1The climatic suitability for maize cultivation in China显示文摘To provide scientific support for planning maize production and designing countermeasures against the effects of climate change on the national maize crop, we analyzed the climatic suitability for cultivating maize across China. These analyses were based on annual climate indices at the Chinese national level; these indices influence the geographical distribution of maize cultivation. The annual climate indices, together with geographical information on the current cultivation sites of maize, the maximum entropy (MaxEnt) model, and the ArcGIS spatial analysis technique were used to analyze and predict maize distribution. The results show that the MaxEnt model can be used to study the climatic suitability for maize cultivation. The eight key climatic factors affecting maize cultivation areas were the frost-free period, annual average temperature, ≥0°C accumulated temperature, ≥10°C accumulated temperature continuous days, ≥10°C accumulated temperature, annual precipitation, warmest month average temperature, and humidity index. We classified climatic zones in terms of their suitability for maize cultivation, based on the existence probability determined using the MaxEnt model. Furthermore, climatic thresholds for a potential maize cultivation zone were determined based on the relationship between the dominant climatic factors and the potential maize cultivation area. The results indicated that the importance and thresholds of main climate controls differ for different maize species and maturities, and their specific climatic suitability should be studied further to identify the best cultivation zones. 2Aqueous extract of Taxus Chinensis (Pilger) Rehd inhibits lung carcinoma A549 cells through the epidermal growth factor receptor/mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway in vitro and in vivo显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To explore the anticancer mechanismof aqueous extract of Taxus Chinensis (Pilger) Rehd (AETC).METHODS: The serum pharmacological method was used to avoid interference from administration of the crude medicinal herbs. Eight purebred New Zealand rabbits were used for preparation of serum containing various concentrations of AETC. Forty-eightBalb/c-nu mice were used for in vivo experiments. The effects of serum containing AETC on the proliferation of A549 cells and expression levels of the epidermal growth factor receptor/mitogen-activated protein kinase(EGFR/MAPK) pathway-related proteins in vitro were investigated. Additionally, the effects on the growth of A549 xenografts in nudemice,and expression levels of the EGFR/MAPK pathway-related proteins in the xenografts,were investigated.RESULTS: 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide(MTT) assay revealed that the serum containing AETC significantly decreased the viability of A549 cells in a dose-dependent manner.Western blot showed that the serum containing various concentrations of AETC strongly reduced the levels of phospho-Jun N-terminal kinase(p-JNK) and phospho-extracellular signal-regulated kinase1/2(ERK1/2) while it increased the level of p-p38. However, no significant effects on the expression levels of JNK, ERK1/2, and p38 MAPK were found. In addition, an anticancer effect from AETC was observed invivo in the Balb/c-nu mice bearing A549xenografts.CONCLUSION: AETC has significant effects on the growth of A549 xenografts and on the activity of the EGFR/MAPK pathway. 3Fabrication of Flexible Transparent Conductive Films with Silver Nanowire by Vacuum Filtration and PET Mold Transfer显示文摘The flexible transparent conductive films(FTCFs) of silver nanowire-polyethylene terephthalate(AgNWPET) were prepared by a facile method including vacuum filtration and mold transferring.The effect of silver nanowire weight density on the optical and electrical properties of films,as well as the electrical percolation was investigated.The obtained typical AgNW-PET film exhibited high figure of merit of31.3×10^(-3)Ω^(-1) with low sheet resistance of 4.95 Ω sq^(-1) and high transparency at 550 nm of 83.0%(excluding PET substrate).The resulting FTCFs based on PET substrate with high transmittance and low sheet resistance have a great potential in the application of high-performance flexible electronics and photovoltaic devices.Wei Xu Qingsong xu Qijin Huang Ruiqin Tan Wenfeng Shen Weijie Song 2016Journal of Materials Science & Technology2016,32,2:8

