2A feedback-retransmission based asynchronous frequency hopping MAC protocol for military aeronautical ad hoc networks显示文摘Attacking time-sensitive targets has rigid demands for the timeliness and reliability of information transmission, while typical Media Access Control(MAC) designed for this application works well only in very light-load scenarios; as a consequence, the performances of system throughput and channel utilization are degraded. For this problem, a feedback-retransmission based asynchronous FRequency hopping Media Access(FRMA) control protocol is proposed. Burst communication, asynchronous Frequency Hopping(FH), channel coding, and feedback retransmission are utilized in FRMA. With the mechanism of asynchronous FH, immediate packet transmission and multi-packet reception can be realized, and thus the timeliness is improved.Furthermore, reliability can be achieved via channel coding and feedback retransmission. With theories of queuing theory, Markov model, packets collision model, and discrete Laplace transformation, the formulas of packet success probability, system throughput, average packet end-to-end delay, and delay distribution are obtained. The approximation accuracy of theoretical derivation is verified by experimental results. 4IMPACT OF CHINESE GUIDELINES FOR MANAGEMENT OF PATIENTS WITH ACUTE MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION ON OUTCOMES OF HOSPITALIZED PATIENTS显示文摘Background The first Chinese guidelines for the diagnosis and management of patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) were issued by the Cardiovascular Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the Editorial Board of the Chinese Journal of Cardiology, and the Editorial Board of the Chinese Circulation Journal in December 2001. However, it is still unclear whether these guidelines have produced a major impact on clinical practice and patient outcomes. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the impact of these guidelines on the management and prognosis of Chinese patients with AMI. Methods A retrospective study was carried out in patients with AMI who were admitted to Qilu Hospital of Shandong University from January 1994 to December 2004. Patients were divided into two groups: group A included patients admitted from January 1994 to December 2001, and group B comprised those admitted from January 2002 to December 2004. Therapeutic approaches and the occurrence rate of angina pectoris, reinfarction, heart failure and death during hospitalization were compared between two groups. Results A total of 1783 patients including 1208 cases in group A and 575 cases in group B were enrolled in this study. No significant difference was found in baseline characteristics between group A and group B patients (all P>0.05). There were more patients undergoing reperfusion therapy within the first 24 hours after symptom onset in group B than in group A(35.8% vs 21.7%, P<0.001). Administration of β-blockers, angiotensin-converting-enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs), angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs), statins, and heparins were more commonly seen in group B than in group A (P< 0.001). There were no significant differences in the use of nitrates or antiplatelet drugs between groups A and B (98.8% vs. 97.9%, P=0.172, and 97.4% vs 98.6%, P=0.113, respectively). In-hospital angina pectoris , heart failure and death were all lower in group B than in group A(32.2% vs 41.2%,P<0.001; 17.2% vs 26.2%,P<0.001; and 6.4% vs 9.4%, P=0.038, respectively). There was no significant difference in the rate of reinfarction between group A and B patients (2.2% vs 1.7%,P=0.492). 7An injectable self-adaptive polymer as a drug carrier for the treatment of nontraumatic early-stage osteonecrosis of the femoral head显示文摘Core decompression(CD)with the elimination of osteonecrotic bone is the most common strategy for treating early-stage nontraumatic osteonecrosis of the femoral head(ONFH).Adjuvant treatments are widely used in combination with CD as suitable methods of therapy.Existing augmentations have to be fabricated in advance.Here,we report a novel injectable glycerin-modified polycaprolactone(GPCL)that can adapt to the shape of the CD cavity.GPCL shows great flowability at 52.6℃.After solidification,its compressive modulus was 120 kPa at body temperature(37℃).This excellent characteristic enables the polymer to provide mechanical support in vivo.In addition,GPCL acts as a carrier of