| 1 | Analysis of Chang’e-5 lunar core drilling process显示文摘Chang’e-5 explorer successfully acquired lunar regolith core samples from depths of greater than 1 m of lunar surface.This study analyzed the lunar core drilling process based on the telemetry data,image information,and returned samples to optimize the sampling device design and enhance the understanding of the lunar regolith.In particular,a prediction method for the projected drilling path and local terrain fitting of drilling dip angle was proposed based on the flight events recorded during the core drilling process and the image information acquired before,during,and after sampling.The results revealed that the drilling dip angle of Chang’e-5 was approximately2.3.,and the deviation of the drilling length and depth was less than 2 mm.For continuous drilling,a fusion method based on telemetry data and image information was applied to determine the demarcation point of drilling with and without the lunar soil.The position of the demarcation point implied that the drilling point remained at approximately 6 mm loose soil,thereby lagging the action of the force response.Additionally,a characteristic parameter comparison method was proposed for the lunar and ground drilling to analyze the status of the lunar soil.Furthermore,the analysis results revealed that the majority of the Chang’e-5 drilling samples were derived from 0–73.8 cm below the lunar surface and few samples were extracted below 73.8 cm,as the drilling encountered several rocky regions.Moreover,the drilling point exhibited two prominent stratification variations at~28.7 cm and~70 cm below the lunar surface.Ultimately,the preliminary relationship between sample dissected position in soft tube and drilling displacement was analyzed.The segmented estimation results can support research on subsurface lunar soil. | Yanhong ZHENG Mengfei YANG Xiangjin DENG Shengyi JIN Jing PENG Yan SU Zheng GU Liping CHEN Yong PANG Nai ZHANG | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,2: | 3 |

| 6 | Genome-wide association study revealed genetic variations of ABA sensitivity controlled by multiple stress-related genes in rice显示文摘Abscisic acid(ABA)is a critical phytohormone that regulates multiple physiological processes including plant growth and stress tolerance.The core ABA signaling pathway has been well established,but genetic variations mediating ABA responses remain largely unknown.In this study,we performed genome-wide association study(GWAS)to identify loci and genes associated with ABA sensitivity(reflected by seed germination inhibition by ABA)in a panel of 425 rice accessions.The seed germination assay revealed that Aus and indica rice had stronger ABA sensitivity than japonica rice.A total of 48 non-redundant association loci were detected in the indica subpopulation and whole population,and 386 genes in these loci were responsive to ABA or abiotic stresses.Eight association loci were overlapped with previously reported loci for yield under drought stress or for droughtindicative image traits.Haplotype analyses of important candidate genes such as OsSAPK6,a key component in the ABA signaling core,were performed to identify key SNPs/InDels that may affect gene functions through promoter activity regulation,amino acid variation,or gene splicing.These results provide insights into the genetic basis of ABA sensitivity related to stress responses. | Lei Peng Tingting Xie Zilong Guo Xiaokai Li Yu Chang Haifu Tu Shengchang Wang Nai Wu Yilong Yao Lizhong Xiong | 2021 | Stress Biology2021,1,1: | 0 |

| 8 | Synthesis of dispersed long single-crystalline TiO_2 paste and its application in DSSC as a scattering layer显示文摘Ti O2 nanowire(NW) is one of the potential scattering layer materials in dye-sensitized solar cells(DSSCs) owing to its fast electron conductivity and excellent light scattering property resulting from its one-dimensional(1D) morphology. However, Ti O2 NWs used as scattering layers in previous work were either aggregated or shortened into shuttles that cannot use their unique 1D properties. In this paper, we present the preparation of a well-dispersed long NW paste(exceeding 1 ?m) by a mild method and used as a scattering layer in DSSC. The paste achieved a photoconversion efficiency of 5.73% and an efficiency enhancement of 12% compared with commercial scattering layer(P200 paste). Compared with the DSSC without a scattering layer, an efficiency enhancement of 54.9% was achieved. Also, the largest efficiency of 6.89% was obtained after optimization of photoanode thickness. The photoanodes were investigated through dye desorbed experiments and transmission spectra, which suggested that P25 nanoparticles with the as-prepared NW scattering layer loaded more dye than those with P200 paste. | 10 | Control of rice ratooning ability by a nucleoredoxin that inhibits histidine kinase dimerization to attenuate cytokinin signaling in axillary buds显示文摘Rice ratooning,the fast outgrowth of dormant buds on stubble,is an important cropping practice in rice production.However,the low ratooning ability(RA)of most rice varieties restricts the application of this cost-efficient system,and the genetic basis of RA remains unknown.In this study,we dissected the genetic architecture of RA by a genome-wide association study in a natural rice population.Rice ratooning ability 3(RRA3),encoding a hitherto not characterized nucleoredoxin involved in reduction of disulfide bonds,was identified as the causal gene of a major locus controlling RA.Overexpression of RRA3 in rice significantly accelerated leaf senescence and reduced RA,whereas knockout of RRA3 significantly delayed leaf senescence and increased RA and ratoon yield.We demonstrated that RRA3 interacts with Oryza sativa histidine kinase 4(OHK4),a cytokinin receptor,and inhibits the dimerization of OHK4 through disulfide bond reduction.This inhibition ultimately led to decreased cytokinin signaling and reduced RA.In addition,variations in the RRA3 promoter were identified to be associated with RA.Introgression of a superior haplotype with weak expression of RRA3 into the elite rice variety Guichao 2 significantly increased RA and ratoon yield by 23.8%.Collectively,this study not only uncovers an undocumented regulatory mechanism of cytokinin signaling through de-dimerization of a histidine kinase receptor-but also provides an eximious gene with promising value for ratoon rice breeding. | Yilong Yao Denghao Xiang Nai Wu Yao Wang Yu Chen Yang Yuan Ying Ye Dan Hu Chang Zheng Yu Yan Qingya Lv Xiaokai Li Guoxing Chen Honghong Hu Haiyan Xiong Shaobing Peng Lizhong Xiong | 2023 | Molecular Plant2023,16,12: | 0 |
