New incompatible pair of TCM:Epimedii Folium combined with Psoraleae Fructus induces idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity under immunological stress conditions显示文摘Epimedii Folium(EF)combined with Psoraleae Fructus(PF)is a common modern preparation, but liver injury caused by Chinese patent medicine preparations containing EF and PF has been frequently reported in recent years.Zhuangguguanjiewan pills(ZGW),which contain EF and PF,could induce immune idiosyncratic liver injury according to clinical case reports and a nonhepatotoxic dose of lipopolysaccharide(LPS)model. This present study evaluated the liver injury induced by EF or PF alone or in combination and investigated the related mechanism by using the LPS model.Liver function indexes and pathological results showed that either EF or PF alone or in combination led to liver injury in normal rats;however,EF or PF alone could lead to liver injury in LPS-treated rats. Moreover,EF combined with PF could induce a greater degree of injury than that caused by EF or PF alone in LPS-treated rats.Furthermore,EF or PF alone or in combination enhanced the LPS-stimulated inflammatory cytokine production, implying that IL-1β,which is processed and released by activating the NLRP3 inflammasome,is a specific indicator of EF-induced immune idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity. Thus,EF may induce liver injury through enhancing the LPS-mediated proinflammatory cytokine production and activating the NLRP3 inflammasome. In addition, the metabolomics analysis results showed that PF affected more metabolites in glycerophospholipid and sphingolipid metabolic pathways compared with EF in LPS model, suggesting that PF increased the responsiveness of the liver to LPS or other inflammatory mediators via modulation of multiple metabolic pathways. Therefore,EF and PF combination indicates traditional Chinese medicine incompatibility, considering that it induces idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity under immunological stress conditions. | Yuan Gao Zhilei Wang Jinfa Tang Xiaoyi Liu Wei Shi Nan Qin Xiaoyan Wang Yu Pang Ruisheng Li Yaming Zhang Jiabo Wang Ming Niu Zhaofang Bai Xiaohe Xiao | 2020 | Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,1: | 32
Acupuncture's Role in Solving the Opioid Epidemic: Evidence, Cost-Effectiveness, and Care Availability for Acupuncture as a Primary, Non-Pharmacologic Method for Pain Relief and Management-White Paper 2017显示文摘The United States(U.S.) is facing a national opioid epidemic, and medical systems are in need of nonpharmacologic strategies that can be employed to decrease the public's opioid dependence. Acupuncture has emerged as a powerful, evidence-based, safe, cost-effective, and available treatment modality suitable to meeting this need. Acupuncture has been shown to be effective for the management of numerous types of pain conditions, and mechanisms of action for acupuncture have been described and are understandable from biomedical, physiologic perspectives. Further, acupuncture's cost-effectiveness can dramatically decrease health care expenditures, both from the standpoint of treating acute pain and through avoiding addiction to opioids that requires costly care, destroys quality of life, and can lead to fatal overdose. Numerous federal regulatory agencies have advised or mandated that healthcare systems and providers offer non-pharmacologic treatment options for pain. Acupuncture stands out as the most evidence-based, immediately available choice to fulfil these calls. Acupuncture can safely, easily, and cost-effectively be incorporated into hospital settings as diverse as the emergency department, labor and delivery suites, andneonatal intensive care units to treat a variety of commonly seen pain conditions. Acupuncture is already being successful y and meaningfully utilized by the Veterans Administration and various branches of the U.S. Military, in some studies demonstrably decreasing the volume of opioids prescribed when included in care. | arthur yin fan david w.miller bonnie bolash matthew bauer john mcdonald sarah faggert hongjian he yong ming li amy matecki lindy camardella mel hopper koppelman jennifer a.m.stone lindsay meade john pang | 2017 | Journal of Integrative Medicine2017,15,6: | 29
