| 1 | Green synthesis of fluorescent carbon quantum dots and carbon spheres from pericarp显示文摘An economical idea was developed to synthesize fluorescent carbon quantum dots(CQDs) directly from the refluxing extraction of orange pericarp via a hydrothermal technique. Hydrothermal temperatures and times were adjusted to control the particle sizes and the quantum yields of the obtained CQDs. The as-prepared carbon quantum dots showed narrow particle size distribution, good water solubility, and acceptable fluorescence lifetimes. Due to their high stability, these obtained carbon quantum dots have great application potential in nano-biotechnology. | 2 | Synthesis of polyhedral iron oxide nanocrystals bound by high-index facets显示文摘High surface energy of high-index facets endows nanocrystals with high activities and thus promotes potential applications such as highly efficient catalysts,special optical,electrical and magnetic devices.But the high surface energy of the high-index facets usually drives them to grow faster than the other facets and finally disappear during the crystal growth,which leads the synthesis of nanocrystals with high-indexed facets exposed to be a great challenge.Herein,we introduced two routes to control the synthesis of-Fe2O3polyhedrons with different sets of high-index facets,one using different metal ions(Ni2+,Cu2+or Zn2+)as structure-directing agents and the other applying polymer surfactant sodium carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC)as additive.The growth process of high-index-Fe2O3polyhedrons was also discussed and possible growth mechanism was proposed. | GAO Feng LIU RongMei YIN JingZhou LU QingYi | 2014 | Science China Chemistry2014,57,1: | 2 |
| 3 | Green synthesis of MnO_x nanostructures and studies of their supercapacitor performance显示文摘Manganese oxides with different crystalline phases and morphologies were prepared by calcining Mn CO3 precursors. The Mn CO3 precursors with different morphologies were obtained through a green route under hydrothermal conditions with orange pericarp extracting solution as the reducing agent. By calcining the precursor under different temperatures and atmospheres, Mn Ox with different stoichiometric ratios(i.e., Mn O, Mn O2, Mn2O3, and Mn3O4) can be obtained. Electrochemical studies reveal that among these manganese oxides, Mn O or Mn O2 are more suitable as supercapacitor working electrodes than Mn2O3 or Mn3O4. | 4 | High-throughput RNA sequencing reveals the anti-inflammatory mechanism of baicalin on Propionibacterium acnes-induced acne in rabbits显示文摘Objective:Propionibacterium acnes(P.acnes)plays an important role in the development of acne,an inflammatory skin disease with a high-incidence.In this study,we used high-throughput RNA sequencing(RNA-seq)to reveal the anti-inflammatory mechanism of baicalin on P.acnes-induced acne in rabbits.Methods:The Kligman method was used to induce acne in the ears of New Zealand rabbits.The effect of baicalin on the acne model was evaluated by the number of acne lesions and hematoxylin and eosin(H&E)staining of acne tissues.Enzyme-linked immunoabsorbent assay was used to measure the protein expression levels of tumor necrosis factor a(TNFA),interleukin-1 b(IL1B),IL6,and IL8 in the serum of rabbits.RNA-seq was performed to investigate the mechanism of anti-inflammatory activities of baicalin on acne.Immunohistochemical analysis and Western blot were used to validate the expression levels of related proteins in acne tissues.Results:Baicalin treatment significantly reduced the number of acne lesions and lesions of the ear as well as levels of serum inflammatory cytokines.RNA-seq data showed that baicalin treatment globally suppressed inflammation,especially the TNF signaling pathway and Staphylococcus aureus infection pathway,in the rabbit acne model.Conclusion: Baicalin effectively ameliorates P. acnes-induced acne in rabbits by suppressingthe inflammatory response in rabbits. | Xingzhe Yang Guangrui Huang Leiming You Honghao Sheng Yuxiu Sun Yuyin Feng Qingyi Lu Anlong Xu | 2019 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2019,6,3: | 2 |

| 17 | Highly oriented MAPbI3 crystals for efficient hole-conductor-free printable mesoscopic perovskite solar cells显示文摘Highly crystalline perovskite films with large grains and few grain boundaries are conducive for efficient and stable perovskite solar cells.Current methods for preparing perovskite films are mostly based on a fast crystallization process,with rapid nucleation and insufficient growth.In this study,MAPbI3 perovskite with inhibited nucleation and promoted growth in the TiO_(2)/ZrO_(2)/carbon triple mesoscopic scaffold was crystallized by modulating the precursor and the crystallization process.N-methylformamide showed high solubility for both methylammonium iodide and Pbl2 and hampered the formation of large colloids in the MAPbI3 precursor solution.Furthermore,methylammonium chloride was added to reduce large colloids,which are a possible source of nucleation sites.During the crystallization of MAPbI3,the solvent was removed at a slow controlled speed,to avoid rapid nucleation and provide sufficient time for crystal growth.As a result,highly oriented MAPbI3 crystals with suppressed non-radiative recombination and promoted charge transport were obtained in the triple mesoscopic layer with disordered pores.The corresponding hole-conductor-free,printable mesoscopic perovskite solar cells exhibited a highest power conversion efficiency of 18.82%.The device also exhibited promising long-term operational sta-bility of 1000 h under continuous illumination at maximum power point at 55±5°C and damp-heat stability of 1340 h aging at 85°C as well as 85%relative humidity. | Shuang Liu Deyi Zhang Yusong Sheng Weihua Zhang Zhaotong Qin Minchao Qin Sheng Li Yifan Wang Chenxu Gao Qifei Wang Yue Ming Chao Liu Kai Yang Qingyi Huang Jianhang Qi Qiaojiao Gao Kai Chen Yue Hu Yaoguang Rong Xinhui Lu Anyi Mei Hongwei Han | 2022 | Fundamental Research2022,2,2: | 1 |