5An RSSl Gradient-based AP Localization Algorithm显示文摘Recent rapid rise of indoor location based services for smartphones has further increased the importance of precise localization of Wi-Fi Access Point(AP).However,most existing AP localization algorithms either exhibit high errors or need specialized hardware in practical scenarios.In this paper,we propose a novel RSSI gradient-based AP localization algorithm.It consists of the following three major steps:firstly,it uses the local received signal strength variations to estimate the direction(minus gradient) of AP,then employs a direction clustering method to identify and filter measurement outliers,and finally adopts triangulation method to localize AP with the selected gradient directions.Experimental results demonstrate that the average localization error of our proposed algorithm is less than 2meters,far outperforming that of the weighted centroid approach.ZHAO Fang LUO Haiyong GENG Hao SUN Qijin 2014China Communications2014,11,2:4

7Climatic suitability and spatial distribution for summer maize cultivation in China at 1.5 and 2.0 °C global warming显示文摘Evaluating climatic suitability of crop cultivation lays a foundation for agriculture coping with climate change scientifically. Herein, we analyse changes in the climatically suitable distribution of summer maize cultivation in China at 1.5℃(GW1.5) and 2.0℃(GW2.0) global warming in the future according to the temperature control targets set by the Paris Agreement. Compared with the reference period (1971- 2000), the summer maize cultivation climatically suitable region (CSR) in China mainly shifts eastwards, and its acreage significantly decreases at both GW1.5 and GW2.0. Despite no dramatic changes in the CSR spatial pattern, there are considerable decreases in the acreages of optimum and suitable regions (the core of the main producing region), indicating that half-a-degree more global warming is unfavourable for summer maize production in China's main producing region. When the global warming threshold increases from GW1.5 to GW2.0, the centres-of-gravity of optimum areas shift northeastward under RCP4.5 and RCP8.5, the centres-of-gravity of both suitable and less suitable areas shift northwestward, though the northward trend is more prominent for the less suitable areas, and the centre-of-gravity of unsuitable areas shifts southeastward. 8Hidden Phase Space Reconstruction: A Novel Chaotic Time Series Prediction Method for Speech Signals显示文摘Speech signals are nonlinear chaotic time series. This paper proposes a novel speech signal nonlinear prediction model with the hidden phase space reconstruction method. The parameters, embedding dimension m, time delay τ and model structure are solved simultaneously, breaking the restriction of phase space, which needs to be reconstructed before modeling for the existing prediction method. Subsequently, an explicit speech signal prediction model is generated. Meanwhile, the introduction of the frame length parameter k effectively extends the prediction length. Experimental results show that the values of m and τ solved by the proposed method are consistent with the values addressed by the Cao method and mutual information method, respectively. In addition, the optimal value of k is further discussed. 9Experimental Constraints on Formation of Low-Cr# Chromitite: Effect of Variable H2O and Cr2O3 on Boninitic-Magma and Harzburgite Reactions显示文摘Reactions between a boninitic or basaltic magma and harzburgite at shallow mantle depths are thought to be closely related to the formation of podiform chromitites,but little experimental data is available on these reactions.In this study,a series of experiments were conducted at 1.5GPa and 1 000–1 400 oC to investigate the interactions between boninitic magma and harzburgite in homogenous mixed systems with varied bulk concentrations of water(~0.7 wt.%–10 wt.%)and Cr2O3(~0.2 wt.%–4 wt.%).In the experimental charges,chromite grains can be observed coexisting with orthopyroxene,clinopyroxene±olivine,and quenched melt in the Cr-bearing systems.The bulk concentration of Cr2O3 in the starting material has a slight effect on compositional changes in the chromites generated.However,the Cr#(Cr#=100×Cr/(Cr+Al))and Mg#(Mg#=100×Mg/(Mg+Fe))values for the chromites exhibit positive and negative correlations,respectively,with the bulk H2O concentrations.At 1 100 oC,chromite Cr#values range from^33–35 to^58–65,and chromite Mg#values range from^70–73 to^55–58when bulk H2O contents in the starting material are increased from^0.7 wt.