1High precision topographic data on Lop Nor basin's Lake 'Great Ear' ? and the timing of its becoming a dry salt lake显示文摘High precision elevation measurements using DGPS were carried out along three representative tran- sects for the 'Great Ear' area, a dry salt lake within the Lop Nor basin. Results indicate that the Lop Nor basin is only 5.2 m deep and its lowest point occurs at the center of the 'Great Ear'. In addition, the basin is asymmetric - steeper in the southwest (0.19‰) and gentler in the northeast (0.09‰). Points along the same 'Great Ear' ring were found to have an identical elevation value, but different when from different ones (lower towards the center). The spacing of the 'Great Ear' rings was found to be closely related with the surface steepness. The closer the 'Great Ear' rings are spaced, the steeper the ground surface, and vice versa. These findings support the argument that the 'Great Ear' rings are the former shoreline trails left behind by Lop Nor water during the last few episodes of recession towards its total dry up. A comprehensive analysis of the high precision elevation data, historical accounts, aerial and satellite photographs and imagery, and official topographic maps of the study area suggests that the 'Great Ear' area in the Lop Nor basin was incorrectly mapped as being covered by a great body of water on the 1963 topographic maps. A re-interpretation of the 1958 aerial photographs and newer remote sensing imagery indicated that the 'Great Ear' ring structure was already in place in 1958 and it continued to appear on the subsequent remote sensing data without any major changes. 3Fire Intumescent,High-Temperature Resistant,Mechanically Flexible Graphene Oxide Network for Exceptional Fire Shielding and Ultra-Fast Fire Warning显示文摘Smart fire alarm sensor(FAS)materials with mechanically robust,excellent flame retardancy as well as ultra-sensitive temperature-responsive capability are highly attractive platforms for fire safety application.However,most reported FAS materials can hardly provide sensitive,continuous and reliable alarm signal output due to their undesirable temperature-responsive,flame-resistant and mechanical performances.To overcome these hurdles,herein,we utilize the multi-amino molecule,named HCPA,that can serve as triple-roles including cross-linker,fire retardant and reducing agent for decorating graphene oxide(GO)sheets and obtaining the GO/HCPA hybrid networks.Benefiting from the formation of multi-interactions in hybrid network,the optimized GO/HCPA network exhibits significant increment in mechanical strength,e.g.,tensile strength and toughness increase of~2.3and~5.7 times,respectively,compared to the control one.More importantly,based on P and N doping and promoting thermal reduction effect on GO network,the excellent flame retardancy(withstanding~1200℃flame attack),ultra-fast fire alarm response time(~0.6 s)and ultra-long alarming period(>600 s)are obtained,representing the best comprehensive performance of GO-based FAS counterparts.Furthermore,based on GO/HCPA network,the fireproof coating is constructed and applied in polymer foam and exhibited exceptional fire shielding performance.This work provides a new idea for designing and fabricating desirable FAS materials and fireproof coatings.Cheng-Fei Cao Bin Yu Zuan-Yu Chen Yong-Xiang Qu Yu-Tong Li Yong-Qian Shi Zhe-Wen Ma Feng-Na Sun Qing-Hua Pan Long-Cheng Tang Pingan Song Hao Wang 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,6:3

5Silicone/graphene oxide co-cross-linked aerogels with wide-temperature mechanical flexibility,super-hydrophobicity and flame resistance for exceptional thermal insulation and oil/water separation显示文摘Development of multifunctional and high-performance silicone aerogel is highly required for various promising applications.However,unstable cross-linking structure and poor thermal stability of silicone network as well as complicated processing restrict the practical use significantly.Herein,we report a facile and versatile ambient drying strategy to fabricate lightweight,wide-temperature flexible,super-hydrophobic and flame retardant silicone composite aerogels modified with low-content functionalized graphene oxide(FGO).After optimizing silane molecules,incorporation ofγ-aminopropyltriethoxysilane functionalization is found to promote the dispersion stability of GO during the hydrolysis-polymerization process and thus produce the formation of unique strip-like co-cross-linked network.Consequently,the aerogels containing∼2.0 wt%FGO not only possess good cyclic compressive stability under strain of 70%for 100 cycles and outstanding mechanical reliability in