2Operating condition influences on PCDD/Fs emissions from sinter pot tests with hot flue gas recycling显示文摘This study was designed to clarify the influence of operating conditions on the formation and emissions of polychlorinated-p-dibenzodioxins and dibenzofurans (PCDD/Fs) from a sintering process with hot flue gas recycling. A pilot scale sinter pot with simulated flue gas recycling was developed, and four key operational parameters, including temperature, oxygen content of the simulated waste flue gas, the coke rate of the sintering mixture, and the quicklime quality, were selected for exploring PCDD/Fs formation. The results showed that the temperature of the recycled flue gas had a major affect on PCDD/Fs formation, and a high temperature could significantly increase their formation during sintering. A clear linear correlation between the temperature of recycling flue gas and PCDD/Fs emission (r = 0.93) was found. PCDD/Fs could be reduced to a certain extent by decreasing the level of oxygen in the recycled flue gas, while sintering quality was unchanged. The coke rate had no significant influence on the formation of PCDD/Fs, but the quality of quicklime used in the sintering mixture could affect not only the amount of PCDD/Fs emissions but also the sintering productivity. Compared with a benchmark sinter pot test, PCDD/Fs emissions markedly decreased with improvements to quicklime quality. However, the reduction in PCDD/Fs emissions realized by using high-quality quicklime was limited by the temperature of the inlet gas. 3Resveratrol compares with melatonin in improving in vitro porcine oocyte maturation under heat stress显示文摘Background: Resveratrol, an important phyto-antioxidant commonly found in grapes, mulberry, and other plants,has a variety of functions including anti-aging, anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory activities. In the current study, we investigated the beneficial effects of resveratrol on in vitro porcine oocyte maturation under heat stress(HS). The effect of resveratrol, melatonin and their combination on alleviating HS was compared according to the maturation rate of oocytes and the development competence of embryos after parthenogenetic activation(PA).Results: Supplementation with resveratrol(2.0 μmol/L) not only improved the nuclear maturation but also raised the blastocyst rate of porcine embryos' PA from oocytes that underwent HS by increasing their glutathione(GSH)level, reducing reactive oxygen species(ROS) and up-regulating the expression of Sirtuin 1(SIRT1). It was also found that melatonin(10^(-7)mol/L) and the combination of resveratrol(2.0 μmol/L) plus melatonin(10^(-7)mol/L) exhibited more potent effects than resveratrol alone regarding their protective activities on oocyte maturation under HS.Conclusions: This study compared the efficiencies of resveratrol, melatonin and their combination for protecting porcine oocytes from heat stress. 4Cycle stability of lithium/garnet/lithium cells with different intermediate layers显示文摘The garnet-type electrolytes such as Ta-doped Li_7La_3Zr_2O_(12)(LLZTO) have been viewed as the promising electrolytes for solid-state lithium batteries, but it exhibits problem of high interfacial resistance(1960 Ω·cm^2) and short circuit when being cycled in Li/LLZTO/Li cells at the current density above 0.5 mA·cm^(-2). Introduction of intermediate layers in between lithium and LLZTO is helpful for decreasing the interfacial resistance and suppressing the growth of lithium dendrites. In this work, three kinds of intermediate layers of Au, Nb and Si with the thickness of 100 nm were prepared. Although the interfacial resistance with the Au layer decreases from 1960 to 32 Ω·cm^2, the cells can only cycle for 0.67 h at 0.5 mA·cm^(-2), related to the Au peeled off from the LLZTO. The Nb layers lead to the initial interfacial resistance of 14 Ω·cm^2, while showing extension of cycle time to 50 h with the increase in interfacial resistance due to the formation of the resistive Li–Nb–O phase. 5Enhancement of Bio-based para-Xylene Selectivity in Catalytic Fast Pyrolysis of Cellulose Using a Surface-modified Mg/P/HZSM-5 Catalyst显示文摘With the growing consumption of oil, the production of /?-xylene(PX) from renewable biomass has gained significant attention recently. This work demonstrated that cellulose, a main component in lignocellulosic biomass, was directly converted into PX over the Mg/P surface-modified zeolites. The catalysts modified by the incorporation of P2O5 and MgO into HZSM-5(HZ) promoted the isomerization of zw-/o-xylenes to p-xylene. The PX selectivity was greatly enhanced using the modified zeolites due to the deactivation of external surface and the adjustment of pore entrance. In addition, the addition of methanol to cellulose was beneficial to increase the selectivity of xylenes due to the alkylation reactions and the Diels-Alder reactions between cellulose-derived furans and methanol-derived olefins. The highest PX yield of 10.7%(molar fraction) with a high PX selectivity in xylenes(97.1%) was obtained over the 10%Mg/5%P/HZ catalyst. 