3In-field automatic detection of maize tassels using computer vision显示文摘The heading stage of maize is an important period during its growth and development and indicates the beginning of its pollination.In this regard,an automated method for maize tassel detection is highly important to monitor maize growth.However,the recognition of maize heading stage mainly relies on visual evaluation.This method presents some limitations,such as expensive and subjective.This work proposed a novel method for automatic tassel detection.In the proposed algorithm,a color attenuation prior model was used to model the scene depth of saturation graph to remove image saturation.An Itti visual attention detection algorithm was used to detect the area of interest.Texture features and vegetation indices were used to develop a classification model to eliminate false positives.Pictures were captured using a commercial camera for two years to verify the stability of the proposed algorithm.Three indices were calculated to quantitatively assess and rate the algorithms.Experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms other existing methods,and its recall,precision,and F1 measure values are 86.30%,91.44%,and 88.36%,respectively.Results indicate that the proposed method can effectively detect maize tassels in field images and remain stable with time.Mingqiang Ji Yu Yang Yang Zheng Qibing Zhu Min Huang Ya Guo 2021Information Processing in Agriculture2021,8,1:0
4State of health estimation for lithium-ion batteries in real-world electric vehicles显示文摘The state of health(SOH) plays a significant role in the mileage and safety of an electric vehicle(EV). In recent years, many methods based on data-driven analysis and laboratory measurements have been developed for SOH estimation. However, most of these proposed methods cannot be applied to real-world EVs. Here, we present a method for SOH estimation based on realworld EV data. A battery-aging evaluation health index(HI) with a strong correlation to the SOH is retrieved from battery-aging data and then modified with thermal factors to depict the former SOH. Afterward, a local weighted linear-regression algorithm is used to qualitatively characterize the declining trend of the HI, which eliminates the local HI fluctuation caused by data noise.Subsequently, a series of features-of-interest(FOIs) is extracted according to the battery consistency, cell-voltage extrema, and cumulative mileage, and validated using the grey relational analysis. Finally, a battery-degradation model is built using the extreme gradient-boosting algorithm with the selected FOIs. 6Lithium-ion battery degradation trajectory early prediction with synthetic dataset and deep learning显示文摘Knowing the long-term degradation trajectory of Lithium-ion(Li-ion) battery in its early usage stage is critical for the maintenance of the battery energy storage system(BESS) in reality. Previous battery health diagnosis methods focus on capacity and state of health(SOH) estimation which can receive only the short-term health status of the cell. This paper proposes a novel degradation trajectory prediction method with synthetic dataset and deep learning, which enables to grasp the characterization of the cell's health at a very early stage of Li-ion battery usage. A transferred convolutional neural network(CNN) is chosen to finalize the early prediction target, and the polynomial function based synthetic dataset generation strategy is designed to reduce the costly data collection procedure in real application. In this thread, the proposed method needs one full lifespan data to predict the overall degradation trajectories of other cells. 7A methodology for constructing the aircraft design schema显示文摘Aircraft collaboration design is based on a unified set of schemas containing data and model representations and interfaces across disciplines.The aircraft design schema is a central data model that specifies the paradigm for the representation of a full lifecycle model of aircraft design.The construction of the schema currently lacks theoretical guidance.This paper designs a novel methodology to construct the aircraft design schema,a fully functional,logical,and selfconsistent methodology.The methodology defines a schema matrix that includes implementation strategies,principles,processes,meta-object facility,views,scenarios,and products.The aircraft conceptual design schema is constructed according to the methodology,which is a hands-on approach to help understand the concept and implementation.The features of the methodology are analyzed,and the methodology and the aircraft conceptual design schema are presented to address the pain points of multiple solution trade-offs,multiple iterations,and multidisciplinary coupling in aircraft conceptual collaboration design.Xiaojian SUN Mingqiang LUO Zhiyang CUI Zhenpeng JI Hu LIU 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,8:0