wide temperature range(from liquid nitrogen to 350℃),but also display excellent flame resistance and super-hydrophobicity.Further,the optimized silicone/FGO aerogels display exceptional thermal insulating performance superior to pure aerogel and hydrocarbon polymer foams,and they also show efficient oil absorption and separation capacity for var-ious solvents and oil from water.Clearly,this work provides a new route for the rational design and development of advanced silicone composite aerogels for multifunctional applications.Zhao-Hui Zhang Zuan-Yu Chen Yi-Hao Tang Yu-Tong Li Dequan Ma Guo-Dong Zhang Rabah Boukherroub Cheng-Fei Cao Li-Xiu Gong Pingan Song Kun Cao Long-Cheng Tang 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,19:2
6Sedative and hypnotic effect of freeze-dried paeoniflorin and Sini San freeze-dried powder in pentobarbital sodium-induced mice显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the sedative and hypnotic activity of paeoniflorin and freeze-dried Sini San powder on mice and provide a reliable method for determining the pharmacodynamic material basis of Sini San.METHODS: Male adult mice weighing 20-22 g were used in this study. Three experiments were carried out. Synergism with pentobarbital was used as an index for hypnotic effect. Loss of the righting reflex was used to determine the start of sleep.Sleep latency and sleeping time were recorded in each experiment.RESULTS: The coefficient of variation of the suprathreshold dose(55 mg/kg) was significantly lower than that of the threshold dose. The sleep latency of mice was significantly decreased, and the sleeping time of mice was significantly prolonged. 7Development of Specific SSR Molecular Marker of 'Huangzhou Radish' Based on Purity Identification显示文摘As an excellent local crop variety of Huanggang,'Huangzhou radish' has been widely promoted and its market influence is increasing day by day.Recently,the purity of 'Huangzhou radish' has declined deeply,so it is urgent to improve and strengthen the purity and viability of 'Huangzhou radish' including bad phenomena such as degeneration of varieties after self-pollination.At present,there was no SSR molecular marker can be used for genetic diversity identification of 'Huangzhou radish'.SSR molecular marker can provide a favorable tool to study 'Huangzhou radish'.In this study,'Xiakang','Hongbao'and 'Huangzhou radish' were used as experimental materials,100 SSR primers were screened,and 25 pairs of SSR primers were selected.Finally,two pairs of primers were selected for identification of the purity of 'Huangzhou radish' by non-denatured polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE).The results showed that R-102 and R-112 primer pairs could amplify the special bands for 'Huangzhou radish' from above three kinds of radishes.These two pairs of primers could be developed as SSR markers to identify the specificity and purity of 'Huangzhou radish'.Furthermore,this study provides convenient conditions for promoting the economic and social value of 'Huangzhou radish'.Pingan WANG Jinlan YAO Qiuyu ZENGCHEN Linling WANG Jingcai LI Yuanping FANG Shisheng LI 2019Agricultural Biotechnology2019,8,5:2

12A Layered Chitosan/Graphene Oxide Sponge as Reusable Adsorbent for Removal of Heavy Metal Ions显示文摘Along with the growing severity of environment problem and energy crisis, it is inevitable to develop novel materials, which are contributed to the removal of hazardous pollutants from contaminated water. Herein, we reported a fhcile method for the preparation of free-standing chitosan/graphene oxide(CS/GO) composite sponges with low density, where CS/GO mixtures were first synthesized by tlie homogeneous reaction of chitosan and graphene oxide in aqueous acetic acid solution;then CS/GO sponges were obtained by lyophilizing the suspension, which were prefrozen at -20 ℃ and in liquid nitrogen successively. The obtained layered sponge showed good water- driven shape memory effect and was a good adsorbent of Co^2+ and Ni^2+ witli a large adsorption capacity of 224.8 and 423.7 mg/g, respectively. Importantly, the successive adsorption-desorption studies employing CS/GO sponge indicated that the composite could be regenerated by HC1 solution and reused in more than five cycles with regeneration efficiency beyond 80%. 