the therapeutic agent zoledronic acid(ZA),demonstrating sustained release into the CD region.ZA-loaded GPCL was injected into ONFH lesions to treat early-stage nontraumatic cases.Compared to that in the CD group,CD+ZA-loaded GPCL injection preserved bone density and increased the collagen level in the femoral head.At the interface between the GPCL and CD tunnel wall,osteogenesis was significantly promoted.In addition,morphological evaluations revealed that the femoral heads in the CD+ZA-GPCL group exhibited improved pressure resistance.These results suggest a strategy effective to preserve the bone density of the femoral head,thus decreasing the possibility of femoral head collapse.This novel injectable polymer has,therefore,considerable potential in clinical applications.Ning Kong Hang Yang Run Tian Guanzhi Liu Yiyang Li Huanshuai Guan Qilu Wei Xueshan Du Yutian Lei Zhe Li Ruomu Cao Yiwei Zhao Xiaohui Wang Kunzheng Wang Pei Yang 2022Bone Research2022,10,3:1

11Cryptosporidiosis threat under climate change in China:prediction and validation of habitat suitability and outbreak risk for human-derived Cryptosporidium based on ecological niche models显示文摘Background Cryptosporidiosis is a zoonotic intestinal infectious disease caused by Cryptosporidium spp.,and its transmission is highly influenced by climate factors.In the present study,the potential spatial distribution of Cryptosporidium in China was predicted based on ecological niche models for cryptosporidiosis epidemic risk warning and prevention and control.Methods The applicability of existing Cryptosporidium presence points in ENM analysis was investigated based on data from monitoring sites in 2011–2019.Cryptosporidium occurrence data for China and neighboring countries were extracted and used to construct the ENMs,namely Maxent,Bioclim,Domain,and Garp.Models were evaluated based on Receiver Operating Characteristic curve,Kappa,and True Skill Statistic coefficients.The best model was constructed using Cryptosporidium data and climate variables during 1986‒2010,and used to analyze the effects of climate factors on Cryptosporidium distribution.The climate variables for the period 2011‒2100 were projected to the simulation results to predict the ecological adaptability and potential distribution of Cryptosporidium in future in China.Results The Maxent model(AUC=0.95,maximum Kappa=0.91,maximum TSS=1.00)fit better than the other three models and was thus considered the best ENM for predicting Cryptosporidium habitat suitability.The major suitable habitats for human-derived Cryptosporidium in China were located in some high-population density areas,especially in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River,the lower reaches of the Yellow River,and the Huai and the Pearl River Basins(cloglog value of habitat suitability>0.9).Under future climate change,non-suitable habitats for Cryptosporidium will shrink,while highly suitable habitats will expand significantly(χ^(2)=76.641,P<0.01;χ^(2)=86.836,P<0.01),and the main changes will likely be concentrated in the northeastern,southwestern,and northwestern regions.Conclusions The Maxent model is applicable in prediction of Cryptosporidium habitat suitability and can achieve excellent simulation results.These results suggest a current high risk of transmission and significant pressure for cryptosporidiosis prevention and control in China.Against a future climate change background,Cryptosporidium may gain more suitable habitats within China.Constructing a national surveillance network could facilitate further elucidation of the epidemiological trends and transmission patterns of cryptosporidiosis,and mitigate the associated epidemic and outbreak risks.Xu Wang Yanyan Jiang Weiping Wu Xiaozhou He Zhenghuan Wang Yayi Guan Ning Xu Qilu Chen Yujuan Shen Jianping Cao 2023Infectious Diseases of Poverty2023,12,2:0
