vietnam,Triassic orogens have been widely identified around the western and southwestern boundaries of the South China block. The paleo-Tethys sutures stretch from west to southeast, from Jinshajiang-Ailaoshan via NE Vietnam to Hainan Island;these sutures exhibit and develop voluminous Permian-early Triassic magmatism and numerous high-strain shear zones. As ophiolites related to the paleo-Tethys are lacking on Hainan Island, the eastward extension of the Indosinian orogeny and subduction and closure time of the paleo-Tethys Ocean on Hainan Island remain controversial. Here,an integrated kinematic and geochronological study has been conducted on two shear zones, called the Xiaomei and Mangsan shear zones.U-Pb zircon dating yields an age of early Triassic(252-251 Myr)for Xiaomei syntectonic granites which formed in the same tectonic setting and presented the similar nanoparticles to the Indosinian granites from Ailaoshan ductile shear zone, including the strawberry-like and flower-like nanoparticles. The NE-trending Mangsan shear zone represented by the gneissic granites with middle Permian ages(264-262 Myr)formed in the same tectonic setting as the Wuzhi-shan granites that were proposed as I-type granites. These middle Permian gneissic granites with arc affinity may represent an arc setting related to the NW subduction of the paleo-Tethys.The analyses reveal that granites with late Triassic ages(235-232 Myr)in the Xiaomei shear zone have the characteristics of A-type granites. The late Triassic extensional events on Hainan Island may be related to the subduction of the paleo-Pacific Plate beneath the East Asian continent. | ZHOU Yang YAN Yi LIU Hailing CAI Jianxin ZHOU Mengfei ZHANG Xinchang WANG Yin SHEN Baoyun | 2020 | Journal of Ocean University of China2020,19,6: | 1
Thermoelectric enhancement of p-type Si_(80)Ge_(20) alloy via co-compositing of dual oxides:Respective regulation for power factor and thermal conductivity byβ-Ga_(2)O_(3) and SiO_(2) aerogel powders显示文摘Si-based thermoelectric(TE)materials are exhibiting remarkable perspectives in self-energized applications with their special advantages. However, the relatively high total thermal conductivity(κ)prevents their TE enhancement. Here,a strategy of co-compositing dual oxides was implemented for enhancing the TE properties of p-type Si_(80)Ge_(20) bulks.Composited Ga2O_(3) was demonstrated to enhance the power factor(PF)due to the crystallization-induced effect of produced Ga by decomposition on SiGe matrix.Associating with compositing SiO_(2) aerogel(a-SiO_(2))powder,not only introduced the fine amorphous inclusions and decreased the grain size of host matrix, but also various nano morphologies were formed,i.e.,nano inclusions, precipitations, twin boundaries(TBs),and faults.Combining with the eutectic Ge,hierarchical scattering centers impeded the phonon transport comprehensively(decreasing the phonon group velocity(a v)and relaxation time)for reducing the lattice-induced thermal conductivity(lκ).As a result,a minimumκof 2.38 W·m^(−1)·K^(−1) was achieved, which is significantly dropped by 32.6%in contrast with that of the pristine counterpart.Ultimately,a maximal dimensionless figure of merit(ZT)of 0.9 was achieved at 600℃,which is better than those of most corresponding oxide-composited Si-based bulks. | Huajun LAI Ying PENG Mengfei WANG Runze SHI Junliang CHEN Chengyan LIU Yifeng WANG Lei MIAO Haiqiao WEI | 2023 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,2: | 1
Strong Tracking Particle Filter Based on the Chi-Square Test for Indoor Positioning显示文摘In recent years,a number of wireless indoor positioning(WIP),such as Bluetooth,Wi-Fi,and Ultra-Wideband(UWB)technologies,are emerging. However, the indoor environment is complex and changeable.Walls, pillars, and even pedestrians may block wireless signals and produce non-line-of-sight(NLOS)deviations,resulting in decreased positioning accuracy and the inability to provide people with real-time continuous indoor positioning. This work proposed a strong tracking particle filter based on the chi-square test(SPFC)for indoor positioning.SPFC can fuse indoor wireless signals and the information of the inertial sensing unit(IMU)in the smartphone and detect the NLOS deviation through the chi-square test to avoid the influence of the NLOS deviation on the final positioning result.Simulation experiment results show that the proposed SPFC can reduce the positioning error by 15.1%and 12.3% compared with existing fusion positioning systems in the LOS and NLOS environment. | Lingwu Qian Jianxiang Li Qi Tang Mengfei Liu Bingjie Yuan Guoli Ji | 2023 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2023,,8: | 1
