| 1 | Mineral Potential Mapping for Tungsten Polymetallic Deposits in the Nanling Metallogenic Belt, South China显示文摘The Nanling belt in South China has considerable resources of tungsten polymetallic commodities and is one of the most important metallogenic belts in the world. Data-driven weights-of-evidence(WofE) and fuzzy logic models are used to evaluate the tungsten polymetallic potential of the Nanling belt. Initially, seven ore-controlling factors derived from multi-source geospatial datasets(e.g., geological, geochemical, and geophysical) are used for data integration in the two models. Two mineral potential maps are generated that efficiently predicate the locations of the deposits. The WofE map predicate 81% of the deposits within 13.6% of the study area, whereas the fuzzy logic map predicate 81.5% of the deposits within 13% of the area. The predictive maps are syntheses of spatial association rules, which provide better understanding of those factors that control the distribution of mineralization and trigger eventual exploration work in new areas. Subsequently, in order to evaluate the success rate accuracy, the receiver operating characteristic curves and area under the curves(AUCs) for the two potential maps are constructed. The results show that the AUCs for the WofE and fuzzy logic models are 0.775 7 and 0.840 6, respectively. The higher AUC value for the fuzzy logic model implies that it delineate a greater number of favorable areas compared with the WofE model. | 2 | Synthesis and Diameter-dependent Thermal Conductivity of InAs Nanowires显示文摘In this work, we synthesized high-quality In As nanowires by a convenient chemical vapor deposition method,and developed a simple laser heating method to measure the thermal conductivity of a single In As nanowire in air. During the measurement, a focused laser was used to heat one end of a freely suspended nanowire, with its other end embedded into a carbon conductive adhesive. In order to obtain the thermal conductivity of In As nanowires, the heat loss in the heat transfer process was estimated, which includes the heat loss through air conduction, the heat convection, and the radiation loss. The absorption ratio of the laser power in the In As nanowire was calculated. | 3 | Effects of AlCoCrFeNiTi high-entropy alloy on microstructure and mechanical properties of pure aluminum显示文摘A new kind of AlCoCrFeNiTi high-entropy alloy(HEA)as a grain refiner was prepared by vacuum arc melting.In this work,the effects of HEA(1.0 wt.%,2.0 wt.%and 3.0 wt.%)on the microstructure and mechanical properties of pure aluminum were studied.The microstructure was characterized and examined by scanning electron microscope(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS),X-ray diffraction(XRD),electron probe micro-analyzer(EPMA)and transmission electron microscopy(TEM)to indicate the refining abilities and mechanism of HEA on pure aluminum.Results show that the addition of HEA refined both the macrostructure and microstructure of pure aluminum.When 1.0 wt.%HEA was added,most coarse columnar grains were refined into equiaxed crystals,and as the amount of HEA increased to 2.0 wt.%and3.0 wt.%,aluminum grains were further refined,and the grain boundaries were nearly indistinguishable.Moreover,the morphology ofα-Al transformed from coarse columnar crystals to equiaxed grains,and the mean size ofα-Al grains decreased from 374μm to 27μm.The Al3Ti,Al3Ni,and nano-phase precipitated from the aluminum alloy with HEA in the solidification.The typical rod-like nano-phases distributed interdendritic regions ofα-Al.The average length of nano-phases is 2568 nm,4372 nm,and 6907 nm and the average diameter is 112 nm,103 nm,and 92 nm when 1.0 wt.%,2.0 wt.%and 3.0 wt.%HEA were added to the pure aluminum,respectively.The ultimate tensile strength(UTS)and yield strength(YS)were improved in all samples,whereas the elongation(El)was decreased with increasing HEA concentration.When 3.0 wt.%HEA was added into the aluminum melt,the UTS was improved by 145.2%from62 MPa to 152 MPa,the YS was increased by 173.8%from 42 MPa to 115 MPa,and the El was decreased by 33.3%from 39%to 26%. | Qinglin Li Shang Zhao Xuepeng Bao Yushi Zhang Yuqian Zhu Chuangzao Wang Yefeng Lan Yuxin Zhang Tiandong Xia | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,52,17: | 2 |