Grape Seed Proanthocyanidin Extract Alleviates Arsenic-induced Oxidative Reproductive Toxicity in Male Mice显示文摘Objective To determine the ability of grape seed proanthocyanidin extract(GSPE) in alleviating arsenic-induced reproductive toxicity. Methods Sixty male Kunming mice received the following treatments by gavage: normal saline solution(control); arsenic trioxide(ATO; 4 mg/kg); GSPE(400 mg/kg); ATO+GSPE(100 mg/kg); ATO+GSPE(200 mg/kg) and ATO+GSPE(400 mg/kg). Thereafter, the mice were sacrificed and weighed, and the testis was examined for pathological changes. Nuclear factor(erythroid-derived 2)-like 2(Nrf2), heme oxygenase 1(HO1), glutathione S-transferase(GST), NAD(P)H dehydrogenase, and quinone 1(NQO1) expression in the testis was detected by real-time PCR. Superoxide dismutase(SOD), glutathione(GSH), total antioxidative capability(T-AOC), malondialdehyde(MDA), 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine(8-OHd G), and reproductive indexes were analyzed. Results ATO-treated mice showed a significantly decreased sperm count and testis somatic index and activity levels of SOD, GSH, and T-AOC than control group. Compared to the ATO-treated group, ATO +GSPE group showed recovery of the measured parameters. Mice treated with ATO+high-dose GSPE showed the highest level of m RNA expression of Nrf2, HO, NQO1, and GST. Conclusion GSPE alleviates oxidative stress damage in mouse testis by activating Nrf2 signaling, thus counteracting arsenic-induced reproductive toxicity. | LI Shu Gang DING Yu Song NIU Qiang XU Shang Zhi PANG Li Juan MA Ru Lin JING Ming Xia FENG Gang Ling LIU Jia Ming GUO Shu Xia | 2015 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2015,28,4: | 14
Origin of the unusually high dibenzothiophene concentrations in Lower Ordovician oils from the Tazhong Uplift,Tarim Basin,China显示文摘The origin of the unusually high dibenzothiophene (DBT) concentrations in Lower Ordovician oils from the Tazhong Uplift,Tarim Basin was studied by Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (FT-ICR MS).The most abundant sulfur compounds in the oils are S 1 species with doublebond equivalent (DBE) values of 1-19 and 11-48 carbon atoms. The range of the number of carbon atoms in the sulfur compounds detected by the FT-ICR MS (S 1 species with DBE=9) is about ten times larger than that for sulfur compounds detected by GC/MS (DBTs).This suggests that FT-ICR MS is a much better approach than GC/MS for characterization of DBTs in crude oils. The abundance of S 1 species with DBE=1-8 decreased with increasing thermal maturity, while the abundance of S 1 species with DBE=9 (primarily DBTs) increased. Therefore, thermal maturity is an important factor in the formation of oils with high DBT concentrations.Unusually high abundances of S 1 species with low DBE values (1-8),which include sulfide, thiophene and benzothiophene, were observed in several oils, especially the TZ83 (O 1) oil with high or very high thermal maturity.Thermochemical sulfate reduction (TSR) was thought to be the reason for the high abundance of these low DBE compounds in deep reservoirs, and thermochemical sulfate reduction could affect the distribution and composition of DBTs in the oils.According to the results of FT-ICR MS analysis, there are no signs that TSR is occurring or has occurred recently for most of the Lower Ordovician oils. | Li Sumei Pang Xiongqi Shi Quan Zhang Baoshou Zhang Haizu Pan Na Zhao Ming | 2011 | Petroleum Science2011,8,4: | 9
