1Three-dimensional Cure Simulation of Stiffened Thermosetting Composite Panels显示文摘Stiffened thermosetting composite panels were fabricated with co-curing processing.In the co-curing processing,the temperature distribution in the composite panels was nonuniform.An investigation into the threedimensional cure simulation of T-shape stiffened thermosetting composite panels was presented.Flexible tools and locating tools were considered in the cure simulation.Temperature distribution in the composites was predicted as a function of the autoclave temperature history.A nonlinear transient heat transfer finite element model was developed to simulate the curing process of stiffened thermosetting composite panels.And a simulation example was presented to demonstrate the use of the present finite element procedure for analyzing composite curing process.The glass/polyester structure was investigated to provide insight into the nonuniform cure process and the effect of flexible tools and locating tools on temperature distribution.Temperature gradient in the intersection between the skin and the flange was shown to be strongly dependent on the structure of the flexible tools and the thickness of the skin.Guangquan Yue,Boming Zhang ,Fuhong Dai and Shanyi Du Center for Composite Materials,Harbin Institute of Technology,Harbin 150080,China 2010Journal of Materials Science & Technology2010,26,5:13
2Fabrication and Testing of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Truss Core Sandwich Panels显示文摘Truss core sandwich panels reinforced by carbon fibers were assembled with bonded laminate facesheets and carbon fiber reinforced truss cores.The top and bottom facesheets were interconnected with truss cores.Both ends of the truss cores were embedded into four layers of top and bottom facesheets.The mechanical properties of truss core sandwich panels were then investigated under out-of-plane and in-plane compression loadings to reveal the failure mechanisms of sandwich panels.Experimental results indicated that the mechanical behavior of sandwich structure under in-plane loading is dominated by the buckling and debonding of facesheets.Bing Wang Linzhi Wu Li Ma Qiang Wang Shanyi Du 2009Journal of Materials Science & Technology2009,25,4:10
3DYNAMIC FRACTURE MECHANICS ANALYSIS FOR COMPOSITE MATERIAL WITH MATERIAL NON-HOMOGENEITY IN THICKNESS DIRECTION显示文摘The problem considered here is the response of a non-homogeneous composite materialcontaining some cracks subjected to dynamic loading.It is assumed that the composite material is or-thotropic and all the material properties depend only on the coordinate y(along the thicknessdirection).In the analysis,the elastic region is divided into a number of plies of infinite length.Thematerial properties are taken to be constants for each ply.By utilizing the Laplace transform andFourier transform technique,the general solutions for plies are derived.The singular integral equa-tions of the entire elastic region are obtained and solved by the virtual displacement principle.Attentionis focused on the time-dependent full field solutions of stress intensity factor(SIF)and strain energyrelease rate.As a numerical illustration,the dynamic stress intensity factor of a substrate\functionallygraded film structure with two cracks under suddenly applied forces on cracks face are presented forvarious material non-homogeneity parameters.Wang Baolin Han Jiecai Du Shanyi 1998Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica1998,11,1:7
4Improvement of the Compressive Strength of Carbon Fiber/Epoxy Composites via Microwave Curing显示文摘Microwave processing was used to cure the carbon fiber/epoxy composites and designed for improving the compressive strength of the materials. By controlling the power of microwave heating, vacuum bagged laminates were fabricated under one atmosphere pressure without arcing. The physical and mechanical properties of composites produced through vacuum bagging using microwave and thermal curing were compared and the multistep(2-step or 3-step) microwave curing process for improved compressive properties was established. The results indicated that microwave cured samples had somewhat differentiated molecular structure and showed slightly higher glass transition temperature. The 2-step process was found to be more conducive to the enhancement of the compressive strength than the 3-step process. A 39% cure cycle time reduction and a 22% compressive strength increment were achieved for the composites manufactured with microwave radiation. 5Effects of Contact Resistance on Heat Transfer Behaviors of Fibrous Insulation显示文摘本文建立了辐射与传导相耦合的数值传热模型来预报热防护系统用纤维隔热材料的传热行为。利用实验测得的瞬态温度数据(热面最高达1000K),采用蒙特卡洛方法确定了修正后的辐射性质。最后将瞬态热响应的计算结果与实验结果进行了比较。结果表明:接触热阻的存在会显著影响试件的温度分布,对传热模型中忽略接触热阻的情况其平均绝对偏差为3.25%,而对无接触热阻存在的情况平均绝对偏差只有1.82%。Zhao Shuyuan Zhang Boming Du Shanyi 2009Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2009,22,5:5
