1High temperature tensile properties of directionally solidified Ni-43Ti-4Al-2Nb-2Hf alloy显示文摘By liquid metal cooling(LMC) process,the Ni-43Ti-4Al-2Nb-2Hf(%,atomic fraction) alloy was directionally solidified(DS).The microstructure and tensile properties at room and elevated temperature were investigated.It was found that the DS process significantly improves the room temperature tensile strength,increasing by 70% compared with the as-cast alloy.After appropriate heat treatment(HT),the average tensile strength reaches above 1900 MPa,nearly twice of the as-cast one.At 800 and 900 ℃,the tensile strengths are about 308 and 169 MPa,respectively.Jiang, Dongwen Zheng, Lijing Zhou, Lei Pan, Liwen Tang, Xiaoxia Zhang, Hu 2012Rare Metals2012,31,4:9
2Microstructure characteristics of Ni-43Ti-4Al-2Nb-2Hf alloy prepared by conventional casting and directional solidification显示文摘To further investigate the microstructure characteristic and solidification mechanism,so as to provide knowledge for the microstructure control of a NiTi-Al based high-temperature structural material,the microstructure of Ni-43Ti-4Al-2Nb-2Hf(at.%)alloy ingots prepared by conventional casting(arc-melting)and directional solidification (DS)at various drawing velocities(2 mm·min -1 ,18 mm·min -1 ,30 mm·min -1 and 60 mm·min -1 ,respectively)was investigated by means of electron probe microanalyses.Experimental results reveal that the microstructures are composed of NiTi matrix phase,β-Nb phase and Ti 2 Ni phase for samples obtained by both conventional casting and DS.Conventional casting has an equiaxial structure,while DS has a slender and acicular cellular structure which grows along the[001]orientation preferentially.Small amounts of whiteβ-Nb phase and black Ti 2 Ni phase co-exist at the grain boundaries or intercellular regions.With an increase in drawing velocity,the NiTi matrix phase is inclined to grow along(100)and(200)crystallographic planes,and the cellular arm spacing reduce gradually, but the directionality of the solidified structure weakens significantly.The homogeneous dispersion ofβ-Nb phase and the decrease of Ti2Ni phase in DS samples are beneficial to improving the mechanical properties.Solidification mechanism analysis indicates that the dark grey NiTi matrix phase initially precipitates from the liquid phase,and then the divorced eutectic reaction takes place,which produces the light gray matrix phase andβ-Nb phase.Finally, the peritectic reaction happens,which generates the black Ti2Ni phase.The complete solidified path of the alloy is L→NiTi+L→NiTi+β-Nb+L→NiTi+β-Nb+Ti 2 Ni.Pan Liwen Zheng Lijing Zhou Lei Zhang Huarui Tang Xiaoxia Ma Limin Zhang Hu 2012China Foundry2012,9,2:1

4How Well Do CMIP6 and CMIP5 Models Simulate the Climatological Seasonal Variations in Ocean Salinity?显示文摘This paper includes a comprehensive assessment of 40 models from the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project phase 5(CMIP5)and 33 models from the CMIP phase 6(CMIP6)to determine the climatological and seasonal variation of ocean salinity from the surface to 2000 m.The general pattern of the ocean salinity climatology can be simulated by both the CMIP5 and CMIP6 models from the surface to 2000-m depth.However,this study shows an increased fresh bias in the surface and subsurface salinity in the CMIP6 multimodel mean,with a global average of−0.44 g kg^(−1) for the sea surface salinity(SSS)and−0.26 g kg^(−1) for the 0-1000-m averaged salinity(S1000)compared with the CMIP5 multimodel mean(−0.25 g kg^(−1) for the SSS and−0.07 g kg^(−1) for the S1000).In terms of the seasonal variation,both CMIP6 and CMIP5 models show positive(negative)anomalies in the first(second)half of the year in the global average SSS and S1000.The model-simulated variation in SSS is consistent with the observations,but not for S1000,suggesting a substantial uncertainty in simulating and understanding the seasonal variation in subsurface salinity.The CMIP5 and CMIP6 models overestimate the magnitude of the seasonal variation of the SSS in the tropics in the region 20°S-20°N but underestimate the magnitude of the seasonal change in S1000 in the Atlantic and Indian oceans.These assessments show new features of the model errors in simulating ocean salinity and support further studies of the global hydrological cycle.Yuanxin LIU Lijing CHENG Yuying PAN Zhetao TAN John ABRAHAM Bin ZHANG Jiang ZHU Junqiang SONG 2022Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2022,39,10:0

6Natural long-chain saturated fatty acids doped LNPs enabling spleen selective mRNA translation and potent cancer immunotherapy显示文摘Rationally tailored lipid nanoparticles(LNPs)with efficient and tunable delivery of mRNA in vivo are crucial for mRNA vaccines.Selective expression of antigenic protein in lymphoid tissues/organs could improve the immunostimulatory efficacy and safety of LNPs-based mRNA vaccines.Inspired by the metabolic behavior that long-chain saturated fatty acids tending to enter lymphoid tissue rather than the liver,we developed fatty acid-doped LNPs capable of mediating differential protein expressions in the liver and spleen when administered intravenously.When the molar ratio of saturated fatty acid located 60%–70%,the doped LNPs achieved the spleen selective mRNA translation.The mechanism could be attributed to the different cellular uptake behaviors of saturated fatty acids in hepatocytes.Immunization with a model antigen(ovalbumin)mRNA-loaded spleen selective LNPs,we observed enhanced antigen-specific T cell immune responses,and potent immunotherapeutic and immunoprophylactic efficacy in the mouse lymphoma model.Our natural long-chain saturated fatty acids metabolic characteristics-inspired design of LNPs for spleen-selective mRNA vaccines delivery will provide references for designing mRNA vaccines with high efficacy and safety for tumor immunotherapy.Fazhan Wang Meng Zhang Meiling Tian Jia Lou Longze Pan Xiaoke Gao Lijing Zhang Xiaohan Lou Linyu Zhu Yuqiao Sheng Ming Wang Rui Xue Wenjing Deng Shuai Shao Zhihai Qin 2024Nano Research2024,17,3:0
