| 1 | Bioaccumulation of Heavy Metal in Wild Growing Mushrooms from Liangshan Yi Nationality Autonomous Prefecture,China显示文摘The heavy metal bioaccumulation levels of 13 species of mushrooms were studied. 13 different species of wild mush-rooms growing in China were analyzed for Cu, Zn, Pb, Cd, and As. Contents of Cu, Zn, Cd and Pb in mushroom and Cu, Zn in soil were tested by atomic absorption spectrometer (AAS), and As in samples by atomic fluorescent light (AFL). Contents of Cd and Pb in soil were analyzed by graphite furnace AAS. The results showed that contents of Cu, Pb, Cd, and As in Termitomyces microcarpus were the highest in the tested mushroom samples, which were 135.00, 13.28, 65.30, and 1.60 mg·kg-1 (dry biomass) respectively, and the corresponding bioconcentration factor (BCF) for Cu and Cd was 57 and 1 674 separately, which was the highest data in 13 mushroom species. | 2 | Platelet-rich plasma accelerates skin wound healing by promoting re-epithelialization显示文摘Background:Autologous platelet-rich plasma(PRP)has been suggested to be effective for wound healing.However,evidence for its use in patients with acute and chronic wounds remains insufficient.The aims of this study were to comprehensively examine the effectiveness,synergy and possible mechanism of PRP-mediated improvement of acute skin wound repair.Methods:Full-thickness wounds were made on the back of C57/BL6 mice.PRP or saline solution as a control was administered to the wound area.Wound healing rate,local inflammation,angiogenesis,re-epithelialization and collagen deposition were measured at days 3,5,7 and 14 after skin injury.The biological character of epidermal stem cells(ESCs),which reflect the potential for re-epithelialization,was further evaluated in vitro and in vivo.Results:PRP strongly improved skin wound healing,which was associated with regulation of local inflammation,enhancement of angiogenesis and re-epithelialization.PRP treatment significantly reduced the production of inflammatory cytokines interleukin-17A and interleukin-1β.An increase in the local vessel intensity and enhancement of re-epithelialization were also observed in animals with PRP administration and were associated with enhanced secretion of growth factors such as vascular endothelial growth factor and insulin-like growth factor-1.Moreover,PRP treatment ameliorated the survival and activated the migration and proliferation of primary cultured ESCs,and these effects were accompanied by the differentiation of ESCs into adult cells following the changes of CD49f and keratin 10 and keratin 14.Conclusion:PRP improved skin wound healing by modulating inflammation and increasing angiogenesis and re-epithelialization.However,the underlying regulatory mechanism needs to be investigated in the future.Our data provide a preliminary theoretical foundation for the clinical administration of PRP in wound healing and skin regeneration. | Pengcheng Xu Yaguang Wu Lina Zhou Zengjun Yang Xiaorong Zhang Xiaohong Hu Jiacai Yang Mingying Wang Binjie Wang Gaoxing Luo Weifeng He Biao Cheng | 2020 | Burns & Trauma2020,8,1: | 8 |

| 4 | Research Data Management Implementation at Peking University Library:Foster and Promote Open Science and Open Data显示文摘Research Data Management(RDM)has become increasingly important for more and more academic institutions.Using the Peking University Open Research Data Repository(PKU-ORDR)project as an example,this paper will review a library-based university-wide open research data repository project and related RDM services implementation process including project kickoff,needs assessment,partnerships establishment,software investigation and selection,software customization,as well as data curation services and training.Through the review,some issues revealed during the stages of the implementation process are also discussed and addressed in the paper such as awareness of research data,demands from data providers and users,data policies and requirements from home institution,requirements from funding agencies and publishers,the collaboration between administrative units and libraries,and concerns from data providers and users.The significance of the study is that the paper shows an example of creating an Open Data repository and RDM services for other Chinese academic libraries planning to implement their RDM services for their home institutions.The authors of the paper have also observed since the PKU-ORDR and RDM services implemented in 2015,the Peking University Library(PKUL)has helped numerous researchers to support the entire research life cycle and enhanced Open Science(OS)practices on campus,as well as impacted the national OS movement in China through various national events and activities hosted by the PKUL. | Hua Nie Pengcheng Luo Ping Fu | 2021 | Data Intelligence2021,3,1: | 5 |