First Discovery of North-South Striking Normal Faults near the Potential Eastern End of Altyn Tagh Fault显示文摘The Altyn Tagh fault is the northern boundary of Tibetan Plateau. As one of the most well-known strike-slip fault in the world, great achievements on tectonic deformation and Late Quaternary slip rate have been made. However, there is a long-lasting debate on whether the Altyn Tagh fault extends into the Jinta Basin or even eastward. In this paper, we use satellite image interpretation, field investigation, trench excavation, and optical stimulated luminescence dating to study newly found NS striking scarps in the eastern end of Jinta Nan Shan. The results are as follows: firstly, a group of normal faults develop on terrace T2 of Heihe River, the total length amounts to ~40 km, total scarp height is 30±5 m; secondly, four paleoseismic events have been interpreted from three trenches, approximate ages of events are 79.97±19.14 ka BP, 62.55±13.10~55.41±10.77 ka BP, before 16.89±2.08 ka BP, 8.52±1.49 ka BP, respectively; thirdly, just like NS normal faults in the western end of Altyn Tagh fault, the newly found NS extensional faults are likely the terminating tectonics of the eastern end of Altyn Tagh fault, the large Altyn Tagh fault may end in the eastern end of Jinta Nan Shan. | Bo Zhang Daoyang Yuan Wengui He Wei Pang Pengtao Wang Ming Wu | 2018 | Journal of Earth Science2018,29,1: | 6
Synthesis, upconversion luminescence and optical heating of hexagonal NaGdF_4:Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)显示文摘An optical heater based on hexagonal NaGdF_4:Yb^(3+)/Er^(3+) is reported. XRD, SEM and EDS characterization results show that F^-/Ln^(3+) can not only control the phase composition, particle size and morphology, but also affect the effective doping concentration of Yb^(3+) and Er^(3+).When F^-/Ln^(3+) is 12/1, the strongest upconversion luminescence is obtained. Based on the luminescent temperature sensing behavior of Er^(3+),the photo-thermal conversion performance was investigated. The results indicate that the temperature of irradiation spot is linearly dependent on the power density, and the photo-thermal responsivity is determined to be 3.3K·cm^2/W. Also, it is found that the photo-thermal conversion efficiency can be regulated by changing the Yb^(3+) doping concentration. Compared with the nano-gold, copper sulfide and carbon nanotubes, the NaGdF_4:Yb^(3+)/Er^(3+) has the triple functions of upconversion luminescence, temperature sensing, and photo-thermal conversion, and may therefore be a promising optical heater for photo-thermal therapy of tumors. | Tao Pang Wenbo Peng Ming Yang Jianping Xie Wenhui Lu | 2018 | Journal of Rare Earths2018,36,11: | 6
Compression-related EMIC waves drive relativistic electron precipitation显示文摘With coordinated observations of the NOAA 15 satellite and OUL magnetometer station in Finland, we report that the electromagnetic ion cyclotron(EMIC) waves which were stimulated by the compression of the magnetosphere drive relativistic electron precipitation in geoquiescence on 1 Jan 2007. After an enhancement of solar wind dynamic pressure(SWDP), a dayside Pc1 pulsation was observed by the OUL station. Such a Pc1 pulsation is caused by an EMIC wave which propagates from the generation source to lower altitudes. Simultaneously, the NOAA 15 satellite registered an enhancement of precipitating electron count rates with energies >3 Me V within the anisotropic zone of protons. This phenomenon is coincident with the quasi-linear theoretical calculation presented in this paper. Our observations suggest that after a positive impulse of solar wind, the compression-related EMIC waves can drive relativistic electrons precipitation and play a pivotal role in the dynamic of radiation belts. | WANG De Dong YUAN Zhi Gang DENG Xiao Hua ZHOU Meng HUANG Shi Yong LI Ming LI Hui Min LI Hai Meng RAITA Tero PANG Ye | 2014 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,12: | 6
Novel wavelet neural network algorithm for continuous and noninvasive dynamic estimation of blood pressure from photoplethysmography显示文摘This paper proposes a novel wavelet neural network algorithm for the continuous and noninvasive dynamic estimation of blood pressure(BP). Unlike prior algorithms, the proposed algorithm capitalizes on the correlation between photoplethysmography(PPG) and BP. Complete BP waveforms are reconstructed based on PPG signals to extract systolic blood pressure(SBP) and diastolic blood pressure(DBP). To improve the robustness, Daubechies wavelet is implemented as the hidden layer node function for the neural network. An optimized neural network structure is proposed to reduce the computational complexity. Further, this paper investigates an