| 4 | Randomized controlled study of a diagnosis and treatment plan for moderate coronavirus disease 2019 that integrates Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of a diagnosis and treatment plan for moderate coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)that integrates traditional Chinese(TCM)and western medicine.METHODS:One hundred twenty patients with moderate COVID-19 were randomized 1∶2 to the control group(n=40)and experimental group(n=80).Both groups received conventional western medicine treatment,and the experimental group also received TCM decoction.Over a 2-week period from diagnosis,we observed the time to clinical recovery(TTCR),rate of improvement on lung computed tomography(CT)imaging,time to defervescence,cough remission time,hospital discharge rate,average hospitalization stay,modified Medical Research Council(m MRC)scale score,clinical cure rate,laboratory findings,incidence of progression to severe or critical disease,and adverse events.RESULTS:Among 120 enrolled patients,108 completed the study.The baseline data did not differ between the experimental and control groups(all P>0.05).After treatment,the TTCR,rate of lung CT imaging improvement,time to defervescence,cough remission time,hospital discharge rate,average hospitalization stay(among discharged patients),m MRC scale score,clinical cure rate,and rates of normal values for laboratory findings were better in the experimental group than in the control group(P<0.05 or<0.01).The incidence of progression to severe or critical disease and the incidence of adverse events did not differ between the two groups(P>0.05).CONCLUSION:The diagnosis and treatment plan integrating Chinese and western medicine showed improved clinical efficacy compared with western medicine alone for patients with moderate COVID-19 and is worthy of clinical promotion and application. | XIA Wenguang ZHENG Chanjuan ZHANG Jixian HUANG Min LI Qinglin DUAN Can LI Zhengliang FAN Cunyu ZOU Yilong XU Bo YANG Fengwen LIU Qingquan | 2022 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2022,42,2: | 2 |

| 6 | Study on the PTX Parameters and Fractal Characteristics of Ore-Forming Fluids in the East Ore Section of the Pulang Copper Deposit,Southwest China显示文摘In this paper,the east ore section of the Pulang porphyry copper deposit is selected as the research object.The micro-thermometer and laser Raman spectroscopic technique are utilized to study the parameters of ore-forming fluids such as pressure,temperature,and compositions.In the meantime,the fractal models,including the perimeter-area(P-A)model and number-size(N-S)model,are introduced to quantify the shape of fluid inclusions,and distinguish the stages of ore-forming fluids,respectively.The results show that the types of fluid inclusions are diversified,namely two-phase liquid-rich type,two-phase vapor-rich type,three-phase CO2-rich type,three-phase halite-bearing type and pure liquid type.The fluids of main mineralization stage are characterized by medium-high temperature(170.2–421.4°C),medium-high salinity(9.3 wt.%–33.3 wt.%),and low density(0.73–1.06 g/cm3).With the migration and evolution,the temperature,salinity,and pressure of ore-forming fluids gradually decrease,while the density of fluids increases.The liquid-phase compositions mainly include H2O,and the vapor-phase compositions consist of H2O,CH4,N2,and CO2,indicating the characteristics of reducing fluids and the mixing of atmospheric precipitation.In general,the characteristics of ore-forming fluids in the east ore section are similar to those of the first mining area,suggesting that the ore-forming fluids in the east ore section may not migrate from the first mining area.And the east ore section may be a relatively independent metallogenic system.Moreover,the fractal analysis results demonstrate that the shape of fluid inclusions formed in the same hydrothermal activity features self-similarity.The DAPvalues of fluid inclusions in B veins,ED veins,andD veins are 1.04,1.06 and 1.10,respectively,showing a gradually increasing trend from the main stage to the late stage of mineralization.Meanwhile,the shape of fluid inclusions ranging from B veins to D veins becomes increasingly irregular.It also reveals that the homogenization temperature satisfies fractal distribution with four scale-invariant intervals,suggesting that all B veins,ED veins,and D veins have experienced at least four hydrothermal activities.Compared with histogram,the N-S fractal model is able to describe the distribution characteristics of the ore-forming fluids’homogenization temperature more precisely.Therefore,it presents a potential tool for the stage division of ore-forming fluids.This research provides information about the characteristics of ore-forming fluids in the east ore section of the Pulang porphyry copper deposit,which is beneficial for further exploration in this region,and the extension of the application of fractal models in the study of fluid inclusions.However,further testing of fractal models on the fluid inclusion study is warranted to fully determine the universality. | Qinglin Xia Tongfei Li Li Kang Shuai Leng Xiaochen Wang | 2021 | Journal of Earth Science2021,32,2: | 2 |