| 5 | Effect of Al2O3np on the Properties and Microstructure of B4Cp/Al Composites显示文摘Aluminum-matrix boron carbide (B4Cp/Al) is a kind of neutron absorbing material widely used in nuclear spent fuel storage. In order to improve the tensile property of B4Cp/Al composites, a new type of nano-Al2O3 particle (Al2O3np) reinforced B4Cp/Al + Al2O3np composites were prepared by powder metallurgy method. The Monte Carlo particle transport program (MCNP) was used to determine the influence of Al2O3np on the thermal neutron absorptivity of composites. The universal material testing machine and scanning electron microscope (SEM) were used to study the mechanical properties, microstructure and fracture morphology of B4Cp/Al composites. The results indicated that the neutron absorption properties of B4Cp/Al composites were not affected by the addition of nano-Al2O3 particles in the range of 1 wt%-15 wt%. The addition of Al2O3np can obviously reduce the grain size of B4Cp/Al matrix metals thus improve the tensile strength of the composites. The addition threshold of Al2O3np is about 2.5 wt%. | 6 | Optimal interface surface determination for multi-axis freeform surface machining with both roughing and finishing显示文摘In the current practice of multi-axis machining of freeform surfaces, the interface surface between the roughing and finishing process is simply an offset surface of the nominal surface. While there have already been attempts at minimizing the machining time by considering the kinematic capacities of the machine tool and/or the physical constraints such as the cutting force, they all target independently at either the finishing or the roughing process alone and are based on the simple premise of an offset interface surface. Conceivably, since the total machining time should count that of both roughing and finishing process and both of them crucially depend on the interface surface, it is natural to ask if, under the same kinematic capacities and the same physical constraints, there is a nontrivial interface surface whose corresponding total machining time will be the minimum among all the possible(infinite) choices of interface surfaces, and this is the motivation behind the work of this paper. Specifically, with respect to the specific type of iso-planar milling for both roughing and finishing, we present a practical algorithm for determining such an optimal interface surface for an arbitrary freeform surface. While the algorithm is proposed for iso-planar milling, it can be easily adapted to other types of milling strategy such as contour milling. | 7 | A reactive oxygen species burst causes haploid induction in maize显示文摘Haploid induction (HI) is an important tool in crop breeding. Phospholipase A1 (ZmPLA1)/NOT LIKE DAD (NLD)/MATRILINEAL (MTL) is a key gene controlling HI in maize;however, the underlying molecular mechanism remains unclear. In this study, to dissect why loss of ZmPLA1 function could mediate HI we performed a comprehensive multiple omics analysis of zmpla1 mutant anthers by integrating transcriptome, metabolome, quantitative proteome, and protein modification data. Functional classes of significantly enriched or differentially abundant molecular entities were found to be associated with the oxidative stress response, suggesting that a reactive oxygen species (ROS) burst plays a critical role in HI. In support of this, we further discovered that a simple chemical treatment of pollen with ROS reagents could lead to HI. Moreover, we identified ZmPOD65, which encodes a sperm-specific peroxidase, as a new gene controlling HI. | 8 | Mass production of Li Fe PO_4/C energy materials using Fe–P waste slag显示文摘To effectively solve the agglomeration problems in the solid state reaction process,pre-adding glucose is adopted to the synthesis of Li Fe PO4/C energy materials using Fe–P waste slag. The average particle & grain size of Li FeP O4/C decreases,and the impurities in Li Fe PO4/C composites reduce to a great extent. It makes great sense to the mass industrial production. The optimum synthesis conditions determined in this work are based on the orthogonal experiments. The samples synthesized in a scale of 500 g exhibit high purity,excellent electrochemical performance,high reaction activity,good reversibility,and low polarization level.The discharge capacities are 