| 1 | High-Resolution Records of the Holocene Paleoenvironmental Variation Reflected by Carbonate and Its Isotopic Compositions in Bosten Lake and Response to Glacial Activities显示文摘The Early Holocene paleoclimate in Bosten Lake on the northern margin of the Tarim Basin, southern Xinjiang, is reconstructed through an analysis of a 953 cm long core (BSTC2000) taken from Bosten Lake. Multiple proxies of this core, including the mineral components of carbonate, carbonate content, stable isotopic compositions of carbonate, Ca/Sr, TOC and C/N and C/S of organic matter, are used to reconstruct the climatic change since 8500 a B.P. The chronology model is made by nine AMS 14C ages of leaves, seeds and organic matter contained in two parallel cores. The climate was cold and wet during 8500 to 8100 a B.P. Temperature increased from 8100 to 6400 a B.P., the climate was warm and humid, and the lake expanded. The lake level was highest during this stage. Then from 6400 to 5100 a B.P., the climate became cold and the lake level decreased slightly. During the late mid-Holocene, the climate was hot and dry from 5100 to 3100 a B.P., but there was a short cold period during 4400 to 3800 a B.P. At this temporal interval, a mass of ice and snow melting water supplied the lake at the early time and made the lake level rise. The second highest lake level stage occurred during 5200 to 3800 a B.P. The climate was cool and wet during 3100 to 2200 a B.P., when the lake expanded with decreasing evaporation. The lake had the last short-term high level during 3100 to 2800 a B.P. After this short high lake level period, the lake shrank because of the long-term lower temperature and reduced water supply. From 2200 to 1200 a B.P., the climate was hot and dry, and the lake shrank greatly. Although the temperature decreased somewhat from 1200 a B.P. to the present, the climate was warm and dry. | 2 | Lotus seed skin proanthocyanidin extract exhibits potent antioxidant property via activation of the Nrf2-ARE pathway显示文摘Lotus seed is well known as traditional food and medicine,but its skin is usually discarded.Recent studies have shown that lotus seed skin contains a high concentration of proanthocyanidins that have multi-functions,such as antioxidation,anti-inflammation,and anti-cancer effects.In the present study,we aimed to isolate and purify the proanthocyanidins from lotus seed skin by acetone extraction and rotary evaporation,identify their chemical structures by HPLC-MS-MS and NMR,and further investigate the antioxidant properties of the extract purified by macroporous resin (PMR) from lotus seed skin both in vitro and in vivo.The results showed that PMR mainly contained oligomeric proanthocyanidins,especially dimeric procyanidin B1 (PB1),procyanidin B2 and procyanidin B4.Although it had limited ability to directly scavenge radicals in vitro,PMR could significantly enhance the expressions of antioxidant proteins via activation of nuclear factory-related factor 2 (Nrf2)-antioxidant response element (ARE) pathway in HepG2 cells.Molecular data revealed that PB1,a major component in PMR,stabilized Nrf2 by inhibiting the ubiquitination of Nrf2,which led to subsequent activation of the Nrf2-ARE pathway,including the enhancements of Nrf2 nuclear translocation,Nrf2-ARE binding and ARE transcriptional activity.Moreover,the in vivo results in high fat diet-induced mice further verified the powerful antioxidant property of PMR.These results revealed that lotus seed skin is a promising resource for functional food development. | Tao Li Qili Li Weiguo Wu Yong Li De-xing Hou Hua Xu Baodong Zheng Shaoxiao Zeng Yang Shan Xiangyang Lu Fangming Deng Si Qin | 2019 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,1: | 8 |

| 7 | Hybrid metasurface using graphene/graphitic carbon nitride heterojunctions for ultrasensitive terahertz biosensors with tunable energy band structure显示文摘Integrating novel materials is critical for the ultrasensitive,multi-dimensional detection of biomolecules in the terahertz(THz)range.Few studies on THz biosensors have used semiconductive active layers with tunable energy band structures.In this study,we demonstrate three THz biosensors for detecting casein molecules based on the hybridization of the metasurface with graphitic carbon nitride,graphene,and heterojunction.We achieved lowconcentration detection of casein molecules with a 3.54 ng/m L limit and multi-dimensional sensing by observing three degrees of variations(frequency shift,transmission difference,and phase difference).The favorable effect of casein on the conductivity of the semiconductive active layer can be used to explain the internal sensing mechanism.The incorporation of protein molecules changes the carrier concentration on the surface of the semiconductor active layer via the electrostatic doping effect as the concentration of positively charged casein grows,which alters the energy band structure and the conductivity of the active layer.The measured results indicate that any casein concentration can be distinguished directly by observing variations in resonance frequency,transmission value,and phase difference.With the heterojunction,the biosensor showed the highest response to the protein among the three biosensors.The Silvaco Atlas package was used to simulate the three samples'energy band structure and carrier transport to demonstrate the benefits of the heterojunction for the sensor.The simulation results validated our proposed theoretical mechanism model.Our proposed biosensors could provide a novel approach for THz metasurface-based ultrasensitive biosensing technologies. | HAIYUN YAO ZHAOQING SUN LANJU LIANG XIN YAN YARUWANG MAOSHENG YANG XIAOFEI HU ZIQUN WANG ZHENHUA LI MENG WANG CHUANXIN HUANG QILI YANG ZHONGJUN TIAN JIANQUAN YAO | 2023 | Photonics Research2023,11,5: | 0 |

