1Progress of Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA)显示文摘Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA) will take the advantage of the ultra-low background of CJPL lab and high current accelerator based on an ECR source and a highly sensitive detector to directly study for the first time a number of crucial reactions occurring at their relevant stellar energies during the evolution of hydrostatic stars. In its first phase, JUNA aims at the direct measurements of^(25)Mg(p,γ)^(26)Al,^(19)F(p,α)^(16)O,^(13)C(α,n)^(16)O and ^(12)C(α,γ)^(16)O reactions. The experimental setup,which includes an accelerator system with high stability and high intensity, a detector system, and a shielding material with low background, will be established during the above research. 2Selective hydrocracking of light cycle oil into high-octane gasoline over bi-functional catalysts显示文摘Light cycle oil(LCO) with high content of poly-aromatics was difficult to upgrade and convert,which had hindered upgrading fuel quality to meet with the standard of automotive diesel for the purpose of sustainable development.The hydrocracking behaviors of typical aromatics in LCO of naphthalene and tetralin were investigated over NiMo and CoMo catalysts.Several characterization methods including N2-adsoprtion and desorption,ammonia temperature-programmed desorption(NH3-TPD),Pyridine infrared spectroscopy(Py-IR),CO infrared spectroscopy(CO-IR),Raman and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) were applied to determine the properties of different catalysts.The results showed that CoMo catalyst with high concentration of S-edges could hydrosaturate more naphthalene to tetralin but exhibit lower yield of high-value light aromatics(carbon numbers less than 10) than NiMo catalyst.NiMo catalyst with high concentration of Mo-edges also presented a higher selectivity of converting naphthalene into cyclanes than CoMo catalyst.Subsequently,the naphthalene and LCO hydrocracking performances were also investigated over different catalysts systems.The activity evaluation and kinetic analysis results showed that the naphthalene hydrocracking conversion and the yield of light aromatics for CoMo-AY/NiMo-AY grading catalysts were higher than NiMo-AY/CoMo-AY grading catalysts at same condition.A stepwise reaction principle was proposed to explain the high efficiency of CoMo-AY/NiMoAY grading catalysts.Finally,the LCO hydrocracking evaluation results confirmed that CoMo-AY/NiMoAY catalysts grading system with low carbon deposition and high stability could remain high percentage of active phases,which was more efficient to convert LCO to high-octane gasoline.Zhengkai Cao Xia Zhang Chunming Xu Xinlu Huang Ziming Wu Chong Peng Aijun Duan 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,1:3
3DNA polymerase beta overexpression correlates with poor prognosis in esophageal cancer patients显示文摘Gene of DNA polymerase beta (pol ) plays an important role in base excision repair, DNA replication and translesion synthesis. This study aims to investigate the expression and prognostic significance of DNA pol in esophageal cancer. DNA pol expression was analyzed using real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) and immunohistochemical staining on tissue samples from a consecutive series of 114 esophageal squamous carcinoma patients who underwent resections between 2002 and 2006. Pol expression was investigated on its correlation to clinico-pathological factors and survival. RT-qPCR results showed higher expression of DNA pol mRNA in tumor tissue than in its matched adjacent non-tumor tissue sample, different expression of DNA pol mRNA was noticed with significance between tumors with and without lymph node metastasis. Immunohistochemistry staining results indicated the pol strong-positive rate was 44.73% (51/114) in tumor tissue samples and 0.00% in matched adjacent non-tumor tissue samples, with significant difference. Kaplan-Meier survival curves revealed that high expression of pol was associated with tumor metastasis and poor prognosis in esophageal cancer patients. 