6Associations between gene polymorphisms in two crucial metabolic pathways and growth traits in pigs显示文摘Propanoate metabolism and fatty acid metabolism are crucial metabolic pathways in vivo that have been studied extensively and have shown a significant influence on the growth and diseases of animals.In order to identify the essential genes significantly associated with porcine growth traits at the pathway level,we selected 14 candidate genes with 58 SNPs,including 24 tag SNPs and 34 predicted SNPs,in the two essential pathways to test using the SNaPshot mini-sequencing method.Association analysis was performed using both static and dynamic phenotypic records.The results showed that four SNPs,respectively in SUCLA2,SUCLG2,ACADS,and ALDH1B1,were significantly associated with growth in pigs.In addition,an exciting finding was that the change of transcription factor binding site that resulted from alteration of the bases in SUCLG2 brought out a transcription factor binding site for POU1F1a,which is the product of a notable marker gene for growth of animals.YANG Fan WANG QiongPing WANG MingHui HE Kan PAN YuChun 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,21:3
7Walking pace and the risk of stroke:A meta-analysis of prospective cohort studies显示文摘Purpose:The extent to which walking pace is associated with a reduced risk for stroke remains unclear.This study examined the association between walking pace and stroke risk based on prospective cohort studies.Methods:Databases of PubMed,EMBASE,Web of Science,Scopus,and China National Knowledge Internet were searched from the inception dates to January 31,2019,for prospective cohort studies focusing on walking pace and risk of stroke in adults.Two reviewers independently extracted data and assessed the quality of the studies.The dependent measure was stroke incidence.Using random-effects models,a metaanalysis was performed to estimate the overall relative risks(RR)of stroke incidence and 95%confidence intervals(CIs)for the individuals with the fastest walking paces vs.individuals with the slowest walking paces.A dose-response relationship was also examined.Results:After screening 1294 titles/abstracts and 14 full-text studies identified in the search,7 studies(from 8 cohorts)were included in the metaanalysis.The 7 studies included a total of 135,645 participants(95.2%women;mean age 63.6 years)and 2229 stroke events(median follow-up time=8.0 years).Compared to individuals in the slowest walking-pace category(median=1.6 km/h),individuals in the fastest walking-pace category(median=5.6 km/h)had a 44%lower risk of stroke(pooled RR=0.56,95%CI:0.48-0.65).There was also a linear dose-response relationship(RR=0.87;95%CI:0.83-0.91),with the risk of stroke decreased by 13%for every 1 km/h increment in baseline walking pace.We observed similar results across walking-pace assessment,type of stroke ascertainment,stroke subtypes,sex,sample size,and duration of follow-up.Conclusion:Findings from this meta-analysis indicate that walking pace is inversely associated with the risk of stroke.Minghui Quan Pengcheng Xun Ru Wang Ka He Peijie Chen 2020Journal of Sport and Health Science2020,9,6:2

9Benefits of Zr addition to oxidation resistance of a single-phase (Ni,Pt)Al coating at 1373 K显示文摘A single-phase (Ni,Pt)Al coating with lean addition of Zr was prepared by co-electroplating of Pt-Zr com posite plating and subsequent gaseous alum inization treatm ents. Isotherm al and cyclic oxidation behavior of the Zr-doped (Ni,Pt)Al coating sam ples was assessed at 1373K in static air in comparison with plain nickel alum inide (NiAl) and norm al (Ni,Pt)Al coatings. Results indicated th at Zr-doped (Ni,Pt)Al coating dem onstrated a lower oxidation rate constant and reduced tendency of oxide scale spallation as well as surface rumpling, in which the enhanced oxidation perform ance was m ainly attributed to the segregation of Zr at oxide scale grain boundaries and the im proved Young's modulus of the coating. 