1常见金属元素对人体的作用及危害显示文摘金属元素与人类生活息息相关,金属的应用推动了人类生活的发展,同时也给人体带来一些副作用。金属元素中有的是人体必需元素,有的则是非必需元素,必需元素在人体内的平衡被打破(缺失、过量),也会对人体健康产生不利影响;而非必需元素,特别是一些重金属元素往往对人体有毒性,甚至会产生致癌作用。综述了铅、汞、镉、铬、铝、铜、镍、锌、铁、钴、钛、钡、锰13种金属对环境和人类健康的影响,介绍了金属元素的来源和人类摄入金属元素的方式。进一步阐述了金属元素的毒性机制,如刺激细胞氧化应激、抑制DNA表达、诱发突变导致癌细胞的产生和增殖等,旨在通过阐明金属元素与人体健康之间的关系,加强人类对金属元素的自我防范意识。李争显 李伟 LEI Jiajun LI Qianyu 刘林涛 周廉 2020中国材料进展2020,39,12:53
2Long-term cycles in the carbon reservoir of the Quaternary ocean: a perspective from the South China Sea显示文摘In recent years,long-term,high-resolution records from the deep sea and ice-cores have ofered new research opportunities for Quaternary science.Paleoclimate studies are no longer restricted to individual glacial cycles,but extend to long-term(≥105 yr)processes across those cycles.Ocean Drilling Program Leg 184 of the South China Sea in 1999 uncovered well-preserved sediment sections,in which three long-term cycles in Pleistocene carbon isotope(δ13C)sequence have been found and demonstrated to be common in the global ocean.Subsequent discoveries conirm the existence of long-term processes of 105yr in both the hydrologic(ice-sheet changes)and carbon(biogeochemical changes)cycles,posing the question whether the two processes are related.he present review shows that the long-eccentricity cycles prevail throughout theδ13C and other biogeochemical records in geologic history,and 400-kyr cycles in the oceanicδ13C sequence before the Quaternary can be hypothetically explained by changes in ratio between particulate and dissolved organic carbon(POC/DOC)in the ocean,depending on the monsoon-controlled nutrient supply.his is a‘DOC hypothesis’.However,ocean restructuring at 1.6 Ma marked by the isolation of a sluggish abyss under the Southern Ocean has obscured the long-eccentricity 400-kyr signal in oceanicδ13C.he last million-year period has experienced two major changes in the climate regime,namely the mid-Pleistocene transition(MPT)centered at 0.9 Ma and the mid-Brunhes event(MBE)around 0.4 Ma.he MPT and MBE were preluded byδ13C maxima-III(δ13Cmax-III)~1.0 Ma andδ13Cmax-II~0.5 Ma,respectively.Together with similar hydroclimatic phenomena over corresponding glacial cycles,the two groups of hydrologic and biogeochemical events appear to have been driven largely by oceanographic changes in the Southern Ocean.herefore,we interpret that the long-term biogeochemical processes originating from the Southern Ocean must have played a crucial role in Quaternary ice-sheet waxing and waning.PinXian Wang QianYu Li Jun Tian ZhiMin Jian ChuanLian Liu Li Li WenTao Ma 2014National Science Review2014,1,1:23
3Roles of Helicobacter pylori infection and cyclooxygenase-2 expression in gastric carcinogenesis显示文摘AIM: Cyclooxygenase (COX)-2 is over expressed ingastrointestinal neoplasm. Helicobacter pylori ( H pylon)infection is causally linked to gastric cancer. However, theexpression of COX-2 in various stages of Hpylori-associatedgastric carcinogenesis pathway has not been elucidated.Therefore, the aim of this study was to clarify the role ofH pyloriinduced COX-2 expression during carcinogenesisin the stomach.METHODS: Gastric biopsies from 138 subjects [30 casesof chronic superficial gastritis (CSG), 28 cases of gastricglandular atrophy (GA), 45 cases of gastric mucosal intestinalmetaplasia (IM), 12 cases of moderate gastric epithelialdysplasia and 23 cases of gastric cancer] were enrolled.Hpyloriinfection was assessed by a rapid urease test andhistological examination (modified Giemsa staining). Theexpression of COX-1 and COX-2 in human gastric mucosawas detected by immunohistochemical staining.I^7~I_~: Hpyloriinfeddon rate was 64.3% in GA and 69.5%in gastric cancer, which was significantly higher than that(36.7%) in CSG (P<0.05). The positive expression rates ofCOX-2 were 10.0%, 35.7%, 37.8%, 41.7% and 69.5% inCSG, GA, IM, dysplasia and gastric cancer, respectively.From CSG to GA, IM, dysplasia and finally to gastric cancer,expression of COX-2 showed an ascending tendency, whereasCOX-1 expression did not change significantly in the gastricmucosa. 