4CuO nanoflowers/copper fiber felt integrated porous electrode for lithium-ion batteries显示文摘The structure of current collectors has significant effects on the performance of a lithium-ion battery(LIB).In this study,we use copper fiber felts made by multi-tooth cutting and high-temperature solid-phase sintering as the current collector for LIBs.An integrated porous electrode based on CuO nanoflowers/copper fiber felt is developed for the anode.Results suggest that the reversible capacity and cycle stability of this new anode are significantly improved,compared with the pristine bare-surface copper plate under the same condition of rate cycles.The new anode structure based on the copper-fiber felt with a porosity of 60%exhibits a higher performance with an initial specific capacity of 609.5 mAh g^(-1)and retains 486.1 mAh g^(-1)after 200 cycles at a current density of 0.5 C.The improved electrochemical performance of this electrode is attributed to its large surface area of CuO nanoflowers and porous structure of the copper fiber felt,due to enhanced contact between the active material of CuO nanoflowers and electrolyte.This pore-rich structure makes the electrolyte easy to permeate into the electrode,shortens the diffusion path of Li^(+),reduces the internal resistance and alleviates the volume expansion of the active material during the insertion and desertion processes of Li^(+).YUAN Wei YE YinTong YANG Yang ZHANG XiaoQing PAN BaoYou PENG ZiMing WU MuLun QIU ZhiQiang WANG Chun YUAN YuHang YAN ZhiGuo TANG Yong 2020Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,11:1

6Radio Frequency Interference Mitigation and Statistics in the Spectral Observations of FAST显示文摘In radio astronomy,radio frequency interference(RFI)becomes more and more serious for radio observational facilities.The RFI always influences the search and study of the interesting astronomical objects.Mitigating the RFI becomes an essential procedure in any survey data processing.The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST)is an extremely sensitive radio telescope.It is necessary to find out an effective and precise RFI mitigation method for FAST data processing.In this work,we introduce a method to mitigate the RFI in FAST spectral observation and make a statistic for the RFI using~300 h FAST data.The details are as follows.First,according to the characteristics of FAST spectra,we propose to use the Asymmetrically Reweighted Penalized Least Squares algorithm for baseline fitting.Our test results show that it has a good performance.Second,we flag the RFI with four strategies,which are to flag extremely strong RFI,flag long-lasting RFI,flag polarized RFI,and flag beam-combined RFI,respectively.The test results show that all the RFI above a preset threshold could be flagged.Third,we make a statistic for the probabilities of polarized XX and YY RFI in FAST observations.The statistical results could tell us which frequencies are relatively quiescent.With such statistical data,we are able to avoid using such frequencies in our spectral observations.Finally,based on the~300 h FAST data,we obtained an RFI table,which is the most complete database currently for FAST.Chuan-Peng Zhang Jin-Long Xu Jie Wang Yingjie Jing Ziming Liu Ming Zhu Peng Jiang 2022Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2022,22,2:0

8Characteristics of Self-Healing Microcapsules for Cementitious Composites显示文摘Urea formaldehyde/epoxy resin microcapsules were prepared by an in situ polymerization method and the effect of emulsifier on the syntheses process of the microcapsules was discussed. The surface morphology of the microcapsules was observed by optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). Chemical structure was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR). Thermal stability was obtained using simultaneous thermal analysis(STA). The microcapsules were composed of urea-formaldehyde resin shell and epoxy resin core. Emulsifier played an important role in the polymerization process when the core material was packed by pre-polymer, so the effects of different emulsifiers(OP-10, SDS and SDBS) were discussed respectively. Results showed that the particle size of the microcapsules was uniform when SDBS as an emulsifier. Microcapsules showed good thermal stability below 240 ℃ and the initial decomposition temperature of the microcapsules was 265 ℃. The core materials released after microcapsules rupturing, which could be proven by the images of SEM. 9Zyxin promotes hepatocellular carcinoma progression via the activation of AKT/mTOR signaling pathway显示文摘Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is a common malignancy that is driven by multiple genes and pathways.The aim of this study was to investigate the role and specific mechanism of the actin-interacting protein zyxin(ZYX)in HCC.We found that the expression of ZYX was significantly higher in HCC tissues compared to that in normal liver tissues.In addition,overexpression of ZYX in hepatoma cell lines(PLC/PRF/5,HCCLM3)enhanced their proliferation,migration and invasion,whereas ZYX knockdown had the opposite effects(SK HEP-1,Huh-7).Furthermore,the