6Biological effect of rare-earth elements on anti-oxidation enzymes in wheat under acid rain stress显示文摘Based on pot-culture experiments, the biological effect of rare-earth elements (REE) on antioxidation enzymes of wheat under acid rain stress was studied. The results show that both acid rain and REE can affect the activity of anti-oxidation enzymes of wheat to different extents. Under the acid rain stress, anti-oxidation enzymes (CAT, SOD) of wheat showed single peak curve with the decrease of pH values. After REE were applled, variation of activities of anti-oxidation enzymes was relatively stable and the peak value of variation curve would move in the direction of increased acidity. 8A New Method to Track Resin Flow Fronts in Mold Filling Simulation of RTM Process显示文摘A new method to track resin flow fronts, referred to as the topological interpolated method (TIM), which is based on filling states and topological relations of adjacent nodes was proposed. An experiment on the mould filling process was conducted. It was compared with exact solutions and the experimental results, and good agreements were observed. 9ANTI-PLANE ANALYSIS FOR ELLIPTICAL INCLUSION IN MAGNETOELECTROELASTIC MATERIALS显示文摘This paper considers the multi-field coupling in magneroelectroelastic composite materials consisting of the inclusion and the matrix are magnetoelectroelastic materials. The mechanical,electric and magnetic fields around an elliptical cylinder inclusion are formulated by complex potentials. Inside the inclusion,the strain,electric and magnetic fields are found to be uniform and vary with the shape of the ellipse. When the inclusion is reduced to a crack,along the interface,the strain,electric field strength and magnetic field strength equal the corresponding remote ones,which can be used as the boundary condition. 11New method of designing anti-slide piles——the strength reduction FEM显示文摘At present,the thrust of an anti-slide pile can be worked out with some calculation methods. However,the resistance in front of the pile,the distributions of resistance and thrust,and appropriate pile length cannot be easily obtained. In this paper,the authors applied the strength-reduction finite element method (FEM) to several design cases of anti-slide piles. Using this method,it is possible to take the pile-soil interactions into consideration,obtain reasonable resistance in front of pile and the distributions of thrust and resistance,and reasonable lengths of anti-slide piles. In particular,the thrust and resistance imposed on embedded anti-slide piles can be calculated and composite anti-slide pile structures such as anchored piles and braced piles can be optimized. 13Taxonomic review of the ant genus Dilobocondyla from China(Hymenoptera:Formicidae), with a revised key to the known species显示文摘Three species of the myrmicine ant genus Dilobocondyla are recognized in China:D. gaoyureni, D. fouqueti and D. rufida sp. nov. The new species is described based on the worker and the gyne castes, and can be distinguished from the others by the relatively shorter petiole and the obvious bicolored body. 16INVESTIGATION OF THE SCATTERING OF ANTI-PLANE SHEAR WAVES BY TWO GRIFFITH CRACKS USING THE NON-LOCAL THEORY显示文摘In this paper,the scattering of harmonic antiplane shear waves by two finite cracks isstudied using the non-local theory.The Fourier transform is applied and a mixed boundary value prob-lem is formulated.Then a set of triple integral equations is solved using a new method,namelySchmidt’s method,This method is more exact and more reasonable than Eringen’s for solving thiskind of problem.The result of the stress near the crack tip was obtained.Contrary to the classical elas-ticity solution,it is found that no stress singularity is present at the crack tip,which can explain theproblem of macroscopic and microscopic mechanics.Qu Guimin Zhou Zhengong Du Shanyi 1999Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica1999,12,3:2