| 10 | A rapid and sensitive liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometric method for the determination of hederasaponin B in rat plasma: Application to a pharmacokinetic study显示文摘A rapid, simple and sensitive ultra-high performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometric(UPLC–MS/MS) method was developed and validated for the determination of hederasaponin B, an active triterpenoid saponin widely existed in Hedera helix L. Plasma samples were processed by protein precipitation with acetonitrile and separated on a Thermo Hypersil GOLD C18(2.1 mm × 50 mm,1.9 μm) at flow rate of 0.3 ml/min, with a gradient elution consisting of acetonitrile and water containing 0.1%(v/v) formic acid at 30 ℃ and detected by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry in the positive multiple reaction monitoring(MRM) mode. The linearity was found to be within the concentration range of 0.5–5000 ng/ml with a lower limit of quantification of 0.5 ng/ml. The absolute oral bioavailability of hederasaponin B was 0.24 ± 0.49%. This indicated that the concentration-time course of the hederasaponin B existed a double-peak phenomenon. | 11 | ST-SIGMA:Spatio-temporal semantics and interaction graph aggregation for multi-agent perception and trajectory forecasting显示文摘Scene perception and trajectory forecasting are two fundamental challenges that are crucial to a safe and reliable autonomous driving(AD)system.However,most proposed methods aim at addressing one of the two challenges mentioned above with a single model.To tackle this dilemma,this paper proposes spatio-temporal semantics and interaction graph aggregation for multi-agent perception and trajectory forecasting(STSIGMA),an efficient end-to-end method to jointly and accurately perceive the AD environment and forecast the trajectories of the surrounding traffic agents within a unified framework.ST-SIGMA adopts a trident encoder-decoder architecture to learn scene semantics and agent interaction information on bird’s-eye view(BEV)maps simultaneously.Specifically,an iterative aggregation network is first employed as the scene semantic encoder(SSE)to learn diverse scene information.To preserve dynamic interactions of traffic agents,ST-SIGMA further exploits a spatio-temporal graph network as the graph interaction encoder.Meanwhile,a simple yet efficient feature fusion method to fuse semantic and interaction features into a unified feature space as the input to a novel hierarchical aggregation decoder for downstream prediction tasks is designed.Extensive experiments on the nuScenes data set have demonstrated that the proposed ST-SIGMA achieves significant improvements compared to the state-of-theart(SOTA)methods in terms of scene perception and trajectory forecasting,respectively.Therefore,the proposed approach outperforms SOTA in terms of model generalisation and robustness and is therefore more feasible for deployment in realworld AD scenarios. | Yang Fang Bei Luo Ting Zhao Dong He Bingbing Jiang Qilie Liu | 2022 | CAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology2022,7,4: | 0 |

| 13 | Comparison on the Perinatal Complications for Newborns between by IVF-ET and Natural Delivery显示文摘This study was conducted to compare the perinatal complications for newborns by In vitro fertilization with embryo transfer(IVF-ET)and natural delivery.Respectively 50 cases of the IVF-ET and 50 cases of the natural delivery were selected from Hospital of Chengde Medical University as research subjects.All the recruited cases were selected with the newborns from April,2021 to April,2022.Defining the IVF-ET as the test group,while the natural delivery as the control group to compare and analyze the perinatal situations and the incidences of complications in both the groups.This study showed that the incidences of pregnancy-induced hypertension,diabetes,multiple pregnancy,premature delivery,and cesarean section in the test group were significantly(p<0.05)higher,than the control group.In addition,the incidences of neonatal respiratory distress syndrome(NRDS)and hyperbilirubinemia of newborns in the test group were statistical(p<0.05)higher,compared to the control group.In contrast,there are no statistically significant differences in terms of hypoglycemia,pneumonia,and neonatal asphyxia incidences between the two groups(p>0.05).Interestingly,there is a significant difference(p<0.05)in the incidences of neonatal cardiac anomalies in both groups,however,no significant differences(p>0.05)were observed in terms of birth defects including hypospadias,the cleft lip and palate,polydactyly,anal atresia,and esophageal atresia in both the groups.In summary,the test tube babies of IVF-ET are more susceptible to complications in their perinatal stage compared with natural delivery newborns,therefore,during the clinical development physicians should strengthen clinical attention and take proactive healthcare management,in order to maintain the health and life of the newborns. | Chunyan Guo Jingcai Wang Lixin Yang Qili Zhou | 2022 | Journal of Clinical and Nursing Research2022,6,4: | 0 |