change in the expression levels of ZYX also altered that of proteins related to cell cycle,migration and invasion.Similar results were obtained with xenograft models.The AKT/mTOR signaling pathway is one of the key mediators of cancer development.While ZYX overexpression upregulated the levels of phosphorylated AKT/mTOR proteins,its knockdown had the opposite effect.In addition,the AKT inhibitor MK2206 neutralized the pro-oncogenic effects of ZYX on the HCC cells,whereas the AKT activator SC79 restored the proliferation,migration and invasion of HCC cells with ZYX knockdown.Taken together,ZYX promotes the malignant progression of HCC by activating AKT/mTOR signaling pathway,and is a potential therapeutic target in HCC.TIANYING CAI JUNJIE BAI PENG TAN ZHIWEI HUANG CHEN LIU ZIMING WU YONGLANG CHENG TONGXI LI YIFAN CHEN JIAN RUAN LIN GAO YICHAO DU WENGUANG FU 2023Oncology Research2023,31,5:0

11The FAST all sky HI survey(FASHI):The first release of catalog显示文摘The FAST All Sky HI survey(FASHI)was designed to cover the entire sky observable by the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST),spanning approximately 22000 square degrees of declination between-14°and+66°,and in the frequency range of 1050-1450 MHz,with the expectation of eventually detecting more than 100000 HI sources.Between August 2020 and June 2023,FASHI had covered more than 7600 square degrees,which is approximately 35%of the total sky observable by FAST.It has a median detection sensitivity of around 0.76 m Jy beam-1and a spectral line velocity resolution of~6.4 km s-1at a frequency of~1.4 GHz.As of now,a total of 41741 extragalactic HI sources have been detected in the frequency range 1305.5-1419.5 MHz,corresponding to a redshift limit of z■0.09.By cross-matching FASHI sources with the Siena Galaxy Atlas(SGA)and the Sloan Digital Sky Survey(SDSS)catalogs,we found that 16972(40.7%)sources have spectroscopic redshifts and 10975(26.3%)sources have only photometric redshifts.Most of the remaining 13794(33.0%)HI sources are located in the direction of the Galactic plane,making their optical counterparts difficult to identify due to high extinction or high contamination of Galactic stellar sources.Based on current survey results,the FASHI survey is an unprecedented blind extragalactic H I survey.It has higher spectral and spatial resolution and broader coverage than the Arecibo Legacy Fast ALFA Survey(ALFALFA).When completed,FASHI will provide the largest extragalactic HI catalog and an objective view of HI content and large-scale structure in the local universe.Chuan-Peng Zhang Ming Zhu Peng Jiang Cheng Cheng Jing Wang Jie Wang Jin-Long Xu Xiao-Lan Liu Nai-Ping Yu Lei Qian Haiyang Yu Mei Ai Yingjie Jing Chen Xu Ziming Liu Xin Guan Chun Sun Qingliang Yang Menglin Huang Qiaoli Hao FAST Collaboration 2024Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2024,67,1:0
12Analysis of results related to the percent free prostate specific antigen among men without prostate diseases in Xi'an area显示文摘Objective: To measure the percent of free prostate specific antigen(fPSA) among men without prostate diseases in Xi’an area, and to study the relationship of percent fPSA with age and pathological grade, clinical stage of prostate cancer(PCa) with percent fPSA, and to analyze the difference between the data in China and the overseas data to determine appropriate reference range for Chinese male. Methods: A total of 713 participants were enrolled into the study, with PSA, fPSA in serum measured and the percent fPSA calculated. Out of 713 cases, 679 without prostate diseases were divided into 5 groups by age, and then the relationships of PSA, fPSA and percent fPSA with age were studied, respectively. The relationship of pathological grade and clinical stage with percent fPSA of the 34 participants with PCa was also studied. With the help of the related data of men without prostate disease, the appropriate reference range for Chinese male was established. Results: The increases in PSA or fPSA were correlated with age, while there was no significant correlation between age and percent fPSA. The percent fPSA was also correlated with pathological grade and clinical stage of PCa. The percent fPSA of men without prostate disease in Xi’an area was significantly lower than that in the related overseas data. The reference range of percent fPSA for Chinese male was≥15%. Conclusion: Percent fPSA might be more useful than PSA in the detection of prostate cancer. As the percent fPSA is decreased, the pathological grade is decreased, and the clinical stage is increased, the malignant degree is increased.