inhomogeneous resilient backpropagation(IRBP) algorithm to calculate the weight of hidden layer nodes. The IRBP improves the convergence speed and reconstruction accuracy. Multiparameter intelligent monitoring in Intensive Care(MIMIC) databases, which contain a variety of physiological parameters captured from patient monitors, are used to validate this algorithm. The standard deviation σ between reconstructed and actual BP signals is 4.4797 mm Hg, which satisfies the American National Standards of the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation. The reconstructed BP waveform can be used to extract the SBP and DBP, whose standard deviations σ are 2.91 mm Hg and 2.41 mm Hg respectively. | Peng LI Ming LIU Xu ZHANG Xiaohui HU Bo PANG Zhaolin YAO Hongda NHEN | 2016 | Science China(Information Sciences)2016,59,4: | 5
Effect of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation at acupoints on patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus:a randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To examine whether transcutaneous electric nerve stimulation at acupoints(Acu-TENS)improved the biochemical and physical indices of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).METHODS:Ninety subjects with T2DM were divided randomly into a control group(n = 30),aerobic exercise group(n- 30),or Acu-TENS group(n = 30).In addition to conventional diabetes drug treatment, patients in the Acu-TENS group received acupoint stimulation, the aerobic exercise group engaged in walking exercises, and the control group was given sham electrical stimulation. All groups were treated for 30 min for each session and five times a week for 2 months. The indices of glycosylated hemoglobin,2 h postprandial glucose, fasting serum insulin, triglyceride, total cholesterol, and body mass index were assessed at pre-treatment,post-treatment,and follow-up,which was 2 months after treatment.RESULTS:The indices of the control group were not changed(P > 0.05) at the three time points. At the pre-treatment measurement, there were significant differences(P > 0.05) in indices among the three groups. At post-treatment,each index of the two groups was lower than that of the control group(P < 0.05),and improved in comparison with the pre-treatment measurement(P < 0.05).In follow-up,each index of the aerobic exercise group and Acu-TENS group increased, but was still decreased compared with the pre-treatment value(P < 0.05),excluding body mass index.CONCLUSION:Acu-TENS could improve the state of patients with T2 DM and be used as a therapy in clinical application. | Wu Zhiyuan Yang Ming Jia Jie Wu Yi Huang Tiansheng Li Mingfen He Zhijie Guo Zhenzhen Leung Mason Chin Pang | 2015 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,2: | 5
Reverse immune suppressive microenvironment in tumor draining lymph nodes to enhance anti-PD1 immunotherapy via nanovaccine complexed microneedle显示文摘The maturation of dendritic cells(DCs)and infiltration effector T cells in tumor-draining lymph node(tdLN)and tumor tissue are crucial for immunotherapy.Despite constructive progresses have been made with anti-programmed death-1(anti-PD1)checkpoint blockade for immunotherapy, the efficacy of PD1/PD-L1 therapy deserves to be improved. Here,we constructed a novel transfersomes based nanovaccine complexed microneedles to enhance anti-PD1 immunotherapy via transdermal immunization for skin tumor therapy.Transfersomes were functionalized with DCs targeting moietyαCD40,co-encapsulated with antigens and adjuvant poly I:C.Moreover, transdermal administration promoted accumulation in tumor-draining lymph nodes(tdLN),which could facilitate cellular uptake, activate DCs maturation and enhance Th1 immune responses.Using a mouse melanoma model, combined therapy of such nanovaccine complexed microneedles with pembrolizumab(αPD1)was able to enhance cytotoxic T lymphocytes activation, promote infiltration and reduce regulatory T cells frequency in tdLN and tumor tissues, which achieved reversion of the immunosuppressive microenvironment into immune activation. This study highlighted the potential of transfersomes based nanovaccines complexed microneedles as an attractive platform for tumor immunotherapy. | Zhongzheng Zhou Jianhui Pang Xuanjin Wu Wei Wu Xiguang Chen Ming Kong | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,6: | 5