12Aberration of X chromosome in liver neoplasm detected by fluorescence in situ hybridization显示文摘BACKGROUND: A diverse range of cytogenetic alterations of autosomal chromosomes has been reported to date. However, few studies have addressed the abnormalities of X chromosome in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) except sporadic reports on the deletion of band F1 in X chromo- some , and the clonal analysis of methylation pattern of the X chromosome-linked human androgen receptor gene. Identification of specific X chromosome alterations during the course of neoplastic development would be essential to defining the genetic basis of HCC. Therefore, we studied the regularity of aberration of X chromosome in liver canc- er. METHODS: Hepatocarcinoma cellular lines and tumor tis- sues were detected respectively through DNA probes of X chromosome after fluorescence in situ hybridization ( FI- SH). RESULTS: Increased copies of X chromosome were ob- served in all samples, and four signals of hybridization were of the major type. CONCLUSIONS: Increased copy number of X chromo- some frequently occur in liver cancer. The relationship be- tween copy number of X chromosome and liver cancer genesis needs further investigation. 13Dolomite reservoir formation and diagenesis evolution of the Upper Ediacaran Qigebrak Formation in the Tabei area,Tarim Basin显示文摘Ancient dolomite reservoirs play an increasingly important role in deep oil and gas exploration.The mechanism of formation and preservation of dolomite reservoirs is complex,which is always the key issue.With the discovery of deep oil and gas in the Ediacaran dolomites of the world,the upper Ediacaran Qigebrak Formation in the Tabei area has begun to attract attention,but its reservoir space difference and formation mechanism have yet to be clarified.Based on ultra-deep drilling cores and field outcrops in the Tabei area,the lithofacies,reservoir space,and formation mechanism are systematically analyzed by macro to micro,and qualitative to quantitative petrology:(1)The types of dolomite can be divided into five major categories,including microbial dolomite,granular dolomite,residual granular dolomite,crystalline dolomite and karst breccias.(2)The main types of reservoir space are microbial-framework pores,microbial-mold pores,and non-fabric selective dissolution pores.Spongiomicrobialite,karst breccias,and fine-grained dolomite are the dominant reservoir rock types.(3)High-frequency sedimentary cycles and meteoric dissolution are the key factors of reservoir formation.Two sets of large-scale reservoirs are present:the first set is mainly controlled by the supergene karst of the Keping movement,and the second set is mainly controlled by high-frequency sedimentary cycles in the penecontemporaneous period.The reservoirs formed at the shallow burial stage and were preserved until the deep burial stage.(4)The quality of a deep reservoir depends on the geological events that affect the processes of pore reduction and increase.Cementation,compaction and pressure solution are the main destructive diagenetic processes;however,the reservoir space can still be effectively preserved under the influence of constructive diagenetic processes,such as meteoric dissolution and early dolomitization.This research has important theoretical and practical significance for revealing the formation mechanism of upper Ediacaran deep dolomite reservoirs in the Tarim Basin.Xudong CHEN Qilu XU Fang HAO Yongquan CHEN Yan YI Fangjie HU Xiaoxue WANG Jinqiang TIAN Guangwei WANG 2023Science China Earth Sciences2023,66,10:0
14A novel hierarchical targeting and controllable smart nanoparticles for enhanced in situ nuclear photodynamic therapy显示文摘Photodynamic therapy(PDT)is a promising and non-invasive treatment for various cancers.Although nuclear PDT has considerable therapeutic prospects,it is still hindered by the non-specific recognition of tumor tissues or the degradation of nuclear targeting cationic groups by enzymes in the blood.Herein,a hierarchical targeted and controlled release strategy is proposed by using folate-modified poly-β-cyclodextrin(poly-β-CD)as a nano-carrier for loading nuclear localization signals(NLSs)-conjugated photosensitizer PAP(PAP=pyropheophorbide a-PAAKRVKLD).Excitingly,the obtained FA-CD@PAP(FA=folic acid)and nanoparticles(NPs)can specifically recognize tumor cells overexpressing folate receptors(FR)to remarkedly enhance the intracellular accumulation.Furthermore,the encapsulated PAP can be released under acidic conditions to realize precise nuclear localization.The reactive oxygen species(ROS)generated by the intranuclear-accumulated PAP upon irradiation can oxidize and destroy DNA chains or DNA repair enzymes instantaneously,which can directly induce cell death.As a result,FA-CD@PAP NPs exhibit excellent tumor regression and negligible side effects.This work provides an intelligent nuclear-targeted delivery strategy for in situ nuclear PDT with extremely prominent efficacy and high biological safety.Gankun Yuan Qilu Wang Zifan You Xuening Chen Jinping Xue Xiao Jia Juanjuan Chen 2022Nano Research2022,15,5:0
