| 1 | Comparison between double-balloon and single-balloon enteroscopy in therapeutic ERC after Roux-en-Y entero-enteric anastomosis显示文摘AIM:To compare the efficacy of double-balloon enteroscopy (DBE) and single-balloon enteroscopy (SBE) in therapeutic endoscopic retrograde cholangiography (ERC) in patients with Roux-en-Y entero-enteric anastomosis.METHODS:Retrospective analysis of our patient cohort revealed 4 patients with enterobiliary anastomosis and Roux-en-Y entero-enteric anastomosis who underwent repeated ERC with DBE and SBE because of recurrent cholangitis.RESULTS:A total of 38 endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography procedures were performed in 25 patients with Roux-en-Y entero-enteric anastomosis.DBE was used in 29 procedures and SBE in 9.The 4 patients who underwent repeated ERC with DBE and SBE suffered from recurrent cholangitis due to stenosis of the enterobiliary anastomosis.ERC was performed repeatedly to achieve balloon dilation with/without biliary stone extraction and multiple stent placement at the level of the enterobiliary anastomosis.In all 4 patients DBE and SBE were equally successful.Compared to DBE,SBE was equally effective in passing the Roux-en-Y entero-enteric anastomosis,reaching the enterobiliary anastomosis and performing therapeutic ERC.CONCLUSION:This retrospective comparison shows that DBE and SBE are equally successful in the performance of therapeutic ERC at the level of the enterobiliary anastomosis after Roux-en-Y entero-enteric anastomosis. | Tom G Moreels Paul A Pelckmans | 2010 | World Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy2010，2，9： | 14 |
| 2 | Schistosoma mansoni proteins attenuate gastrointestinal motility disturbances during experimental colitis in mice显示文摘AIM:To investigate the therapeutic effect of Schistosoma mansoni(S.mansoni) soluble worm proteins on gastrointestinal motility disturbances during experimental colitis in mice. METHODS:Colitis was induced by intrarectal injection of trinitrobenzene sulphate(TNBS) and 6 h later,mice were treated ip with S.mansoni proteins.Experiments were performed 5 d after TNBS injection.Inflammationwas quantified using validated inflammation parameters. Gastric emptying and geometric center were measured to assess in vivo gastrointestinal motility.Peristaltic activity of distal colonic segments was studied in vitro using a modified Trendelenburg set-up.Cytokine profiles of T-lymphocytes isolated from the colon were determined by real time reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction. RESULTS:Intracolonic injection of TNBS caused severe colitis.Treatment with S.mansoni proteins significantly ameliorated colonic inflammation after 5 d.TNBS did not affect gastric emptying but significantly decreased the geometric center and impaired colonic peristaltic activity 5 d after the induction of colitis.Treatment with S.mansoni proteins ameliorated these in vivo and in vitro motility disturbances.In addition,TNBS injection caused a downregulation of effector T cell cytokines after 5 d,whereas a S.mansoni protein effect was no longer observed at this time point. | 5 | Polymer assisted deposition of high-quality CsPbI2Br film with enhanced film thickness and stability显示文摘Inorganic halide perovskites such as cesium lead iodide(CsPbI3)have drawn tremendous attention,as their tunable band gaps are desirable for solar cells as well as light emitting diodes.However,due to their low Goldschmidt tolerance factor,the cubic phase of bulk CsPbX3-the variant with desirable band gap-is not stable in ambient,especially in humid air.Besides,the low solubility of CsX in precursor makes it difficult to control the film thickness and morphology of CsPbX3,which becomes another obstacle for the practical application of inorganic perovskite.Here,we report a polymer assisted deposition of high-quality CsPbI2Br film by spin-coating a polymer-blended CsPbI2Br precursor.The long-chained polymer increases the viscosity of the solution,which enables us to achieve a ca.700-nm thick film with a low solution concentration of CsPbI2Br.Moreover,the polymer network helps to regulate the crystallization process and provides more crystallization sites for perovskite film,reducing grain size and thus improving the film coverage.Perovskite solar cells with the polymer network exhibit improved efficiency and reproducibility(0.72%standard deviation).Moreover,the device demonstrates excellent robustness against moisture and oxygen,and maintains 90%of its initial power conversion efficiency(PCEs)after aging 4 months in ambient conditions.The conception of polymer incorporation into inorganic perovskite films paves a way to further increase the performance,stability and reproducibility of inorganic perovskite devices. | Jing Wei Xi Wang Xiangyu Sun Zhaofeng Yang Iwan Moreels Kun Xu Hongbo Li | 2020 | Nano Research2020，13，3： | 6 |

| 7 | Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography in patients with altered anatomy: How to deal with the challenges?显示文摘Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP) in patients with surgically altered anatomy is challenging. Several operative interventions of both the gastrointestinal tract and the biliary and/or pancreatic system lead to altered anatomy, rendering ERCP more difficult or even impossible with a conventional side-viewing duodenoscope. Adapted endoscopes are avail-able to reach the biliopancreatic system and to perform ERCP in patients with altered anatomy. However, both technical difficulties and complications determine the procedure's success. Different technical approaches have been described and are highly dependent on local expertise and endoscopic equipment. Standard-ized practical guidelines are currently unavailable. This review focuses on the challenges encountered during ERCP in patients with altered anatomy and how to deal with them. The first challenge is reaching the papilla or the bilioenteric/pancreatoenteric anastomosis in the patient with postoperative altered anatomy. The sec-ond challenge is the cannulation of the biliopancreatic system and performing all conventional ERCP interven-tions and the third challenge is the control of possible complications. | 8 | How to treat intestinal obstruction due to malignant recurrence after Whipple's resection for pancreatic head cancer: description of 2 new endoscopic techniques显示文摘The prognosis of pancreatic cancer remains poor,even after initial surgical therapy. Local recurrence after Whipple's pancreatico-duodenectomy may lead to intestinal obstruction at the level of the afferent limb or the alimentary limb. Endoscopic insertion of a selfexpandable metal stent(SEMS) into the intestinal malignant stricture is the preferred method of choice for palliation. We describe two new endoscopic techniques to treat a malignant intestinal obstruction with the insertion of a SEMS into the afferent limb and the alimentary limb. A case of malignant gastric outlet obstruction after a Whipple's resection was treated by the creation of an endoscopic gastrojejunostomy by the insertion of a lumen apposing Hot Axios stent in between the stomach and the alimentary limb under fluoroscopic and endoscopic ultrasound control. Biliary obstruction and jaundice caused by a malignant stricture of the afferent limb after a Roux-en-Y Whipple's resection was treated by the insertion of a SEMS by means of the single-balloon overtube-assisted technique under fluoroscopic control.