A novel approach framework based on statistics for reconstruction and heartrate estimation from PPG with heavy motion artifacts显示文摘One of the most important applications of photoplethysmography(PPG) signal is heartrate(HR)estimation. For its applications in wearable devices, motion artifact(MA) may be the most serious challenge for randomness both in format and temporal distribution. This paper proposes an advanced time-frequency analysis framework based on empirical mode decomposition(EMD) to select specific time slices for signal reconstruction. This framework operates with a type of pre-processing called variance characterization series(VCS), EMD, singular value decomposition(SVD), and a precise and adaptive 2-D filtration reported first. This filtration is based on Harr wavelet transform(HWT) and 3 rd order cumulant analysis, to make it have resolution in both the time domain and different components. The simulation results show that the proposed method gains 1.07 in absolute average error(AAE) and 1.87 in standard deviation(SD); AAEs' 1 st and 3 rd quartiles are 0.12 and 1.41, respectively. This framework is tested by the Physio Bank MIMIC II waveform database. | Bo PANG Ming LIU Xu ZHANG Peng LI Hongda CHEN | 2018 | Science China(Information Sciences)2018,61,2: | 4
Association between Low-density Lipoprotein Receptor-related Protein 5 Polymorphisms and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in Han Chinese:a Case-control Study显示文摘Objective To investigate the association between low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 5(LRP5) variants(rs12363572 and rs4930588) and type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) in Han Chinese. Methods A total of 1842 T2 DM cases(507 newly diagnosed cases and 1335 previously diagnosed cases) and 7777 controls were included in this case-control study. PCR-RFLP was conducted to detect the genotype of the two single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs). Odds ratios(ORs) and 95% confidence intervals(95% CIs) were calculated to describe the strength of the association by logistic regression. Results In the study subjects, neither rs12363572 nor rs4930588 was significantly associated with T2 DM, even after adjusting for relevant covariates. When stratified by body mass index(BMI), the two SNPs were also not associated with T2 DM. Among the 3 common haplotypes, only haplotype TT was associated with reduced risk of T2DM(OR 0.820, 95% CI 0.732-0.919). In addition, rs12363572 was associated with BMI(P<0.001) and rs4930588 was associated with triglyceride levels(P=0.043) in 507 newly diagnosed T2 DM cases but not in healthy controls. Conclusion No LRP5 variant was found to be associated with T2 DM in Han Chinese, but haplotype TT was found to be associated with T2 DM. | YOU Hai Fei ZHAO Jing Zhi ZHAI Yu Jia YIN Lei PANG Chao LUO Xin Ping ZHANG Ming WANG Jin Jin LI Lin Lin WANG Yan WANG Qian WANG Bing Yuan REN Yong Cheng HU Dong Sheng | 2015 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2015,28,7: | 4
Dark solitons in WS_2 erbium-doped fiber lasers显示文摘Tungsten disulfide(WS_2) is a type of anisotropic-layered compound and has broadband saturable absorption features as saturable absorbers(SAs). With WS_2-based SAs, dark solitons in erbium-doped fiber(EDF) lasers are first obtained. For the generated dark solitons, the center wavelength is measured to be 1530 nm, and the repetition rate is about 116.5 MHz. A series of optical spectra is exhibited. The electrical signal-to-noise ratio is better than 94 d B.Results in this paper demonstrate that WS_2-based SAs are the promising SAs for generating dark solitons in EDF lasers. | Wenjun Liu Lihui Pang Hainian Han Zhongwei Shen Ming Lei Hao Teng Zhiyi Wei | 2016 | Photonics Research2016,4,3: | 4