145,134,117,and 102 m Ah/g at the current densities of 0.1 C,0.2 C,0.5 C and1 C,respectively. | 9 | Microstructural evolution and hardness of as-cast Be-Al-Sc-Zr alloy processed by laser surface remelting显示文摘As-cast beryllium-aluminum(Be-Al)alloy exhibits a coarse microstructure with pore defects due to a large solidification interval,greatly limiting its mechanical properties.In this research,the relationship between laser surface remelting process and microstructure and hardness of as-cast Be-Al-Sc-Zr alloy was established.The experimental results demonstrated that a pore-free refined microstructure of remelted layer was obtained by controlling the parameter of effective laser energy input.The microstructure of as-cast Be-Al-Sc-Zr alloy consisted of equiaxed grains with Al phase forming a continuous frame wrapping Be phase,which was significantly refined in the remelted zone(from 25μm to 2μm).The Vickers hardness in the remelted zone(approximately 210 HV)was approximately 3 times that of as-cast Be-Al-Sc-Zr alloy.Analysis of the Vickers hardness and the Be phase size showed a good agreement with a Hall-Petch equation.In addition,transmission electron microscopy(TEM),auger electron spectroscopy(AES)and X-ray diffraction(XRD)analysis evidenced that Sc and Zr elements formed a single blocky phase Be13(Scx,Zr1-x),which was also greatly refined from 8μm to 1.5μm in the remelted zone.The results obtained in this study indicate that the laser surface remelting allowed refining the microstructure and further strengthening the Vickers hardness of Be-Al-Sc-Zr alloy. | Qingdong XU Yu LUO Xiangdong LIU Lei YANG Shixiong HE Xin WANG Wenyuan WANG Tao SHI Ruiwen LI Pengcheng ZHANG | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,8: | 2 |

| 11 | Remediation performance and mechanisms of Cu and Cd contaminated water and soil using Mn/Al-layered double oxide-loaded biochar显示文摘The combined pollution of heavy metals is ubiquitous worldwide.Mn/Al-layered double oxide-loaded crab shells biochar (LDO/BC) was prepared,so as to remediate the combined pollution of Cd and Cu in soil and water.The pristine and used LDO/BC were characterized and the results revealed that the layered double oxide was successfully loaded on crab shells biochar (BC) and metal element Ca in crab shells was beneficial to the formation of more regular layered and flake structure.The maximal adsorption capacity (Qm) of LDO/BC for aqueous Cu^(2+)and Cd^(2+)was 66.23 and 73.47 mg/g,respectively.LDO/BC and BC were used to remediate e-waste-contaminated soil for the first time and exhibited highly efficient performance.The extraction amount of Cu and Cd in the contaminated soil by diethylene triamine penta-acetic acid (DTPA) after treating with 5% LDO/BC was significantly reduced from 819.84 to 205.95 mg/kg (with passivation rate 74.8%) and 8.46 to 4.16 mg/kg(with passivation rate 50.8%),respectively,inferring that the bioavailability of heavy metals declined remarkably.The experimental result also suggested that after remediation by LDO/BC the exchangeable and weak acid soluble Cu and Cd in soil translated to reducible,residual and oxidizable fraction which are more stable state.Precipitation,complexation and ion exchange were proposed as the possible mechanisms for Cd and Cu removal.In general,these experiment results indicate that LDO/BC can be a potentially effective reagent for remediation of heavy metal contaminated water and soil. | Pengcheng Lin Hang Liu Hua Yin Minghan Zhu Haoyu Luo Zhi Dang | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,3: | 2 |

| 14 | Enhancing Navigability:An Algorithm for Constructing Tag Trees显示文摘Purpose: This study introduces an algorithm to construct tag trees that can be used as a userfriendly navigation tool for knowledge sharing and retrieval by solving two issues of previous studies, i.e. semantic drift and structural skew.Design/methodology/approach: Inspired by the generality based methods, this study builds tag trees from a co-occurrence tag network and uses the h-degree as a node generality metric. The proposed algorithm is characterized by the following four features:(1) the ancestors should be more representative than the descendants,(2) the semantic meaning along the ancestor-descendant paths needs to be coherent,(3) the children of one parent are collectively exhaustive and mutually exclusive in describing their parent, and(4) tags are roughly evenly distributed to their upper-level parents to avoid structural skew. Findings: The proposed algorithm has been compared with a well-established solution