4Tissue-specific transcription reprogramming promotes liver metastasis of colorectal cancer显示文摘Metastasis,the development of secondary malignant growths at a distance from a primary tumor,is the cause of death for 90%of cancer patients,but little is known about how metastatic cancer cells adapt to and colonize new tissue environments.Here,using clinical samples,patient-derived xenograft(PDX)samples,PDX cells,and primary/metastatic cell lines,we discovered that liver metastatic colorectal cancer(CRC)cells lose their colon-specific gene transcription program yet gain a liver-specific gene transcription program.We showed that this transcription reprogramming is driven by a reshaped epigenetic landscape of both typical enhancers and super-enhancers.Further,we identified that the liver-specific transcription factors FOXA2 and HNF1A can bind to the gained enhancers and activate the liver-specific gene transcription,thereby driving CRC liver metastasis.Importantly,similar transcription reprogramming can be observed in multiple cancer types.Our data suggest that reprogrammed tissue-specific transcription promotes metastasis and should be targeted therapeutically.Shuaishuai Teng Yang Eric Li Ming Yang Rui Qi Yiming Huang Qianyu Wang Yanmei Zhang Shanwen Chen Shasha Li Kequan Lin Yang Cao Qunsheng Ji Qingyang Gu Yujing Cheng Zai Chang Wei Guo Pengyuan Wang Ivan Garcia-Bassets Zhi John Lu Dong Wang 2020Cell Research2020,30,1:11
5Chemical Mechanism of Flower Color Microvariation in Paeonia with Yellow Flowers显示文摘Paeonia species are important ornamental plants,including three types:tree peony,herbaceous peony,and Itoh hybrid peony.Paeonia with yellow color is desired and becoming popular.However,the chemical mechanism of the formation of yellow flowers in Paeonia is still unclear.In this study,14 representative samples were selected:four samples of three species of Paeonia,four herbaceous peony cultivars,three lutea hybrid tree peony cultivars,and three Itoh hybrid peony cultivars.The petal extracts of the samples were determined by HPLC-DAD and HPLCQ-TOF-MS/MS.In total,29 flavonoids were isolated and identified,including 28 flavonol glycosides and one chalcone derivative.There were significant differences in the composition and content of flavonoids in petals of different cultivars(species).The total content of flavonoids was between 19.430 and 143.043 mg·g^−1 DW.Flavonol glycosides were detected in all samples.Chalconaringenin 2′-O-glucoside was detected from one herbaceous peony cultivar‘Golden Wheel’lutea hybrid tree peony cultivars,and Itoh peony cultivars.The content of chalconaringenin 2′-O-glucoside in the samples was more than 43% of total flavonoids.The pigment type and content of lutea hybrid tree peonies and Itoh hybrid peonies are similar.Total flavonoids,especially quercetin 3-O-galloylglucoside and chalconaringenin 2′-O-glucoside contribute greatly to the formation of yellow flowers of Paeonia.The results of this study provide a comprehensive understanding of the chemical mechanism for yellow flower coloration of Paeonia,and lay the foundation for yellow flower breeding of Paeonia.Yong Yang Bing Li Chengyong Feng Qian Wu Qianyu Wang Shanshan Li Xiaonan Yu Liangsheng Wang 2020Horticultural Plant Journal2020,6,3:10
6Effects of folic acid on epithelial apoptosis and expression of Bcl-2 and p53 in premalignant gastric lesions显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the effects of folic acid on epithelial apoptosis and expression of Bcl-2 and p53 in the tissues of premalignant gastric lesions.METHODS: Thirty-eight patients, with premalignant gastric lesions including 18 colonic-type intestinal metaplasia(IM)and 20 mild or moderate dysplasia, were randomly divided into a treatment group (n = 19) receiving folic acid 10 mg thrice daily and a control group (n = 19) receiving sucralfate 1 000 mg thrice daily for 3 mo. All patients undervvent endoscopies and four biopsies were taken prior to treatment and repeated after concluding therapy.Folate concentrations in gastric mucosa were measured with chemiluminescent enzyme immunoassay. Epithelial apoptosis and the expression of Bcl-2 and p53 protein in gastric mucosa were detected with flow cytometric assay.RESULTS: The mean of folate concentration in gastric mucosa was 9.03±3.37 μg/g wet wt in the folic acid treatment group, which was significantly higher than 6.83±3.02 μg/g wet wt in the control group. Both the epithelial apoptosis rate and the tumor suppressor p53expression in gastric mucosa significantly increased after folic acid treatment. 