1Discovery and preliminary study of the high tungsten and lithium contents in the Dazhuyuan bauxite deposit, Guizhou, China显示文摘Bauxite in China remains an urgently needed resource largely dependent on imports. Based on the study of the newly-discovered Dazhuyuan bauxite deposit in northeastern Guizhou, we have found new enrichment of tungsten and lithium in bauxite, with the highest WO 3 content up to 0.33% and the highest Li 2 O content up to 0.58%. The present paper reports the initial result, and the spatial distribution feature of W and Li in the ore body (with Li enriched mostly in the north part of the west limb of the Liyuan syncline, whereas W enriched mostly in the central part of the east limb). 2Sequence Thickness and its Response to Episodic Tectonic Evolution in Paleogene Qikou Sag, Bohaiwan Basin显示文摘The sequence stratigraphy framework of Paleogene of Qikou Sag has been built in this paper. The evolution law of episodic subsidence in Qikou Sag has been expounded, with the analysis of the characteristic of sequence thickness, as well as the study of consedimental tectonic activity, subsidence history, paleogeomorphology and the coupling relationship among them. The faults controlling action was the dominant mechanism during rifting stage I , as the depression was the dominant mechanism during rifting stage III, which embodies a process from intense disparity fault depression to integral subsidence. Meanwhile, under the control of regional faulting and later stage depression, subsidence rate centers and paleogeomorphic concave centers are always corresponding to the sequence thickness centers, and the changes of subsidence centers and paleogeomorphology concave centers are consistent with the migration of thickness centers, which presents the restriction, coupling and response among them and clarifies the law that tectonic activity controls the basin fill by means of controlling the subsidence rate and paleogeomorphology from contributing factor angle. 4Retrofit design of composite cooling structure of a turbine blade by fluid networks and conjugate heat transfer methods显示文摘This article discusses the development of the numerical methods of gas flow coupled with heat transfer,and introduces the fluid net-works method for rapid prediction of the performance of the composite cooling structures in turbine blade.The reliability of these methods is verified by comparing experimental data.For a HPT rotor blade,a rapid prediction on the internal cooling structures is first made by using the fluid network analysis,then an assessment of aerodynamic and heat transfer characteristics is conducted.Based on the network analysis results,three ways to improve the design of the cooling structures are tested,i.e.,adjusting the cooling gas flow mass ratios for different inner cooling cavities,reducing the flow resistances of the channel turning structures,and improving the local internal cooling structure geometries with high temperature distribution.Through the verification of full three-dimensional gas/solid/coolant conjugate heat transfer calculation,we conclude that the modified design can make the overall temperature distribution more even by significantly reducing the highest temperature of the blade surface,and reasonably matching the parameters of different coolant inlets.The results show that the proposed calculation methods can remarkably reduce the design cycle of complex turbine blade cooling structure.YAN PeiGang SHI Liang WANG XiangFeng HAN WanJin 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,12:5
5Detection of EBV and HHV6 in the Brain Tissue of Patients with Rasmussen's Encephalitis显示文摘Rasmussen's encephalitis (RE) is a rare pediatric neurological disorder, and the exact etiology is not clear. Viral infection may be involved in the pathogenesis of RE, but conflicting results have reported. In this study, we evaluated the expression of both Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and human herpes virus (HHV) 6 antigens in brain sections from 30 patients with RE and16 control individuals by immunohistochemistry. In the RE group, EBV and HHV6 antigens were detected in 56.7% (17/30) and 50% (15/30) of individuals, respectively. In contrast, no detectable EBV and HHV6 antigen expression was found in brain tissues of the control group. The co-expression of EBV and HHV6 was detected in 20.0% (6/30) of individuals. In particular, a 4-year-old boy had a typical clinical course, including a medical history of viral encephalitis,intractable epilepsy, and hemispheric atrophy. The co-expression of EBV and HHV6 was detected in neurons and astrocytes in the brain tissue, accompanied by a high frequency of CD8?T cells. 7Elevated expression of EBV and TLRs in the brain is associated with Rasmussen's encephalitis显示文摘Rasmussen's encephalitis(RE) is a rare pediatric neurological disorder, the etiology of which remains unclear. It has been speculated that the immunopathogenesis of RE involves damage to neurons, which eventually leads to the occurrence of RE. Viral infection may be a critical factor in triggering RE immunopathogenesis. In this study, we analyzed the expression of Epstein-Barr virus(EBV) antigens as well as of Toll-like receptor 3(TLR3), TLR9, and downstream adapter TIRdomain-containing adapter-inducing interferon-β(TRIF) in the brain tissues of 26 patients with RE and 16 control individuals using immunohistochemistry(IHC). In the RE group, EBV antigens were detected in 53% of individuals at various expression levels. In contrast, there was no detectable EBV antigen expression in control brain tissues. Moreover, we found marked increases in the expression of TLR3, TLR9, and TRIF in the brain tissues of RE patients compared with levels in the control group. Furthermore, among RE cases, EBV expression and high TLR3 expression were associated with more severe brain atrophy. 