Smart Manipulation of Gas Bubbles in Harsh Environments Via a Fluorinert-Infused Shape-Gradient Slippery Surface显示文摘Fundamental research and practical applications have examined the manipulation of gas bubbles on open surfaces in lowsurface-tension,high-pressure,and high-acidity,-alkalinity,or-salinity environments. However,to the best of our knowledge, effi cient and general approaches to achieve the smart manipulation of gas bubbles in these harsh environments are limited.Herein,a Fluorinert-infused shape-gradient slippery surface(FSSS)that could eff ectively regulate the behavior of gas bubbles in harsh environments was successfully fabricated. The unique capability of FSSS was mainly attributed to the properties of Fluorinert, which include chemical inertness and incompressibility. The shape-gradient morphology of FSSS could induce asymmetric driving forces to move gas bubbles directionally on open surfaces.Factors infl uencing gas bubble transport on FSSS,such as the apex angle of the slippery surface and the surface tension of the aqueous environment, were carefully investigated, and large apex angles were found to result in large initial transport velocities and short transport distances.Lowering the surface tension of the aqueous environment is unfavorable to bubble transport.Nevertheless,FSSS could transport gas bubbles in aqueous environments with surface tensions as low as 28.5±0.1 mN/m,which is lower than that of many organic solvents(e.g.,formamide,ethylene glycol, and dimethylformamide). In addition,FSSS could also realize the facile manipulation of gas bubbles in various aqueous environments,e.g.,high pressure(~6.8 atm),high acidity(1 mol/L H 2 SO 4),high alkalinity(1 mol/L NaOH),and high salinity(1 mol/L NaCl).The current fi ndings provide a source of knowledge and inspiration for studies on bubble-related interfacial phenomena and contribute to scientifi c and technological developments for controllable bubble manipulation in harsh environments. | Guoliang Liu Chunhui Zhang Mengfei Liu Ziwei Guo Xinsheng Wang Cunming Yu Moyuan Cao | 2020 | Transactions of Tianjin University2020,26,6: | 1

TGA factors promote plant root growth by modulating redox homeostasis or response显示文摘To identify novel regulators of stem cell renewal,we mined an existing but little explored cell typespecific transcriptome dataset for the Arabidopsis root.A member of the TGA family of transcription factors,TGA8,was found to be specifically expressed in the quiescent center(QC).Mutation in TGA8 caused a subtle root growth phenotype, suggesting functional redundancy with other TGA members.Using a promoter::HGFP transgenic approach,we showed that all TGA factors were expressed in the root, albeit at different levels and with distinct spatial patterns.Mutant analyses revealed that all TGA factors examined contribute to root growth by promoting stem cell renewal, meristem activity, and cell elongation.Combining transcriptome analyses, histochemical assays, and physiological tests,we demonstrated that functional redundancy exists among members of cladesⅡandⅤor those in cladesⅠandⅢ.These two groups of TGA factors act differently, however,as their mutants responded to oxidative stress differently and quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction assays showed they regulate different sets of genes that are involved in redox homeostasis. Our study has thus uncovered a previously unrecognized broad role and a mechanistic explanation for TGA factors in root growth and development. | Xiaochen Hu Liyun Yang Mengfei Ren Lin Liu Jing Fu Hongchang Cui | 2022 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,8: | 1