7Melatonin promotes ripening of grape berry via increasing the levels of ABA, H2O2, and particularly ethylene显示文摘The role of melatonin in the regulation of fruit ripening and the mechanism involved remain largely unknown.In“Moldova”grape berries,melatonin accumulated rapidly from onset of veraison,reached the maximum at 94 days after bloom(DAB)and then exhibited low levels at late stages of berry ripening.By contrast,abscisic acid(ABA)and hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)exhibited different accumulation patterns,and ethylene was primarily produced immediately before veraison.Further experiments demonstrated that 10 and particularly 100µM melatonin treatments increased the levels of ABA,H2O2,and ethylene production and promoted berry ripening compared with the control treatment,whereas 0.1 and 1.0µM melatonin did not lead to clear effects.Additionally,the application of inhibitors indicated that ABA,H2O2,and ethylene participated in the regulation of berry ripening induced by melatonin,and the suppression of ethylene biosynthesis produced the greatest inhibitory effects on melatonin-induced berry ripening compared with those of ABA and H2O2.Melatonin also promoted ethylene production via ABA.In summary,10 and particularly 100µM melatonin treatments promoted berry ripening,which was accomplished,at least partially,via the other signaling molecules of ABA,H2O2,and particularly ethylene.This research provides insight into melatonin signaling during berry ripening and may advance the application of melatonin to accelerate berry ripening.Lili Xu Qianyu Yue Guangqing Xiang Feng’e Bian Yuxin Yao 2018Horticulture Research2018,5,1:7
8Chondrogenesis mediates progression of ankylosing spondylitis through heterotopic ossification显示文摘Ankylosing spondylitis(AS)is chronic inflammatory arthritis with a progressive fusion of axial joints.Anti-inflammatory treatments such as anti-TNF-αantibody therapy suppress inflammation but do not effectively halt the progression of spine fusion in AS patients.Here we report that the autoimmune inflammation of AS generates a microenvironment that promotes chondrogenesis in spine ligaments as the process of spine fusion.Chondrocyte differentiation was observed in the ligaments of patients with earlystage AS,and cartilage formation was followed by calcification.Moreover,a large number of giant osteoclasts were found in the inflammatory environment of ligaments and on bony surfaces of calcified cartilage.Resorption activity by these giant osteoclasts generated marrow with high levels of active TGF-β,which induced new bone formation in the ligaments.Notably,no Osterix+osteoprogenitors were found in osteoclast resorption areas,indicating uncoupled bone resorption and formation.Even at the late and maturation stages,the uncoupled osteoclast resorption in bony interspinous ligament activates TGF-βto induce the progression of ossification in AS patients.Osteoclast resorption of calcified cartilage-initiated ossification in the progression of AS is a similar pathologic process of acquired heterotopic ossification(HO).Our finding of cartilage formation in the ligaments of AS patients revealed that the pathogenesis of spinal fusion is a process of HO and explained why anti-inflammatory treatments do not slow ankylosing once there is new bone formation in spinal soft tissues.Thus,inhibition of HO formation,such as osteoclast activity,cartilage formation,or TGF-βactivity could be a potential therapy for AS.Tao Yu Jianguo Zhang Wei Zhu Xiao Wang Yun Bai Bin Feng Qianyu Zhuang Chang Han Shengru Wang Qimiao Hu Senbo An Mei Wan Shiwu Dong Jianzhong Xu Xisheng Weng Xu Cao 2021Bone Research2021,9,2:7
