| 2 | Parthenolide increases the sensitivity of gastric cancer cells to chemotherapy显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of parthenolide(PTL),a sesquiterpene lactone medicinal compound,on the sensitivity of the gastric cancer cell line SGC7901 and the DPP-and ADR-resistant sublines SGC7901/DDP and SGC7901/ADR to cisplatin[diamminedichloroplatinum(Ⅱ),DDP]and adriamycin(ADR)in vitro.METHODS:SGC7901,SGC7901/DDP,and SGC7901/ADR were treated with various concentrations of PTL alone or in combination with DDP or ADR.The effects on cell proliferation,apoptosis,and expression/activity of several proliferation/apoptosis-related proteins[B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2),cyclin D1,nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB),and Caspase-8]and drug transporters(P-glycoprotein and multidrug resistance protein-1)were measured using flow cytometry,Western blotting,and in vitro activity assays.RESULTS:Treatment of SGC7901 cells with PTL inhibited cell growth,increased apoptosis,and sensitized the cells to DPP.Mechanistically,PTL treatment resulted in downregulation of NF-κB activity and Bcl-2 expression,and upregulation of Caspase-8 activity.Similarly,PTL co-treatment of SGC7901/DDP and SGC7901/ADR overcame their resistance to DDP and ADR,respectively,with concomitant inhibition of NF-κB,Bcl-2,Cyclin D1,P-glycoprotein,and multidrug resistance protein-1 expression and/or activity.CONCLUSION:PTL treatment decreases drug resistance in SGC7901,SGC7901/DDP,and SGC7901/ADR cells,as reflected by induction of apoptosis,inhibition of proliferation,downregulation of pro-survival and drug resistance pathways,and upregulation of pro-apoptotic pathways.Our results suggest that co-treatment with PTL may thus complement existing therapies for gastric cancer. | Liu Minghua Yang Ying Liu Dajun Cao Ye Li Yan | 2020 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,6: | 5 |

| 4 | Enhanced bioactivity and interfacial bonding strength of Ti3Zr2Sn3Mo25Nb alloy through graded porosity and surface bioactivation显示文摘The gradient porous Ti3Zr2Sn3Mo25Nb(TLM)alloy rods were fabricated through sintering the alloyed powder to a solid core.The porous sample was then modified by a Micro Arc Oxidation(MAO)treatment in an electrolyte containing calcium and phosphate,a hydrothermal treatment enabled secondary microporous hydroxyapatite(HA)coating,and a further bone morphogenetic protein-2(BMP-2)loading treatment through immersion and freeze-drying.The treatment led to an orderly secondary microporous coating containing HA nano-particles and evenly distributed BMP-2 in the porous coatings.As a result,osteoblasts could adhere and grow well on the coatings with a high cell adhesion rate and cell functional activity.The in-situ shear testing indicated that the interfacial strength had been enhanced significantly.Improvement of the bond formation and osseointegration with the titanium implant is attributed to increased surface area for the cell to attach,creating voids for the cell to grow in,and activating titanium surface by introducing bioactive ingredients such as HA and BMP-2. | Sen Yu Zhe Yu Dagang Guo Hui Zhu Minghua Zhang Jianye Han Zhentao Yu Yemin Cao Gui Wang | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,5: | 3 |

| 6 | Immune Recognition Method Based on Analogy Reasoning in Intrusion Detection System显示文摘In this paper, we propose an analogy based immune recognition method that focuses on the implement of the clone selection process and the negative selection process by means of analogy similarity. This method is applied in an IDS(Intrusion Detection System) following several steps. Firstly, the initial abnormal behaviours sample set is optimized through the combining of the AIS(Artificial Immune System) and the genetic algorithm. | 11 | Pt_(1)/Ni_(6)Co_(1)layered double hydroxides/N-doped graphene for electrochemical non-enzymatic glucose sensing by synergistic enhancement of single atoms and doping显示文摘The development of novel single-atom catalysts is important for highly efficient electrochemical catalysis and sensing.In this work,a novel Pt single atoms(SAs)supported on Ni_(6)Co_(1)layered double hydroxides/nitrogen-doped graphene(Pt_(1)/Ni_(6)Co_(1)LDHs/NG)was constructed for electrochemical enzyme-free catalysis and sensing towards glucose.The loading of Pt single atoms increases with doping of Co atoms that generate more anchoring sites for Pt SAs.The resulting Pt_(1)/Ni_(6)Co_(1)LDHs/NG exhibits low oxidative potential of 0.440 V with high sensitivity of 273.78μA·mM^(−1)·cm^(−2)toward glucose,which are 85 mV lower and 15 times higher than those of Ni(OH)_(2),respectively.Pt_(1)/Ni_(6)Co_(1)LDHs/NG also shows excellent selectivity and great stability during 5-week testing.Theoretical and experimental results show that the boosted performance of Pt_(1)/Ni_(6)Co_(1)LDHs/NG originates from its stronger binding energy with glucose and the synergistic effect of Pt SAs,Co doping,and NG.This work provides a general strategy of designing highly active SACs for extending their application in electrochemical sensing. | Baojun Long Peiyu Cao Yuanmeng Zhao Qianqian Fu Yan Mo Yueming Zhai Juejing Liu Xingyi Lyu Tao Li Xiaofeng Guo Changsheng Shan Minghua Zeng | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,1: | 0 |
