| 1 | Gambogic acid induces mitochondria-dependent apoptosis by modulation of Bcl-2 and Bax in mantle cell lymphoma JeKo-1 cells显示文摘Aim: To study the mechanisms in gambogic acid (GA) -induced JeKo-1 human Mantle Cell Lymphoma cell apoptosis in vitro. Methods: The proliferation of GA-treated JeKo-1 cells was measured by CCK-8 assay and Ki-67 immunocytochemical detection. Apoptosis, cell cycle and mitochondrial membrane potential were measured by flow cytometric analysis. Caspase-3,-8 and -9 were detected by colorimetric assay. Bcl-2 and Bax were analyzed by Western blotting. Results: GA inhibited cell growth in a time-and dose-dependent manner. GA induces apoptosis in JeKo-1 cells but not in normal bone marrow cells, which was involved in reducing the membrane potential of mitochondria, activating caspases-3, -8 and -9 and decreasing the ratio of Bcl-2 and Bax without cell cycle arresting. | 2 | Leaching and Redistribution of Nutrients in Surface Layer of Red Soils in Southeast China显示文摘The leaching and redistribution of nutrients in the surface layer of 4 types of red soils in Southeast China were studied with a lysimeter experiment under filed conditions.Results showed that the leaching concentrated in the rainy season(from April to June).Generally,the leaching of soil nutrients from the surface layer of red soils was in the order of Ca>Mg>K>NO3-N,In fertilization treatment,the total amount of soil nutrients leached out of the surface layer in a red soil derived from granite was the highest in all soils.The uptake by grass decreased the leaching of fertilizer ions in surface layer,particularly for No3-N,Soil total N and exchangeable K,Ca and Mg in the surface layer decreased with leaching and grass uptake during the 2 years without new fertilization of urea,Ca(H2PO4)2,KCl,CaCO3 and MgCO3,Ca moved from the application layer(0-5cm) of fertilizer and accumulated in the 10-30cm depth in the soils studied except that derved from quaternary red clay.The deficiency of soil exchangeable K will become a serious degradation process facing the Southeast China. | SUN BO ZHANG TAOLIN and ZHAO QIGUO(Institute of Soil Science, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, P.O. | 4 | Evaluation of the Customer Satisfaction Index for Wellhead Blowout Preventers of China’s Petroleum Industry——A new method based on PLS显示文摘This paper establishes an evaluation model of the customer satisfaction index for the wellhead blowout preventers of China’s petroleum industry based on evaluation models of the customer satisfaction index at home and aboard, and by considering the consuming situation in China and the features of the China’s petroleum industry. For the existence of: (1) multiple correlations among the factors in the model; (2) the variables need to be explained, but that are hard to observe; (3) the customer satisfaction degree of observation variables appears the shape of skewness or two or three peaks, the correlations between the satisfaction index and its factors cannot be described by common multiple regression. This paper uses a partial least squares (PLS) method based on principal components and typical correlative analysis to solve the problem. When PLS is used in the model of the customer satisfaction index of the wellhead blowout preventers, the latent variables and the explanation degree coefficient of the manifest variable to the corresponding latent variables are estimated by PLS path analysis, and the influencing coefficient among the latent variables in the model is estimated by PLS regression analysis. | 5 | A new strain of Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus isolated from Xinjiang, China显示文摘Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus(CCHFV) is a highly pathogenic tick-borne virus with a fatality rate of up to 50% in humans. CCHFV is widely distributed in countries around the world.Outbreaks of CCHFV infection in humans have occurred in prior years in Xinjiang Province, China.Epidemiological surveys have detected CCHFV RNA in ticks and animals; however, few isolates were identified. In this study, we identified and isolated a new CCHFV strain from Hyalomma asiaticum asiaticum ticks collected from north of Tarim Basin in Xinjiang, China. A preliminary investigation of infection and antigens expression of CCHFV was performed in newborn mice. The target tissues for CCHFV replication in newborn mice were identified. The analysis of the phylogenetic relationships with other Chinese strains suggested that diverse genotypes of CCHFV have circulated in Xinjiang for years. | 6 | An efficient algorithm to compute transient pressure responses of slanted wells with arbitrary inclination in reservoirs显示文摘Compared with vertical and horizontal wells, the solution and computation of transient pressure responses of slanted wells are more complex. Vertical and horizontal wells are both simplified cases of slanted wells at particular inclination, so the model for slanted wells is more general and more complex than other models for vertical and horizontal wells. Many authors have studied unsteady-state flow of fluids in slanted wells and various solutions have been proposed. However, until now, few of the published results pertain to the computational efficiency. Whether in the time domain or in the Laplace domain, the computation of integration of complex functions is necessary in obtaining pressure responses of slanted wells, while the computation of the integration is complex and time-consuming. To obtain a perfect type curve the computation time is unacceptable even with an aid of high-speed computers. The purpose of this paper is to present an efficient algorithm to compute transient pressure distributions caused by slanted wells in reservoirs. Based on rigorous derivation, the transient pressure solution for slanted wells of any inclination angle is presented. Assuming an infinite-conductivity wellbore, the location of the equivalent-pressure point is determined. More importantly, according to the characteristics of the integrand in a transient pressure solution for slanted wells, the whole integral interval is partitioned into several small integral intervals, and then the method of variable substitution and the variable step-size piecewise numerical integration are employed. The amount of computation is significantly reduced and the computational efficiency is greatly improved. | 7 | Spatial Distribution and Changes of Heavy Metals of Agricultural Lands in Typical Pregrading Coast in Dongtai City,Jiangsu Province,China显示文摘According to the historical changes of coastal lines, seven soil sampling districts, from land to sea, were arranged in Dongtai City, Jiangsu Province to sample soils from surface and profile. Concentrations of seven major heavy metals (HMs), granularity, pH, organic matters and C/N of the soil samples were analyzed. Results show that concentrations of heavy metals in agricultural land present a certain spatial variance, decreasing from land to sea. Pollution assessment indicates that the agricultural soils were not polluted by HMs, but the potential pollution of Cu and Hg needs to be alerted. Different HMs accumulate in the surface and sub-surface of the soil profiles, and concentrations of Hg and Pb decrease significantly with the increment of soil depth. Concentrations of HMs exhibit a significantly negative correlation to pH, but have no significant relation with organic matters in soil. Principle component analysis show that the concentrations of HMs relate to the land use history. Concentrations of Hg, Ni and Cr in soil are closely related with land use history, and concentrations of Pb, Cu and Cr are affected by land use history as well as other factors. First atmospheric turbulence observation at Antarctic Taishan Station显示文摘This is the second paper of a series devoted to atmospheric optical turbulence C2 n observation using a mobile polar atmospheric parameter measurement system. We present the initial results of C2 n measurement at Antarctic Taishan Station using micro-thermal sensors and a three-dimensional sonic anemometer at height ~2.0 m above the snow surface. The site testing experiments were carried out during the 30 th Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition(CHINARE). We collected about 1 000 h of data between 30 December 2013 and 10 February 2014. The C2 n curve exhibits clear daily structures, with two peaks around midnight and midday and two troughs around 7:30 and 17:00 local time(UTC+5). The mean C2 n is 2.7×10-15 m-2/3 and the 25 th and 75 th percentiles of the C215 n cumulative distribution are 9.6×10-16 m-2/3 and 6.2×10- m-2/3, respectively.