9Melatonin Treatment Enhances the Polyphenol Content and Antioxidant Capacity of Red Wine显示文摘Melatonin and polyphenols are strong antioxidants, and melatonin is also a potential plant growth regulator. The role of melatonin in regulating polyphenol metabolism is unclear. This study assessed the primary impacts of exogenous melatonin treatment on phenolics accumulation and antioxidant capacity of the 'Moldova' wine. It was found that two times of 100 μmol·L^(-1) melatonin treatment clearly enhanced the endogenous melatonin content of ripened berries and wine. Further experiments indicated that melatonin treatment significantly increased the contents of total phenols, flavonoids and anthocyanins in wine. Additionally, the contents of most of the 20 detected individual phenolic compounds were significantly enhanced by melatonin treatment in wine. Particularly, the content of two non-flavonoid phenolic compounds(syringic and coumaric acid) and four anthocyanin compounds [Mv-3-Glu, Mv-3-(6-Coum)Glu-5-Glu, Dp-3-(6-AC)Glu and Dp-3-(6-Coum)Glu-5-Glu]were largely increased by melatonin treatment. In contrast, only Pn-3-(6-Coum)Glu was significantly reduced. Moreover, melatonin treatment significantly enhanced the antioxidant capacity of wine indicated by DPPH and FRAP assays. 10Astronomically modulated late Pliocene equatorial Pacific climate transition and Northern Hemisphere ice sheet expansion显示文摘The equatorial Pacific underwent a significant climate transition during the late Pliocene, which is characterized by cooling of global sea surface temperatures (SSTs) and formation of a marked SST gradient between the eastern and western equatorial Pacific. Moreover, this transition was nearly synchronous with the late Pliocene Northern Hemisphere glaciation. Probing the relationship among solar insolation, low and high latitude processes is the key to unravel the mechanism of this climate transition. A series of statistical methods were used in this study to analyze the orbital components of the equatorial Pacific SST and global ice volume records for the past 5 Ma. We found that integrated solar insolation rather than the monthly mean insolation is the primary external forcing of the late Pliocene climate transition, and that on orbital time scale the SSTs of the eastern and western equatorial Pacific display consistent change rather than a 'seesaw' pattern. Changes of Earth’s orbital configuration have been responsible for this climate transition whereas the feedback effects of atmospheric CO2 concentration have further cooled the global climate since the early Cenozoic.MA WenTao TIAN Jun LI QianYu 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,2:4
11Enhanced electrochemical property of FePO_4-coated LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_4 as cathode materials for Li-ion battery显示文摘Pristine LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_4and FePO_4-coated one with Fd-3m space groups were prepared by a sol-gel method.The structure and performance were studied by X-ray diffraction(XRD)rietveld refinement,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),high resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM),energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS)mapping,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)and chargedischarge tests,respectively.The lattice parameters of all samples almost remain the same from the Rietveld refinement,revealing that the crystallographic structure has no obvious difference between pristine LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_4and FePO_4-coated one.All materials show similar morphologies with uniform particle distribution with small particle size,and FePO_4coating does not affect the morphology of LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_4material.EDS mapping and HRTEM show that FePO_4may be successfully wrapped around the surfaces of LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_4particles,and provides an effective coating layer between the electrolyte and the surface of LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_4particles.FePO_4(1 wt%)-coated LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_4cathode shows the highest discharge capacity at high rate(2C)among all samples.After 80 cycles,the reversible discharge capacity of FePO_4(1 wt%)coated Li Ni-0.5Mn1.5O4is 117 m Ah g1,but the pristine one only has 50 m Ah g^(-1).FePO_4coating is an effective and controllable way to stabilize the LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_4/electrolyte interface,and avoids the direct contact between LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_4powders and electrolyte,then suppresses the side reactions and enhances the electrochemical performance of the LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_4.Ting-Feng Yi Yan-Mei Li Xiao-Ya Li Jing-Jing Pan Qianyu Zhang Yan-Rong Zhu 2017Science Bulletin2017,62,14:4