7Synergistic CO_(2)reduction and tetracycline degradation by CuInZnS-Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)in one photoredox cycle显示文摘Optimizing photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction with simultaneous pollutant degradation is highly desired.However,the photocatalytic efficiency is restricted by the unmatched redox ability,high carriers’recombination rate,and lack of reactive sites of the present photocatalysts.Herein,the CuInZnS-Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)hybrid with matched redox ability and suitable CO_(2)adsorption property was rationally synthesized.The nucleation and growth process of CuInZnS was interfered by the addition of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)with a negative charge,resulting in thinner nanosheets and richer reactive sites.Besides,the Schottky heterojunction built in the hybrid simultaneously improved the photoexcited charge transfer property,sunlight absorption range,and CO_(2)adsorption ability.Consequently,upon exposure to sunlight,CuInZnS-Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)exhibited an efficient photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction performance(10.2μmol·h^(−1)·g^(−1))with synergetic tetracycline degradation,obviously higher than that of pure CuInZnS.Based on the combination of theoretical calculation and experimental characterization,the photocatalytic mechanism was investigated comprehensively.This work offers a reference for the remission of worldwide energy shortage and environmental pollution problems.Lijing Wang Zhan Zhang Renquan Guan Dandan Wu Weilong Shi Limin Yu Pan Li Wei Wei Zhao Zhao Zaicheng Sun 2022Nano Research2022,15,9:0
8Antiviral strategies:What can we learn from natural reservoirs?显示文摘Viruses cause many severe diseases in both plants and animals,urging us to explore new antiviral strategies.In their natural reservoirs,viruses live and replicate while causing mild or no symptoms.Some animals,such as bats,are the predicted natural reservoir of multiple viruses,indicating that they possess broad-spectrum antiviral capabilities.Mechanisms of host defenses against viruses are generally studied independently in plants and animals.In this article,we speculate that some antiviral strategies of natural reservoirs are conserved between kingdoms.To verify this hypothesis,we created null mutants of 10-formyltetrahydrofolate synthetase(AtTHFS),an Arabidopsis thaliana homologue of methylenetetrahydrofolate dehydrogenase,cyclohydrolase and formyltetrahydrofolate synthetase 1(MTHFD1),which encodes a positive regulator of viral replication in bats.We found that disruption of AtTHFS enhanced plant resistance to three different types of plant viruses,including the tomato spotted wilt virus(TSWV),the cucumber mosaic virus(CMV)and the beet severe curly top virus(BSCTV).These results demonstrate a novel antiviral strategy for plant breeding.We further discuss the approaches used to identify and study natural reservoirs of plant viruses,especially those hosting many viruses,and highlight the possibility of discovering new antiviral strategies from them for plant molecular breeding and antiviral therapy.Wenbo Pan Weiwei Li Lijing Liu Huawei Zhang 2022Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,10:0
9Determination of Oleuropein in Cosmetics by Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography-Triple Quadrupole Tandem Mass Spectrometry显示文摘An ultrahigh performance liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS/MS)was established to quickly and accurately determine the content of oleuropein in cosmetics.The samples were extracted with methanol-aqueous solution,and the mobile phase with methanol-formic acid solution(0.1 mol/L)=40∶60 was separated by Agilent ZORBAX Eclipse Plus C18(2.1 mm×50 mm×1.8μm-Micron)column temperature 30℃,flow rate 0.3 mL/min.The MS end was detected by electrospray negative mode ionization(ESI-)and multiple reaction monitoring(MRM)mode.The results show a good linear relationship in the range of 0.002~5 mg/L,with a correlation coefficient R2 of 0.999,5.Method recovery range from 84.2%~107.6%and the relative standard deviation RSD is 5.8%.The detection time is 5 min,the detection limit is 0.000,6 mg/L,and the limit of quantification is 0.002 mg/L.This method has the advantages of convenient operation,low quantification limit,high precision and good repeatability,and is suitable for measuring the content of oleuropein in many kinds of cosmetics.Pan Lijing Chen Weiwei Yuan Minjia 2023China Detergent & Cosmetics2023,8,4:0