14Highly sensitive and dynamically stable strain sensors based on porous-designed Fe nanowires/multi-walled carbon nanotubes with stable bi-conducting networks显示文摘Flexible sensors for high strain sensitivity and dynamic stability are important for the development of human-interactive and health-monitoring devices.However,establishing a stable conductive network with low-conductivity material filling that can resist tensile strain failure and achieve high device performance still faces significant challenges.Herein,a highly stretchable and sensitive strain sensor with strong dynamic stability and low conductive materials filling was fabricated based on highly conductive multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs)and Fe nanowires(NWs)to construct a porous-designed bi-conducting network using a salt sacrificial template approach.The porous-designed Fe NW/MWCNT strain sensor(PFMS)with low material filling(3.6 wt.%Fe NWs and 10.6 wt.%MWCNTs)showed high sensitivity with a gauge factor(GF)of 134.98(strain range 0–22%)and 569.37(strain range 22%–60%),which is much higher compared with the pure MWCNT strain sensor with a GF of 7.46.This is attributed to the significant change in the contact area and contact resistance of the Fe NW/MWCNT bi-conducting network during tensile strain.In addition,the PFMS exhibited high repetitive stability over 2000 stretching-releasing cycles.When attached to the human body,the PFMS functions as a health-monitoring device,that can accurately distinguish human motions such as the bending of fingers,knees,and elbows.Finally,the proposed strategy pens a novel avenue for constructing porous conductive networks using polymer composites and is highly competitive for developing high-performance strain sensors.YANG PingAn LIU ZhongBang LUO JiuFei LI Rui LU Yi HUANG Xin ZHANG Qiang ZHOU ZhiHao 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,12:0
15Reconstruction of harmonic signals based on bispectrum显示文摘A method for accurate reconstruction of the harmonic signals from bispectrum is presented. Based on the analysis of the measured harmonic signal, a sinusoid signal with Ophase, 1-amplitude and half of the fundamental frequency combines with the measured signal to form a combined signal, and then the bispectrum analysis is carried out to reconstruct the phase and the amplitude of the measured signal accurately. Without the zero-phase assumption of the fundamental component, using the new method eliminates the phase shifting between the calculated Fourier phase and the true Fourier phase in the existing signal retrieval methods based on bispectrum. 16Feature extraction of ship-radiated noise using higher-order spectrum显示文摘The features of the ship noises are analyzed by using the higher-order spectrum (HOS) after studying their distribution. The results show that the different ship noise has different ranges of the main frequency. The main frequencies of the first class ships are less than 120 Hz, while the second class ships drop in 130 Hz -- 320 Hz. The different relationship between w1 and w2 corresponds to different bispectrum graph. There are the same results in the trispectrum. 17Nacre-bionic nanocomposite membrane for efficient in-plane dissipation heat harvest under high temperature显示文摘Waste heat management holds great promise to create a sustainable and energy-efficient society as well as contributes to the alleviation of global warming.Harvesting and converting this waste heat in order to improve the efficiency is a major challenge.Here we report biomimetic nacre-like hydroxyl-functionalized boron nitride(BN)-polyimide(PI)nanocomposite membranes as efficient 2D in-plane heat conductor to dissipate and convert waste heat at high temperature.The hierarchically layered nanostructured membrane with oriented BN nanosheets gives rise to a very large anisotropy in heat transport properties,with a high in-plane thermal conductivity(TC)of 51 Wm^(-1) K^(-1) at a temperature of~300 C,7314%higher than that of the pure polymer.The membrane also exhibits superior thermal stability and fire resistance,enabling its workability in a hot environment.In addition to cooling conventional exothermic electronics,the large TC enables the membrane as a thin and 2D anisotropic heat sink to generate a large temperature gradient in a thermoelectric module(△T=23 ℃)through effective heat diffusion on the cold side under 220 C heating.The waste heat under high temperature is therefore efficiently harvested and converted to power electronics,thus saving more thermal energy by largely decreasing consumption.Jiemin Wang Dan Liu Quanxiang Li Cheng Chen Zhiqiang Chen Minoo Naebe Pingan Song David Portehault Christopher J.Garvey Dmitri Golberg Weiwei Lei 2021Journal of Materiomics2021,7,2:0