12Multicenter phaseⅡstudy of apatinib single or combination therapy in HER2-negative breast cancer involving chest wall metastasis显示文摘Objective:Breast cancer(BC)with chest wall metastasis(CWM)usually shows rich neovascularization.This trial explored the clinical effect of apatinib on human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)-negative advanced BC involving CWM.Methods:This trial involved four centers in China and was conducted from September 2016 to March 2020.Patients received apatinib 500 mg/d[either alone or with endocrine therapy if hormone receptor-positive(HR+)]until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity.Progression-free survival(PFS)was the primary endpoint.Results:We evaluated 26 patients for efficacy.The median PFS(mPFS)and median overall survival(mOS)were4.9[range:2.0-28.5;95%confidence interval(95%CI):2.1-8.3]months and 18(range:3-55;95%CI:12.9-23.1)months,respectively.The objective response rate(ORR)was 42.3%(11/26),and the disease-control rate was76.9%(20/26).In the subgroup analysis,HR+patients compared with HR-negative patients had significantly improved mPFS of 7.0(95%CI:2.2-11.8)months vs.2.3(95%CI:1.2-3.4)months,respectively(P=0.001);and mPFS in patients without or with chest wall radiotherapy was 6.4(95%CI:1.6-19.5)months vs.3.0(95%CI:1.3-4.6)months,respectively(P=0.041).In the multivariate analysis,HR+status was the only independent predictive factor for favorable PFS(P=0.014).Conclusions:Apatinib was highly effective for BC patients with CWM,especially when combined with endocrine therapy.PFS improved significantly in patients with HR+status who did not receive chest wall radiotherapy.However,adverse events were serious and should be carefully monitored from the beginning of apatinib treatment.Huiping Li Cuizhi Geng Hongmei Zhao Hanfang Jiang Guohong Song Jiayang Zhang Yaxin Liu Xinyu Gui Jing Wang Kun Li Zhongsheng Tong Fangyuan Zhao Junlan Yang Guoliang Chen Qianyu Liu Xu Liang 2021Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,2:4
13Paleogene marine deposition records of rifting and breakup of the South China Sea:An overview显示文摘A compilation of available marine deposition data from offshore S-SE China reveals evidence of rifting and breakup of the South China Sea(SCS) during the Paleogene. Marine deposition started earlier in the Paleocene in the East China Sea(ECS)-Taiwan region before expanding southwestward into the SCS region in the middle Eocene. Our data indicate the existence of an elongated Paleogene China Sea in these areas stretching along the northeasterly structural belts, probably as part of the marginal western paleo-Pacific. The southwestward shift of marine influence in the middle Eocene was responding to a period of intensive rifting and subsidence in the SCS region, while the sea in the ECS-Taiwan region started to shrink and shoal after the late Eocene, likely associated with local breakup and initial spreading in the Taiwan-Taixinan Basin area. 14Efficacy of omeprazole and amoxicillin with either clarithromycin or metronidazole on eradication of Helicobacter pylori in Chinese peptic ulcer patients显示文摘AIM: One-week triple therapy with proton pump inhibitors, clarithromycin and amoxicillin has recently been proposed as the first-line treatment for Helicobacter pylori(H pylori) infection; however, data regarding the effects of this regimen in China are scarce. The aim of this prospective and randomized study was to compare the efficacy of clarithromycin and metronidazole when they were combined with omeprazole and amoxicillin on eradication of H pylori and ulcer healing in Chinese peptic ulcer patients.METHODS: A total of 103 subjects with H pylori-positive peptic ulcer were randomly divided into two groups, and accepted triple therapy with omeprazole 20 mg, amoxicillin 1 000 mg and either clarithromycin 500 mg (OAC group,n = 58) or metronidazole 400 mg (OAM group, n = 45).All drugs were given twice daily for 7 d. Patients with active peptic ulcer were treated with omeprazole 20 mg daily for 2-4 wk after anti-H pylori therapy. Six to eight weeks after