8Decreases in Both the Seroprevalence of Serum Antibodies and Seroprotection against Japanese Encephalitis Virus among Vaccinated Children显示文摘The incidence of Japanese encephalitis(JE)has significantly decreased in China due to JE vaccines.In this study,we investigated the post-JE vaccination seroprevalence and protection provided by vaccinated sera against Japanese encephalitis virus(JEV)to elucidate the persistence and waning of antibodies to JEV among JE-SA14-14-2-vaccinated children.A total of 300 serum samples were collected from vaccinated children aged 3-10 years in Zhaotong,Yunnan,China.The seroprevalence of anti-JEV antibodies was determined by enzyme-linked immune sorbent assay and plaque reduction neutralization test.The highest seropositivity of 82%was observed in vaccinated children during the first 0.5-1.5 years after booster vaccination.Then,the seropositivity began to decline and remained lower than the original level observed in the 0.5-1.5-year group.An association was found between the waning of seroprevalence and elapsed time of the post-booster vaccination.Similarly,the neutralizing antibody(nAb)titres gradually decreased over time,and the levels showed a positive correlation with the protective efficacy in mice.This finding suggests that nAbs play an important role in the antiviral process and that the nAb titre is an adequately credible parameter for evaluating the protective efficacy induced by the JE vaccine.Our results provide data that clarify the persistence and waning of antibodies to JEV,which may help elucidate the pathogenesis of JE.Ran Wang Lyu Xie Na Gao Dongying Fan Hui Chen Peigang Wang Hongning Zhou Jing An 2019Virologica Sinica2019,34,3:2
9Study on wellbore temperature of riserless mud recovery system by CFD approach and numerical calculation显示文摘The riserless mud recovery(RMR)system abandons the riser used in conventional offshore drilling,and the drill string above the seabed is directly exposed to seawater,resulting in convective heat transfer from the drilling fluid in the drill string to seawater.Therefore,the wellbore temperature distribution in the RMR system is quite different from the conventional offshore drilling.In this paper,based on the heat transfer characteristics of the RMR system,a mathematical model of the thermal field of the RMR system is established.The data used in this paper come from a vertical well in the South China Sea.Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)software is used to simulate the temperature distribution in drill string at different seawater depths and different formation depths in this paper,and the simulation results are compared with the calculation results of the mathematical model,so as to verify the feasibility of the mathematical model established in this paper.Combined with the calculation results of the mathematical model,this paper also explores the effect of different discharge capacity and different injection temperature of drilling fluid on the wellbore temperature change.Xin Li Jie Zhang Xu Tang Gezhen Mao Peigang Wang 2020Petroleum2020,6,2:2
10Microstructural evolution of h-BN matrix composite ceramics with La-Al-Si-O glass phase during hot-pressed sintering显示文摘BN/La-Al-Si-O composite ceramics were fabricated by hot-pressed sintering using hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN),lanthanum oxide(La_(2)O_(3)),aluminia(Al_(2)O_(3)),and amorphous silica(SiO_(2))as the raw materials.The effects of sintering temperature on microstructural evolution,bulk density,apparent porosity,and mechanical properties of the h-BN composite ceramics were investigated.The results indicated that La-Al-Si-O liquid phase was formed during sintering process,which provided an environment for the growth of h-BN grains.With increasing sintering temperature,the cristobalite phase precipitation and h-BN grain growth occurred at the same time,which had a significant influence on the densification and mechanical properties of h-BN composite ceramics.The best mechanical properties of BN/La-Al-Si-O composite ceramics were obtained under the sintering temperature of 1700℃.The elastic modulus,flexural strength,and fracture toughness were 80.5 GPa,266.4 MPa,and 3.25 MPa·m^(1/2),respectively.Baofu QIU Xiaoming DUAN Zhuo ZHANG Chen ZHAO Bo NIU Peigang HE Delong CAI Lei CHEN Zhihua YANG Yujin WANG Dechang JIA Yu ZHOU 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,3:2
11Electroporation-Mediated Immunization of a Candidate DNA Vaccine Expressing Dengue Virus Serotype 4 prM-E Antigen Confers Long-Term Protection in Mice显示文摘Dengue fever, caused by dengue viruses(DENVs), is a widespread mosquito-borne zoonotic disease; however, there is no available anti-dengue vaccine for worldwide use. In the current study, a DNA vaccine candidate(pV-D4 ME) expressing prM-E protein of DENV serotype 4(DENV-4) was constructed, and its immunogenicity and protection were evaluated in immunocompetent BALB/c mice. The pV-D4 ME candidate vaccine induced effective humoral and cellular immunity of mice against DENV-4 in vivo when administered both at 50 μg and 5 μg through electroporation. Two weeks after receiving three immunizations, both doses of pV-D4 ME DNA were shown to confer effective protection against lethal DENV-4 challenge. Notably, at 6 months after the three immunizations, 50 μg, but not 5 μg, of pV-D4 ME could provide stable protection(100% survival rate) against DENV-4 lethal challenge without any obvious clinical signs. 12Numerical Study of Improving Aerodynamic Performance of Low Solidity LPT Cascade through Increasing Trailing Edge Thickness显示文摘This paper presents a new idea to reduce the solidity of low-pressure turbine(LPT) blade cascades,while remain the structural integrity of LPT blade.Aerodynamic performance of a low solidity LPT cascade was improved by increasing blade trailing edge thickness(TET).The solidity of the LPT cascade blade can be reduced by about12.5% through increasing the TET of the blade without a significant drop in energy efficiency.For the low solidity LPT cascade,increasing the TET can decrease energy loss by 23.30% and increase the flow turning angle by1.86% for Reynolds number(Re) of 25,000 and freestream turbulence intensities(FSTT) of 2.35%.The flow control mechanism governing behavior around the trailing edge of an LPT cascade is also presented.The results show that appropriate TET is important for the optimal design of high-lift load LPT blade cascades.LI Chao YAN Peigang WANG Xiangfeng HAN Wanjin WANG Qingchao 2016Journal of Thermal Science2016,25,4:1