Cognitive magnetic resonance imaging-ultrasound fusion transperineal targeted biopsy combined with randomized biopsy in detection of prostate cancer显示文摘BACKGROUND Prostate cancer(PCa)is one of the most common cancers among men.Various strategies for targeted biopsy based on multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging(mp-MRI)have emerged, which may improve the accuracy of detecting clinically significant PCa in recent years.AIM To investigate the diagnostic efficiency of a template for cognitive MRIultrasound fusion transperineal targeted plus randomized biopsy in detecting PCa.METHODS Data from patients with an increasing prostate-specific antigen(PSA)level but less than 20 ng/mL and at least one lesion suspicious for PCa on MRI from December 2015 to June 2018 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients underwent cognitive fusion transperineal template-guided targeted biopsy followed by randomized biopsy outside the targeted area.A total of 127 patients with complete data were included in the final analysis.A multivariable logistic regression analysis was conducted, and a two-sided P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.RESULTS PCa was detected in 66 of 127 patients, and 56 cases presented clinically significant PCa.Cognitive fusion targeted biopsy alone detected 59/127 cases of PCa,specifically 52/59 cases with clinically significant PCa and 7/59 cases with clinically insignificant PCa.A randomized biopsy detected seven cases of PCa negative on targeted biopsy, and four cases had clinically significant PCa.PSA density(OR:1.008,95%CI:1.003-1.012,P=0.001;OR:1.006,95%CI:1.002-1.010,P=0.004)and Prostate Imaging-Reporting and Data System(PI-RADS)scores(both P<0.001)were independently associated with the results of cognitive fusion targeted biopsy combined with randomized biopsy and targeted biopsy alone.CONCLUSION This single-centered study proposed a feasible template for cognitive MRIultrasound fusion transperineal targeted plus randomized biopsy.Patients with higher PSAD and PI-RADS scores were more likely to be diagnosed with PCa. | Cheng Pang Miao Wang Hui-Min Hou Jian-Yong Liu Zhi-Peng Zhang Xuan Wang Ya-Qun Zhang Chun-Mei Li Wei Zhang Jian-Ye Wang Ming Liu | 2021 | World Journal of Clinical Cases2021,9,36: | 3
Epidemiological and clinical characteristics of 35 children with COVID-19 in Beijing,China显示文摘Importance:Within the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)global pandemic, more attention is warranted for whether this new infectious disease has unique manifestations in children. Objective:To retrospectively determine the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of 35 children with COVID-19 in Beijing,China. Methods:We collected data for 35 children diagnosed with COVID-19 who were admitted to Beijing Ditan Hospital from January 2020 to June 2020,and analyzed their epidemiological characteristics, clinical manifestations, laboratory examinations, chest imaging findings, treatments, and outcomes. Results:The children comprised 18 boys(51.4%)and 17 girls(48.6%)aged 6 months to 15 years. All patients had clear epidemiological history, with family clusters accounting for 28 cases(80.0%)and clear tracing of exposure to high epidemic areas in the remaining 7 cases(20.0%).Four(11.4%)patients were classified as asymptomatic,17(48.6%)as acute upper respiratory infection, and 14(40.0%)as mild pneumonia, with no severe or critical cases.Clinical manifestations were mild, including fever in 18(51.4%),cough in 14(40.0%),and nausea and diarrhea in 7(20.0%)patients.White blood cell count was mostly normal(26 cases,74.3%)or decreased(7 cases,20.0%);lymphocyte percentage was increased in 24(68.7%);neutrophil percentage was decreased in 25(71.4%);alanine aminotransferase was increased in 3(8.6%);and serum potassium was decreased in 4(11.4%).Time to negative viral nucleic acid testing was 2-42 days(mean:14.0±9.4 days).Chest imaging examination revealed that 20 patients(57.1%)had different forms of lung inflammation.Treatment was mainly isolation and nutritional support.Eleven patients were treated with interferon atomization inhalation. No patients required oxygen therapy. All 35 children were cured and discharged.Length of hospital stay was 9-54 days(mean:25.4±13.8 days).During regular follow-up after discharge,5 children showed positivity again in the viral nucleic acid