18Oriented molybdenum disulfide-silica/hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber composites:Effects of nanosheets on mechanical and dielectric properties显示文摘A series of non-covalently functionalized molybdenum disulfide-silica(f-MoS_(2)-SiO_(2))nanocomposites was prepared by an in-situ assembled method and used to fabricate the oriented molybdenum disulfide-SiO_(2)/Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber(f-MoS2-SiO_(2)/HNBR)composites.The characterization results show the synergistic dispersion between the functionalized molybdenum disulfide(f-MoS2)nanosheets and SiO_(2)nanoparticles.The addition of f-MoS2 nanosheets can improve the dispersion of fillers in the rubber matrix and weaken the filler network.The non-covalently functionalization improves the interface interaction between f-MoS_(2)nanosheets and the rubber matrix.Furthermore,the tensile strength of f-MoS2-SiO_(2)/HNBR is 65.9%higher than that of SiO_(2)/HNBR by adding 1.0wt%of f-MoS_(2).At the same time,the dielectric constant of f-MoS2-SiO_(2)/HNBR is increased by 23.7%compared to SiO_(2)/HNBR due to the micro-capacitor structure of parallel f-MoS2 nanosheets in the rubber matrix.Our work provides new ideas for the development of high-performance elastomer materials.Yanan WANG Junying SUO Dongye WANG Li WEI Pingan HOU Jianfeng PAN Hong ZHU 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,1:0
19Fast thermal responsive separators toward long-life and safe lithium metal batteries显示文摘Lithium metal batteries(LMBs)have been extensively investigated during the past decades because of their ultrahigh energy densities.With the increasing demand for energy density,however,the safety issue of LMBs has become a significant challenge.In particular,localized areas of increased temperature(namely,hotspots)may be induced and even exacerbated within LMBs by uneven current distribution,internal short circuits,or inadequate heat dissipation,which significantly sacrifices battery safety and cycle life.Here,we report the rational design and fabrication of a fast thermal responsive separator capable of inhibiting the growth of lithium dendrites and mitigating thermal propagation,thereby reducing the risk of thermal runaway.The as-achieved separator comprises both an electrospun membrane using a phase change material with superior thermal-storage ability and a thermally conductive modification layer of hexagonal boron nitride nanosheets with a fast heat-transfer feature.It is demonstrated that such a unique integration of heat conduction and heat storage enables the functional separator with attractive abilities to mitigate hotspots and inhibit the growth of lithium dendrites upon the cycling of LMBs.Moreover,pouch cells with the thermal-responsive separator,as well as numerical simulations,verify much enhanced safety and cycle life of LMBs.This work may offer a new conceptual design of intelligent separators that acts as a functional unit encapsulated within a single cell to boost in-situ thermal management,which will help to develop high-safety and energy-dense LMBs.Pingan Li Zhifang Liu Yitong Peng Shanshan Yang Tao Meng Yunhuan Hu Yingjun Jiang Hao Sun Qi Li Xianluo Hu 2024Nano Research2024,17,4:0
20Neddylation-dependent protein degradation is a nexus between synaptic insulin resistance,neuroinflammation and Alzheimer’s disease显示文摘Background:The metabolic syndrome is a consequence of modern lifestyle that causes synaptic insulin resistance and cognitive deficits and that in interaction with a high amyloid load is an important risk factor for Alzheimer’s dis-ease.It has been proposed that neuroinflammation might be an intervening variable,but the underlying mechanisms are currently unknown.Methods:We utilized primary neurons to induce synaptic insulin resistance as well as a mouse model of high-risk aging that includes a high amyloid load,neuroinflammation,and diet-induced obesity to test hypotheses on underly-ing mechanisms.Results:We found that neddylation and subsequent activation of cullin-RING ligase complexes induced synaptic insulin resistance through ubiquitylation and degradation of the insulin-receptor substrate IRS1 that organizes synap-tic insulin signaling.Accordingly,inhibition of neddylation preserved synaptic insulin signaling and rescued memory deficits in mice with a high amyloid load,which were fed with a’western diet’.Conclusions:Collectively,the data suggest that neddylation and degradation of the insulin-receptor substrate is a nodal point that links high amyloid load,neuroinflammation,and synaptic insulin resistance to cognitive decline and impaired synaptic plasticity in high-risk aging.Alessandro Dario Confettura Eleonora Cuboni Mohamed Rafeet Ammar Shaobo Jia Guilherme M.Gomes PingAn Yuanxiang Rajeev Raman Tingting Li Katarzyna M.Grochowska Robert Ahrends Anna Karpova Alexander Dityatev Michael R.Kreutz 2022Translational Neurodegeneration2022,11,1:0