10Tuning the crystallite size of monoclinic ZrO_(2) to reveal critical roles of surface defects on m–ZrO_(2) catalyst for direct synthesis of isobutene from syngas显示文摘The effects of crystallite size on the physicochemical properties and surface defects of pure monoclinic ZrO_(2) catalysts for isobutene synthesis were studied.We prepared a series of monoclinic ZrO_(2) catalysts with different crystallite size by changing calcination temperature and evaluated their catalytic performance for isobutene synthesis from syngas.ZrO_(2) with small crystalline size showed higher CO conversion and isobutene selectivity,while samples with large crystalline size preferred to form dimethyl ether(DME)instead of hydrocarbons,much less to isobutene.Oxygen defects(ODefects)analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)provided evidence that more ODefectsoccupied on the surface of ZrO_(2) catalysts with smaller crystalline size.Electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)and ultraviolet–visible diffuse reflectance(UV–vis DRS)confirmed the presence of high concentration of surface defects and Zr3+on mZrO_(2)-5.9 sample,respectively.In situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(in situ DRIFTS)analysis indicated that the adsorption strength of formed formate species on catalyst reduced as the crystalline size decreased.These results suggested that surface defects were responsible for CO activation and further influenced the adsorption strength of surface species,and thus the products distribution changed.This study provides an in-depth insight for active sites regulation of ZrO_(2) catalyst in CO hydrogenation reaction.Xuemei Wu Minghui Tan Bing Xu Shengying Zhao Qingxiang Ma Yingluo He Chunyang Zeng Guohui Yang Noritatsu Tsubaki Yisheng Tan 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,7:1

Considering high order parasites, the model is established by comprising an improved skin effect branch and a substrate lateral coupling branch. The parameter extraction is based on an improved characteristic function approach and vector fitting method. 17Dislocation reconfiguration during creep deformation of an Al-Cu-Li alloy via electropulsing显示文摘Creep mechanism was well-known to be mainly dominated by the dislocation sliding and climbing during creep deformation. Here we study the creep deformation of an Al-Cu-Li alloy with the assistance of electropulsing and subsequent microstructural observations. We find that creep strain increased drastically under electropulsing and was almost twelve times as much as that of the non-pulsed sample. Microstructural observations confirmed that dislocation reconfiguration happens via electropulsing, namely helical dislocations being opened rapidly. This opened dislocation structure can possess a much higher mobility than the initial helical dislocation, which mostly responsible for the greatly increased creep strain. 19Systematic Evaluation of Pharmacognostic Identification of Polygonum capitatum显示文摘[Objectives] To investigate the systematic evaluation of pharmacognostic identification of Polygonum capitatum . [Methods] 10 batches of P. capitatum cultivated in Guizhou were chosen for plant samples. Macroscopical identification was conducted on plant roots, stems, leaves, flowers and fruits. The P. capitatum powder was processed for physical and chemical distinction by FeCl 3 chromogenic reaction, hydrochloric acid magnesium powder reaction, AlCl 3 color development reaction and thin-layer chromatography.Microscope identification was carried out on the powder. Plant genome DNeasy Plant Kit was adopted for DNA molecular marker identification. [Results] The results showed that the stem of P. capitatum was tufted, the leaves were oval, 2 to 5 cm long, and 1 to 2 cm wide;the leaf apex was acute and cuneate at the base, the inflorescence was capitate, paired or solitary;the raceme was erect and nearly spherical, and the perianth was light red. Furthermore, for the chromogenic reaction of FeCl 3 ethanol extract of P. capitatum , appeared blue and turned to dark blue after long time storing at room temperature. For the reaction of hydrochloric acid magnesium powder, the alcohol extract of P. capitatum , exhibited deep red. In the color reaction of AlCl 3, the alcohol extract revealed yellow fluorescence under 360 nm UV lamp. Microscope identification of the powder displayed pollen grains, crystal sheath fibers, cellulose, vessels, starch grains, cork cells, and other characteristic fragments. In addition, DNA barcoding electrophoresis results showed that P. capitatum showed a clear and bright single band near 500 bp, and further sequencing results showed that the sequence differences were mainly concentrated in ITS1 and ITS2 region. [Conclusions] Systematic evaluation for the identification of P. capitatum is established, which combines with macroscopic identification, physicochemical identification, powder microscope identification, and DNA molecular identification.