test and were re-hospitalized for observation and treatment. The mean length of re-hospitalization stay was 10.8 days.Interpretation:Children with COVID-19 mainly become infected within their family, and children of all ages are generally susceptible. The disease in children is mostly mild and the prognosis is good.Nucleic acid tests in some patients become positive again after discharge, suggesting that it is of great significance to carry out centralized isolation medical observations and active nucleic acid tests in close contacts for early detection of patients and routine epidemic prevention and control. | Ming He Caiying Wang Lin Xu Huimin Zhang Yuhuan Liu Yang Zhao Shuxin He Yanlan Zhang Hongling Yang Yang Liu Min Miao Zhihai Chen Lin Pang | 2020 | Pediatric Investigation2020,4,4: | 3
Compensation Control and Parameters Design for High Frequency Resonance Suppression of MMC-HVDC System显示文摘Large time delay is one of the inherent features of a modular multilevel converter(MMC)-based high voltage direct current(HVDC)system and is the main factor leading to the unfavorable’negative resistance and inductance’characteristic of MMC impedance.Research indicates that this characteristic interacting with the capacitive characteristics of an AC system is the cause of high frequency resonance(HFR)in the Yu-E HVDC project. As the current controller is one of the main factors that affects the MMC impedance,a compensation control to imitate the paralleled impedance at the point of common coupling(PCC)is proposed. Therefore, the structure and parameter design of the compensation controller are core to realizing HFR suppression. There are two potentially risky frequency ranges of HFRs(around 700 Hz and 1.8 kHz)in the studied AC system within 2.0 kHz.The core concept of HFR suppression is to make the phase angle of MMC impedance smaller than 90◦in the two risky frequency ranges according to impedance stability theory.Hence, the design parameters aim to coordinate the phase angle of MMC impedance in the two risky frequency ranges. In this paper, three types of compensation controller are studied to suppress HFRs,namely,first-order low pass filter(LPF),second-order LPF,and third-order band pass filter. The results of parameter design show that the first-order LPF cannot suppress both HFRs simultaneously. The second-order LPF can suppress both HFRs,however,it introduces a DC component into the current control loop. Therefore,a high pass filter is added to form the recommended third-order controller. All parameter ranges of the compensation controller are derived using analytical expressions. Finally, the correctness of the parameter design is proofed using time-domain simulations. | Yunfeng Li Hui Pang Ming Kong Jingjing Lu Ke Ji Guangfu Tang | 2021 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2021,7,6: | 3

A comparative study of the extractive desulfurization mechanism by Cu(Ⅱ)and Zn-based imidazolium ionic liquids显示文摘A comparative study of the extractive desulfurization(EDS) mechanism by Cu(Ⅱ) and Zn-based ILs([C_4mim]_2[MCl_4], M ? Cu(Ⅱ) or Zn)has been performed. It is found that the p–p interaction and C-H/p interaction play important roles in EDS for both Cu(Ⅱ) and Zn-based ILs,which is different from Al, Fe-based ILs. In the gas phase models, the interaction energy between Zn-based ILs and dibenzothiophene(DBT) is stronger than the interaction energy of Cu(Ⅱ)-based ILs. In order to consider the solvent effect, a generic ionic liquid of solvation model has been implemented, which is few considered in the previous calculations of EDS. It is interesting to find that the gap of interaction energies between Cu(Ⅱ), Zn-based ILs and DBT are reduced when the solvent effect is considered. In addition, by combined discussion of currently theoretical and experimental evidences for metal-based ILs with different compositions, we firstly propose that the EDS performance should be influenced by the balance of the contribution of cation, metal-based anion, metal chlorides and the viscosity. | Hongping Li Beibei Zhang Wei Jiang Wenshuai Zhu Ming Zhang Chao Wang Jingyu Pang Huaming Li | 2019 | Green Energy & Environment2019,4,1: | 2