Heymann Tag Tree(HTT). The experimental results using a social tag dataset showed that the proposed algorithm with its default condition outperformed HTT in precision based on Open Directory Project(ODP) classification. It has been verified that h-degree can be applied as a better node generality metric compared with degree centrality.Research limitations: A thorough investigation into the evaluation methodology is needed, including user studies and a set of metrics for evaluating semantic coherence and navigation performance.Practical implications: The algorithm will benefit the use of digital resources by generating a flexible domain knowledge structure that is easy to navigate. It could be used to manage multiple resource collections even without social annotations since tags can be keywords created by authors or experts, as well as automatically extracted from text.Originality/value: Few previous studies paid attention to the issue of whether the tagging systems are easy to navigate for users. | 15 | 3D printed triboelectric nanogenerator as self-powered human–machine interactive sensor for breathing-based language expression显示文摘Human–machine interfaces(HMIs)are important windows for a human to communicate with the outside world.The current HMI devices such as cellphones,tablets,and computers can be used to help people with aphasia for language expression.However,these conventional HMI devices are not friendly to some particular groups who also lose their abilities of physical movements like in the intensive care unit(ICU)or vegetative patients to realize language expression.Herein,we report a breath-driven triboelectric nanogenerator(TENG)acting as a HMI sensor for language expression through human breathing without voice controls or manual operations.The TENG is integrated within a mask and fabricated via a three-dimensional(3D)printing method.When wearing the mask,the TENG can produce responsive electric signals corresponding to the airflow from breathing,which is capable of recognizing human breathing types with different intensities,lengths,and frequencies.On the basis of the breathing recognition ability,a breathing-based language expressing system is further developed through introducing the Morse code as a communication protocol.Compared with conventional language expressing devices,this system can extract subjective information of a person from breathing behaviors and output corresponding language text,which is not relying on voices or physical movements.This research for the first time introduces the self-powered breathing-based language expressing method to the field of HMI technology by using a 3D printed TENG,and could make HMI interactions become more friendly and fascinating. | Pengcheng Zhu Baosen Zhang Hongyi Wang Yiheng Wu Hengjun Cao Liubing He Chaoyue Li Xuepeng Luo Xing Li Yanchao Mao | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,8: | 1 |

| 20 | 1D/2D CoTe_(2)@MoS_(2)composites constructed by CoTe_(2)nanorods and MoS_(2)nanosheets for efficient electromagnetic wave absorption显示文摘Rational design of the components and microstructure is regarded as an efficacious strategy for the high-performance electromagnetic wave absorbing(EMWA)materials.Herein,the CoTe_(2)@MoS_(2)nanocomposites with CoTe_(2)nanorods and MoS_(2)nanosheets were synthesized via a hydrothermal method.The microstructure and composition of the samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The CoTe_(2)@MoS_(2)composite was composed of stacked CoTe_(2)as the core and intertwined MoS_(2)nanosheets as the shell.The electromagnetic parameters of the CoTe_(2)@MoS_(2)composites were investigated by vector network analyzer(VNA).The EMWA property of the composite showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing with the increasing content of MoS_(2).When the mass ratio of MoS_(2)and CoTe_(2)was 1:1,the CoTe_(2)@MoS_(2)composite exhibited the minimum reflection loss value of-68.10 dB at 4.71 GHz,and the effective absorption bandwidth value might reach 4.64 GHz(13.08-17.72 GHz)at a matching thickness of 1.60 mm with filler loading of 50 wt.%.The extraordinary EMWA property was attributed to the optimized impedance matching,multiple scattering and reflections,dipole polarization,conductive loss,and interfacial polarization.Therefore,the present approach to the design of microstructure and interface engineering offers a crucial way to construct high-performance EMW absorbers. | Naixin Zhai Juhua Luo Pengcheng Shu Jie Mei Xiaopeng Li Wenxing Yan | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,7: | 1 |