omeprazole therapy, all patients underwent endoscopies and four biopsies (two from the antrum and two others from the corpus of stomach) were taken for rapid urease test and histological analysis (with modified Giemsa staining) to examine H pylori. Successful eradication was defined as negative results from both examination methods.RESULTS: One hundred patients completed the entire course of therapy and returned for follow-up. The eradication rate of H pylori for the per-protocol analysis was 89.3% (50/56) in OAC group and 84.1% (37/44) in OAM group. Based on the intention-to-treat analysis, the eradication rate of H pylori was 86.2% (50/58) in OAC group and 82.2% (37/45) in OAM group. There were no significant differences in eradication rates between the two groups on either analysis. The active ulcer-healing rate was 96.7% (29/30) in OAC group and 100% (21/21)in OAM group (per-protocol analysis, P>0.05). Six patients in OAC group (10.3%) and five in OAM group (11.1%)reported adverse events (P>0.05).CONCLUSION: One-week triple therapy with omeprazole and amoxicillin in combination with either clarithromycin or metronidazole is effective for the eradication of H pylori. 15Simulation and analysis of UHV half wavelength and DC hybrid transmission system显示文摘The scenarios of a half wavelength transmission line(HWTL) connected to the original DC asynchronous interconnection system are established based on the quasi-steady state model of HWTL, which include single or double loops of single channel and multi-channel scenarios with different starting and landing points. Firstly, the steady state power flow characters of multi-scenario transmission schemes are studied. The voltage distribution characters of HWTL are analyzed when its transmission power and power factor vary, and the influence of the DC power variation on voltage of HWTL is discussed. Then the transient characters of HWDHTS are explored. 16Nd isotopic variations and its implications in the recent sediments from the northern South China Sea显示文摘The chondrite-normalized REE distribution patterns in recent sediments from the northern South China Sea and surrounding areas are similar, with the HREE values being almost equal to or slightly higher, and the LaN/LuN ratio being lower, than PAAS standards. However, samples from the Xijiang River, a major branch of the Pearl River system, show opposite trends, i.e., with slightly lower HREE values and higher LaN/LuN ratio than PAAS. The distribution of Nd isotopes in sediments from the northern South China Sea was controlled by the Pearl River and the inshore area of South China, respectively. The volume of εNd(0) from inshore areas of southern China is apparently higher than that from the Pearl River, and εNd(0) values in offshore sediments and Taiwan Island are between these values. The results clearly show that εNd(0) volume in the northeastern South China Sea is higher than in the southwest part of the northern South China Sea, indicating different source rock types. The main source rock of the Pearl River sediment is carbonate types and affects sediment deposition in the southwest of the northern South China Sea, while the source rock in the inshore area of southern China, mainly Mesozoic and Cenozoic granites, contributes to sediments in the northeastern area of the northern South China Sea. Due to different source rock types, the HREE values and the volume of εNd(0) in recent sediments supplied by the inshore area of southern China are higher than those from the Pearl River. 17Profiling of circular RNA N^(6)-methyladenosine in moso bamboo(Phyllostachys edulis)using nanopore-based direct RNA sequencing显示文摘N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)is a prevalent modification in messenger RNAs and circular RNAs that play important roles in regulating various aspects of RNA metabolism.However,the occurrence of the m^(6)A modification in plant circular RNAs has not been reported.A widely used method to identify m^(6)A modifications relies on m^(6)A-specific antibodies followed by next-generation sequencing of precipitated RNAs(MeRIP-Seq).However,one limitation of MeRIP-Seq is that it does not provide the precise location of m^(6)A at single-nucleotide resolution.Although more recent sequencing