1Preparation and self-assembly of amphiphilic polymer with aggregation-induced emission characteristics显示文摘An amphiphilic polymer bearing tetraphenylethene (TPE) moiety was synthesized by convenient reactions. The polymer exhibits unique aggregation-induced emission (AIE) characteristics and can self-assemble to size-tunable particles in DMF/water mixtures. 2Coexistence of multiple coronaviruses in several bat colonies in an abandoned mineshaft显示文摘Since the 2002–2003 severe acute respiratory syndrome(SARS) outbreak prompted a search for the natural reservoir of the SARS coronavirus, numerous alpha- and betacoronaviruses have been discovered in bats around the world. Bats are likely the natural reservoir of alpha- and betacoronaviruses, and due to the rich diversity and global distribution of bats, the number of bat coronaviruses will likely increase. We conducted a surveillance of coronaviruses in bats in an abandoned mineshaft in Mojiang County, Yunnan Province, China, from 2012–2013. Six bat species were frequently detected in the cave: Rhinolophus sinicus, Rhinolophus affinis, Hipposideros pomona, Miniopterus schreibersii, Miniopterus fuliginosus, and Miniopterus fuscus. By sequencing PCR products of the coronavirus RNA-dependent RNA polymerase gene(Rd Rp), we found a high frequency of infection by a diverse group of coronaviruses in different bat species in the mineshaft. Sequenced partial Rd Rp fragments had 80%–99% nucleic acid sequence identity with well-characterized Alphacoronavirus species, including Bt CoV HKU2, Bt CoV HKU8, and Bt CoV1,and unassigned species Bt CoV HKU7 and Bt CoV HKU10. Additionally, the surveillance identified two unclassified betacoronaviruses, one new strain of SARS-like coronavirus, and one potentially new betacoronavirus species. Furthermore, coronavirus co-infection was detected in all six bat species, a phenomenon that fosters recombination and promotes the emergence of novel virus strains. 3Cognitive Frequency Hopping Sequences显示文摘Since the immutable conventional Frequency hopping(FH) sequence cannot keep high FH communication reliability in complex electromagnetic environment, we propose an algorithm that can generate high-performance Cognitive frequency hopping sequence(CFHS) for Cognitive frequency hopping(CFH) system.By employing the pseudo-random perturbation mapping,the CFHS is generated by remapping the block cipher FH sequence with the adaptive frequency slot number and frequency gap. The CFHS inherits the great integrated performance and its parameters could change with the electromagnetic environment. The statistics properties of Markov and uniformity are analyzed based on the Markov process theory and probability theory. Simulation results show that CFHS outperforms the widely-used FH sequences on the performance of uniformity, randomness, Hamming correlation, complexity and sensitivity. 4An improvement to the reciprocating gait orthosis for aiding paraplegic patients in walking显示文摘As the conventional reciprocating gait orthosis(RGO)has been deemed incapable of facilitating the patients’passive movement with significant gait discrepancies and distortion,in addition to characteristics such as poor stability,and negligible knee joint rehabilitation,a power assisted reciprocating gait orthosis(PARGO)was designed.Drive devices were added to the hip and knee joints of the RGO.Through efficient implementation of structural components,the number of the required motors was reduced,therefore decreasing the weight of the orthosis.The PARGO knee joint’s structural principle was analyzed to characterize the effect of the PARGO’s single-axis knee joint design on wear comfort,thereby providing a basis for the wear of the PARGO.By analyzing the sagittal movement patterns of the hip and knee joints during normal human gait,kinematic analysis was carried out to obtain the input patterns of the PARGO hip and knee joint drive motors,enabling the patients to more accurately reproduce the normal gaits of hip and knee joints during the rehabilitation training with the aid of the PARGO,and the control process of the PARGO was studied.Finally,a prototype of the PARGO was developed,and experimentation was carried out to demonstrate the feasibility of the improved orthosis.CHEN Dian Sheng NING Meng ZHANG Ben Guang YANG Guang 2015Science China(Technological Sciences)2015,58,4:2

6Multifractal analysis of resting state fMRI series in default mode network: age and gender effects显示文摘Age-related changes of resting state in default mode network(DMN)may provide new clues to the developing mechanism of normal brain as well as early diagnosis and therapy of some neuropsychiatric disorders.The application of multifractal theory to functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI)signals has recently raised increasing attention.We aim to explore the multifractal characteristics underlying the resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging(rs-fMRI)series extracted from DMN,and two issues are mainly discussed:(1)whether there exist multifractals in rs-fMRI series;(2)whether it is possible to distinguish between the different ages or genders by means of multifractal characteristics.Results demonstrated the existence of multifractals in rs-fMRI series in DMN.In addition,slight differences between young subjects and middle-aged or elderly subjects can be successfully detected by Dasa,a modified measure we proposed.Furthermore,it is revealed that the rs-fMRI series from young subjects possess smaller averaged scale index and weaker long range correlation,while those from middle-aged or elderly people present increasing averaged scale index andstronger long range correlation.Whereas no significant statistical differences has been found between male and female group.Our results,therefore,highlight the potential usefulness of multifractal analysis in fMRI series of a certain brain region,and provide important insights into healthy aging in DMN.Huangjing Ni Xiaolin Huang Xinbao Ning Chengyu Huo Tiebing Liu De Ben 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,25:2

15In situ Carbon Modification of g-C3N4 from Urea co-Crystal with Enhanced Photocatalytic Activity Towards Degradation of Organic Dyes Under Visible Light显示文摘An in sitt strategy was introduced for synthesizing carbon modified graphitic carbon nitride(g-C3N4)by using urea/4-aminobenzoic acid(PABA)co-crystal(PABA@Urea)as precursor materials.Via co-calcination of the PABA co-former and the urea in PABA@a Urea co-crystals,C guest species were generated and compounded into g-C3Na matrix in situ by replacing the lattice N of the carbon nitride and forming carbon dots onto its layer surface.The carbon modification dramatically enhanced visible-light harvesting and charge carrier separation.Therefore.visible light photo-catalytic oxidation of methylene blue(MB)pollution in water over the carbon modified g-C3Na(C/g-C3Na)was notably improved.Up to 99%of methylene blue(MB)was eliminated within 60 min by the optima sample prepared from the PABA@Urea co-crystal with a PABA content of 0.1%(mass ratio),faster than the degrada-tion rate over bare g-C3N4.The present study demonstrates a new way to boost up the photocatalysis performance of g-C3Na,which holds great potential concerning the degradation of organic dyes from water.ZHAO Weifeng HAO Ning ZHANG Gai MA Aijie CHEN Weixing ZHOU Hongwei YANG Dong XU Ben Bin KONG Jie 2020Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2020,36,6:1