%to^10 wt.%.The experimentally produced chromites have compositions(as expressed by Cr#,Mg#,and Ni O and Mn O contents)similar to natural chromites from low-Cr#chromitite bodies.We suggest that the interactions between boninitic magmas with varied H2O contents and harzburgite in a shallow mantle wedge could be a possible mechanism that forms the low-Cr#chromitites found in ophiolites.We emphasize here that H2O may play an important role in the compositional evolutions of natural chromitites.Yage Zhao Yanfei Zhang Chao Wang Zhenmin Jin Qijin Xu 2020Journal of Earth Science2020,31,4:3
10Rice SPL10 positively regulates trichome development through expression of HL6 and auxin-related genes显示文摘Trichomes function in plant defenses against biotic and abiotic stresses;examination of glabrous lines,which lack trichomes,has revealed key aspects of trichome development and function.Tests of allelism in 51 glabrous rice(Oryza sativa)accessions collected worldwide identified OsSPL10 and OsWOX3B as regulators of trichome development in rice.Here,we report that OsSPL10 acts as a transcriptional regulator controlling trichome development.Haplotype and transient expression analyses revealed that variation in the approximately 700-bp OsSPL10 promoter region is the primary cause of the glabrous phenotype in the indica cultivar WD-17993.Disruption of OsSPL10 by genome editing decreased leaf trichome density and length in the NIL-HL6 background.Plants with genotype OsSPL10^(WD-17993)/HL6 generated by crossing WD-17993 with NIL-HL6 also had fewer trichomes in the glumes.HAIRY LEAF6(HL6)encodes another transcription factor that regulates trichome initiation and elongation,and OsSPL10 directly binds to the HL6 promoter to regulate its expression.Moreover,the transcript levels of auxin-related genes,such as OsYUCCA5 and OsPIN-FORMED1b,were altered in OsSPL10 overexpression and RNAi transgenic lines.Feeding tests using locusts(Locusta migratoria)demonstrated that non-glandular trichomes affect feeding by this herbivore.Our findings provide a molecular framework for trichome development and an ecological perspective on trichome functions.Jinjie Li Bo Tang Yingxiu Li Chenguang Li Minjie Guo Haiyang Chen Shichen Han Jin Li Qijin Lou Wenqiang Sun Peng Wang Haifeng Guo Wei Ye Zhanying Zhang Hongliang Zhang Sibin Yu Long Zhang Zichao Li 2021Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2021,63,8:2
11Synthesis of Polycaprolactone with Two Carboxyl End Groups显示文摘At 225℃. caprolactone has been polymerized in the presence of succinic acid under dry nitrogen atmosphere. Characterizations of the polymer through IR and molecular weight measurements by 1H-NMR and end group titration have shown that the polycaprolactone obtained is of two carboxyl end groups. The molecular weight of it increases with decreasing of the acid content in the reaction mixture under the same polymerization conditions. 17Genome sequencing and analysis of a granulovirus isolated from the Asiatic rice leafroller, Cnaphalocrocis medinalis显示文摘The complete genome of Cnaphalocrocis medinalis granulovirus(CnmeGV) from a serious migratory rice pest, Cnaphalocrocis medinalis(Lepidoptera: Pyralidae), was sequenced using the Roche 454 Genome Sequencer FLX system(GS FLX) with shotgun strategy and assembled by Roche GS De Novo assembler software. Its circular double-stranded genome is 111,246 bp in size with a high A+T content of 64.8% and codes for 118 putative open reading frames(ORFs). It contains 37 conserved baculovirus core ORFs, 13 unique ORFs, 26 ORFs that were found in all Lepidoptera baculoviruses and 42 common ORFs. The analysis of nucleotide sequence repeats revealed that the CnmeGV genome differs from the rest of sequenced GVs by a 23 kb and a 17 kb gene block inversions, and does not contain any typical homologous region(hr) except for a region of non-hr-like sequence. Chitinase and cathepsin genes, which are reported to have major roles in the liquefaction of the hosts, were not found in the CnmeGV genome, which explains why CnmeGV infected insects do not show the phenotype of typical liquefaction. Phylogenetic analysis,based on the 37 core baculovirus genes, indicates that CnmeGV is closely related to Adoxophyes orana granulovirus.