techniques such as Nanopore-based direct RNA sequencing(DRS)can overcome such limitations,the technology does not allow sequencing of circular RNAs,as these molecules lack a poly(A)tail.Here,we developed a novel method to detect the precise location of m^(6)A modifications in circular RNAs using Nanopore DRS.We first enriched our samples for circular RNAs,which we then fragmented and sequenced on the Nanopore platform with a customized protocol.Using this method,we identified 470 unique circular RNAs from DRS reads based on the back-spliced junction region.Among exonic circular RNAs,about 10%contained m^(6)A sites,which mainly occurred around acceptor and donor splice sites.This study demonstrates the utility of our antibody-independent method in identifying total and methylated circular RNAs using Nanopore DRS.This method has the additional advantage of providing the exact location of m^(6)A sites at single-base resolution in circular RNAs or linear transcripts from non-coding RNA without poly(A)tails.Yongsheng Wang Huihui Wang Feihu Xi Huiyuan Wang Ximei Han Wentao Wei Hangxiao Zhang Qianyue Zhang Yushan Zheng Qiang Zhu Markus V.Kohnen Anireddy S.N.Reddy Lianfeng Gu 2020Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,12:3

19Anchoring Ni single atoms on sulfur-vacancy-enriched ZnIn_(2)S_(4) nanosheets for boosting photocatalytic hydrogen evolution显示文摘Structure manipulation of photocatalysts at an atomic scale is a promising way to improve its photocatalytic performance.Herein,we realize the anchoring of single Ni atoms on the ZnIn_(2)S_(4) nanosheets with rich sulfur vacancies.Experimental results demonstrate that single Ni atoms induce the formation of NiO-M(Zn/In) atomic interface,which can efficiently promote the carriers separation and prolong the carrier life time.In addition,in situ electron spin resonance spectroscopy(ESR) confirms that the single Ni atoms act as an electron trapping center for protons reduction.As a result,the single Ni atoms decorated ZnIn_(2)S_(4) nanosheets with rich sulfur vacancies(Ni/ZnIn_(2)S_(4)-RVs) shows a hydrogen evolution rate up to 89.4 μmol h^(-1), almost 5.7 and 2.3 times higher compared to that of ZnIn_(2)S_(4) nanosheets with poor sulfur vacancies and rich sulfur vacancies(denoted as ZnIn_(2)S_(4)-PVs and ZnIn_(2)S_(4)-RVs).This work opens up a new perspective manipulating the single-atom cocatalyst and sulfur vacancy on sulfide supports for improving photocatalytic hydrogen evolution.Jingwen Pan Gongxin Zhang Zhongjie Guan Qianyu Zhao Guoqiang Li Jianjun Yang Qiuye Li Zhigang Zou 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,7:2
20Highly aligned lithiophilic electrospun nanofiber membrane for the multiscale suppression of Li dendrite growth显示文摘Using inorganic fibrous membranes as protective layers has yielded success in suppressing dendrite growth.However,conventional fibrous membranes usually have large voids and low affinity for Li,promoting inhomogeneous charge distribution and allowing some dendrites to grow.Herein,we introduce a highly aligned TiO_(2)/SiO_(2)(A-TS)electrospun nanofiber membrane as a protective layer for the Li metal anode.The A-TS membrane is fabricated by a custom-made electrospinning system with an automatic fiber alignment collector that allows control of the fibers’orientation.At the scale of the individual fibers,their high binding energies with Li can attract more“dead”Li by reacting with the SiO_(2) component of the composite,avoiding uncontrollable deposition on the metal anode.At the membrane scale,these highly ordered structures achieve homogeneous contact and charge distribution on the Li metal surface,leaving no vulnerable areas to nucleate dendrite formation.Additionally,the excellent mechanical and thermal stability properties of the A-TS membrane prevent any potential puncturing by dendrites or thermal runaway in a battery.Hence,an A-TS@Li anode exhibits stable cycling performance when used in both Li-S and Li-NCM811 batteries,highlighting significant reference values for the future design and development of high-energy-density metal-based battery systems.Jianan Wang Qianyue Ma Shiyi Sun Kai Yang Qiong Cai Emilia Olsson Xin Chen Ze Wang Amr MAbdelkader Yinshi Li Wei Yan Shujiang Ding Kai Xi 2022eScience2022,2,6:2
